He was a great orthodontist but during covid decided to move clinics and gave the patients zero warning or complication and refuses to allow them to transfer beyond disappointed and not a great way to treat your patients

Dr. Ehrmantrout has taken excellent care of our son. His professionalism has fixed his smile and given him confidence to open his mouth wide in pictures again.

My first visit was a great experience! Their check-in process during my first visit and with COVID-19 going on worked out well. I arrived early, called the office and spoke to Lisa, whom by the way is amazing, she has so much energy and makes sure youre well taken care of.Lisa greeted me at the door and had me sign pre-screening paperwork, and kindly told me to use hand sanitizer, which they provided. I saw they had disposable masks available too, but I didnt need any because Ive been good and I always mask-up! Theyre so prepared! I love it!Lisa introduced me to Becky and shes wonderful as well, she made me feel comfortable and took good care of my needs. She was informative and I had a very relaxed experience with her, especially getting x-rays and my photos taken. Honestly, Im in my early 30s and she made me feel like a kid all over again. Its like going to Disneyland but instead of the fun rides, dole whip, and churros, it was more of a top notch guest experience in the world of orthodontics. Yea, I dont know if that made sense. Lol.My first visit lasted about an hour and got a chance to meet Dr. Ehrmantrout. He went over my xrays/photos, providing me recommendations and information on the type of treatment(s) I will need and how long it may be. He was transparent and provided information with thorough knowledge. Becky provided all the information I need and referred me to the dentist next door so I can start treatment and see where it goes.I most definitely recommend this place to adults/moms like me, and the kiddos. The atmosphere is relaxed, fun and high energy. The vibe is meant for kids but that doesnt matter because Im easily entertained by their amazing staff. My 7-year-old daughter is most likely going to get braces and I am most definitely going to take her here. No doubt!I appreciate the staff for being extra cautious to make sure were all safe. My next visit will be in August.

If you had a choice of using this place versus a different one I would definitely go somewhere else. The dentist doesnt seem to have good communication with his staff and his staff doesnt have good communication with their patients. I sat there once waiting for the dentist to come back and he had gone to lunch. No one is on the same page. Ive gone in there for a scan and the scan never happened. Ive been in there for a dentist appointment and the dentist wasnt there. Ive been to many many many dentists and I have been never been left wondering what the hell is going on with my file and just keep getting the runaround. Everybodys very nice but nobody seems to know whats going on. The office is very unorganized and has lost my information numerous times now. Im paying a lot of money for this service and they just keep screwing up. I would never use these guys again.

As someone who works in medicine, my expectations were high for an orthodontist. I had a bad experience with a prior orthodontist, and was a little hesitant to get a 2nd opinion. Dr. Ehrmantrout, Becky and his entire staff were so welcoming and friendly. Becky thoroughly went over all the details, logistics and finances for my Invisalign treatment (very reasonable).The office is clean and modern, I’m so excited to start my Invisalign journey. You will be in great hands!

I was recommended there from my dentist. They are very nice and always friendly. I had my appointment on 4/2 for my vaseline. On that day, I found out mine was not showed up. Which was okay and I understand the current situation that did not get shipment on time. My disappointment was that they that they never followed up for it. Since I did not bother to keep asking, I have been waiting for them to let me know what is going on since I was told to let me know as soon as they found out. I only found out today by calling and hearing voice announcement that they stopped the regular practice til 5/18. I totally understand the reasons why, but my disappointment was they did not notify me by emailing or a phone call in my situation. I know it might be hectic, but courtesy will help the image of office and make them more being professional office. I am just disappointment.

Best orthodontist Doctor and office staff! Everyone has been so wonderful through the entire process with my son and easy to get him in when he needed to get is braces fixed ASAP. I have been with Dr. Ehrmantrout for quite some time as he helped me finally have straight teeth. He was very patient as my process took longer than others. Now my son goes there for check ups to potentially get braces of his own someday. Also, love what he has done with his new place in Lacey. It’s such a fun and welcoming environment , especially with the kids who can play some video games, shoot hoops, and even grab some ice cream. Who doesn’t love a place like that?

What an awesome experience for children to visit this office. So child friendly, starting with a child size front door, to include a complimentary game room with full size arcade games while children wait. Definitely give this place a chance, both my girls love it.

My oldest had her braces pretty early and her experience was flawless. Any time we needed a fix or a question we had a quick answer. Getting set up and walking is through the process was a great experience as well.

We searched for months, visiting several Orthodonic clinics in the area, trying to find the best fit and value. Hands down, Hawks Prairie Orthodontics is the best overall. Dr. E is very knowledgeable. I felt that my son was in good hands under his care. The cost of Invisalign braces was VERY reasonable! I’m so happy we landed here. The staff is also very nice and welcoming! This is where the rest of my children will eventually go, no need to look elsewhere!

I have been putting off getting braces for a long time! Dr. Ehrmantrout and his team have been so wonderful from the very first visit. They had a spot open up just after my consultation and put my braces on the same day. I needed a baby tooth removed and a chain placed and were extremely helpful getting that setup with the oral surgeon as well. They know me when I walk in the door and get me checked in right away, I never wait long. There office is clean and has a great spot for younger kids to play if needed. They are a great office and I am glad they are the ones in charge of my smile.

My experience with Hawks Prairie Orthodontics was AMAZING. They were always welcoming and always so nice. I have a sensitive mouth and have a hard time with people working in my mouth, but they took that into mind and totally were careful with me. When I was scheduled to get my braces on, I was a little nervous, but they were so comforting. I highly suggest going here for braces.

I had braces once before when I was about 13 from a different orthodontist. Now I am 19 and I pay for them on my own because all my teeth had shifted back. The staff was so helpful about setting me up with a payment plan! The entire staff is always so sweet to me. From accepting me when I have been late, to changing my appointments to the Lacey clinic. I just cant rave enough about this office and team. All of them are friendly, professional, informative, and most of all the Dr is amazing. We have our little one (Sabrina L.) in the Damon system which is awesome. Very few visits required and very little maintenance. We have been so happy. Our family travels back and forth from Tacoma to visit this office, and we will continue too with generations to come.

I feel like every time I come in, Im in a very safe environment. I have a lot of anxiety when I get my teeth worked on, and I always feel comfortable with the staff. I almost always misjudge if I have a pokey wire when my wires are changed, and have to come back in the next day and theyre always so kind about getting me in quickly.Ive been super self conscious about my teeth forever, and every time I go in and they take out the wire so I can brush my teeth, I can really see how straight and beautiful they look. It makes me tear up every single time, because they really do look exactly how I wanted them to, and Im not even done yet.I highly recommend seeing Dr. E. hes one of the nicest people Ive met, and i cant thank him enough for all that hes done to help my teeth.Cassidy is also always an absolute delight, and I look forward to seeing her at all of my appointments :)
