I recommend Ken 100%. Knowing little about insurance, I looked up Ken from Yelp, and Im so glad I did! Ken is super easy and friendly to work with, takes good care of the application, and gives constant updates about the status. I highly recommend getting your insurance from Ken.Side note is that Kens office location on Google maps is not entirely correct. Its in the same building, but the suite is on the first floor and take a left directly after you enter the building. It was a bit hard to find given the Google maps location alone.

This is as much a poor review of the WA Insurance system as it is Ken’s performance. Having had numerous bad experiences with the WA Healthplanfinder, I decided to hire a professional this year when selecting a health insurance plan. Ken came highly recommended.I had already interrogated my new doctor’s office about which insurance plans they liked using, and which they were covered under. I came to the meeting feeling well-armed with the facts. I was pretty well convinced that Premera would cover my new doctor through the Evergreen network. Ken and I discussed my situation and preferences at length. We crunched the numbers, and indeed, a Premera plan was the best fit.Ken used my WA Healthplanfinder account to deselect my old plan and select the desired new Premera plan. Unfortunately, I could not access this plan online until January 1st. I waited over two months to verify my plan and select my desired doctor under it. Unfortunately, Premera now had me under the Everett Network, not the Evergreen Network. My desired doctor was now out of network!!! I emailed Ken immediately and called Premera.Despite exhaustive pleading, Premera would not honor my preferences. The best they would do was to switch my network coverage in February, not retroactively in January. Consequently, I could only see my doctor out of network the first month. Ken’s email response was to do exactly what I had already done. I explained this occurred to no avail...In February Ken phoned back and we discussed my predicament. He explained they should have honored my request immediately. He called Premera to fix the problem. Premera’s system showed they had retroactively added me to the correct network, but nobody had informed me about this. I appreciate Ken’s follow up, but I’m still out the correct coverage for an entire month.
