I have been to three different physical therapy establishments, not until I started at Tn Sports Medicine did I see what Physical Therapy really means. Not only is the building beautiful with all the plants Julie cares for but the equipment is extensive. Maggie with her gentle warm hands decided the therapy I needed for my total knee replacement and John had patience, knowledge and most of all encouragement. I have a new knee they taught me to walk with. Not only did they fix my knee but the expertise Caitlin showed in fitting me with my diabetic shoes was the final touch I needed for full recovery. What a great team I had. Thank you to all of you I am forever grateful.

My first visit was today. The PT did an excellent job diagnosing my back injury. He was very attentive and showed a genuine care for treating the issue. I already feel relief and confident the future visits will bring me back to 100%. The atmosphere was very friendly, great staff at front desk, clean space throughout, and I felt very comfortable during my entire visit.

I have been here many times. The Therapists that Ive had have been very knowledgeable. But if you arent going to do the exercises at home as instructed, dont waste their time.

They have done a great job with my 10 year old. Very nice, informative, and you can tell that they all love what they do. Very Impressed. 💓

This company is not very trustworthy when it comes to ordering additional orthotics (I was told there was a nominal fee for reordering orthotics)... I was very disappointed to find out that you have to go through their entire evaluation process every time you need to get a simple orthotic replaced...making the cost of the orthotic prohibitive in the first place...

They get my Diabetic shoes for me and they get the shoe to fit my feet perfect and Im going in May to get a new pair now

I cannot say enough about these wonderful individuals. They are incredibly knowledgeable and and use this knowledge in the most effective and caring way.

I have been going to TSM for the rehabilitation of two separate knee replacements. They make me feel better when I’m hurting and they push me when it’s time for that. There is a level of care from their employees that you rarely see and it has helped me recover completely. I am very pleased to have found them and I know you will be too!

TSMG Staff are all interested in serving clientele, I believe Ive observed, to the best of their abilities, are including all Ive met, from PTs to front desk staffers. Additionally, they generally stay on schedule - that is, I never have had to wait longer than 10-15 minutes past my appointment time, and the times I have had to wait briefly have been few over the total of the approximate 28 visits Ive had there. Im being seen at TSMG for assistance addressing chronic problems associated with idiopathic scoliosis, like leg-length difference, for the first 2-3 months, and now, for about 2 months, for very debilitating neck, shoulder and upper body discomfort related to the scoliosis, much of which has gotten worse progressively over the last 2 years, despite all my extensive efforts to mitigate the effects of the scoliosis using my own research and behavioral/habit improvements including past PT with a Schroth specialist.,Each of the PTs and PTAs have been very helpful, each benefitting my condition, which certainly has improved under TSMGs care, with their own particular special influences. However, by far, John Miller, PTA, is TSMGs star, the best in the bunch, because of what I believe is his studied development of what is perhaps his personal proclivity toward remaining curious, and this not occasionally or periodic, but throughout treatment of his client, coupled with his willingness to go beyond what would appear to be very adequate treatment, striving to understand what measures are functionally doable, looking for creative vision for himself and his clients with understanding, implementation and results being key. Ashley, another PTA, with whom I have worked about three times, has rather the same pattern of going beyond ordinary efforts and the usual means of treatment to cultivate palpable fluidity of relationship with her client, a trajectory indoes which Mr. John Miller, PTA, is a master. His skills have made a tremendous positive difference to my daily life; I am exceedingly thankful to have found him and to have received his disciplined attention and care. It takes a lot, no doubt, to deal with such as myself, an elderly inquisitive bodywork junkie who, after so many years of struggling with scoliosis and its attendant pain and other woes, often does not mind her manners, and Im grateful to all at TSMG for their efforts. But John Miller, PTA, is tops. Hes the Bees Knees.

My spouse chose to get his post-surgery therapy here. He switched to here after just a few visits with the the Ft. Sanders in house PT center. He is very please with the care he receives.

Professionals who take their jobs seriously, albeit on Southern flair

I took my 15 year old son there a few weeks ago. He has been trying to run cross country for a few years and has always suffered from terrible foot pain. The last time he was seen by his pediatrician for this - she told him to take a break from all sports.We were recently referred here by Dr. Heather Sandberg because he was in so much pain from trying to run.Jacob was our therapist and fitted my son for custom orthotics and recommended where to get good running shoes. Jacob ran in those orthotics the very next day and has been running 4-5 miles per day for the past two weeks with no pain at all.Apparently those custom orthotics were a Miracle Cure for my son and we are so thrilled!Highly recommend!!

