I recently visited Premier Eyecare and was very impressed. The office is spectacular and the staff is very professional and courteous which made the experience stress free! Premier has a beautiful selection of frames at all price points. I had six frames in my hands to choose from within five minutes, which rarely happens because I am very picky. I highly recommend Premier Eyecare to all of my friends and family!

Ive been seeing Dr. Fry for over a year now and cant say enough good things about him or Premier Eyecares staff. Jessica is always a pleasure to work with when booking my appointments and is always there to greet me with a smile when I arrive. Dr. Greene was really professional and nice. She seemed knowledgeable and did a thorough examination of my eyes. She provided a detailed explanation about my tests results as well, they really care about you. Staff was really courteous and friendly as well. The entire team was helpful and did their best to keep my kids and myself comfortable but I felt the new optometrist could have been a little more personable. I didn’t realize she was new as I may have asked for someone with more experience as my son has had issues with his vision as a baby. She rechecked the numbers again after the dilation but I was handed a bunch of brochures to read than taking a little bit more time and explain patiently. She did tell me to call when I have any questions. Maybe it was because it was closer to their closing time but it wasn’t my fault. I was there since 2.30 until after closing. I waited for at least 15 minutes before i got called in and I suppose that time was utilized in checking for new glasses.Overall - great staff, smelled clean and spacious, not a lot of collection as far as glasses prices varied with ones insurance which is interesting! I should have read reviews and asked for Dr. Fry as he seems to have stellar reviews.

This establishment is FIRST CLASS! If you live in the Knoxville or surrounding areas, this should be your first, and only, choice when considering eye care. From the moment you walk into the office you are met with smiles (and coffee!!) The staff is a very knowledgeable, proficient and professional team whose #1 goal is patient care. All equipment is state of the art and kept in top condition which allows you to rest assured that no corners are cut from beginning to end during your exam. As someone who works for physicians who specialize in cardiology, you often see extreme thoroughness and attention to detail. In my experience, that is not something you usually encounter with an optometrist, but Dr Fry is an exception that in every facet! He very genuinely cares about his patients and does not want you to leave with any uncertainty or questions. It is obvious that he is passionate about his profession and takes great care to translate that into each patient visit, from the simple to the difficult. This practice is as good as they get!

What a awesome Office & Staff! I went there to get new sunglasses and that involved a eye exam that was extremely thorough every thing was explained and it was a pleasant experience. They did not use the glaucoma machine that uses a puff of air, I know a lot of people dont like that test. I got the impression that if there was a new way to do it that is how they did it. What makes a place great? In my opinion its the staff and let me tell you they have an amazing staff, friendly and always smiling! I did get the impression that Dr. Fry was busy but he still took the time to talk to me and was very thorough. Also at first glance i did not think they had a big selection( I did need a new prescription) but after looking around I recognized that they had only the good stuff! If you want a great eye examine and awesome glasses this is the place for you! If you want to buy one pair and get two free for $100.00 this may not the right place for you. (Update) 2/13/18 I went back for progressive glasss and I was very pleased with the visit and the thorough eye exam. Dr. Fry went over everything with me and once again I would say WOW what a great job. When the staff talks about how amazing the doctor is that speaks volumes!

Ive been going here for years and it has always been quick and friendly.

Overall, the attention and service that are provided by the staff and the doctor are first rate! Thier cost for that attention and service however, is more in sink with a Beverly Hills, CA Optometrist. I can certianly affort it but, they are missing out on a larger and more deverse base of customers in the Knoxville Tennessee area who dont have the budget to shell out over a thousand dollars for a single pair of reading glasses. In spite of that, my best wishes of long term success goes out to them.

Great service! I hadnt had an eye exam in over 15 years. I was way overdue!! Dr. Fry and the staff at Premier Eyecare took great care of me. I was seen promptly, never having to wait more than a few minutes between exams (I chose more options since it had been so long). I had so much fun picking out my frames. Dr. Fry is very professional, thorough and informative. He gently removed a foreign body that was lodged under my eyelid. My cornea had some abrasion, but after the removal of the foreign body, eye wash, and antibiotic treatment my eye is as good as new in less than 24 hours. I am so thankful to be able to blink and open my eye without any pain....thanks to Dr. Fry.

After years at Premier Eyecare, my husband and I have finally left. They sold me a pair of eyeglasses with expensive “Transitions” coating (glasses darken in the sun ) Problem is it wasn’t the brand Transitions. That’s how Premier Eyecare sold it- as Transitions- but it’s a cheaper copycat brand. They likely pocketed the cost difference. This is ethical. Learned this when, after just a few weeks, the coating wore off on half the lens. I returned them and was told they weren’t Transitions brand. They then fixed them. I forgave. Big mistake. Had another problem with eyeglasses and paid out of pocket for new lenses and frames. But they turned this in under warranty and probably pocketed the money they must have received from the lens company. That should’ve been my warranty. Tried to reason with the office manager, Mary, and she was absolutely unprofessional, oh so rude . She lied, and used the old shaming method- “I’ve heard from many of our staff that you’re difficult to work with.” Oh shame! A woman who speaks up! Other than Mary , and a customer-service challenged optician named Heather, the staff, who seem to come and go, are fine. My guess is they report to Mary and are terrified of her. Clearly Premier Eyecare is broken in several ways. There are so many good competitors. Go elsewhere!

Second time making scleral lenses here. Only positive emotions. Id like to get even better vision, just not sure it is possible for me at all.

I had to go back twice since my initial visit, not because they did anything wrong, but because I needed to carefully balance my vision between my all day computer job and my active outdoor lifestyle (distance vision). The doctors here worked with me to get to just the right prescription. Im only waiting to get my computer glasses now, but expect those to arrive next week.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Chase at Premier Eyecare this week and I can ensure you that this wont be my last! After filling out their online Patient Office Forms in advance, Erin had me all set to go as soon as I arrived for my appointment time. From there, Jeriel performed various tests flawlessly, using state-of-the-art equipment, before I saw Dr. Chase. I have an eye health condition that makes it impossible to get to 20/20 vision, even with lenses. This typically makes an eye exam a very stressful event for me, but the two of them were so understanding and patient with me. Dr. Chase was able to get me to 20/25, which is rare for me! After the exam, Kristen did an awesome job helping me select frames & lenses, as well as sunglass frames & lenses. Shes so skilled at asking the right questions, working with the shape of your face, and gave honest feedback. I cant wait to pick up both pair from her!And as a side note, if you like Maui Jim, they have the best selection in Knoxville, along with all the other popular brands, and a stunning showroom to shop.Im glad that I tried Premier Eyecare out and I would refer them to anyone!

My daughter had the misfortune of having my sisters dog eat her glasses. I did not know what I was going to do. I called who we use to go to and of course they could not get me in for over a month. I called let Premier Eyecare know and they got me in the same day. I was very relived my daughter was able to get in get her new glasses and ready to go within a couple of days. While there I went ahead made a appointment for myself and am very happy. The whole staff is great!
