My husband and I recently moved to Kuna (from Fruitland), and needed to find a nearby optometrist because my prescription had obviously changed as it was getting difficult to see road signs and challenging to read anything (I kept moving whatever I was reading up and back to try and find just the right spot to make out the words with my cheap readers purchased at some drug store and/or online). Dr. Jonathan Hughes and the staff at Eyecare Associates were patient, very friendly, and answered my questions thoroughly. It was actually fun picking out nice frames with the assistance of the front office staff. The frames and prescription was a bit expensive, but I was used to buying cheap readers, and Eyecare Associates offers a buy one pair and the second pair is 50 percent off. ;0) Nice when you need a regular pair and a pair of sunglasses as well. Now, time to schedule my husband’s appointment. :0)

I found Eyecare Associates to be an outstanding service. I never got the feeling of being hurried through the process and everyone patiently listened to all of my concerns. The eye exam was thorough and complete. Dr. Oliver Mullins was professional in every way and provided helpful recommendations for a new style of prescription that makes a wonderful difference in the way I see whether I am outside, working on the computer, reading, or relaxing and watching TV. Alisa provided helpful and friendly advice to find just the right style of frame. They accepted VSP and prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend Eyecare Associates to anyone.

The staff was great and very friendly. Dr Mullins was very thorough as he worked to upgrade my Rx especially my mono vision contacts. Trying different powers for my changing right eye to see what works best. Awesome experience from beginning to end.

Top notch. Wonderful professionalism and friendliness all around. Made it easy to understand. Doctor Mullins was aceEDIT: Changed 5 stars to 3. Lady at eyeglasses desk up front was new. Badly scratched up both lenses of my only existing pair of prescription glasses when she took my them back to clean them. Dont know how Ill get this resolved but this is causing considerable discomfort to my eyes.EDIT 2: Just realized they didnt give me a copy of my new prescription. The whole reason for my appointment was an eye exam and to have my prescription updated. Kyle, front desk attendant, picked up the phone right away though and agreed to email it. This corrected the issue/oversight

Very friendly staff. They made me feel comfortable. Appreciated the explanations throughout the exam. Dr. Hagberg was thorough and personable. I actually enjoyed my appointment.

Eyecare Associates of Kuna is a great place to get exams and glasses. The optometrists are very knowledgeable and the staff were great, especially with my children. They were very patient and kind, as well as extremely helpful explaining about vision coverage, changes to our current prescription, glasses options available, etc. Their pricing is also great!

I am not big on giving reviews online. If I do it is for good reason.I am a long time contact lens wearer. When we moved from North Carolina (humid) to Boise (dry) I had huge issues with contact lenses and ended up going back to glasses. That is until I went to Eyecare Associates this year. Having to mask all the time in glasses is miserable due to fog on the lens and I was interested in going back to contacts, at least until Rona was over.Anyone who is familiar with contacts will tell ya. The eye-care office needs to have patience because it can be a drawn out process of trying a lens and waiting a week to see how it is working for you. The Dr and Staff here are amazing and was super patient with me while I made a choice. The end result a month later, I could not be happier with my contacts. Either I got acclimated to Boise or the staff here set me up with the right lens and care regime, I think it is a little of both.This is the only place I will be going to from now on and I am completely happy with their service and my purchase.

Eyecare Associates is such a wonderful office! Both the locations in Nampa and Kuna are exceptional. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Kristie, in Kuna, made sure I picked out a great pair of glasses that looked good - she flat out told me the frames that didnt work for my face, and I loved that!

My youngest daughter needed to an appointment to see an ophthalmologist after her pediatrician advised us that her eyes needed to be looked at. I called around and EYE CARE Associates of Kuna were the only ones that were willing to see her, it was during the beginning stages of COVID-19. Dr.Mullins is an amazing Dr and the front office staff were awesome as well. They made my daughter feel comfortable and at ease. She does not like things near her eyes and she is now wearing contacts!! Thank you so much Eyecare Associates of Kuna and Dr. Mullins.

Eyecare Associates may be fairly new to Kuna but Dr Mullins and his staff are excellent and professional when it comes to my familys eye care needs. Dr Mullins has gone the extra effort to make sure both my children have been taken care of along with making sure that eye appointments are an enjoyable experience. I have been to a lot of other eye doctors but Eyecare Associates and Dr Mullins have been the the best hands down.

I went in on Feb.12th to have an eye exam which was done very professionally by Dr. Mullins and to get some new glasses. It is now April 21st and I have not gotten my glasses due to the ineptness of the laboratories they use. The first set of was so far out of whack he had to do a new exam which was March 12 and the lab keeps coming with excuses why they cant get the glasses done right. Unfortunate that Ill have to go somewhere else as I want to keep the business local.

Having to switch eye doctors made me nervous because of the care i receieved at my last place BUT Dr Hughes and staff made it worth it! Amazing professionalism, knowledge and all around personable care!
