Review №1

The best doctor in the world for me, always with good humor, I carry my intrahepatic cholestasis in my two pregnancies, an unknown condition for many doctors but he knew how to help me with that, he received my first daughter in whittier hospital, I have my control of my two pregnancies ... I can only say good things about him, I infinitely thank him for his care and attention, excellent doctor and human being ... I remember him with a lot of love always

I absolutely love Dr. Arman....he is the best OB/GYN I have seen...he delivered all 3 of my children and super caring...he goes gone above and beyond for his patients and really takes the time to explain health conditions and procedures. I will truly miss him dearly the day he retires.

Review №3

Went in for more info on birth control because I am considering on switching from the mini pill. Dr. Arman came in and asked if I had been taking it and I said no because I’ve been forgetting to take it which is why I decided to switch my method. There was an awkward silence and in his face I could see judgment and he asked “are you still breastfeeding?” To which I answered “yes,” he then asked how old my son was and I said 8 1/2 months. More silence and said “I strongly recommend in my personal opinion to stop breastfeeding because it is psychologically damaging your child because he will become more dependant of you and it will become harder for him to detach from you. And that only affects them, it just makes it harder for them as they get older. So I stongly recommend to stop. Im not a pediatrician but it is not recommended to breastfeed past 8 months because kids will not get nutrion from breast milk they just do it to soothe themselves.” I was shocked at everything he said. If I didn’t know better I would have second guessed myself and probably stopped breastfeeding my child. But I know that what he said is not true. He is a medical professional and for him to advice on something else that is not his specialty it is very unethical especially giving personal advice and not medical. He then proceeded to ask if I’ve had unprotected sex since I had been forgetting to take the pill and I said yes. There was silence again. And asked if I’d been using condoms at least to which I said no. I am a grown woman and it’s my choice whether to use or not to use protection with my husband. So we spoke about IUD and he answered some questions. We were finished with the appointment and I was getting ready to leave when he tells me “In my personal opinion, I strongly recommend to start weaning him off of breastfeeding and use condoms” he is in no place to give me that sort of advice. It is my own personal choice to use protection or not and to decide when to stop breastfeeding. I was there to ask about IUD not to be told to stop breastfeeding my child and to use condoms.
