I actually went to J&A for a second opinion. I hadnt questioned that I needed work but the price tag of my current dentist had gotten astronomical. Before I spent any more money, I wanted another expert to tell me what treatment plan they felt was needed and an estimate of costs.The appointment process and check in was so friendly and yet still professional. Everyone seemed genuine. This held over to the dental assistant and Dr. Colin. The process was thorough and organized. He covered the issues he saw, discussed immediate concerns and future watch-outs. I normally get anxious at dental visits but this was very low key and comfortable.The visit finale was their office manager discussing costs with me. I have no insurance so usually its crushing. Imagine my surprise to find out how reasonable it was for the services I need.I was so impressed with the entire visit that I scheduled an appointment. If you are looking for a low-key, well run office with reasonable fees, this is the place.

Ive been to J&A 3 times now. All 3 were just cleanings...always professional, they do a thorough job. the last time I went, a couple of days ago, they found some fractures on one of my teeth. I thought it was going to be in the thousands to fix...turns out its not even a thousand. so I was happy about that. Im going to stick with J&A for quite some time. Im very happy with their services.

I was in need of a tooth pulled. Called an received an appointment right away. It was only gonna cost $1 to get a estimate. The price was fair, an we handled it right away. I had Dr Huq (sounds like hook!) I do believe, an he was amazing! First time in my life, the shots weren’t bad, an he got the job done in a blink. Very clean an comfortable place to be. Ive been here a few times times now and Ive had nothing but good experiences here. The staff has been amazing, the atmosphere is modern but relaxed, and their use of technology made my treatment plan easy for me to follow and understand. Theyre even open at hours that work better with my own hours then most places Ive looked at. They were also willing to work with me through a somewhat difficult situation I had today. The fact is, I have shy veins. Because of that when Ive needed to get blood draw or IVs done in the past it could be both painful and a process. I needed an IV for my wisdom teeth removal today and my veins were no easier to find this time around. Despite the very real difficulty my shy veins presented the anesthesiologist, my experience with him was easily one of the gentlest Ive ever had. I was honestly impressed.

My 15 year old was terrified of dentist appointments due to a bad experience she had in the past and refused to go for over 2 years. I recently had my wisdom teeth removed with this dental office and they were amazing. J&A has been a God send to me, my family, and my friends. The staff is super nice, extremely talented, and very passionate about doing what needs to be done. What really made the difference for me was the cost. Even though they have all the newest technologies, they didnt overcharge. No place else would have done everything I needed in two visits, for what it cost. At first, I thought they made a mistake. Lol I was so impressed, I sent my son (26) he is very sensitive to pain, and stubborn. And believe me, he needed help. Wow! What a difference they made in his life. He even booked and kept his follow-up appointments. Anyone I hear saying..I need to go to the dentist, but I cant afford it, or are worried about pain.. I had been in an immense amount of pain when I went to J &A. I have never been so excited to get a root canal, lol!! But it was a very positive experience. Very professional, but friendly. They patiently answered all my questions, didnt rush, gave me breaks when I needed it. Kept me informed on each step. Even though I have other teeth that still need some work, they didnt push to try and get it all done at once. Respecting my decision to go at my pace. Best of all, UNbelievably, I had almost NO pain the next day!! I was a bit sore, but nothing like Ive experienced in the past from other work Ive had done. HIGHLY Recommend them.

I was there for my second and final cleaning. And I’m just saying I’m not coming back. Jennifer Z. Was great she is a really sweet person. The problem was the guy who give me the anesthesia... he acts like a butcher! No matter how many time I said hurts!!! He just don’t stop. The way he apply the injection is so so painful. The sore the pain supposed to go away in 2 hours, I have my cleaning at 12, was 11 pm and I still can’t chew anything. I woke up this morning and still have pain on my gums. The cleaning was good, the problem is all my gums where this guy apply the anesthesia.

I was impressed in how fast they were able to get me in. Very nice and friendly.

I went in to get my tooth pulled and the whole process went real smoothly and real quickly I was in and out in no time didnt even feel any pain and was happy with the whole experience

I had explained in detail that my gum was open after a recent tooth extraction which had been done at another clinic and that my sinus was getting infected. Basically explaining that there was an open hole from my gum into the sinus cavity. After the exam they told me that they do not do that type of repair. Although I had to reschedule with an alternative specialist I will revisit J&A for other dental needs. Their pricing is fair and staff are kind. Facilities are modern and comfortable.

They were extremely fast! I was in there at 2 for a root canal and crown fitting and was out by 2:30. The doctor and his assistant were extremely polite. They were great and I am very happy with their services.