Wonderful people and very knowledgeable. They helped me with my running form to resolve some patellar tendonitis and with a sprained ankle most recently.

They made Inserts for my shoes I wear a 9 and a 1/2 they made them 11 to 11 and a 1/2. Cant use them to big. But Ill pay the 100$ , and wont return.

I have been a client of Tennessee Sports Medicine Group for over 10 years. The staff is always eager to help me improve to the best of my abilities. With their large state of the art facility and gym, they have been able to develop a plan of therapy to fit my individual needs. When doing my evaluation, they have always asked me what my goals are for therapy. My goal is usually to have better flexibility and improved movement. Tennessee Sports Medicine Group is like a big family and Im glad I am part of the family.

I am able to perform normal daily activities again!!The top notch care, and detailed, effective physical therapy plan this team provided helped to restore my strength and range of motion following major shoulder surgery.I had a large, full-thickness, rotator cuff tendon tear this February that left me unable to perform my job, or even lift, or use my arm.As a health care professional myself, I understood the details and timing of their methods for rehabilitation.This is not an easy surgery, and the recovery takes months of careful, gradual steps. These guys are professionals!And I actually looked forward to going...The caring and fun staff and cheerful atmosphere made it a pleasure.I also loved the large, open rooms with high ceilings and skylights, the decor, the wide variety of excercise equipment and most current diagnostic tools, and the whole-body approach to recovery.I enjoyed seeing a wide range of clients being helped... post-op, post-injury, stroke recovery, athletes... all ages, from children and teenagers, to active adults, to elderly.A very caring practice that I would highly recommend!

This place is wonderful. My day felt so much better after her adjustment. We have tried everything and this seemed to be the trick.

I am a 3 year Breast Cancer Survivor! I have had to wear the Lymphodema sleeve for the last 2 years. The constant heaviness and ache I felt in my right arm drove me crazy. Also, wearing the compression sleeve was a thorn in my side, even though it did help with the pain. However, once I started going to Dr. Bert/Danielle and Patrick, I have not had to wear my compression sleeve. There is no way I can express how grateful I am to each of these people. All I can say is that you are a Prayer Answered!!!!!! Thank you!

I had chronic back pain for 25 year with many years of setbacks and finally found a team of experts that can diagnose symptoms and get to the root of the problem without the threat of surgery. Due to an inappropriate comment by a physical therapist, I was uncomfortable and discontinued my rehabilitation at TSMG.

After completing two rounds of physical therapy at another facility without relief, my oldest son received treatment here a year and a half ago. From initial diagnosis/planning until discharge the level of personal care and detail far surpassed what he experienced at the first facility. This is not cookie cutter treatment. Since then, the other three members of our family have received care here as well. My youngest son has completed care which included orthotics. My husband is in the middle of treatment for a shoulder issue and I am nearing the end of treatment for a wrist injury. The high level of personal care remains consistent. The friendly, professional, and knowledgeable staff work well together. Not only do they provide superior care but they provide it a warm, fun, and welcoming environment.

All of the staff at TN sports medicine are friendly and helpful. Dr. Burt is a great chiropractor who really knows his stuff. I am writing this review to really talk about Kenny Baker, who does training, massage, and more as part of TSM. His breadth of knowledge is unparalleled and he has given me the best massages Ive ever had by far. Id recommend anyone who wants to grow stronger, heal their body, and feel happier to schedule an appointment with Kenny!

I am on my third time for therapy with TSM. This time total hip replacement. As usual there is no other place to go for getting yourself back to the gym and all the physical things in life. Thanks to Ryan, Stephanie, Aaron, Steven, Ian, Jeff, Kyle and especially Jon Lily for getting these muscle working with the prosthetic hip. Ive been to lots of physical therapy and they were only concentrated on getting you to do daily duties NOT hiking, biking, running, weight lifting etc. TSM puts you back in the game and do total hands on, they also give you all the tools to go above and beyond just one body part, but helping make the body work in concert so it supports that part.

Terrible billing department. 18 months after service and still getting billed. Multiple calls between their billing dapartment and insurance a year ago and I thought everything was paid in full. No activity from billing for a year and them hit up for another $120 expecting me to cough it up like they have their documentation together.

After the folks at Tennessee Sports Medicine / Square One working with me through 3 painful hours I can finally walk normal and my pain is now manageable. These guys go above and beyond every time they work with me. I cannot express my gratitude enough for Dr. Carlson an my PT team. Reversing 10 years of damage is difficult and takes time but for the first time I know Im on the right track.
