I took the 8:30am step class and it was really enjoyable. Only my second time back to the gym and I really missed step. The instructor was great and the music was on point and the staff was very friendly. Definitely will be coming back Friday mornings.

This gym location has its pros and cons. I have not had an issue with staff members, as far as I know. This is written on the 3rd reopening of gyms.The equipments are out of date and heavily abused. The layout of the machines is completely at different ends of the building. The upper body workout machines are the ones closest to the entrance or their office. While the lower body workout machines are towards the center left of the entrance. Then the rest of the equipments are at the back in a very small cramped area. It is completely cramped and not a lot of equipments to go around. There are too many treadmills and the center is completely taken by the staff training area, which not many people use anyways. There are no water bottle fountains, so bring your own jug of water. Generally, the gym is okay. Not the best place to go to in my honest opinion. I spent more time walking to machines than doing my workouts. THOUGH, the squat racks are great and up to date.Overall, this gym location could use some new machines or refurbished the whole gym itself. It needs a whole new revamp. So it is okay for what it is, just as long you are okay with it.EDIT: Sanitary stations are far apart and some have towels dispensary. There are no bottle fillers. The gym is always warm and humid inside; I doubt the AC works. Best times to come here is early in the morning.

The place is not very clean. They need to seriously work on that. I tried to cancel my membership and you have to go in person. I have never heard of that. So don’t get sick or Covid and try to cancel.

While Im glad gyms are reopened, I was sad to see so many still not wearing masks properly. I even had to remind one of the personal trainers. Sad to see so many can lift weights but cant lift their masks. Who knew their weakness was simply covering their nose and mouth? 🤷‍♂️

This location is closest to my residence so I frequent it - over 8yrs. However, out of all the locations I visit this is the only one with poor air conditioning and frequent spa problems. This is one of the busiest locations yet it is not the best. The location about 4miles west of it on Imperial is better kept and well air conditioned. I sincerely hope this location improves.

Great gym with all the bells and whistles... they have both a steam room and suana... talk about fancy.

The back half of the gym feels like a sauna. The air conditioning has been out for at least 3 months and they have not bothered to fix it. The staff keep saying that they have received many complaints and that they are aware of the problem but have not fixed it. Esporta is owned by LA Fitness and there have been problems with the Air conditioning unit at this gym location every summer for the last 4 years of so, and management has not fixed this! Management does not care about the members and probably has not fixed the air conditioning unit in order to save money. The air conditioning in the front of the gym where the staff sits works okay but it is very hot in the rest of the gym. Also if you take a tour of the gym and are not exercising it might not feel too hot but as soon as you start to do a little bit of exercise you will feel super hot within minutes. This place is a sweat box.

I like the gym very much. Friendly and Helpful staff. Just want to say thank you to Anthony, Bryan and Sal for helping me out and making my experience there wonderful.

Much better upgrades.I was almost going to start a CrossFit gym but the EXPANDED their equipment to include Rogue cross/TRX to all members. I need swimming and the pool is great. Staffers are great. Front counter Staff and mgmt very rude.They dont even greet you when entering and ignore you when you leave.They seem to have the attitude that they are doing us a favor to be a member.

Weights area is a little cramped but facilities are generally clean. Basketball court has a nice sitting area and handball courts are a plus.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!! I had a membership with LA Fitness and signed up for what I believed to be a set amount of personal training sessions. During the closure for COVID the transition to Esporta Fitness happened and I wasn’t sure what to expect. My personal training expired (so I thought) until I noticed a not so small charge to my account. I thought it would be an easy fix so I attempted to call the gym. This was the first hurdle. No one answered at first and when I tried to call a customer service line, no in person contact was available. I finally was able to get through to someone a couple days later and they informed me that I would have to come in person to get a refund. When I did, I waited for almost an hour to see a manager who then said I would not get a refund because I failed to come in person to cancel the personal training (during COVID). The manager also said they are unable to approve refunds and I would be contacted by someone. That was almost two months ago. Still have not heard from anyone and this is after also sending an email to customer service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GYM!!

Many new improvements that really utilize the space within the gym efficiently, with equipment that is affective for every level of fitness.Gym is kept clean inside, and they strictly enforce proper mask wearing and prescreening prior to entrance. They also enforce a strict capacity of members inside, so expect to make line outside. Wait time can vary depending on time of day.

Impressed with the way they are helping to protect their clients...wearing of masks and they have someone walking around to make sure all are keeping mask on, limited number of people in gym and constant cleaning of machines...didnt like standing in line to get in but this is a sign of our times..

Stuffs Disturbing customers.I go to the gym with my friend to workout together,A trainer came up to ours said I was a trainer and trainings my friend as a client. Basically he warned us we cant work out together.... My friend felt disrespected and tried to speak to the manager then again dismissed and accused as a training client. I feel so disrespect and unwelcome and After this incident.

Staff is very professional, they do a good job maintaining low capacity in the gym due to covid.They have disinfecting sprays all over.There is a 30 to 40 min wait to get it but considering the circumstances its not that bad of a wait.

