This is an amazing place. I lived here for two years and was able to get back on my feet on to solid ground. God is amazing and I have grown in my walk with him through the many opportunities that the mission provides for everyone who walks through their doors. If you are in need I suggest that you make the time to visit the Gospel Mission and if you are looking for a place to give back to the community it would be beneficial for both you and the mission to donate your time or resources.

Worst place to go for help. Was told by the Receptionist Candy that they were open and available for shower, just go to the corresponding shelter (mens or womens). Ring the bell at the mens shelter and am rudely asked What do you want? so ask for a shower. We arent open to the public, Leave! Go to wait for my wife, and am informed she had a very similar experience. lady that answered Who are you? Why are you here? and same response, need a shower. Well we arent open right now, come back after lunch! slamming and locking the door in her face. Would not recommend as a grizzly bear in a cave has more manners than we were treated today, and I would rather bathe in a river than ever return. Rudest, most ignorant godless people I have encountered since moving to this state.

The mission is quarantined due to a COVID outbreak according to the sign on the door.Dont bother going by.

Well Im the new Gospel Mission is 2.75 million spread and its very classy place the foods good if youre going to stay there you have to work 4 hours a day either Janitorial or in the kitchen so in the Old Mission I was a resident there on again off again for a year 3 months and the new mission right now I just go there to eat since Im an adult foster care but I really recommend the food you have to I think breakfast is at 6:30 and then 12:00 for lunch and I believe its 5:00 for dinner but youll have to call him and double check its nice so hope that helps

I stopped by after seeing a Facebook post about a cleanup the Mission helped with. In the post I read about Mission Bucks and wanted to learn more about the program. Upon arriving at the facility, the Executive Director gave me a wonderful tour and taught me about the offerings. I must say it is an amazing, beautiful and inspiring place. The staff were very friendly and the guests were at peace and ease. The offerings to those in need, whether guests or just those who come through for a shower or a bit of warmth or food, was encouraging to see in our community. The entire concept is well thought out and done in a very caring way. I look forward to turning in my volunteer application soon and beginning to help with getting Mission Bucks out into our community. If you are looking for something to fulfill yourself, I urge you to stop by and see what you can help with. Besides having to attend religious services and being repeatedly talked to about converting, when it was clearly made know that I had no interest in doing so; I was repeatedly falsely accused of not doing my give back time or getting someone else to do it for me. Until I knew that I had to have a letter from my doctor about not being able to do sweeping, moping and other cleaning; I still did it. Even with cleaning things as required, I was accused of not doing so. To which I hadWwitnesses. I was not allowed to have my cat, but two women were allowed to have their non service dogs including one that bites. Favoritism was definitely prevalent and I have been permanently banned even though I actually didnt do anything except stand up for myself.

What a class act. We were involved with the rescue mission in Merced, California and wanted to start doing something in our new home community. The staff we met were very kind and appreciative of anything you can do. This is where real change can happen when youre ready for it. Until then they love you anyway. God bless you all.

I lived here for 2 1/2 years. During this time I went thru the discipleship program, I got to cook in the huge kitchen. For over a year I was the Womens shelter supervisor. I am very grateful for the love and support of everyone there

This place has helped my chronically houseless sister who suffers from mental illness so much over the years.

Bailing off a freight train in the 70s was always glad to get a warm place to sit 24/4 7 and get a shower and clean clothes . if you chose to stay in the evening for a meal and bed sure you had to repent and sing for your supper but with a wink of their eye and if you did not ignorant you could get in.

Thank God for places like this, and the people who make it work.

It is a good thing that they are helping the community and I appreciate the help theyve given me, though I had a hard time settling into their curfew and way of doing things etc, so I didnt stay there for more than a couple nights. I got a nasty cold from being around all the people there, which took a couple weeks to get over.Also, why in the heck dont they put doors or stalls around the toilets in the dorm?? They try to imitate military style behavior, but its not good without a purpose and standards. I felt more like I was a captive at night, since they basically lock you down in the dorm from 8pm to 6am and take away all phones and electronics, like music things. Ugh! I went for some help when I needed it, but felt like I was in jail or something, with the director of the place interviewing me, all in my business asking stuff he didnt need to know...

This is one of the only places to get a hot meal for free in Klamath Falls. It also has capabilities to allow overnight visitors. Meals are served at 6:30, 12:00. and 5:00. Dont be late meals end thirty minutes after beginning. No animals are allowed in food lines. They try, but since its about the thing like it in town, many are turned away for various reasons some that seem quite petty.

