I came in to the reception and no one wanted to check me in.One receptionist was doing scratch offs and the other was doing her own thing.There were like 10 women behind the counter all taking with each other and no attention to the patient.The office was hot as hell.They called me to the back.Staff was singing and carrying on.They asked me to give a urine sampleThe bathroom was disgusting.After they sent me to the 2nd reception area.I can hear a doctor with his patient and all her Information.This place is a joke.The doctor wasn’t any better.Rushing my appointment.Answering a call while I’m speaking.Not going back.

I was supposed to have an evaluation because I think I was misdiagnosed. Im assuming I saw one of their doctors. The woman asked me what it felt like to have a panic attack. I described it to her and told her I was having one then. Her response was you look fine! What a wonderful response. Super unprofessional. Extremely disappointing. I would like to know who taught her thats its acceptable to respond with that? I have been untreated since the visit. Unbelievable

First they don’t wash their hands at least not in front of me and if they do they touch doors and everything before they touch me. Second one of the receptionist had a visitor and they were loud using the phone and I heard the whole conversation. When they say not to use your phone cause obviously it’s rude. I understand that it was some kind of emergency but take it outside or to another room. Away from patients.

I absolutely love Dr. Vanessa! She actually LISTENS! I love that she takes her time and I don’t feel like she is rushing me. She makes me feel like a “normal “ person! Like I matter!I need consistency and she provides that for me!

The staff don’t know what They are doing, especially when it comes to minors. In every appointment they have different staff and different rules about how the kids are seen with the psychologist. All they really care is to cash in on the health care plan

I wasn’t told I would have to take a urinalysis before I went to see the dr but the second I handed the copay over the nurse hands me a cup. The issue with it is I was charged $141.25 for a urine test I wasn’t told about. If they didn’t charge me for it, it wouldn’t be that much of an issue but it feels like a set up with the nurse hiding the cup till you hand over the cash. The dr was very professional I liked dr O but the staff is rude and hidden fees are unacceptable. My new dr sent me to quest for blood and urine and actually told me before hand so I would be prepared to pay. Take this into consideration before you see anyone at mindful behavioral health. That’s a $200 dr visit with insurance.

DO NOT SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION FROM MINDFUL BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE. Ive been contacting them for over a month trying to get my insurance confirmation taking care of and they still havent done so. Ive spoken to my insurance several times and they tell me Im approved to use my insurance for sessions with them, but yet their office still hasnt confirmed (AND ITS BEEN WEEKS) Ive had to cancel 2 appointments I had set up already with them because of their lack of service. Mind you, I had to keep calling them (Mindful Behavior) to try to take care of it. I honestly feel bad for people who really do need to speak to someone about their mental health and call this place. They would probably be better off seeking their counselor from High School. Ive used Beltran Behavioral before and never had this problem, the reason I went to Mindful is because they are in my new insurance network. Lastly, I called today to cancel my appointment since my insurance still hasnt been confirmed, and before I can speak more about my situation, the person on the phone hung up on me. Businesses like this one dont deserve to service people, especially people who seek mental help.

Dr Micheal Trainor has helped me to open up about things that I never have talked about even with my psychiatrist at the VA , I know that I have a long way to go but he is making things easier for me to talk about and try to deal with. I actually have recommended Mindful Behavior and him to several of my shipmates my days are easier to handle since I started with Mindful Behavior and specifically Dr.Micheal . I truly appreciate Mindful Behavior for being there for me.

