I just completed 40 treatments of Proton Therapy for prostate cancer.My experience could not have been better, my doctor and the staff at this facility were the most caring and kindest people any one could hope for.Very professional, I believe this is the best choice for treating prostate cancer, Dont choose surgery for your treatment, to much downside and many complications can result from this choice. I just finished my series of treatments with PROTON THERAPY the end of September 2020. Dr. Lavey and his staff make you feel comfortable and make sure you are in the know. Every day I was greeted with smiles an how are you, to placing a warm blanket while I was having my treatments. Radiation research proved for me, PROTON was THE ONLY way to go. PHENOMENAL PEOPLE PERIOD!I just finished my treatments here and I must say that I am still moved beyond words with the exceptional professionalism of the staff here. I would recommend them to anyone that will listen. They embody nurturing and caring for individuals. I was graduate #2867, but never ever did I feel like just that number or just another patient. They always made me feel like a special individual. I have been to several other facilities as this is my second time around fighting cancer and HANDS DOWN they are THE BEST that I have encountered; Well their next door partner as well Knoxville Comprehensive Breast Center. You cant tell me that God is not in the hearts of these people. I will never ever forget them and I cant thank them enough for loving what they do.

I cant say enough good things about Provision CARES Proton Therapy Center and all the great people that work there. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and my treatments started in October (42 in all). I drove everyday quite a distance all those days and every time I walked through that front door, I got a Good Morning, How are You and a big smile from Ginnie, who is at the front desk. Ginnie is friendly, efficient and professional, and made me feel welcome there. My treatments were given to me in the Creekside section, and everyone there was incredible. I always was greeted with a smile and a How are you doing today. I would like to especially acknowledge Paige and Mikalah. I saw these two awesome individuals almost everyday, and I was so impressed with their knowledge and caring. They helped me through a couple of issues during my treatments, always being so patient and understanding. They were truly the superstars of my time there. My doctor was Dr. Wilkinson who explained everything I needed to know about my cancer and the treatments I was receiving. He always took the time to answer any and all questions that I had concerning my health. He is truly a professional, and so dedicated and knowledgeable in his field. Provision Cares really does care, and they treat everyone with respect and kindness, and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

My experience was great. The staff was friendly and courteous and made you feel at home. The friends I made were superior. Time flew by waiting on your appointment just spending time with them. Thirty nine treatments went by so fast. I miss everyone but plan on coming back for visit with cake or pie.

My husband had thirty treatments for Tonsil Cancer his last treatment was 08/09/2019 , first I want to say Staff was wonderful but we are not pleased with Dr Meek, or his office anyway Tony has had one PET scan in a year and has seen Dr Meek one time in a year, we can call about problem but get know response, he has had 2 CT Scans of Chest , never any blood work done, Has been a year and 2 months and has seen Dr Meek Once in a year and talked with Brittany about CT scans, You would think with the money they make they would be more concerned about the Patient and at least return calls and checkup on The Pt, cannot say anything Negative about Provisions staff but I would never recommend Dr Meek to anyone he is cold and uncaring about his PTs. Thats my opinion

My husband Mike was treated for prostate cancer in Aug & Sept 2018 with 39 daily treatments. No side effects during or after treatments. Met so many people undergoing treatments for various cancers. A wonderful facility, staff & doctors!! Sadly not enough people know about this type of treatment because so many doctors dont tell them about it!

The whole staff starting with Sharon at the front desk was so friendly and professional. They made me feel very comfortable and reassuring. The therapist were all very nice and helpful. Also Rhonda was very helpful with my financial concerns. Provision is truly a first class and Christian medical facility.

My husband was treated at this facility last year for Prostate Cancer. The doctors and staff are very knowledgeable of the treatment process. I highly recommended Proton Therapy for cancer treatment. One year out my husbands PSA is 0.220. Provision CARES Proton Therapy Center is truly a God send!!

Earlier this year, I was treated with 33 Proton radiation treatments for Stage 2 breast cancer.The facility is comfortable and the location is good. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They helped me so much by arranging my discounted Hotel reservations and answered numerous questions.The Provision offers many activities to get involve in, if you are interested. It was also a big relief to know that I was getting a much safer form of radiation over traditional radiation. I highly recommend Provision.

