I have to say that Dr. Frank Yanez is a great and professional Dr. but is front desk office staff is HORRIBLE, they provide a TERRIBLE SERVICE, and it is so sad that such a great Dr. has lost and keeps losing patients due to his staff. I never with my past Dr. had any issues or needed to wait over 48 hrs to receive my prescription at the pharmacy or and medical order, but I really have to say his front desk office staff are so incompetent!

Attending a conference in Orlando and was referred to Dr. Yanez for a medical issue. The most conscientious physician I have ever met. He was thorough, professional and, most of all, a superb doctor. A true healer.

The Dr. Is super cool and friendly. But the front office customer service is horrible they dont know what they are doing and they cant confirm a simple prescription to a pharmacy and they just ignore the phone calls or leave you on hold just because they dont want to deal with a simple situation..

I would give it a zero star if I could. They don’t answer the phone for 35-40 minutes at a time with no sympathy for the patients. I was in the office, sat there for over an hour when most of their work is over the phone now. When I finally was able to leave 2 hours later it was because everyone had an amazing hot lunch delivered and apparently all take lunch at the same time. This place is very unprofessional and doesn’t put patients first at all. I asked to speak to the manager and she was able to tell the receptionist that she called me but when I asked to speak to her about the ridiculous amount of time I was on hold she was suddenly “in a meeting”. This place is a joke and if you want a place that actually cares about you.. DO NOT come here.

My husband had an appointment here at 2:45pm we never received a call we called multiple times to be put on hold immediately without talking to anyone. We have been trying to get in touch and on hold for an hour now for his appointment over the phone. So not recommend this office very unprofessional.

I made an appointment for a medical exam, I got a phone call 2 days ago confirming and when I got there today I was told that the exam couldn’t be done because the person in charge stopped working there yesterday ! Unbelievable!!! I took time off from work and nobody told me that the appointment needed to be rescheduled !

Terrible!! dont go in that place!1:when we arrive by appointment, we need to wait two hours outside in the cold.2: we handed over the health insurance card and made the wrong identification. I received an invoice from the laboratory at my home. When I called, they forced me to take the invoice to the office. being that it was their mistake and the attendant was very stupid and made it difficult.3: I asked to speak to the person in charge and the same attendant did not let me.

I come to Dr. Yanez around 5 year, he is a great professional , his staff always was great. But after de Pandemic I dont know whats happen. My son need help with his referral the staff ignore and take around 2 week to answer. He choose another doctor. Now I need take a make my exams and take a prescription and I was take for 2 week and stay in the line for more 30 minutes. Is unprofessional. Definitely I consider Dr Yanez very well but I am so disappointed!

Dr. Yanez is a great doctor, his assistant was great as well and the Phlebotomist was very careful and caring when drawing blood but the staff is lacking in social skills, respect and timeliness. When calling this office it will take many calls for them to answer with about a 20 to 30 minute wait just for them to answer the phone. When goin in for an appointment make sure to have at lease 3 hours available as you will be waiting for that long in a tiny waiting room. I am so disappointed as this is truly a great doctor!

They were very dismissive at this practice. They did not listen to my medical concerns whatsoever. They were very slow, rude, and careless about patient requests. They would only talk about my concerns via the phone. Then when I finally spoke to him, he didnt listen to any of my symptoms. As soon as he heard depression as one of the concerns, he dismissed everything else I said and said he would refer me to a behavioral practice. Then when I tried to tell him what about the other concerns, he rushed me off the phone and basically hung up on me. Since they also did bloodwork, I took that opportunity to have them sign a form for me that says Im healthy enough to donate plasma since I needed that due to having low hermatacrit on a couple of times. He said my bloodwork was fine and that theyd email me referral for my deppression, my bloodwork results, and a physical form from my physical as well. A week goes by and nothing so I decided to go in person to also give them the paper I needed the doctor to sign since they never gave me their email to send it that way. I show up in person and they tell me that sent it to the wrong email. So I gave them my email again and the form and they agreed to do everything again. A couple of days and nothing still so I call and speak to them and explain. They seem to be lost on my email again and the form I dropped off so I explain. Then the doctor emails me bloodwork. I tell him thank you but I need the form I dropped off not bloodwork, they wont accept that. He emails me back and tells me another woman is handling it. I still havent heard from her and he also didnt care to send me a referral for my deppression, the physical form, or the form I dropped off. Im going to look for another pcp because getting them to do something so simple is like pulling teeth. Im offended at the lack of regard for the patients needs. Im sure they filled the claim to get payed though. Trash place, throw it away.