Mindful Behavioral Healthcare is WONDERFUL. From scheduling through to reception, then off to the techs, nurses and doctors (psychiatry and therapy), there in a class of their own. A high quality, extremely knowledgeable, deeply caring and compassionate, listening and putting the needs of their patients first, with top notch expertise are but a few words I would use to describe the excellence of care.Ive read reviews complaining about phones or office wait times, and sure... those were (might still be) a bit arduous, but by no fault of the office, medical or administrative. The truth is, theyre a private service offering an innumerable amount of patients help... they try to turn no one away, so of course there could be longer hold times at times or wait times while there. The doctors never push you out of their office, even once your times up - they care, listen and give you the time you need (to a point, they cant go over by too much with a full office waiting). With doctors and staff that care as much as they do, and with the huge amount of patients that they see, its to be expected that the phones or wait times in the office might be a little backed up, but well worth the wait!Upon first becoming a patient in their Kissimmee office a handful of years ago, I was met by Suleene (Zue as I call her lol). She had the biggest and brightest smile on her face and helped me through the entire process of signing up as a new patient. From that first day through to the current time and the many positions shes held there, shes always gone out of her way, stopping what shes doing to help me with anything I need. She knows almost every aspect of the administrative process and then some and she wont hesitate to help, and help with a smile. Zue -- we laugh when I call her that - is like a shining bright ray of sun. Warm and welcoming and always willing to help at any cost, shell get it done!Each tech and/or nurse (too many to list, and some names I dont recall) has always laughed with me, listened and cared about me - always going out of their way to make me feel comfortable, calm and heard - Ive always felt like a priority when going in - wait times or not.Ashley, someone who used to work as a phone scheduler, was the most helpful person ever. So knowledgeable and helpful, always doing her best to fit me in even if theres no room to fit, as well as get me to see the Dr. of my choice (when able, if able). Shes so kind, friendly and feels like family when speaking to her. And, Im sure many feel the same way, because she was promoted to the Supervisor of that department and it was a WELL DESERVED promotion! Shes just the sweetest!The Office Manager Angie is AMAZING. Anytime Ive had even the smallest concern or request, shes worked with me personally to resolve it. Always on top of things, able to resolve anything swiftly, always making things work, and work well!For Therapy, Ive only seen Deborah Rivera, and theres no one more compassionate, caring, truly involved, professional and comforting than she is. She goes above and beyond, a case load (patients) so large that I dont know how she does it without her head spinning, but she does, and she does it with great expertise and extreme warmth and commitment to her patients care. Deborah made a huge difference in my life.For Psych, Ive had a handful of doctors over the years, each wonderful, each concerned, caring, compassionate and very knowledgeable. One of my favorite was Dr. Gonzalez (RIP). Another Dr. who far exceeded the bar. Very sadly, Dr. Gonzalez passed in 2020 and will be remembered by many, myself included. Due to his sudden passing, and without another Psych lined up for me yet, the Founder & CEO, Dr. Charneco saw me personally. What a lovely Dr. with a literal plethora of knowledge and specialized care behind her countless years in medicine. Even though it was an extremely upsetting day, Dr. Charneco made me feel like a priority. Shes Amazing!Mindful Behavioral is Wonderful! I highly recommend them!KF

Im immensely disappointed with the services I received. I was kept on hold countless times, for long periods of time, and then billed a no-show fee. When I called to dispute it, they reacted as if it was my mistake and they were doing me a favor. They are very unprofessional. Therefore, I no longer participate in their services.

This is probably the trickiest place to get an appointment at. the doctors are so darn good you got everybody wanting to see em! the ladies at the call center always help me find an appointment tho. just yesterday i felt like i almost ran out of luck trying to find an appointment that was best for me but i had a helpful young lady by the name of sally i think or maybe malory help me find my one month follow up with dr orville. thank you ladies!

Injection set up should be done in front of patient to ensure that the M.A. is washing their hands.

You must wait on hold forever when calling. Then they inform you that they are call center. No phone number to speak directly to personnel. Today was my first visit. One of my meds were not called in and I drove over 2 hours. After this ANYONE WOULD NEED A SHRINK!!!

Dr. Gonzalez was the best! Will be missed. Always great staff and Dr. Charneco takes good care of my daughter in every visit. Very knowledgeable staff.

