Dr Prabaker is the consulate professional. He patiently explains the logic of the treatments and has the right balance of people and knowledge skills to make a connection with his patients

Very hard to get someone on the phone. They don’t have a letter on the building, very hard to find the office for first time patient. Nurse practitioner said she was writing me an urgent referral for a specialist over a week ago. I haven’t heard from a specialist, I’ve called multiple times... “were still working on it.” “I’m a talk to my manager and get back to you today.” Never got back to me. I’m embarrassed to put my business out there but this is ludicrous..

Short wait, very individual care.

My mother has been one of Dr Prabakers patients for several years now. Recently she fell and broke her wrist while crossing a parking lot and then had the bone set and splinted while at the Sharp Grossmont ER. She was given instructions to contact her primary and get a referral out to a bone specialist to get her arm placed into a cast. She called Prabakers office the very next day and got the answering machine so she left a message and tried again the day after that...and the day after that....and the day after that....and so on. It has now been a week since she broke her arm and she is still NOT in a cast because no one has bothered to call her back. I have even left messages on my mothers behalf. My mother is in pain and suffering because her wrist has still not been seen to by a specialist since Prabaker wont get back to her so that she can get the referral she needs. Needless to say...I am NOT happy and at the time of leaving this review I wish I could give Prabakers office 0 stars. I MIGHT change my review and my opinion IF they call my mother back and refer her to a specialist RIGHT AWAY. Im sorry but this is f***ing ridiculous.

I am very upset . Difficult to make an appointment. Doesnt help much. It is very difficult to ask her for any information. If you want to be healthy, do not get treatment in this center.

Hands down, the best Doctor Ive ever had. The only Doctor to spend more than 5 minutes of personal time during my appointments to show true interest in my health as a person first, and not just a patient or number. Hes truly shown care for me to the point of helping me understand that my overall health success as his patient requires a partnership between he and myself working together. And not a dictatorship.

He treats our family member with dignity and respect and takes great concern in his health. It is not an easy case and he shows care and concern, plus is proactive in areas that might become future problems.

I dont know what s going on but I can never get a person to answer the phone and they never return calls I used to brag about this office the drs are great the office staff is very unconcerned about patient needs or request

Made an appt by phone. Urgent situation! Had a rhinoplasty in a matter of weeks and a lingering sore throat (I mean a month & a half sore throat with a gross aesthetic) was threatening my surgery. I also had another very concerning issue regarding my hands.When I showed up to said appointment, I was told my insurance was inactive. I spent 40 minutes on the phone with my union, (that clearly stated i was active and there had been no changes in my coverage or identification number) and trying to get the situation solved with the front desk lady. The woman at the front desk was respectful and nice while trying to do everything she could.After all of this wasted time, the in house billing woman came out. she told me i had neglected to pay a bill and was refusing to let me see the doctor. First of all, i NEVER received a bill. I offered to pay the balance, because i needed to be seen and had the appointment. she stated that it had been sent to collections, and to pay them. (Never contacted by a collection agency, by the way) The front desk woman who was trying to help me asked the billing clerk to give me information or number for the collection company. The billing person boldly stated that i needed to figure it out on my own and they would think about giving me another appointment.Why was the appointment booked in the first place? why did i not receive a bill?Even willing to pay cash for an appointment because it was an urgent matter, i still could not be seen. The billing person needs to learn to speak to the public. Or just give the debt forwarding information. [I understand a medical provider can deny service if they dont think you can pay for it, but I had cash and was willing to rectify whatever the miscommunication was. Even offered to pay up front for the current appointment. ]This isnt the first issue Ive had with this office. This isnt the second issue. This is now the biggest issue. Two years ago, I didnt mind going to the doctor. This office has made me avoid any doctor office at all costs.

My grandmother has been going to him for years he is very rude and mean to her every time she visits it is time to look for another doctor
