For the price of this school you’d think the education would be better. Save your money and go to a community college ESPECIALLY if you’re coming here for dental assisting. Also, the 6 week unpaid internship is a huge issue in my opinion, another waste of time right there. It could be shortened to two weeks. During covid it was hard enough financially and they want you to leave your main job to go work for an office unpaid for 6 weeks full time. The career services person I had was also a joke. They just want you to graduate to make themselves look like a good school. I regret not dropping out.

Over priced, and never received all the “career service” benefits that they were so big on promoting. Any time I got an interview or a job it was on my own account. Shady.

Let me start off by saying that this rating is not a reflection of your instructors and the career services people. This is a refection of the school. The curriculum along with the homework load are not well planned out. You dont have the best of materials to work with. The tuition is absurd! Having that much money coming in, why is there not adequate materials and more up to date things to work with, such as more Dexter heads? I feel like certain things are just designed for you to not do as well as you could. Again, very expensive school for you to not have everything available to you. My education in this profession is super important, youre not gonna get far with out it. Thank goodness for those instructors though, their experience and their scenarios will help you to understand what that crazy dental book tries to explain to you. I feel like the knowledge I learned will help me get by, but you dont spend enough time on each unit to know and understand it fully. I dont want the instructors or some of the others that work there to get a low star rating, because they dont deserve it in anyway.

This school is fast paced, but you still get the hands on learning that you need to prepare you for the outside world. Mrs. Hawley is the best Clinical teacher you could ask for. The class load is overwhelming at first, but you soon get the hang of it and the months speed by. Ms. Forrester was a great teacher, Mrs. Thomas is amazing and Mrs. Mary was the bright light there. The ladies in the front were always smiling and never ceased to brighten your day. Mo in the career services department is always happy to help you find job placement. I really did enjoy every day I attended Ross Medical. I miss it everyday.

The school is AMAZING! HIGHLY recommend going to this center to receive education in the medical field. As a former student, i have first hand experience with every person in the facility. Ms. Thomas, the assistant director and instructor is very kind and gives a ton of insight on what exactly you are to expect in the career. Mr. Moe, he is the career adviser and he helps really really well with getting you prepared for your career goals and will get you into your extern-ship. he also is very caring about your needs and goals. Every teacher, office personnel and Directors are very caring, respectful and a great role-model while looking into joining the medical field.Ross Medical Education Center is the school to go to when you want to learn the trade and want to get in and have some fun along the way.

I began loving the program but as it progressed I liked it less and less. What I dont like is I was misinformed the first week and was told I would be nation wide certified. That person is longer part of their staff. I do believe their tuition is VERY over priced. You graduate only with your radiography certification. Do your homework with costs and certifications and expanded functions with other programs. If its longer than 9 months I would still highly recommend it just a couple more months for expanded functions is worth it!!! However, I did learn what I needed to succeed in the office.

My experience with Ross has been amazing the director is on top of her game and is wonderful. The administrative staff have been very pleasant with working with me and my life emergencies , i have a chronically ill son and they have been very nice and willing to help in anyway they can of course with following the laws and guidelines. the only thing that i wish was different was the teacher situation i had 3 different teachers but it looks like that problem has changed and there will be a steady teacher form here on out.

When i started Ross Medical it was great, then things took a bad turn. We had so many instructor changes, it was very unorganized and hectic. Some of the skills we were forced to learn arent even utilized in the dental office. Sometimes homework was just busy work or crosswords and word searches. Some of the administration personnel was rude, off-putting and made my time here not fun. This education is not worth the cost of the tuition, there definitely needs to be some adjustments made to this dental programOne great thing I do have to say is Tina Foley is a wonderful teacher and she taught me a lot of what I actually do use everyday in the office. Also the career services team Samantha and Beth are rock stars!!

I began Ross March 29, 2018 and the moment I stepped foot in the door, I knew that it was the place for me. I immediately felt welcomed and at home. My instructors as well as other staff members were so caring. They all went the extra mile to make sure that I got what I needed and more. They never made me feel like I was a pay check statistic to them because they went above and beyond to teach me more than what i needed to know to get me to the next level. I learned more than just billing and coding, I learned a lot about myself, and the importance of being educated in such a competitive job market. I am so glad that I chose Ross, I dont think I could have gotten any more from anywhere else, they really did change my tomorrow the day i began class.

I have enjoyed my time at Ross Medical at the Knoxville campus. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. I feel like I learned everything I need to know to be a successful Medical Assistant. I loved most that all the skills learned are hands-on. Being able to learn in a clinical atmosphere is what helped me the most.

This school is very hands on and relative to the work field. I did morning dental assisting and it is separated into class work and then actual field work. They will help you out in anything you need, including work, scheduling, and ect. I recommend this school to people who like smaller classroom sizes and one on one attention.

Didn’t have a good experience. If you want to enroll here they will first ask you a bunch of questions about your life until you start feeling uncomfortable. Then give you a 5 question test with random questions such as figuring out someone’s age who is twice as old as you and the difference between hot and cold. Once you finish that you will then go to another room to do another test and must do as many questions as you can within 12 minutes. Before doing that test you must sign a paper to immediately start your financial aid process. If your looking around at different schools just looking at your options I wouldn’t recommend going here. Once your in they will start the enrollment process then offer to give you a tour once you have finished all the ridiculous questions about your life and tests that have nothing to do with the program.

Ross originally had the students get online and leave positive reviews during class time. Now that I have graduated I am changing my review. I honestly do not recommend Ross for the CDA program. The turnover rate for teachers and the front desk staff is incredibly high. The class sizes are huge and do not allow for hardly any hands on expierence. They lied up front saying they had many extern sites available which was a lie, they were barely able to find my graduating class (8 students I believe) sites to extern at and mine was 30 minutes away from my house. The only positive I have from Ross is that I did have a few great teachers (Heather, Tina and Deena) that truly cared about us and did the best they could to prepare us for the actual office.
