I typically dont feel inclined to leave a review unless I feel that it is absolutely necessary. This review encompasses my entire experience with Evergreen Health ENT.My experience with Dr. Brockenbrough was extremely short lived. I primarily worked with resident doctor. During the exam, the resident reviewed my systems, and used the otoscope in my ears. He stated that my ears had some wax blocking my membrane and said, “I can clean your ears at the end if you would like.” Also being in the medical field, I know that if I offer a patient a service and I do not provide the fee of service, the patient feels that it is included in the $260 visit fee. Under the ethical code of patient autonomy, the provider should list the COST, benefits and alternatives to treatment.The visit concluded and the resident said he will clean my ears now. We went to another room where he used a vacuum assisted cleaner on my ears. I could tell he had only used this machine a hand-full of times because he was inducing pain to my tympanic membrane. He realized that he was causing me pain and called Dr. Brockenbrough in to assist him. The whole ear cleaning transaction took roughly 10 minutes.When I received my bill from EvergreenHealth, I was shocked to see a charge of $176.00 for the ear cleaning. While I completely understand the charge of $260 for an initial exam, I do not feel it is fair to offer a service to a patient and not give them a fee for service.I have submitted a verbal dispute and a written dispute on the issue and have received no response. Instead, I just received a final notice bill. How absolutely infuriating and disrespectful.Thus, Im writing this as a warning for future patients, if you choose to visit this office. Be aware that there may be hidden charges. I would advise you to take precaution and ask for ALL charges ahead of time to avoid this issue.

I had an appointment with Dr. Brockenbrough and was impressed with how quickly everything happened. After checking in at the front desk, I hadnt even completed filling out my paperwork before a nurse moved me to a patient room. After the nurse left, I continued filling out my paperwork, and then Dr. Brockenbrough arrived and provided a great evaluation of my ears, nose, and throat. I was in and out of EvergreenHealth in 30 minutes!Be sure to follow the directions the receptionist shares when you make your appointment. There are two ENT clinics in the EvergreenHealth area, and I ended up starting at the other one by following the pin used on Google Maps (they said this happens daily). It is NOT the 440 suite on the tan floor. This specific ENT office is on the other side of the roundabout from the taller Evergreen building in suite 400. Check with the information desk when you enter the building just to make sure youre in the right place before heading up the elevators just in case (and if you end up at the wrong ENT, it took 5 minutes or less to get to the correct one).

Bad experience. I was told my appointment was at 9 am. Even on the reminder call it said 9 am. Even for 8 miles, when navigation showed 20 mins travel time, I left home at 8:15 to make sure to reach before 8:45. Reached at 8:40, completed the paperwork in 5 minutes. Waited from 8:45 to 9:10 and asked at reception. I was told that my appointment is at 9:30 and not 9. The clinic has a policy to call patients coming for the first time 30 minutes before their appointment in case paperwork takes more time. I was sitting here waiting for about 45 minutes and saw almost all of the people who came after me, getting called inside. No value of patients time.
