Dr.Cook was my OB for both my babies. With my second pregnancy being during the covid pandemic, I was double minded about taking the vaccine, but Dr.Cook confidently told me to take it as the benefits far outweigh the risk and eased my mind about any side effects. I am so glad I took the vaccines. He patiently answered all my questions. He and his team always replies to any of my concerns via email even if it end of day or weekends. He is very friendly. I delivered my second baby during midnight when he was not oncall, but he came first thing in the morning to check on me and the new baby. I highly recommend Dr.Cook.

Dr.Cook has delivered all three of my babies. My first child was an emergency C section due to her being breach. We feel so blessed that Dr cook was the doctor on call and performed my C-section. Dr. Cook and his staff really are the best! I am newer to the area and I chose him solely based on his excellent reviews. It was my first pregnancy and the experience was truly great. He takes his time at your appointments, and actually sits and listen to you. He’s got a great bedside manner & sense of humor. He really cares about his patients, and most importantly he’s so knowledgable. He’s very evidence based practice, and takes time to explain his views on things and does it in a reassuring manner. His nurse Carmen is so sweet and has a way of making you feel comfortable when you’re worried about something. His MA Libby is so personable too... I will miss seeing them so often, but will definitely choose them for my future pregnancies!

My sister and a friend both referred me to Dr. Cook. They both had wonderful experiences with him and so did I. He is extremely knowledgable and with this being my first pregnancy I was pretty anxious throughout but he eased my worries by clearly explaining everything. I came to each appointment with a list of questions and he answered them thoroughly and patiently. Dr. Cook is an excellent OBGYN!! I entered Evergreen as a patient recovering from a miscarriage and my subsequent pregnancy had some abnormalities early on. I was always respected and listened to, my fears and concerns were always addressed and validated. He consistently went above and beyond. He stayed late to review ultrasound findings with my partner and I and it meant a lot during a sensitive time. We decided to have a scheduled c-section with cook because of my history (a very damaging VBAC with my second) and we were in and out in under an hour holding our beautiful baby boy. He was respectful of our privacy and listened when my pain was not being managed well. He follows a patient centered approach and is present. Couldnt be happier! Not to mention Evergreens labor & delivery unit is beautiful and everyone there is amazing. Out of all three of my pregnancies this was by far the best and the easiest recovery. Thank you Dr. Cook!

When I first found out I was pregnant, my friend referred me to Dr. Cook. She said I would love him and she was definitely right. He guided us through our entire pregnancy with his since of humor and extensive knowledge. He has a unique way of easing all anxiety and overall makes sure you’re taken care of. Luckily, he was able to deliver our son and we are so thankful he was our doctor. I’m sure all doctors at Evergreen Health are amazing but I am certain he is the best.

I tried getting dr.cook with all three of my pregnancy but was finally able to with my last baby. He is an amazing doctor and now I can see why everyone wants him! He was always so easy to talk to & really made me feel comfortable from the first visit to delivery day! Dr. Cook was my OBGYN for both of my pregnancies and I would never go to anyone else! He is very knowledgeable about everything and you always know that you can trust his expertise. Dr.Cook did my D&C surgery and then sent me home. For the following month, I kept having viginal bleeding and its getting worse and worse. I should have stopped within a week after the surgery. I went back several times to see him but all he told me was to wait and see how things goes. Then 2 days after my last appointment, I ended up with massive bleeding in the ER and when they did an ultrasound, they say somethings still in my uterus. I was shocked and so terrified since they want to do another D&C to me. Then Dr.cook came in and talked with the ultrasound physician, then they said oh they theres actually nothing in the uterus and prescribed me pills and send me home (Im not sure if thats the case, but it seems like Dr.cook has a word in the hospital and he changed the ultrasounds result.). I dont want to go home since im still bleeding heavily, so I end up hospitalized for one night.Since I lost a lot of blood, they put me on iron IV for the whole night, and I had extremely low blood pressure, I even thought Id die that night.The worst part comes! After I get out of the hospital, Im still bleeding everyday. It seriously bothered my life and I could do nothing but just staying at home and watch “How things goes.so I decided to go back to Dr. Cook again. When he hears me call again, he immediately scheduled me to do another ultrasound(thats apparently different from other appointment calls). Then at the ultrasounds, they told me theres actually something in my uterus. Wow! So what happens when we were back in ER? Why cant you admit you didnt do a good job in my D&C surgery? Why didnt you point that out in the hospital that you left something in my uterus, but now in your clinic, you say theres something after another week! Why would you do this to your patient? At that moment, I was devastated and they ask me to do a surgery immediately at the clinic without any anesthetic treatment! I ended up suffering another time in extremely pain and fear.The following year, I kept receiving these expensive extra charge bills from the ob office and they are even putting anther D&C on me.I just hope I never steppin in that room to meet him two years ago. It was still traumatic to me nowadays. For people who can delivery without any problem, go ahead and choose him, because he takes all the easy credit. For woman who has problems and concerns, or even miscarries.