Dr. Frank Yanez is the best Dr. I ever known in my entire life. He is more than a Dr. he is a truly friend. He is very dedicated to his patiences. He care about it. Very friendly and funny gentlemen... I love my Dr.If you don’t have a Dr. yet, go see Dr. Frank Yanez. And like me you will keep it him forever ! First time in my life that I write a review, and I do it because Dr. Frank Yanez really, really deserves it. So, the first time I met him was about 2 years ago when I accompanied my brother to his office called: VIP Family Practice. The place was very nice and clean, and everybody was courteous, and friendly. My brothers health was very delicate at that time, he was morbidly obese and needed surgery in order to get better. If it wasnt by doctor Yanezs support, who knows what would have happened. He is an amazing human being that honestly cares for his patients. He advocates for them, guides them, and more importantly educates them. When you talk to him he really listens, and takes his time to help you (very hard to see that nowadays since we are just a number for many doctors). Something else about Dr. Yanez is that he is very charismatic, great sense of humor. Just by talking to him youll start to feel better, he is certainly in the correct profession, and my brother as many of his patients are lucky to have such an amazing doctor. I recommend him to everybody I know!

I have no issue with the doctor he is great. There is also one of girl that works there she has the really long hair she is really nice beyond that the rest ehhh they talk to much and none of them stood out in a great way.My issue is the wait time that’s insane. They over schedule people. People that have arrived after me about 4-5 people went in before I was called in.I got to the office at 10:45am, my appointment was at 11:15am. By the time they called me to check my weight and all the basics it was 12:40pm and because they have no rooms available I have to come back out in the waiting area to be called in to see the doctor.This is beyond annoying and so disorganized. I honestly refuse to go to the doctors I try to suffer through whatever issue I am having. But I couldn’t deal with the ear issues I was having anymore. So I decided to make an appointment and come to the doctors.Let’s just say I’m pretty sure this is the last time I will be coming to this office. The first time I ever came I thought it was really good, I thought I had the perfect doctors office finally. Let’s just say that’s not it and it’s back to the drawing board or just suffering through whatever issue I am having.Im not the only person that seemed upset today with this office and how everything was running. So if anyone knows of an organized office let me know. One in which they make appointments at the correct time and actually see their patients close to their appointment time not an 1.5 to 2 hours after.I don’t post reviews often unless I am very pleased with my visit or highly upset. So with that being said I’m highly upset and disappointed with this visit.End note: i wasn’t seen by the doctor after 3 hrs I had to leave. Thank you for wasting 3 hours out of my day.

Dr. Yanez is a very professional doctor. He is very positive and helpful. He is easy to talk to and takes the time to listen to your concerns. He carefully explains lab results and finds a specialist close by when you need one. I would highly recommend this doctor.

This place is so unethical they call people in that are their friends or favorite patient never mind if your appt is for 11am they will skip you and choose whoever they feel like. Receptionist are rude and uncaring. Dr.Yanez you need to restructure your office and be more mindful at whats going on in your office. People go there trusting that they will be attended to with dignity and respect.

The only reason I’m giving this a 3- star instead of 1 is because of Dr. Yanez and the fact that the place is clean. But his staff is lazy they don’t be on time with important paper work or refills you have to call so many times complaining before things get done. Get rid of the dead weight and this place would be amazing.