Great local gym, has cardio, weight room, machine weights, cardio classes, pool, and green field for plyometrics. I like using the punching bags. They have a sanitizing area for anyone to use. There are staff cleaning at all times. Everyone I have seen had a mask on.

This is a decent LA Fitness. They tend to keep up with replenishing paper towels, keep the floor reasonably clean, and have enough equipment to meet customer needs. The bathrooms, showers, and locker rooms arent particularly neat.

Horrible customer service. Trap you into contracts you cant get out of and wont refund. Do not go here!

The only gym that locks their cables so it’s impossible to use different attachments. Their attachments suck and they got rid of two more cable machines (what will George do now)for a ridiculous turf field. Go to another gym if you like to workout, come here if you want to play in the grass.

Went to a kids party here and really enjoyed it. Liked their indoor soccer fields, their hockey rinks, and also their basketball courts. Kids enjoyed the soccer sessions and the staff were very nice and helpful.Good for kids and adults.

I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was a member about 10 years ago and had started going to th Y instead because it was closer.I wanted to relearn how to go about using the equipment, revise my diet and lose 15 to 20 lbs. I didn’t think the Y was going to be the right place for it. The energy level at the Y is too low and I wasn’t a big fan of their trainers.I started the first visit with Hugo to work with a trainer. My trainer going forward would be Ryan, once a week. That was four months ago. My schedule and travel is hectic this time of year but Ryan worked with me and I had Kelsey and Edgar as substitutes. Each of them is very special and do a great job guiding and explaining.I’ve been very pleased with everyone there. Even the ladies at the reception area are really nice. Probably have no clue who I am but they greet me like a friend.

Someone needs to please clean the basketball courts . Ive been going to this gym for more then 3 years now and we the Members pay good money for a clean gym .

The fitness equipment is pretty good, but BEWARE OF THE WATER in the drinking fountains! BRING YOUR OWN WATER, PEOPLE! The water in the drinking fountains is contaminated with metals or something that taste terrible and make you want to vomit.

The pool is pretty gross and hardly kept clean. The Girls Locker needs frequenting by the maintenance staff. Showers are not kept clean and the building as a whole needs maintaining. I only come here for running and weights because its the closest and most convenient in the evenings. For the pool, Im definitely going to a different LA Fitness. Been to the one in Whittier and that one is always kept clean.

Good local gym that has clean machines. Very busy at prime hours (5-7). Machines are generally in good conditions. Not using the locker room nor the shower much; so not experience to comment on that yet.

Long lines to get in. the wife n I avg about 40 min when we go around 1130am. they DO NOT TURN THE AC ON in the main cardio room.

Terrible customer service. They have definitely not properly train their customer service people. LA fitness corporate’s customer service is horrendous too, so probably they are not even trained. Even though they have some good instructors, it’s not worth it. Sales reps make a lot of promises, then leave and promises are broken. If you relocate to an area that doesn’t have a la fitness gym they will not help you, they charge you to put your membership on hold even if you had a terrible injury. Check 24 hour fitness it’s a little more pricey but customer service it’s way better.

The club is well kept. I usually visit off peak hours so i never have to wait for machines. I would give it a 5 but its hot in there. Cardio section needs ceiling fans or turn up the air.

Almost five stars, but they still wont (years) use a simple DAMP cloth to wipe clean the dirty court floors once a day. Its what the court manufactures recommend!

Love all the different equipment here. Even when its busy there is always some machine or something free to work out a certain body part. Staff is very friendly as well.

This gym is Awesome why do I say that, well because this Is the only gym I can find that actually cares about their equipment. They are quick to fix any faulty equipment and they have recently Remodeled the entire place. One thing to mention is there is no WiFi but Management has said in 2018 they will provide. Best time to go is after 10:30 AM, I find less people mean more available equipment.

They did an awesome job remodeling this gym. Brand new flooring walls with new paint. All brand new equipment intelligent lay out of equipment. Love the fact they have arm bike there as well.

Been here for a few weeks and found out their was a problem with my account. When I signed up I was told they would include an option to bring in two guests for free every visit. After three weeks of enjoying this option I find out I dont have that option and am told in front of employees and customers by the operations manager that my wife can not work out. Steve has zero customer service skills and has forgot how to treat the people that are paying his salary. After leaving we cleared everything up with another location and now have the bring a guest option.

Clean gym. Staffs are friendly. However, their Steam sauna brakes down almost once every two months and they take forever fixing it. This time, its been broken for over 3 weeks and still not fixed. When I asked, they blamed the door did not arrive. Rumor says that they close down the steam room to save electricity.

Too hot in this gym too often. Also, the pool air chokes you with chlorine and humidity. I cant be in that area for more than a minute. Wish they would turn on the air and change the ventilation in the pool area.

Worst gym I ever enrolled for. Be prepared to be charged way extra than they explain you at enrollment. The staff is only there to help people who buy additional packages from them.Now as on to equipment or facilities, pool is dirty or smells most of the times. Washrooms and changing rooms are never clean.

