Our dog Waffles is very energetic and he had been tearing stuff up in the house and he was not responding to us. After training with Top Notch Canine with Reagan and Will, he has come back a new puppy. He is listening to us and more controlled on walks. He is still very friendly and playful but they really helped to channel his energy and give us good tips for behaving around the house and outside. I couldnt more highly recommend Top Notch Canine! Our dog didnt listen to a thing we said before sending him to training. He chased and nipped at our kids, wouldnt come when called, would run out the front door any time we opened it, and ran after neighbors in the street as they walk their dogs. After training with the Top Notch team all of those things are no longer a problem! Trust me, its worth the money!

Buck went to Top Notch Canine with multiple issues that made our day to day life difficult. We couldnt walk him on a leash, take our eyes off him for any amount of time, and other my puppy makes me mad issues. After spending two weeks with them, he is a new dog through and through. They took wonderful care of him and kept me updated. We are beyond satisfied with his care he received while there and his training. If we ever need another dog trained we will be returning customers!

I cannot say enough good things about Top Notch!! From the very first consult with them, they have been nothing but helpful, friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Now, after completing the Board & Train program, our 6 month old Goldendoodle is blowing us away with the self control he is able to exhibit!! Prior to leaving for training, he would pull our shoulders out walking on the leash, dart out of the backyard if not leashed, jump all over the kids (which he was quickly becoming larger than), and while super sweet, he was just a lot to handle. I can’t say that about him anymore. I can honestly say that Top Notch training taught him how to reign all that energy in, but still keep his fun, playful, happy personality that we adore about him! Seriously night and day difference! In addition to the results, Reagan and Will are just fantastic people who care greatly about what they do and the dogs they train. That was evident. I highly recommend them!

Just an FYI!! I would definitely 100% recommend Top Notch! I am very satisfied with the professionalism of the owners and the staff and their clear communication.I was really nervous about leaving my baby with them for 2 weeks but they have kept in touch and been very up front and honest about everything and steps they will be taking with the training! I cannot wait to see how great Tammy turns out to be when she gets home!

Reagan and the training team was wonderful with Oakley. They took him for a month and really helped us understand how we need to support our trained dog. We will definitely send future dogs in our family to Top Notch Canine and recommend them to everyone with a dog.

Emily worked wonders with our American Staffordshire terrier, Athena. She was nipping at my toddler, broke a tooth trying to crate train, and we could not get her potty trained. 4 weeks with Emily & Athena is a completely different dog but still has her sweet personality. We have been so pleased with Top Notch Canine. Will and Reagan were wonderful with out fear aggressive pup, Remi. Remi came home more calm and such a better listener. We feel more confident about controlling his behavior and helping him grow into a more attentive and friendly dog when we are out in public. Will and Reagan have been so patient, kind, and have went above and beyond to answer all of our questions. We would definitely recommend them to anyone who has a dog!

We loved TNK9! We have a German Shorthaired Pointer and while he’s kind of a goofy, semi lazy anomaly as it is, he had no impulse control at all prior to his board and train. After two weeks with them, he is even more so THE BEST DOG EVER now. Mealtimes with three kids are so much less stressful - he knows “Captain! Place.” and calmly lays down when anyone is eating. Come, Sit, Down, Kennel, and Place have been revolutionary to have set in stone. Walking this dog is an actual breeze (instead of him walking me). He was so loved on during his two week stay that I wasn’t sure if he was going to like us anymore, but he absolutely does. He has practiced so much restraint that he has been chill to the point of me asking Reagan 900 questions - and she does, so kindly, and doesn’t make me feel like I am annoying the heck out of her. She even followed up to make sure I had his collars on correctly and has made sure everything was so seamless. This was the best money we could’ve spent for our almost 6 month old puppy, and the customer service is wonderful, and I would 10/10 do it again. I’m so glad to know that he has a spot to board now that I know he loves already, too!

Top Notch did such a great job training our Rocky. Reagan was so patient in working with him and then teaching us to continue with the training. We feel like we have a much better family dog now.Reagan was also super responsive to my emails/texts. She is professional and really knows dog behavior and training.

Our dog was a different dog coming back from this training! We had so many problems before training with his nipping and jumping and my kids were afraid of the dog. But he is now a loving and sweet dog that fits right in with our family! I am very grateful for their training and how much they think through the aspects of the training, including real daily life training!

I submitted a $350 deposit for the puppy program for my 4 month old pup. 2 weeks before the start date, I had heard nothing from the place. I proceeded to contact them for information, possible meet and greet or phone consultation with the trainer and to ask specific questions about the training, accommodation for the 2 week board and train program. The response was We speak to our clients more than the puppy trainer as my husband and I are the owners. She is still learning the business sense of things. She will be with me or my husband when we come to get your dog Sorry, I could care less about the business sense and more about the welfare of my pup and where and who she will be with! When we decided this was not the option for our pup, no refund on deposit, which is fine but the owner stated Well, if you would have given me a day or so, we could have made time for the trainer to talk to you but we have lives outside the dogs. She had JUST said that the puppy trainer really doesnt speak to clients!! No dice, if you are a responsible pet owner, stay AWAY.

Top Notch Canine did a wonderful job with our Annie. She’s a “problem child,” but Reagan and Will showed great patience. Annie still remembers her commands almost a year later. We have to have “reminders” occasionally, but Annie still responds. Training with Reagan and Will is money well spent! I can’t say enough good things about the program.

Top Notch is amazing! Our puppy did the 3 week board and train program and he is transformed! He listens and does not jump on my kids when they come into the room and does amazing at staying on his place cot. I would recommend them to everyone!