What an amazing Dr.. I had the privilege to have him as a preceptor for my FNP rotation and he has taken me under his wings and guidance. He is very professional and he exemplify great care to his patients. I am truly grateful to have share space with him and learn skills that will assists me in my career as a nurse practitioner. If I could leave 0 stars, I WOULD. My first appointment as a new patient was at 1:15 PM and I got there 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. I literally waited over 1 hour and asked them what was going on, they said because I’m a new patient it will take longer. I watched people go in and leave and I was still waiting. I waited 20 more minutes and they told me there were 2 people ahead of me still so I decided to change my appointment. Come today, I had an appointment at 10:30 and arrived at 10:15. I once again watched multiple people go in and go out and I was still there waiting. I waited until 11:35 am to ask what was going on and why I had to wait so long if my appointment was at 10:30. The lady at the front told me there were still 2 people in front of me and that I’m still considered a new patient. They didn’t care that I was there with an appointment, they never apologize for the delay. The layout of the seating arrangement is horrible and the whole tiny waiting area is always crowded. They took my copay up front the first time and didn’t care about me about that. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Dr Yanez very good doctor. But, the staff on front desk very unprofessional, rude, no customer service at all with patients. A old lady today, been screaming yelling said our insurance wasn’t active so, we told her to call the Insurance, she refused and told us to get out of there. We called insurance and confirmed was Active it. So, that’s will be last time we come here.

My name is Paula Alvarenga and I would like to mention a rather disagreeable situation that I have experienced with your service.Yesterday I went to the hospital at 12:15 pm and only left at 4:40 pm. The service took a long time but until then that was not the problem.On leaving the hospital I made a request for a document.The lady who worked at the hospital gave me everything I asked for. So I left ! I called uber to get me.Inside the uber I had realized that the papers that the lady from the hospital had given me were wrong.So I asked the uber to wait a few minutes while I changed the documents. I had already waited in the hospital for hours with my baby. He and I were tired, hungry and I could no longer control the whole situation of my son who was uncomfortable for being all day outside the house.The moment I went to ask the lady to change my document that by mistake she had given me the wrong papers she asked me to wait. I told her that the uber was waiting for me and my son and I were tired and hungry, I wasnt feeling weel.One of the women who worked at the hospital showed interest in speeding up my situation but her co-worker had told her not to help me because the patients had to understand that who was in charge was her and not the patients and that I should waitI felt a little lack of empathy on her part. I wasnt feeling well, my son was hungry, crying and Uber was waiting for me.I just wanted to ask you to take a closer look at this kind of situation, because I felt really bad about everything with this

If I could I would give it 0 stars. Waiting time is horrible, nurses never give you a smile or make you feel comfortable. The Dr needs to go back and learn about professionalism and ethics. He is always crashing, he barely check you. My first appointment he body shamed me saying my back was like a buffalo hump which was very horrible being that I struggle with weight issues all my life to the point of being bulimic at some point.Mind you at the time of my appointment I was 180 so we are not talking about morbid obesity. On my last appoiment I went with my mom and he cared more about talking to my mom and flirting with her. When he took out his personal phone to look for a food text to show my mom as he was scrolling down his texts there was pics of naked women front and back and he had the phone right on my face. He turned to me and told me they send him those texts and he kept scrolling down like nothing happened. Disrespectful and pig headed. And 0 Dr skills.

I agree with many of the one star reviews here-Dr. Yáñez is a great doctor, however, his front staff is rude and unprofessional. Recently, I went for an appointment & there were around 15 people in the waiting room. I was informed the system was down all day, the Dr. couldn’t see patients until it came back up & it was suggested I reschedule. When I called a few days later to reschedule, I questioned why calls weren’t made to let patients know about the outage & the lady was defensive, laughed, and said they cannot control outages and it probably had just happened before I went into my appointment. Needless to say, I won’t be returning and I’m saddened because I truly enjoyed Dr. Yáñez but I’d now be embarrassed to go to his office since apparently it was funny of me to ask such a question.

The front desk people are unprofessional. When calling to set an appointment its always a headache. I was asked what time do you want your appointment lady? Not even referring to me by name. Plus they overbook appointments causing major delays.