The gym is pretty old and the majority of the equipment is dirty. There was new flooring put in, but they should have purchased better equipment. They also close pretty early on the weekends so if you work weekends like i do you cant count on them to be open. They have also closed early on random days, which I feel is for them to go party or something because it wasnt on holidays.

One of the worst LAFitness gyms Ive been too..The work out set up is uncomfortable, is weird like the people that work out here. Never seen someone brushing their teeth while using number 2, yes numero dos!!! Just reaching the mens locker room is a mission, pass juice bar, mix weird work out area, pool, 50 doors with alarms, right, left, up, down and another left, left, right??? Im fking confused. When you reach the janitor closet make a left.. Ayyy no!!!! Im done!!!

Been going there for 15+ years. I have all clubs membership because I work out of town a lot. I dont go at peak hours, dont like crowds. I rarely have to wait for machines. Classes are ok, sometimes I go to the other local gyms to fit my schedule. Train with Brandon, a good knowledgeable guy. Its fine.

I love the Zumba Class with William ...I go to his Zumba Class in La Fitness in Whittier... but now that i know he is here in La Habra love it !! !his Zumba class is Awesome!!!Love the remodeled New machines !!! Great Job !!!

Pool is closed more then half the year going on 3 years now. Always some new excuse, and always closed 4 times longer then promised every time. The new management seems to be alittle nicer but still cant get the job done.

Dirtiest LA fitness Ive been to. And from LA, IE and OC Ive been to about 10. The sauna is very dirty and does not get hot at all so it gets crowded and takes to much time to get a good sweat. Only one of two heaters has worked for the past 5 months in the sauna. Pool was closed for about 5 months aswell. Overall sanitation in bathrooms, Training areas and whole facilities in below average.

DO NOT USE THIS GYM!!!This gym is constantly oversold, dirty, and the management could careless about its clients. I had a personal training there, more than half of the time while I was being trained my trainer and myself were looming for open equipment to train on due to them being oversold. My trainer left and and after that I was left competent hanging out in the wind. I was given appointments to training and no trainer showed up, than I told them I wanted to cancel because of the horrible service and they refused to.Stay away from this gym, they will try to get you into a contract that they cannot fulfill and once you want to cancel due to the horrible service they will try to keep you in it.

Wonderful staff, but racquetball courts are not maintained (cleaned, waxed, repaired) very well. AC in courts are also spotty.

This gym has the worst customer service. I have been an LA Fitness member for almost 15 years and Ive never had such a poor experience.. Today I was outraged by the general manager of the Santa Fe Springs LA Fitness the GM Jose approache my son and his cousins n asked them to stop working out together. Citing that my son was illegally coaching and it was not allowed at LA Fitness what a joke! Since when can you not go to the gym with a workout partner and give each other tips?!I believe Jose was on some sort of Power Trip.. offered no resolution to the the issue he would not allow my son and my nephews to continue to work out I am just beyond words livid!!! The whole time he sat there with his condescending attitude and pretty much laughed at us I dont accept that and I demand a full apology from him to not only myself my son my sister and my nephews were with!!!!Jose who should absolutely NOT be in customer service or manager was absolutely ridiculous he Not only was he rude he was condescending and he had the audacity to kick us out for working out in a group I am outraged!!! Im calling corporate !! . Not only myself but my family members are each going to file a complaint against him and LA Fitness I believe weve been a victim of discrimination.I have never felt so infuriated and All My Life by someone who has no customer skill set.Instead of pulling my son aside and asking him to leave he could have came up to him and and talk to him and say give him some sort of warning but he did not instead he chose to ask us to leave which is absolutely outrageous

Due to COVID-19, the gym closed for 3months. They charged a week before closure, a week after the reopening, and two weeks after the last monthly payment. Its how they make money amid the unprecedented pandemic.

Alrhogh it doesnt have as much equipment I like that the time I typically go, it is never crowded. Was recently remodeled and is very nice.

I like the water temperature at this la fitness in La Habra. The staffs there are nice and I always can use the exercise machine such as treadmills, cycling, swimming pool is soooo good. It does not over load of people in the club for anytime I come except the time there is classes at the swimming pool. I love the water temperature there. I highly recommend this club.

I was unable to stretch until I took 4 yoga classes. Now Im limber and can touch my toes and the floor.

The management here has been and always will be garbage. they NEVER have basketballs because they dont employ a logically reasonable collateral system because apparently that is too difficult for these worthless lazy degenerates.when asking one of the available degenerates if he would kindly employ a reasonable collateral system, the sad clown... (will find his nametag soon) smiles through his fake mask and casually continues about his hopelessly lazy existence as a worthless individual.the equipment is never well organized. no one routinely sweeps the basketball courts.it is absolutely hilarious the negligence by which the management here operates.every single employee here would be replaced by a more reasonable employer.

Multiple times my locker was broken into and stuff including my car was stolen. The gym never put up any notices to warn the other members about what happened after my incidence. The way they handled everything was very poorly.