I thought this was a great place. After my mom and I rolled our car on its side, we were short on cash and I started coming here because we were not able to afford food after going in debt in not only the debit accounts but credit as well. But from what Ive personally seen from receiving handouts here, Ive seen drug addicts taking advantage of the place, and not ONE staff member doing anything about it. This tells me this is no more than a safe haven for scammers to eat for free and save money for drugs. This location ENABLES drug use, with no recourse to enforce what GOD stands for. This is hypocrisy on the GREATEST affront to God and ANYTHING he stands for. Yes, there are a lot of honest people who come here for an honest meal. Heck, I even donated money to this mission, but never again. As I sat in the chapel on the church pews, there were people on the phone making obvious drug deals, using the area around the mission as a meeting place to distribute drugs. This place is filled with dirty dingy druggies, and from seeing the enforcement within this establishment, they must support it, or they choose to be blind because even a blind man could hear a drug deal on the phone in the chapel. I will not hand money to these people because they enable people who will not help themselves to worsen their lives. This is directly against Gods intent and directly opposing the life and teachings Jesus. Its a down right disgrace, and I will not support mislead noble intentions. Go ahead and donate to this God supporting establishment if you wish for them to bunk people who need help and then never give those people help. I believe that these enablers are WORSE than the drug addicts themselves because, from what Ive seen, PERSONALLY, they are promoting it. Disgusting. Id rather eat worms in the rain in front of this mission than take a bunk next to a drug addict or eat their food that they dish up here. Its probably more healthy too. Scum, they spit in the face of what Jesus and his father, God, intended. Disgusting.... SIN SIN SIN is most of what they dish out here, but they will sit and complacently say with a straight face that they are helping. These are the traits of a psychopath. Careful of bringing your kids here too. These people torment people outside the mission, yelling threatening phrases to people who walk by. I, myself, only came for food and then left as soon as possible, as the people bunked here are DANGEROUS, and dont forget that. Dont forget that these people do not enforce that either. They are complacent with the ways of an average drug addict. Take it from a man who saves lives and aspires to be a fire fighter one day.

I hire workers from the mission to help with cleaning, remodeling and packing Uhaul.

The food is yummy. And the staff are always nice and fast. Its always clean.

Please read! Klamath Falls Gospel Mission is not a good place to go. There is a gang that runs the place. Kfgm gang. The Executive and mens and womens directors are not in control of anything that goes on there.My knives that I had to turn in were stolen by someone from the so called staff. I was threatened by a staff member. Ill get you is what was said to me. Nothing was done about that. This place is of false advertising and Ill be looking into finding out every single donator who gives money to advise them of what exactly goes on there. This place is a scam. Waste of time. Waste of the peoples money that contributes. BEWARE!

How do I begin? To begin with, they do not respect you if you are not Christian. We are Jewish, and treated like vermin. My wife, who is 64, was thrown out because she does not fit in that little clique thats in the womens dorm. Furthermore, she was accused of being extremely disrespectful and cussing the place and people out, when I know for a fact it was not true! So now she can not even eat there! Anytime you stuff religion down someones throat, that person will reject it. Thats all this mission does. I have to live on the streets just to look for work! Their chores ties up 4 hrs a day. Their devotionals and other irrevellent classes that does nothing to help you ties up another couple hours at the very minimum! Please tell me how that helps you get a job and a place to live? I really want to know! This place is helping NOBODY! Only themselves. There are homeless thats been living there for years, hiding from having to pay rent, get a job, and sponging off of society because if you fit into the little mission clique, you can stay as long as you like, otherwise, its a wasted 30 days and then you got to go.

My wife, whos been diagnosed with Early Onset Dementia, and I went there to ask for any kind of assistance to help us from becoming homeless; we are basically homeless now. They will not help: I remember when they came to our church to beg us for money because they were still 3 million dollars short of their goal for the new buildings. (now I regret ever donating) And now that we need help keeping our home, they will not help. They told us that when we got kicked out and no longer have a home that we can come there for meals, showers and clothing. Wouldnt it be more beneficial to help keep us from losing our home?

Very rude people I got annoyed looks just for asking if I can get pads and tampons. They are a bunch of homeless people that hate other homeless people.
