Dr. Courtney Mitchell worked on me today, and he is extremely thorough. I was scheduled for a root canal because the way my tooth responded the previous visit. This visit, my nerve was responding normally, so he went through a bunch of tests to see what was really going on and discovered I dont need to have the root canal- it may be a bite issue. I fully recommend Mitchell Family Dentistry to anyone looking for a quality family of dentists. He and his wife are always SO sweet, and they are extremely good at what they do!!! They arent out to just make money, because trust me the price difference was staggering. He looked out for ME. Love them.

I switched to this dentistry as a child and I am 30 now. It is the best and most professional dentist office you will ever go to. Dr. Courtney Mitchell is such an amazing, patient, go above and beyond type of dentist. You will not be disappointed. I recommend 1000%.

Went there as a new client. Arrived 10 minutes early for my 11 o’clock appointment to fill out paperwork as a new client. Was there a total of 40 minutes and the receptionist told me the person in front of me was running over and it could be 45 minutes at least before I am seen and when I get back there I need to expect the process to take 2 hours just for X-rays and exam. This didn’t include the cleaning. She told me I could wait and once I’m back getting X-rays I could split the appointment up into 2 separate appointments for the exam to be completed. Lord knows when the cleaning appointment would be scheduled for me. I walked out and told them I would find somewhere different because having to spend at least 3 hours in a dentist office for those of us that have a job is just crazy. I found a dentist that will get me in within the next week and that appointment includes X-rays and a cleaning. Thank you Kinston Dental Care!

I cannot find words to adequately express how much I appreciate Dr. Courtney and the friendly staff at Mitchell Family Dentistry. My experience has been overwhelmingly positive. In my opinion, Dr. Courtney is professional, intelligent, easy to relate to and very detailed. He truly puts his heart into his work and appears to love what he does. He replaced an entire set of veneers for me and they look incredible. The procedure was painless and I had no anxiety. With the help of his dental assistant, Casey, I now have a perfect smile! Casey is also exceptional and very knowledgeable. She, too, has an eye for detail. They make a great team. I will continue to bring my family and refer all of my friends to this amazing office.

FRAUD ALERT!!! Fraudulent billing practices!! Went there and told them I had no dental insurance and would pay in full. Paid them and left with a receipt showing it was paid and no balance due. A month later I get bill showing they tried to file against insurance I have not had in 5 years and are trying to steal money from me and saying I owe them.

I would describe the staff at Mitchell Family Dentistry as being great. They all work hard to make their patients feel comfortable during their appointments. It sure exceeds my expectations for a great dental practice.

Im in my 50s and I have had a lot of biting problems to the point where it was waking me up at night. Dr. Mitchell suggested braces, I wasnt sure it was going to be worth it but it has helped to cure the problem.