Was in the neighborhood of the Kissimmee office. My mom will be a new patient with this facility, and it just so happens that I need a new psychiatrist myself. So we stopped into the office. We were greeted immediately by Valentina. I asked if they accepted my insurance and they do! We asked if I could make an appointment and pick up new paperwork and medical records release forms. She was happy to help.Not to mention she was extremely busy yet kept an upbeat and friendly attitude. Amanda was also helpful and very nice.I had to call the office today and was given an option for a call back.Within 10 min I received a callback from Lisa M. at their call center. She was friendly, professional, patient and answer ALL my questions. Im already extremely impressed with this company and I havent had my first appointment yet!

Fantastic Dr. Charneco and great staff. Dr. Charneco is giving my husband a new lease on life and a zest for living. Everyone is very professional and patient. This center is an asset to the state of Florida. Highly recommended by me and my spouse.

There’s many things I can say that is wrong with this place. The staff doesn’t clean their hands before giving injections is one of the worst things.

If I could give this clinic no stars, I would. The name mindful does NOT relate to the clinic or anyone who works there AT ALL. I dont understand how theyre still in business. They push pills on you that give adverse crazy side effects because well... youre obviously being treated by a nurse practitioner AND NOT an actual Psychiatrist, and when you call again to change providers because you want to get treated by an actual Psychiatrist (You know, a specialist) you get scheduled with an Internist who specializes in INTERNAL medicine and NOT Psychiatry (ONCE AGAIN)!!!!! You will be waiting in the queue for a really long time, and then when they finally decide to pick up your call... guess what? They will hang up on you!!! And when you fill out your new patient paperwork to authorize family members, guess what? IT DOESNT MATTER, because when you call in they wont have that paper on file because they cant find it. This clinic is the ghetto of all clinics, cheap and money hungry. Nothing positive to say about them, theyre A DAMN circus SINCE DAY ONE!!! If YOURE MINDFUL of your own mental health (BECAUSE THEY SURE ARENT), stay away from this clinic and avoid the HELL you will go through. All you will get is treatment from a practitioner, get worse, keep scheduling appointments and going around in circles because they dont want you to get better, all they want is money!! If you love yourself or your loved one, Do your research before going to this circus because it sure isnt a reputable health care provider.

This place it’s literally the worst place to get your medication at. They always take extremely long to attend you even when you have an appointment. What I mean by this is your appointment could be at 9am and they will take care of you by 11am or 12 pm and I’m not exaggerating. When you call to either make an appointment or consult your medication the wait time could be “0 minutes” and they’ll have you waiting for over 15 to 20 minutes. Makes absolutely no sense.

Worst care I think Ive ever received. I was with this provider for over a year. They are so unorganized. Constantly rescheduling appointments and changing the provider you see due to their own schedule adjustments. Feels like a mill. Churn em in and churn em out. Felt like the level of care here was terrible. Every time I turned around they switched my psyche provider. I had one therapist here and she was always 15 minutes late to our appointments, after 5 visits I quit seeing her And dont forget, the waits are ridiculous too. Wait over an hr to spent 15 minutes with a doctor when its a psyche visit.

When I came here I trusted Mindful with my health. As someone who suffers panic attacks taking medicine was a big challenge for me. I literally had broken down on my first visit. After finally getting the medication to be on the right path Mindful has been pulling the run around on getting my antidepressants because of a scheduling issue. An issue that would never have happened if they never canceled my original appointments. Promises of callbacks never returned. Difficult to reach phone lines. They put me on a medicine and increased the dosage and now expect me to dangerously just stop taking it while I wait for a response that never seems to come. I would say that this kind of policy puts money over the well being of patients. My advice is to be on the side of caution when taking any long term medicine from Mindful Staff as you will need to be prepared for the possibility of having to suddenly stop it without the recommendation of a medical professional.

I called to schedule an appointment. They informed me of a balance I had from 2018. When I asked why I had an outstanding balance I was told that when I came in for my last visit my insurance was inactive. They declined to make me an appointment until I take care of the balance. I was not aware of a balance. Also the practice should of verified the insurance prior to being seen. When I came in for the appointment the front desk should have mentioned that my insurance was inactive. But they sure collected a co- pay. I should not be responsible for a balance due to the incompetence of your office staff. Really disappointing.