I highly recommend Top Notch Canine for your dog training or boarding needs! We adopted our doggy, Luna, after she had been abandoned or lost. She was already about a year old and our sweet girl came to us with a submissive peeing problem. This is one of the hardest problems to correct and it has been such a challenge. Luna went through the 4 week boarding and training program and she came back to us with little to no peeing!!!! After a few days back home with us, she reverted a little. Reagan and Will have always been just a text message away to help with anything we needed or answer any questions! So I sent them and message and they came back to our home and did our follow up visit. They spent about an hour and a half helping us with tricks, educating us a little more, tweaking the ECollar, and helping us transition her from training to home a little more. Luna is doing amazing and I’m so grateful! And not only are we kicking the peeing problem, but she is SO much more well mannered. The place command is priceless! We are so much happier and Luna is so much happier! Thank you, Reagan and Will at Top Notch! You are awesome!!!!

Emily and Will were amazing with my Gertie!! Gertie was terrified of everything, she would lay down and shake with any loud noise. After returning home, she actually stayed outside while I mowed the yard! Huge improvement!

We sent our pup for basic obedience training. During the stay our dog needed a vet for a uti issue. Without issue they took her to the vet. Made sure she took her meds and got well all while still training her. I never for a minute worried about whether or not she was being taken care of while she was sick. Everytime I messaged to check on her, I received a response. They posted small updates and videos of her working. Im very happy with Top Notch Canine. At drop off they went over everything with us so we could better help our pup. They KNOW their business. And whats better than lifetime follow-ups! So glad we made the choice to send our dog for training with them! She recently came home and I cant wait to see all the improvements as we continue to work with her. Thanks Top Notch!

Top Notch is amazing!!! Two of our dogs just got back from a 2 week board and train program.Our 6mo old Aussiedoodle puppy was so crazy! We could not figure out how to train her. We were losing our minds trying to settle her down, keep her from jumping on the kids and the counters. We could walk her for hours and it didn’t make a difference. What Reagan and Will have done is astounding. She now listens, stays in place, doesn’t jump, and can self-control her excitement around the kids and our other dogs. We can now sit down for a meal without having to chase her around the house or crate her for a timeout away from the family. She has learned ‘sit, down, place, let’s go’, and her favorite ‘FREE’! She is now trained on an e-collar which gives us and her so much more freedom and independence outside. We could not be happier with the results.Our 7yr old maltipoo also trained with them. She has always been a complete ‘princess’ dog; loved her throne in the house and barked orders all day-every day to anything that moved...inside or outside. She’s a super anxious dog who lacked confidence. She often snarled at the kids, strangers and other dogs. She has been home for 2 days and we already see a huge improvement. She prefers her place-cot, where she knows kids and dogs will respect her space. She is also trained on the e-collar and is responding really well to commands, but also to minimize the obsessive barking! Her confidence level is already higher. Turns out, you can teach an old dog new tricks!We cannot recommend Top Notch Canine enough! Amazing investment for your family and your dog. We feel like we’ve learned so much and most importantly, we have control of our home again! They will provide your dog with the knowledge and will teach you the structure to be a successful dog owner. Thank you, Will and Reagan!

My 6 mo. old German Shepherd puppy went through the 2 week board and train program - he is now able to go with me wherever I go! He is relaxed and comfortable around crowds, other animals, unfamiliar places, etc.Top Notch Canine allows training to be done in a home environment. He was learning to be comfortable in public places with distractions during the day and being reinforced on potty training, mealtime manners, playing with other dogs, etc. during any free time.Would definitely recommend this program to anyone considering. I got outstanding results - better than I even hoped for!

We sent our 18 month Akita for a two week board and train with Reagan and Will. We loved seeing photos and videos of her progress. Shes returned calmer and we feel more equipped to work with her going forward!

I want to share a quick story that leads me to how great Top Notch Canine is... I am a Veteran that suffers from severe PTSD, anxiety, depression & physical disorders. I have a 7 yr old Shepherd/Husky mix, who has saved my life on multiple occasions, by forcing affection on me when I was at rock bottom & ready to end my life. She has been my guardian angel, so to say... However, she as also been the type of dog that would look for the smallest of opportunity to take off running, to explore the neighborhood (usually when I wasnt home). But we could never let her outside without a leash or inside a fenced area.... My wife searched & spoke with several Dog Training companies. She came across Top Notch Canine & during the meeting we had with Reagan we just felt very comfortable with her & the way she was interacting with all our dogs. She explained their process & how they work thoroughly & in a way we could understand. She put us at ease when we expressed our concerns on sending our dog away, because she has separation anxiety when shes not with me (even sometimes when Im home). Reagan also was able to assure us of their quality of training. To top things off, Top Notch Canine was also the most affordable for us. So my wife & I decided to go with Top Notch Canine. Upon sending 2 of 3 of our dogs (1 which was the one who saved my life, Abby). Reagan & Will would consistently send us pictures & videos of our puppies, as well as update us on their progress & how they were doing away from us. Since getting both our pumps back, Abby AS NOT, I REPEAT NOT even shown signs of trying to run of. Her recall makes my jaw drop, for as soon as I call her to come she comes. I think I may have shocked her on the shock collar twice since she returned home about 8 months ago.... I am able to let her and my other dogs run around the yard (thats not fenced in) without worries. I am able to have Abby hang out with me in my garage with the door open, while I work on projects in there. We no longer have to worry about her coming out to the driveway to greet me when I get home, or worry about the kids not closing the house door all the way. She has since been a completely different dog. We are so grateful for what Reagan & Will have done with her & our other dog. Because of this, this is one less stress I have on my self. Top Notch Canine is 2nd to None with their quality & pricing. Not too mention they are always available any time we have questions, concerns, or just looking for a refresher for us.