Wouldnt recommend! The doctor interupted me multiple times while explaining my situation and concerns. He talked to me like I was one of his buddies rather than his patient while cussing up a storm! I was also asked what kind of medication I wanted!! I waited for over 2 hours before being seen. Several people who came in after me were being seen before. The staff and doctor are among the most unprofessional and unorganized I have ever seen!!! Zero stars!

This clinic is clean and organized and the staff is friendly and great. The doctor truly cares for his patients and I wouldnt change clinics for any other. I have lived in orlando for 9 years and so far this is the clinic I feel most comfortable at.

Before anyone gets mad, Im a Cuban-American. If you speak Spanish and dont get turned off by loud, hyperbolic Hispanic people who mostly prefer to talk to you in Spanish (even though both sides can speak English), this place is for you! The doctor, Yanez, mocked an Indian gentlemen in Spanish, calling him El Hindu (The Hindu), behind his back. Classy.

Made a appointment for a immigration physical for my wife , she handed her immunization card written in Spanish , the Dr actually studied in Dom. Rep... They called after the 1st visit and informed us that a 2nd urine sample was needed as my wife did not fill the jar which was a lie .... She gave a 2nd sample , they informed us that the results would be in a couple of days , my wife called and was informed that Arianna the person that could answer her questions only works on Saturdays .. we called for 3 weeks and we got the runaround , in that time I got a bill from the lab for 200.00 ..never was informed of a separate bill ! ....my wife went to the VIP (on a SAT.) After going over all the paperwork was informed that Monday her documents would be ready, driving home was called and told that some vaccines were missing ... My wife had to point out the name and page on her immunization card of the vaccine in question ... Being that the Dr. Is Spanish and studied in Dominican Republic and the documents are from the country you would think he would know the name for it !! They informed us everything was ok and documents would be ready blah blah blah .... Got a call 3 days later stating the same issue with the same vaccine !!! My wife pointed it out again !Its going on a month and no documents !!! I decided to to call them , the receptionist cut me off and told me to call on Saturday and in mid sentence she hung up . ...called again and spoke to Anderson he offered a apology afterwards I demand a refund which was mailed to me . Between the lazy,rude , unprofessional Doctor. Ghetto ratchet receptionist why go here when theres plenty of clinics that perform the physical , without the headaches

It is a pity that I cannot give 0 stars, it seems to me a lack of respect for the patient that they give an appointment at one hour and they attend you 3 hours later, I do not understand why they give an appointment so they should attend in order of arrival. I arrived at an hour and patients arrived after me and they were treated first and last, after almost two hours, they treated me. A lack of control with appointments they have the capacity to see so many patients per hour and they give twice as many appointments. Get organized because instead of winning patients what you do is that nobody wants to go to your office

They are good medics but it takes you two or three hours for your appointment.

My suggestion is that if you are given an appointment for a day and an hour in addition to having a story there because the nurses come out to ask you again everything that someone else has previously asked you. And even worse are the nurses who authorize or not if they treat you, wasting your time due to the long wait, very bad treatment from them. Thanks to Dr. Yanez who came out and apologized to the end of the world. I give the place 5 stars. To the nurses 2 stars and to the medical staff 5 stars

Very bad attention from Dr. Peña, he does not know how to treat patients, he hangs up the phone, he does not know how to have customer service ethics.

Dr. Yanez is very professional and friendly .... but the customer service is AWFUL. You make an appointment and they take care of you 2 or 3 you will do later. They change the time of the appointment and do not notify you. You call to have the Medina sent to the pharmacy and they dont either. You call the office 7 times and more and absolutely NO ONE answers the phone. Customer service is the worst.————————————————————————————Dr. Yanez is very professional. However, when it comes to customers services is HORRIBLE !! You make an appointment and you better have two to three hours available because, you will be waiting that long. Calling the office? Good luck with that !! You tell them (when they finally answer) to send your prescription to the pharmacy and they dont do it. The worst customers service I ever experience at a Doctors’s office !!!