In less than one year I’ve had to change therapy providers four times, and every time it’s near impossible for me to schedule an appointment with them. The doctors are really nice, but there’s no reason why I should have to wait three months for an appointment when I should be seen every other week.I’m also on medication management and I’ve had to change providers five separate times. The inconsistency is having a negative impact on my quality of life and I’ll have to find another clinic to go to.

I have no complaints about the Kissimmee office. Front desk are always pleasant to me. I have had two different therapists since coming there. I liked both.

Dr. Charneco, M.D, chain on eyeglasses, managed for me to tell the world the difference between someone and no one. I was so poor in health as to need Medicare via disability benefits. She and her staff drove on a bargain, and today, it’s railroad Medicaid benefits. All I need.I have yoga. I have Pilates. Thanks to Mindful’s poster, I can be seen as fit, if a Sunni Muslim.You want to know th3 truth? The one star is for front desk girls, who take on so much for so little.Pros: Great people all aroundCons: VERY POOR PAYROLL MANAGEMENT. So much money coming into this place, however paychecks bounce on a weekly basis causing some hardship on employees. Sad part it, its been happening for a VERY LONG TIME and it hasnt been fixed. Yet they demand employees to smile, be cheerful, be courteous and respectful. Theyve lost many good employees due to this very sad situation , and will continue to do so.Note: Mindful, just a quick reminder, without your employees, you are absolutely NOTHING!! Office call me that they need to reschedule appt. I have waited for this appt for more than a month and now i have to wait until the end of next month ( july)because they said that i had reschedule appt previously due to the pandemic. Poor care of patients very disappointed.

Went to this place to look for help for my son who is grieving due to my divorce and after the third appointment was told by a “counselor” (who never gave no counseling to him) that he wasn’t specialized in kids and he wants to refer him to another counselor with appointments like in 4 months... what a Joke!!! Try find somewhere else! Don’t waste your time here!

With COVID 19 you think they would be more sanitary

I was sent here for treatment. Dr. Charneco was the first person in years to hear something particular about my situation and treat it, where other doctors in the past have shrugged it off. She and Rachel made me feel listened to in an industry where I typically feel like psychiatrists are just trying to throw pills at me to get me out of their office again. Nurses/techs and the staff at the front desk were also consistently kind and patient, even when I havent been at my best. Yes, the waits can be rough sometimes, and it can be doubly rough when youre a little late to your appointment - but I actually felt listened to while I was able to come here. Thank you for that.

How can to make an appointment? i need to continue my treatment

If I could give a zero to this place I would. We have consistently waited for more than an hour for appointments, and they switched providers on us with absolutely no notice. On one particular day (after being informed at the last appointment I could do so) it was important we get seen and out on time due to another personal commitment. So, I called ahead of time (30 min prior) to make sure that they were running fairly on time. I was told that they were. When we arrived, I was told that they were over two HOURS behind schedule? Why did the people answering the phone lie to me? I dont understand. My time is just as valuable as theirs.Then, after multiple complaints to the office manager, I asked to see her on our next appointment. I was quickly ushered into the office of one Vivian A. Charneco, M.D. For the whole hour of my daughters appointment, she proceeded to lecture me about how I was rude and disrespectful of their time and that I did not understand just how everything worked. Then she proceeded to say how I should be ashamed of myself for taking up her precious time with such ridiculous things and that I should be more concerned about my daughter? No, she should be more concerned about my daughter and should have spoken to me in private without my daughter present, nor during her appointment time. How this lady EVER won an award for her skills is beyond me.On top of all that, we were paying a certain set sum out-of-pocket for all of her appointments. Before that fateful meeting, I had finally sat down to look at our insurance company claims. I discovered that for the three appointments wed had there, I had actually overpaid about $15 per appointment. Theyd never told me, nor applied the credit on our account to our next appointment. They would have kept on keeping my money unless I would have brought this to their attention.Needless to say, we will not be back. I refuse to have to pay someone to treat us like dirt. Their front office and back office staff, as well as the physician on staff are totally shameful in the way they treat their customers and clients. Ive yet to receive any type of satisfactory explanation as to why I was told appointments were running on time, nor as to why they thought it was OK to keep my hard earned money.All I can really say about this place is that they care more for the almighty dollar than they do their patients and clients well being and care.ETA: In response to your reply, just so others know you are totally out of line, not once was it explained to us that you would run 2-3 hours behind in seeing people. Its uncalled for and if thats the case on a regular basis (always!) then you need to schedule less people per hour. Care more about the people than you do the money!

