So much more than a massageI wish I could give Down to Earth Massage + Wellness 10 stars instead of 5. Rob has been my massage therapist for almost a year now. I usually come in every 2-3 weeks for 1-1.5 hours, and every single time, I leave feeling amazing- physically and mentally. Rob is *so* talented and knows exactly how much pressure is appropriate for my body on any given day. Got a massage appointment as a birthday gift. Ive never had a massage before and this was an amazing first experience! Emily made me feel so welcome and at ease. She paid close attention to my trouble spots and helped me feel more relaxed than I have in ages!

The warm and friendly couple of Emily and Rob run this great local business. We treated ourselves to massages during our road trip to Boone in order to alleviate stress and discomfort from the long drive, and life in general. Rob was recommended to me a few years ago by a client who gave me a gift certificate and insisted I give him a chance. I had a few negative experiences with previous massage therapists in the area and was not optimistic about finding a good therapist. Being a certified Pilates instructor for 13 years and now in the field of Physical Therapy, I tend to be very picky. I want to be able to go into a massage and tune out and trust in the therapists knowledge of the human body and not have to explain anything to them. Rob is brilliant, he has a gift, he is able to feel my bodys needs and respond to those needs all the while allowing me to completely relax and trust in his abilities!
