I got lost and went to the wrong building, which caused me to be 10 minutes late to my appointment. When I found the right place, I apologized and explained, and the receptionist was pretty rude. They did take me, and the tech was courteous enough, but did absolutely nothing to make me feel comfortable with a pretty invasive exam. Ive always had great experiences with sharp, so maybe thats why this put me off so much.
I got an ultra sound done in the beginning of June. It is now the 2nd of July. After not hearing anything back I decided to call the office directly. The receptionist said I would have to get the results from my doctor who ordered it the ultra sound. However, he is a floating doctor and goes from office to office when coverage is needed. She locates his employee file but he DOESNT have a phone number on file. Now the only way to get my results is to sign a information release form and the only way to do that is to personally go medical records and sign it! What if it was something serious and I was never notified of it? Not to have a phone number for the doctor who order the ultra sound is unacceptable. I spend too much money on health insurance to get told this. What if it was something serious? Do your due diligence and follow up...
