Unfortunately I had a bad experience. Roz was very nice but did a terrible job on my hair. I went in for a shampoo and style wanting beach waves. Ive never had a problem with anyone else before but I had to have her try and fix it and it didnt work. It was my birthday and all I could think of was my ugly hair. Sorry I just had to share this.

Emmy was absolutely wonderful. My hair turned out exactly how I wanted it. The balayage looks so pretty and the color is natural. She was fast yet not rushed. It was the best hair washing experience Ive ever had lol! Will most definitely be back!

I called to set up pedicures because the website indicates that they use hot towels, but the girl that answered the phone said they put your feet in tubs. Disappointed about the false advertising, as Ive been looking everywhere for a place that uses the steam towels like my old Aveda salon in Iowa did.Edit: I received a call back explaining they use hot towels during part of the experience to take off a mud mask thats applied during the service. I greatly appreciated the friendly customer service.

Shauna Cooper has been doing my hair for 13 years! I wouldnt go to anyone else. She listens to my ask. Executes the hair style and color i want, EVERY TIME PERFECTLY. Shauna is very fast and efficient. Im not sitting in a salon all day, which is important when you are a busy mom! Thanks Shauna!

Amazing covid transformation!

Gave it a couple days and still not too happy with the results. Didnt style hair after cut and color as she had others waiting she wanted to get to. My daughter kept saying why doesnt it look like the picture, I wanted It to be done when I left not to have to figure out how to style it. So its not the result we wanted and paid quite a bit for. The stylist was kind and professional. I think she just ran out of time for us.

Years ago (2008/2009) I purchased a bundle/package with my friend. I loved the services. But, what I especially loved was Shawna and her skills and talent. I was officially her first client. Even after I finished with the package deal, I went back and specifically requested Shawna. She cut and styled my hair differently each time with such ease. I loved it each time. I even went to her when I decided to shave my hair off for the first time (They donated my long locks to Locks of Love). AND, I lived in LA County at the time.Now, years later (and living in Vegas), I frantically looked for this salon in the hopes that my daughter will get her first hair cut with Shawna.BTW, other than one time out of time and convenience, no one else has touched my hair. I will now be willing to make the trip for my daughter (and me) to have only the best, Shawna. 😄

I had a wonderful experience. I was offered something to drink, professional advice, a Scalp massage, shampoo, conditioner, hair cut/style, and blow dry and since it was my first visit I got 20% off as well. Wonderful environment and very clean. I will be returning to this Salon & Spa.

I drive almost 90 miles one way to have my hair done by Shauna Conroy! Best stylist and colorist, ever. Three generations of my family visit Shauna on a regular basis. Nice atmosphere, warm, friendly people, great clientele (male and female), and great Aveda products. Roz and Dan (owners) are talented stylists and delightful people. Wonderful skin care products and services. I feel like I am home when I am there. I relax and let them take care of me. Honestly, wish I was there right now!

This spa is very relaxing. The place is small and intimate. The staff was great. It took a little bit of time to get an appointment but it was worth the wait. This was a lovely experience and the aveda products are awesome!

This is by far the best salon I have ever been to! The stylists are talented, professional and they listen and ask questions to discover what you want. The stylists will, also, let you know if the style that you are asking for will work or not with your hair. This was a find! 😊

I started with a massage by Theresa. She was excellent, taking time (off the clock) to talk to me about my expectations and any problem areas. Ive had numerous deep-tissue massages and this was one of the very best. She was trained as a nurse and her knowledge shows. It was amazing how much better my body felt when the massage was over - it was as though she knew where every tight muscle was! I then slipped on a robe and headed for the facial area where Shauna was set to do eyebrow shaping, eyebrow and eyelash tint, and facial. Eyebrow tints are hard to get right, and she blended exactly the right color. I chose the Green Science anti-aging facial and it was perfect. I could actually see and feel the positive impact the facial had on my skin. In addition to the professional competence of Theresa and Shauna, the entire staff treats you like a valued guest and not simply a paying customer. Im new to La Mesa and Pret-a-Porter Salon and Spa is one of the best discoveries Ive made!