I have been a patient for over 7 years. I find the office and personnel are excellent in their respective jobs. I have never waited long to see Dr Ruiz or Linda. They are growing fast in other locations now and the only complaint I have is the wait time on the telephone to make or cancel an appt. Other than that, put your trust in this organization. They are AWESOME!

I cant believe I keep coming back. This will be my last visit.Update: Minful apologized for the experience. I went back and they charged me a out-of-network copay even though they are in-network. The Dr saw me nice and quick, but she didn’t listen to any of my treatment needs. Constantly interrupted me as I tried to answer her questions. She was, in short, extremely rude. I felt that the entire copay was wasted and I won’t be back no matter what kind of apology Mindful provides.

Well....the last time we were here we did not have to wait that much because they had just changed the office/scheduling/appointment system, I believed my waiting time was around 45 minutes, which was not as bad as the time before, I waited for hours.....seriously, at the end we decided to leave without seeing anyone and reschedule the appointment. There is something else one has to take in account, be on time for your appointment! You must wait for them, but if you are delayed more than 15 minutes, you will have to reschedule. Let me describe the scenario, your appointment is at 3:00 pm, but probably with lots of luck you will be in front of the doctor in 45 minutes (best scenario) but set your mind to a longer waiting time, take in consideration (there is a patient inside and 6 waiting before you) you make it at 3:15 pm and you wont be seen. Just to give you the heads up! Other than that they provide the required services and the staff is courteous.

I would recommend this facility! Their staff always goes above and beyond for the patients. Like any medical office, there is sometimes a wait to be seen, but they always communicate that with you and set an expectation for your visit.

While Dr. Charneco is great the wait to see her is horrendous. Most of the time I am waiting 3-4 hours to see the doctor. Crowded and busy every time I go. Its nothing but a stressful and unpleasant experience

This facility seems to be more concerned about profit than their patients. Waits are rediculously long. They offer NOTHING without a charge, and the fees they charge are punitive. This is strictly a business and the welfare of patients are of little concern.