Provision Cares Proton = The BEST. Dr. Meek also the BEST. I have a Proton theraphy center much closer to me but I will gladly drive to Knoxville! THANK YOU DR. MEEK & THANK YOU PROVISION CARES PROTON.

There are no words to describe the love and respect that I have for this facility and staff, especially all of my technicians and Dr. Ben Wilkinson. They cured my prostate cancer with no invasive techniques or side effects. I feel like I am part of their family and they are definitely a huge part of mine. I highly recommend this facility as a lifesaver at a very trying time in your life.

Never met such nice and caring people and so courteous. I think they must have a secret school they send their employees. Every last employee I had any dealings with was dripping with kindness and concern for my problem. The procedure (a small lung cancer nodule) was done so efficiently and quick I did not realize it was complete and my last check up (each three months) showed it disappearing.

I was treated for prostate cancer and have now been cancer free for the last year and a half. There have been none of the usually associated side effects that occur with alternative surgical or radiation procedures.The treatments went quickly with little to no discomfort. It is by far the best treatment.

The care and therapy I received after my diagnosis with breast cancer was priceless. The staff and therapists could not do enough for my husband, Ken, and me. We were always met with a smiling face and warm welcome and were treated like family members. On January 25th, 2018, I completed my 39th treatment for Prostate Cancer at Provision and rang the Victory Bell. Upon meeting Dr. Wilkinson the first time on October 4, 2017, I remembered a phrase I heard many years ago, I dont care how much you know until I know how much you care. Everyone I met at Provision seemed to really care about providing treatment to the best of their ability which is all anyone can ask. Six weeks after my last treatment, life is good and I have not experienced any side effects from the Proton therapy. I would recommend Proton for anyone who is a candidate

I was the second patient to be treated at the center when it opened in January of 2014. My prostrate cancer was successfully treated without surgery and almost four years later I am totally cancer free and have experienced zero side effects. I had 39 painless treatments and was pleased with every aspect of my care. Miracles still happen in the present day! Joe Hamby

The hardest part of my therapy was the travel from Franklin to Knoxville, but once I got there I knew I made the right decision.Therapy was not painful, little side effect like being tired towards the end, but the staff was the best! Always a friendly smile, an encouraging word. I would encourage anyone to at least check out the treatment.

UpDate The bad experience I had was a fluke. The general manager of the facility met with me, apologized and explained what happened.The husband of the doctor who was supposed to see me was in a car accident that morning.I have started my treatments and all is going wellHorrible ! Went there for about 6 appointments, when we finally set a date to start procedures the Damn Doctor did NOT show up for the appointment ! Unbelievable. No calls no email, no nothing, the people who work there in this million dollar facility couldnt give me any reason for the doctor not showing up ! Is she a drug addict ...a drunk ??? What the hell kind of so called medical facility is this.? I wouldnt trust these irresponsible quacks to do anything !

I am worried that Dr. Fagundes and staff didn’t have a clear understanding of what they were treating. The MRI I received at Shands was 2 weeks after a blind biopsy. No PIRADS score given. Dr. Fagundes was always in too big a hurry to talk or answer questions. If you pay cash for your treatment, check around. They were double any other facility I checked. TheBilling office was little to no help in fighting my insurance. All they saw was dollar signs. This place scares me. If I knew then, what I know now, I would go to Florida.

Everything from my first contact with the people at Provision until My treatments were completed were handled professional and promptly.The technicians that work in the Autumn Room were excellent in theirduties treating me and a joy to know.

Provision Center was absolutely the best prostrate cancer treatment center in every respect for me!

I took time off work for my initial consultation, which was to include meeting with my nurse, radiation oncologist, financial coordinator, and a clinical trial specialist. However, I only got to the halfway point of this appointment, as the financial coordinator and clinical trial specialist had already left for the day after talking with the doctor. It may have had something to do with the fact that he took 5 calls during the time I had scheduled with him for this initial encounter.