After breaking a bunch of my front teeth out in a bicycle accident as a child I have spent my fair share of time at different dentist practices over the years. Today was my first visit to J&A and I had a top notch experience compared to other offices in the past. Everybody was incredibly pleasant and scheduling etc couldnt have been easier. Prices so far have been super reasonable and clear to understand. My DH Jennifer who deep cleaned my teeth was super thorough, kind, and gentle making what used to be a very painful service for me almost painless. Looking forward to finally having a long term relationship with this practice after bouncing from place to place around Austin for the last 10 years for dental services.

Doctor talked about my teeth to the assistant and not directly to me. I feel he would’ve left the trim with out actually speaking to me. Once I asked him a question he was helpful but very quick. There online scheduling is a tad confusing. I thought I was gonna get a exam And cleaning but ended up only with a 10 min exam while I was there for a hour. There prices are pretty expensive. I live about a hour away from this office and dentist in my area offering the same treatments are half the price. I wish I had a better experience there.

I found this amazing dental office a few months back, when I needed a second opinion. Their opinion was a better option for me compared to the other office I was using. Ive enjoyed their office staff and the service ever since. This go round I brought my daughter in for her check up and cleaning and she really enjoyed it and said it was fun. This was music to my ears because I have had anxiety with dentist for some time and I do not want that for her. I want her to enjoy it and to look at it just like she looks at her medical check ups. I am so glad to have found J & A. Next is getting my sister to switch over to this amazing office. :-)

J&A was very attentive when I called for an appointment. All if the paperwork was done online. The knew what my insurance coverage was before I got my appointment. EVERYONE in this dentist office wa great. They gave me all the options for what I needed done and overcame my dread of dental work. My appointment could not have gone better!

Positive experience all around. I went in for a new patient exam and the care was thorough and staff were both friendly and informative. I specifically appreciated the admin staff working through some insurance questions while I was there.

My 8 year-old was very difficult, but the hygienist was so gentle and patient. We had a great experience and my child came home and reported that she can’t wait to go back!

To my shame, I hadnt been to the dentist for about 5 years. We moves from the Northeast and my dentist there was awesome. He set a high bar.I just picked J&A because of a mailer. But I figured that it couldnt be that bad. Well, it was great! The team was very thorough, starting with the assistant Juan who now knows my mouth better than my wife :-). Xrays, pictures, images, what have you. He set the table for the hygienist Kimberley. She was fantastic in her exam and her explanations of each tooth and the scoring system. I am generally a high achiever, but failed most of this test. Thus, Kimberly and I will be becoming close friends as she roots (literally) around my mouth for two hours in March (sounds like a book!). She did do the standard polishing, which was welcome. Then I saw Dr. Colin for the closing. Thankfully, he didnt find any cavities, but showed me some places to keep an eye on. If he was dishonest, he could have tried to get me to re-do old filings or remove something he thought was suspicious. But no, he was kind and honest.Sorry for the rant, but I am a happy mouth!

After Jennifer introduced herself as my Dental Hygienist she spent about an hour x-raying, photographing, and physically examining my entire oral cavity. I have never had such a through, non-rushed exam. During the entire time she was educating me on the various anomalies without any judgement or condemnation. Jennifer asked questions never asked by previous hygienists and went into more detail with all her instructions and explanations. I consider Jennifer my Gold Standard for Dental Hygienists and look forward to our continued collaboration maintaining my optimal oral health.

The entire staff was very friendly. Every procedure was explained. The dentist detailed what needed to be done and why. The financial person went over the cost. I was afraid it would be exorbitant, but it was very reasonable. In addition, the dentist said they would monitor one tooth which had a slight issue, but did not take advantage of me by including it.

What a great place to have dental work done! I have a phobia about going to the dentist so it takes a lot for me to be calm and comfortable. I had 4 fillings and didnt feel a thing, not even the numbing shots. It was quick and easy. If youre uneasy about going to the dentist, you no longer have to put it off. Needed some dental work done along with teeth cleaning. Ryan did the X-ray and took all the pics of my teeth. She then got Dr. Hoq to go over the necessary treatments. Went to another dental place prior to going to D&A Dental, who by the way is located in Kyle, Texas, and all they said was I needed a couple of caps on my teeth, gums were receding, had a cavity, blah, blah, blah....health of my teeth was never, ever discussed. Looking back in hindsight now they were pathetic. And I even made them lumpia! Filipino egg rolls, which they loved by the way. I would recommend D&A Dental to anyone looking for a family or individual dentist. I already recommended them to a friend yesterday. Keep up the awesome work Ryan and Dr. Hoq, as well as the staff. The building is bright clean and well maintained, new dental equipment, large TVs, ahead of you and above.