Its all about the money and not about caring at all. My intake was fine. $10 copay and wait was 10 minutes. I make an appointment for med management. Went to the appointment, $10 copay, and waited 1 and 1/2 hours to where I was late to work. Thanks for that. Appointment was 10 minutes and out. Make an appointment for a month. Unfortunately my husband lost his job. I have to reschedule because money is extremely tight. They tell me I have to pay my balance or any amount before I can get a new appointment. I pay $20 and call again. Finally got an appointment for over a month out. I later call for multiple days asking for emergency refill until next appointment because I will run out. Took over a week before the refill was sent and I was already out of meds.Appointment is coming, my husband still doesnt have a new job, money is getting even more tight but I need to see the psychiatrist. I pay a little more on my balance so I wouldnt have a problem. Get to the appointment and Im told they want me to pay the price of the appointment in full. Not a copay like last time. Say its because my insurance rejected it. I call my insurance and they say there isnt a claim at all and that the office is allowed to charge me a copy or ask for the office visit in full if they want. Mindful Behavioral didnt want a copay for this visit because they wanted me to pay my balance and didnt trust that I would pay this office visit as well. I am extremely stressed out. I have very little money and a high chance of losing my new home but money is all they want. So I left from that appointment trying not to cry because I told her I cant do the entire office visit payment in full. I was ready to do that copay and receive the bill in the mail as I have been doing.That was on Wednesday. Today, Friday, I call to try to make an appointment so I can pay my balance over the next month because I know its going to be a month before they can see me as it always is. The guy who talked to me had THE RUDEST attitude. He says a manager has to approve an appointment for me because of my previous reschedules and I try to explain what happened on Wednesday. He says I have to pay my balance or make a payment arrangement which I said I was paying with each paycheck as I was able. He says I was advised last month when I rescheduled to make a payment arrangement which is not what happened. The agent who rescheduled me said she would put a note so that they could discuss a payment arrangement with me when I went to my appointment on July 31. A payment arrangement was not discussed I was told to pay the entire office visit in full and if not then Id have to leave so I left.So now I will be running out of medication. You dont know what someone is going through and if youre going to work at a mental health office, you need more compassion than any regular office. This agent nearly pushed me to the edge because I am not doing well mentally at all with my current situation at home. You could push someone to finally ending it with that sort of attitude. All I wanted was to see my doctor, renew my medication, and talk to someone who cared about me. This office does not care about me because I dont have money to prove Im worth caring about. This is literally what I feel, that I dont deserve care and that youd rather my mental health push me to a dark place because of money.On top of that, a therapist was calling for another patient on July 31 and it took him a while to respond. She and the front desk person were rolling their eyes and talking bad about him. Turns out it was a guy in a wheelchair. I dont know if I want to return thinking about what trash has been talked about me after I had to walk away from the appointment. Unfortunately I dont have anywhere else to go because, again, I dont have much money so going to a new office would be more expensive than trying to continue here as an established patient.

Well, when I read the other review I was a bit concerned. However, I must say it was a very favorable visit. The front desk staff Rachel and Elizabeth where extremely professional, friendly and make me feel so welcomed. The wait time was not long at long, after I completed the paper work I was shortly called in and my visit with Dr. Jose Rivera was excellent.

The office is nice and clean. The staff are friendly, professional, and helpful. They make sure their patients feel safe and as comfortable as possible. Mindful behavioral healthcare has all the pros you look for in a doctors office.

The one star is for the staff at the front desk. Very sweet and tried to be helpful. My doctor sent me here to see a psychiatrist for something called medication management. After my family doctor retired, I saw a succession of doctors that all gave me prescriptions and some interacted bad with others and left me with brain fog.Very dirty place. A cigarette butt on the carpet, unraveling carpet, dirty stained baseboards, and three waiting rooms with people crammed in. Even a vending machine in the waiting room!!!! They dont want to miss a chance to make a buck I guess. 3 hours total for a half hour appointment. When I expressed my displeasure at the wait to the doctor, are said if I continued to be hostile to her, she wouldnt treat me. Really!! This is a psychiatrist who, I assume, sees people with serious conditions all day, and she cant take a little criticism? My appointment consisted of her typing my answers from a questionnaire that I had filled out into a computer. Never looked at me.When I went to check out, the police and fire department were in the waiting room. A woman had attempted suicide in the waiting room............because of her 3 hour wait, maybe?I am a counselor who gets asked for referrals ever day. This is one place that I wont go back to and will never, ever refer anyone to!!!!!

Alright Ive read these reviews and I hope to address them with my own. I too have seen turn over but Ive experienced that in most businesses, and even in my own life. Change is inevitable and all of life a transition. The good news is that the wonderful and caring staff, led by their founder Dr Charneco, are here to lead you through lifes transitions. She has helped me in ways I could never encapsulate but I can tell you as Mindful has transitioned and grown so have I with their support. I hope this review helps you as much as the staff at Mindful have helped me. Namaste

This place is incredible. The staff is courteous, polite and always smiling. Miriam is amazing and so is Dr Ruiz. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Front office runs good. Girls are on top of everything. But the doctors make you wait a min of an hour. Doctor should be more considerate. Its ridiculous

Best described as a McDonalds of mental health. They pack in as many people as possible and get you out as fast as possible. Clearly their focus is making money and not so much quality of care. Hands down the WORST experience I have ever had.

