I asked for a specific test when scheduling my appointment for this morning and when I arrived I was told they cannot offer this test. So my problem is the lack of active listening on the receptionists end.I would like to to also share my experience earlier this year. My daughter had a swollen gland on her jaw. The Kuna Clinic was booked so my husband had to take her to the meridian office. The doctor gave a list of what it could be and said if it didnt go away then to bring her back. It continued to be a problem so we brought her back to the Kuna Clinic. Well, we pretty much got the same result and left with empty knowledge. I will add I paid 120.00 for each visit. So finally I brought her to Primary Health the doctor knew instantly what was wrong. A clogged submandibular gland. He prescribed and antibiotic and suggested she sucks on sour candy and the problem was solved. I will add that visit was 170.00.So as you can imagine, we arent thrilled about paying a total 410.00 in doctors visits to get an answer that seemed to come so easy to the 3rd physician at Primary Health in Kuna.I really hope that I dont receive a bill for an office visit for today. I should have been told when I informed the receptionist what my reason for what I wanted to been seen for then I should have been told it wasnt available and to look somewhere else. I agreed to pay for a service that i didnt know wasnt even an option

The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The physicians assistant was outstanding and listened very well to my concerns. She has scheduled me to have a blood test to help them understand what is going on in my system. I was very impressed with Kuna family medicine.Eddie Hoeksema

Dr Gerrish and her staff at family medicine are the best at treating your medical needs. She is so up to date with her knowledge and listens to you. I would recommend her to anybody

Usually leave feeling not taken care of or heard by the provider. Constantly repeating stuff that’s in my chart and talked about at length. Finding a new practice.

Im not usually one the leave negative comments, but we havent had the best experience here. In fact, my family has never been treated this way by a doctors office. My wife and my son used this clinic a couple of times when we first moved to the area. While the doctors and staff are generally nice sometimes they seem to pressed for time and can get agitated. I believe it is more of a policy problem. It is their policy when you come in for treatment that you may only be seen for up to two health concerns. My wife needed help for several things and was rushed through the appointment without addressing one of the things she was most concerned with. On another occasion my son had an appointment with their counselor and was refused at the appointment because we were considering primary health care with another group of doctors. My wife and son were kindly shown to the door. While the doctors and staff, I think, are caring, the policies and procedures are not.

They are always there to help no matter what, I’ve been going there for years and will continue to do so

Usually just refers you to the e.r. or a larger hospital because they dont have equipment, exclaimed they hate handling people with more than one issue when they walked into the waiting room. Difficult to trust or even think Ill get the treatment I need there so I just had to start avoiding it all together. Probably just a pill mill anyway.

I have gone here since 2004 and it used to be a pleasant experience but it has progressively gotten worse. Today was the last time going here. I waited 40 mins after my appointment time to be taken back then told the doctor was running more than an hour behind. After waiting another 30 mins I walked out. It would be nice to be more informed about the wait times and given the opportunity to reschedule instead of sitting and waiting and waiting again. The doctor should pay me!!!

My family and I have gone to Kuna Family Medical Clinic for almost 10 years now. They have taken wonderful care of us. They are friendly and do everything possible to fit us in when one of us gets sick. In fact, I credit Myrna with saving my life when she suspected years ago that I had cancer. Turns out, she was right and I am so thankful to be a survivor today!

I have always struggled with a condition but never addressed it. It has been over 10 years since my last doctor visit. I went to this doctor for a wellness check up to get a discount on my insurance. In this visit I finally expressed my concern, as it is impacting my life. Anastasia Milliron immediately discredited my concern with prejudice and refused to provide medical assistance. She made her diagnosis without asking a single probing question. She was insulting and insensitive. Also, she never addressed my high blood pressure.

They have always had horrible wait times. They change doctors and employees rather frequently so once one gets to know you’re situation it’s time to start all over. I’ve had numerous issues particularly in the Kuna clinic. I only stayed bc it was a convenient location. Today took the cake though I was scheduled for an appt today and when I went in they said I wasn’t on the schedule they were very unapologetic. I have to wait another week to get in and I’ve lost out a day of work bc they screwed up

All the providers at this clinic have listened to my concerns they really care

They are fast and usually a sliding scale for those without insurance

This gal Myrna is the worst practitioner I have ever met , non caring , rude , and insensitive to the patients , she gave our daughter the worst possible advice , we double checked with a couple of pediatricians , and she is not even close to what needed to be done , very bad place , do not take anyone you care about to this clinic , she amplified the currant problem to even worse circumstances .