Got a haircut there and I have to say, I love it. My hair is very curly and not easy to manipulate but they Shauna and her mom did a great job. I will definitely be back.Nat Z

I have been coming to Shauna at Pret-a-Porter since 2005. Shes an amazing stylist. I always leave looking great. She recently did my hair and make-up for my wedding and everything looked great 9 hours later. I didnt have to worry about how I looked all night long. Thanks Shauna.

Love the salon, the products are superb and service excellent. I want to try ALL of their services but so far have only been in for a few hair styling/cuts. Each time was a great experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My stylist is Dan but I have heard good things about all of their stylists. Good location for me and reasonable prices. They also offer great discounts on certain days of the week...last minute appointments. Great idea.

I have been going to Pret a Porter for over 10 years. I love the relaxed atmosphere and am treated like a princess by the staff. Iced tea, hand massage and friendly conversation. My stylist, Roz, is wonderful. She is an expert colorist and styles my hair that I consistently receive compliments for. Highly recommend this salon and Aveda products.

Luckily , on a whim I walked into Pret a Porter Salon about 3 years ago, got an appointment with Dan and have been delighted with his great, artistic, flattering cuts. I have been to MANY stylists in the San Diego area, but Dan is the last one. He gives a great head/neck massage before the cut, takes his time with the cut and always gives a lovely finished style. I always get complements on my hair......need I say more?

Im a commercial electrician and I havent had a massage in years but my wife bought me a 1 hour full body massage. My massage therapist was Teresa and shes great. The best massage Ive ever had. I will be going back here again. Im now a customer for life.

I have been going here for about five years now and I love it!! Theyre nail services are great and their hair services are fantastic! I have even had my eye lashes dyed here and they did a great job. The costumer service is excellent as well. Most definitely recommend!

I found the Salon at my first visit in March 2015, very clean & inviting and was impressed by the professional treatment of the customers by the staff. I give full marks to the staff listening to the customer needs patiently and attentively and presume that the customers leave the salon satisfied. I for one was quite satisfied with the hair styling and also with the discussion on how to improve the styling better next time. I will return there for my hair styling and hope that those who want polite and at the same time cheery and professional staff should give the salon a try.

Olivia is a wonderful, caring therapist. I have the biggest knots in my shoulders and she uses hot stones and just works on them until they loosen. What a great massage!

I have never gotten so many complements on my hair in my life!!!!! Dan transformed my look with incredible color and cut!!! My friends say I look 10 years younger and strangers stop me and tell me that they were compelled to tell me what a beautiful color and how fluidly my hair moved in the breeze (absolute truth!)

I had been to many other places before hand and its the Best Salon in San Diego area that I have visited.

As a client in my own salon and spa, I can say that I so enjoy getting a fabulous massage from Theresa, a weekly Shellak or manicure and pedicure from Alva or Christine, my hair color and cut done by any of the stylists, and wonderful facials and waxing from Diana. Theres a lot of maintenance that needs to be done at 55!It is such a pleasure to work with such a well trained team of professionals! I highly recommend that you give them a try:)

Ive been going to the salon for over 2 years now and love it there. My last visit was a 90 minute massage with Tanesha. She is by far the best massage therapist that I have ever been to. She is a very caring therapist and really understands what her clients need. I was very sad to hear that she was leaving the salon and wish she wasnt going. I will continue to have my hair done there with Emmy, but it wont be the same with Tanesha gone.

Her salon/spa is relaxing and the staff are talented, ultimate professionals with weekly training on new trends and techniques, keeping them all at the top of their game. Im more impressed with the talent at Preta Porta Salon & Spa each time I go in for their services. Not only do I have my hair done there regularly, but Ive also enjoyed the spa services as well: waxing, pedicures, massage... a must!