This is a great place if you like waiting an hour or more past your appointment to be seen. Super packed & they dont know how to run an office or at least schedule appointments accordingly. What a joke. Avoid at all costs....

The mindful behavioral healthcare is amazing. The people it the front were so reasonable. And found my medical record faster then any doctors office.

Horrible experience , very rude personal and the nice professional ones ive never seen again , horrible customer service !!!! new front desk girls are all very rude and always have attitude towards me and other patients very unprofessional , medical assistants and check outs girls are very professional and have great work ethic .this place not only has rude front desk girls , not only do they reschedule and cancel your appointments as they please but they also charge you for made up no shows, supervisors are not problem solvers they belittle both staff & patients . really hope the front desk personal gets changed and they better as a company

Awful place. They will add to your mental health problems, not alleviate them. They blatantly lie.

The front staff is very nice and friendly and they work in a timely fashion. The clinicians were also very compassionate. Although there is a lot of construction, the area is very nice and is a growing area.

I have Hurd nothing but excellent experience from mindful, I know amazing staffs that actually have a passion and the heart to help others. With that alone I do believe that this office will do amazing things now and in the near future with the growth that it has in plans.

They seem to be a pill dispensary my wife came here for help and is now in a substance abuse rehab because the Doctor seems to believe or just push pills rather then focus on the problem! Apparently if someone says they are ADHD they will write you a script for Vivance or if you say you are bipolar or depressed they will write you a script for Xanax and will up them when ever they ask! My wife has had a substance abuse problem since 18 if the Doctor cared about the patient they would know her past and would not prescribe meds that might trigger her addiction! I recommend that anyone looking for help to fix there problem or be helped with depression go elsewhere if you are looking for pills this is your place!

Horrible horrible care! We called 5 times to get help when my son was having issues and was in the hospital and NO ONE called back. But miss an appointment and they somehow find the phone. They don’t care they just write prescriptions!!! Go elsewhere!

Let me first start by saying that I am a nurse and was working towards my MD before my physical illness. So, I feel I am qualified to review this places service as a client and from a medical perspective.I would not wish this place on my worst enemy. My first appointment was a lady asking a lot of questions.She never clarified her part, or her conclusions. She stated with whom she wanted me to meet, but did not tell me who they were (counselor, Doctor, etc).So, I arrived to my second appointment, and it was with a student Physician Assistant. She gave me some medications. I questioned her many times because I knew two of them were the same medication. However, I have a physical problem and sometimes certain medications interact and I have to use multiple ones to achieve the same effect.I went about life and within a short period of time I started to really struggle. Depressed, angry, and my moods were all over the place. I came back in to see someone because of these sudden issues. The Nurse Practitioner said I was not supposed to be on those two medications!!! She even said that the student P.A. should never have put me on both medications and that I was lucky it did not hurt me. That explained all the sudden mental changes. Well thank goodness I went back in to the office as quickly as I did.From the start of this process there was no communication and direction. I kept asking what their process was, and what they diagnosed me with to give me the medications. No one answered my questions and worst of all they never scheduled me to see a counselor to talk to me about any of this. Just kept putting me with medical staff and throwing pills at me.The last appointment that I had, the Nurse Practitioner, recommended I put magnets on my head and have electricity run through them to stimulate my brain. UMMMM NO FREAKING WAY!!!!I have followed up with another establishment and asked them their opinion of what happened at Mindful Behavior. More than one of the counselors and psychiatrists said, in a professional way, that Mindful Behavior are a bunch of quacks! You are a number there and they do not care. They see so many people and throw pills at people instead of helping people. It is all about the money and seeing as many people as possible and treatments that are not needed, required, or even recommended. Hence, the brain stimulating treatment they tried to get me to do. My current therapist could not believe what happened to me at Mindful Behavior. I am also currently seeking legal counsel due to the medications that put me in danger that they prescribed. My current counselor does not believe any medications whatsoever.Please BEWARE and do NOT go to Mindful Behavior. There are so many other places where you can get real help.