Dr. Cook is the best! I have had him for both of my pregnancies and am so grateful for him and his awesome team. Dr. Cook is personable, knowledgeable and very skilled. He comes highly recommended by everyone (including nurses) and I couldnt agree more.

You might be wondering if some of these reviews are fake, because an OBGYN with this many reviews and 5 stars seems crazy, but it’s not. Dr. Cook is fantastic! He is friendly and has a great sense of humor as well as being extremely competent as a doctor. He was always able to answer our questions and offered his opinions in a constructive, nonjudgemental manner. He stays up to date with recent medical studies and is very knowledgeable. He was calm and confident in the delivery room and made us feel the same. My husband and I feel very lucky that he delivered our baby. Word to the wise: he books up fast, so call early! 100% recommend.

I dont recommend this Ob-gyn and am having a hard time understanding the rave reviews. I dont feel that he is emotionally attuned and he doesnt share information about physical changes during pregnancy and labor that would best help a woman prepare. In summary, he seems to know little about womens bodies and how to optimize womens physical health during and after pregnancy--one of those typical OBs that dismisses things as a side effect of pregnancy that happens to everyone. Im happy to provide more information via individual message about my experience, but I really am shocked at all of the positive reviews.I selected him for my first baby because of his great reviews. At first he seemed nice and easygoing, which I appreciated, but as the pregnancy progressed I didnt feel cared for well. He seemed to be hurried on the later stages and didnt feel the need to fully talk through concerns I had. For example, I said my blood pressure is naturally low and I am worried how my body will do with the epidural, and he said dont worry about it we have meds to raise your bp. Well lo and behold after I got the epidural my BP was like 80/40 and the meds barely helped raise it, leading to a few stalled hours of labor trying to get it figured out (it never really got figured out, I just felt awful). Maybe if he had trusted my concern we could have figured out a backup plan together.I felt neglected and dismissed after a traumatic delivery that left me with severe tearing and incontinence. I was also extremely disappointed by the lack of information communicated to me about the changes that would happen to my body in pregnancy and labor- and if I had had that information, perhaps I would have sought more preventative treatment and/or selected an alternate form of delivery. For example, I learned after the birth that I had a mild to moderate type of prolapse before I gave birth, which he never noticed or commented on--and as a result, my difficult labor severely exacerbated this. I believe it is negligent of OB-GYNs to not at least be able to identify prolapse, which would give expecting moms vital information. He never mentioned pelvic floor therapy to me to prepare for birth, and he never referred me to PT after my birth--I had to ask for it! He seemed confused that I was experiencing incontinence after birth and had no explanation for it, despite the fact that many women I know with severe tearing had some type of fecal incontinence for some time post birth. And I was cleared for all activity at 6 weeks post birth becusse my stitches were fully healed, but when I tried finger penetration at 8 weeks, I had some bleeding and a lot of pain. After reaching out to some friends with severe tearing, their doctors recommended waiting till at least 12 weeks before attempting anything because deep tears take much longer than 6 weeks to heal, even if the stitches look healed on the outside. Very frustrating. I could give more examples than this.So now Im a 27 year old first time mom trying to take care of a baby while leaking poop and dealing with moderate prolapse--and Although a lot of labor is out of everyones control, I believe some of the issues Im struggling with could have really been prevented with better care from him. All in all, I definitely wouldnt recommend him for a first time mom, and certainly not for a mom who wants to optimize her body for a vaginal birth. Seek out another doctor who knows more about how your body will change and can give you tips on how to prepare, and will really listen to your concerns when you bring them up instead of minimize.

Dr.Cook was my doctor for both my pregnancies. I got pre-eclampsia in my first pregnancy which he caught on time and handled well. He is good listener and answers all questions to his best. My second pregnancy was in 2020 and it went pretty smooth with his help. He has great bedside manner too, which i believe is must for anxious to be mommas.

We saw Dr. Cook through the pregnancy for our first baby. When I look for a doctor, the most important qualities I look for are intelligence and subject matter expertise. The rest of the qualities are secondary for me because I used to be of the opinion that no one doctor can know their s **t, AND be a great communicator, AND have a great bed side manner, AND be kind and empathetic all at once. Dr. Cook, however, pleasantly surprised us. He possesses all of the above qualities and as a bonus, has the absolute best sense of humor to go with. Great Doctor, Highly recommended. We tried multiple providers before meeting him and wasted around two year with useless results. I had planned an out-of-hospital birth for my first child who was born earlier this year. At my 36 week appointment with my midwife we found out that I had a medical complication requiring me to go to the hospital. During that stay it was advised that I select an OB and deliver in one week at the hospital. Our midwife team recommended Dr. Cook. Im so glad they did! Dr. Cook understood that I was not planning a hospital birth and helped me retain as much of that experience as possible. He was incredibly flexible with my requests while also ensuring mine and my babys health. I highly recommend Dr. Cook and would use him for a future delivery.