I was not even allowed to ask questions. There was no observation. I just have to fill out this form. This isnt a counseling session I have other patients waiting.The wait time varies from 20 minutes to 3 hours.The scheduling is done in a very strange way. You can get an appointment as soon as 1.5 months from now. But if you know someone in the office, you can come in the next day.Check the individuals posting the positive reviews. Somehow a lot of them show up as medical personnel, nurses, etc.

Everyone was super nice. The experience with Mindful Behavioral Healthcare was amazing. It did take a while. BUT they REALLY did do a good job.

I love my daughters doctor but the front desk is absolutely horrible im still trying to get ahold of someone after calling and being on hold for over an hour

I just brought my neice here for her appointment. We live an hour away. They tell her that they switched her provider so her appointment is actually tomorrow.They also lied and said they called repeatedly and left messages. THAT IS AN OUTRIGHT LIE! They did call yesterday AND CONFIRM HER APPOINTMENT FOR TODAY! Its a shame that they receive GOVERNMENT money to be INCOMPETENT! It is also a shame that people are forced to TOLERATE this treatment! Awful! Awful! Awful!

Whenever I go to this office everybody is always polite and so amazing to every patient. Its not like any other physiatrist Ive ever attended. They actually take their time with each patient and help them beyond measures.

Just left this place in tears..... I should of known better .....the few times Ive been there countless of patients. ...... have been approached. .. on no show fees...... ive worked in the medical field so i now that Dr offices have a right to charge .........from the first visit it was made very clear that you will be charged a no show charge if you miss in appointment ...... so I totally new to avoid at all possible not to miss any appointments...... (I cant afford any additional fees) ...... but this is a mental health facility and one of my symptoms is forgetfulness. ..... they confirm your appointment a week away from your appointment. ..... I can barely remember where I park my car when I go shopping. ....... anyways as I approached front desk to be checked in for my appointment I was told that I had a previous no show and had to pay a fee...... I was in disbelief. .... because I didnt know I missed an appointment.In the previous offices that Ive worked in if the person was sincere, or if you can tell it was an honest mistake ..... the staff would ask the manager and work with the patient. ..... especially if it was a first offenseI was left speechless and I was so upset I held back my tears and cancelled all my appts.Any other Dr facility I can understand but a mental health facility should be well aware that most of there patients there will be a possibility that they can forget things......I recommend that they update there software system to confirm appointments the day before.. ...One question I have is why I didnt receive a bill or a notice that I missed an appointment?Totally caught me off guard and ..... totally embarrassed me in front of other patients. ...... because our conversation at no time was in held in private there was patients standing right next to me and sitting by the front desk area.Very disappointed with this facility

My experience in Mindful behavioral was great! the wait was long but it was worth it in the end. I would recommend this to anyone if they ask.

The only reason why I’m giving a two star is because of scheduling. My initial reason for making an appointment was for therapy. I went for the evaluation and it went well. Staff was great. I scheduled my two appointments which was for therapy and Med management. The appointment was set out a little too far in advance about a month 1/2 but since this was my first time seeking therapy I figured I’d wait. Today was supposed to be my therapy appt and I got a call in the morning stating the therapist was sick and I’d have to reschedule. So at first I was unhappy about it but you can’t blame someone for being sick. So I told the staff member I’d have to call back to reschedule. I called back and I advised I needed an appt time for the afternoon. I was given a date all the way in July which was too much of an inconvenience. I asked if that was the soonest and they stated in fact it was the soonest they had. I ended up canceling my Med management appt only because this is my first time seeking help I didn’t feel comfortable going to an appt for medication without properly getting therapy first. I can understand the office being busy but they need to do something about scheduling appt’s. It’s not fair having to wait so long just to see someone. I’d also like to note that it’s not okay to reschedule my appt months in advance when the reason for the reschedule was not even my fault to begin with.