Dr. Cook is a very skilled, experienced, and compassionate physician. I work in the medical industry and I have yet to meet a finer professional. Dr. Cook helped me through a very difficult time. Some evenings after office hours, he would even call me to discuss our plan of care and to answer my questions or to just reassure me he would do everything he could to get me through my ordeal....and he did. He is generous with his time and knowledge and can explain some of the most difficult medical terms in a manner that is very easy to understand. I owe a tremendous amount of gratitude to Dr. Cook as my final medical outcome was very good.

I had a high risk pregnancy that had me switching from midwifery to OB while I was admitted at Evergreen for preeclampsia and preterm labor. It was the hardest time in my life but Dr. Cook, who took me on as a patient at 33 weeks, made me feel safe and cared for the whole time I was admitted in the Antepartum unit. He came to check on me every single day he was working. He ultimately didnt get to deliver my baby because my water broke while he wasnt on call, but he still came to see me and my baby while we were in the NICU. At my 6 week follow up he advised me to come see him before we start trying for baby number two so we can try to prevent complications the next time.

I just cant say enough about Dr. Cook- what a great doctor ! He is very compassionate and takes wonderful care of his patients. He makes you feel at ease, listens to you, never makes you feel rushed and, if necessary, he goes way above and beyond his way to provide you with the best care possible. Thank you !

Don’t even bother looking for a better OBGYN. DR. Cook is the real deal. He has a way of making you feel perfectly comfortable with his balance of calm and wit. He will seriously have you laughing! Most importantly, I could always tell that Dr. Cook was confident. If things were to go awry, you want a doctor that is confident! Dr. Cook managed my high risk pregnancy (I have type 1 diabetes) from start to finish for my 3rd child and I could not have made a better choice. His office and nursing staff are also very organized and on top of their communications, which is just as important as having a good doc. Dr. Cook is a world class surgeon. I grew up in Europe, lived in Montreal, Canada for fourteen years, and this was the best experience with a doctor I have ever had.I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy performed by Dr. Cook a month ago. He is easy to talk to and spends as much time as you need to understand your situation, options, benefits and risks. I trusted his opinion the moment he started talking. He truly knows what he is talking about. I had a few large fibroids that were making my life a living hell. The surgery was much easier than I had expected. I only needed Ibuprofen for pain and was back on my feet very quickly. Dr. Cook is the most outstanding gynecologist a patient could ask for. There are not enough words for me to express my gratitude. Dr. Cook and his staff are the best you will find anywhere.

Dr Cook recently did my salpingectomy (removal of tubes AKA permanent birth control). He is great! Very nice, very kind, totally trust him 100% I was referred to him after my own OB told me I was too big (fat) for the surgery. Dr Cook completely dismissed what my Dr had said and said dont let anyone tell you that its a bunch of bologna. He talks like a real person not like those Drs that wont get to the point. Very happy with him. Will recommend him to anyone and will go to him in the future. I wish he would have been my OB through my daughters pregnancy as well. 👍👍

Dr. Cook recently did my hysterectomy. The surgery was flawless and the recovery was a breeze. Having my wisdom teeth out was more painful. He is straight forward and a good communicator. Highly recommend him if you need an OBGYN

He is a great surgeon. I had three operations with him (Ovarian cyst removal, D&C and C-Section) and all of them went great. I definitely recommend him.

Like other reviewers mentioned, Dr. Cook has a great sense of humor. He delivered both of my babies and was great at assuaging any of my concerns. I also like how he is really current with medical info and uses data to help make decisions. Hes very relatable and I always looked forward to my appointments.

We have selected Dr. Cook because of google reviews and indeed he justified all his reviews. He is very talented, always on point and god send doctor. During 9 months I had low risk pregnancy but had complications with my delivery so he has to use vaccum to deliver my boy. I had a 4th degree tear which healed in 3 weeks. I am 6 weeks postpartum and feeling perfectly fine. I would recommend Dr. Cook to everyone who is looking for a provider who talks in data and facts, very kind, doesnt overwhelm you, always accurate. Thankyou Dr. Cook for delivering pur baby boy. We will always choose you for delivering our baby.

Both my husband and I love love love Dr. Cook! The best doctor, meticulous surgeon, and overall an extraordinary human being. Dr. Cook is very knowlegable, compassionate, reassuring, kind, FUNNY, easy going professional. He delivered our baby boy via CSection and a week later performed a “perfectly executed” circumcission on our son. Both recoveries are going great! Beyond grateful to have found this doctor!!!

I had pretty severe endometriosis and bounced around from dr to dr with no luck of anyone being able to help me, all while battling extreme pain. Someone referred me to Dr. Cook and he knew exactly what was needed. He listened and was compassionate and came up with a game plan that was successful. He did an excision surgery a couple years ago and then just this past September delivered my first baby via c section. Through every step I felt cared for, understood, and never rushed. He is a great doc with a good sense of humor and I have recommended him to so many women already and they have been happy with his care as well. Thank you Dr. Cook and staff!
