I transferred to Pine Street a couple of years ago after hearing great things about them. I called & asked if they had gas (nitrous oxide) for procedures and they assured me they did. Of course I pay extra, as insurance doesnt cover it. I ended up having root canal & a tooth extraction requesting gas with all. First time I was hooked up, but nothing came through. Then I saw the root canal dr. and they installed a special plug so I could get gas. Nothing. NOTHING COMES OUT!! I have complained over and over and am told everything is right; the gauges are correct etc., that they have had it fixed. Trust me, there is NOTHING but oxygen coming out. And they dont believe me and charge me anyway. They make me feel crazy. I have been told by other dentists that I am not alone in saying something about the gas malfunctioning but nothing changes. I have gotten gas for 50 years and I know gas. Its the only thing that works for me. I know. I have been told that they used to have a permanent set-up in the basement but have gone over to this portable machine. IT DOESNT WORK! I am trying to find out who to ask for an investigation. How many people are paying and not getting anything?? I need to resolve this or find another dentist (and my dentist is great). How on earth do I prove that theres SOMETHING WRONG??? And I am getting ripped off along with God knows how many more. Is this FRAUD?

Claudia is the absolute best! She is professional, she makes it fun (as fun as a dental appointment can be!), she is super patient and easy to talk to. Love her!

This review is for the front desk, not the dentist, whom I was unable to see. I called with an emergency dental situation. Im new to the area and have not found a dentist yet. Without an iota of empathy the receptionist informs me that:1. The dentist cant address my situation unless I become a full patient and submit to a full intake.2. They ave nothing available for the next 2 days.What part of emergency did this woman not relate to? She earnestly sounded like she did not give two ducks. Not the best front line for a dentist office where most are already fraught with anxiety.Empathy training.

Every time I go for a cleaning Missy is excellent, and informative. Dr Yuen usually stops by to see how things are going, he is a gentle dentist so glad to have found them years ago. The receptionist are always friendly. This office always makes me feel like I am part of the family.

I think dentist visits generally have more to do with what you are getting done rather than the atmosphere or environment (why so many of us dread going, I suspect). That said, Ive had multiple cavities filled and a crown put in during my visits here the last several years and Ive never had a bad experience. Dr Yuen and his staff are professional, courteous and willing to chat about basketball or the walking dead for a couple of minutes during the whole process. Best of all for me at least, I go during work hours usually and I never feel like a minute is wasted there. There is rarely any wait at all and they move quickly and efficiently. Its hard to get excited for a dentist visit, but they make this as physically and emotionally pain free as possible.

Ive never had a bad experience with this office, and Ive been coming for 25+ years. Everyone is competent, professional and treats me as a person with an identity. Even when seeing a substitute for my favorite Bruce Hottum, I have been treated in a kind and competent manner. I had a history of dental anxiety, and it no longer exists with this office.

I have had an excellent experience with Dr. Yuen and Erin, who together endeavored to complete two very difficult repairs both in hard to get at areas. Once again they have exceeded expectations, and I felt comfortable, and confident throughout the procedure. Also their work really lasts!

My husband and I have been Dr. Hottums patients at Pine Street Dental for almost 30 years. He has always been professional, knowledgeable and personable. The staff at the front desk, the Dental Assistants and the Hygienists are top notch. Pine Street Dental is exactly what a health-related practice should be like!

I think Dr Steres is great---- very friendly and warm. I also had a hygienist whom was literally the sweetest most patient and informative person ever. Great office!

Excellent service when I was a new patient. I had a tooth break, and they got me in for a consultation with Dr. Elashker later in the week. She was very thorough and informative with her overall exam. I was pleased to get a call the next morning at 9am to schedule my oral surgery with Dr. Schachter to remove the broken tooth later that day. The dental assistants and treatment coordinators were also very helpful and compassionate. The staff was also helpful and got back to me when I called with follow up questions and needed a prescription called in while I was away on vacation. It is a big busy office, but they still gave me personal attention and calmed me down when I was nervous, and ran on time as well. I would recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Great staff, they have helped me with insurance billing issues. I deeply miss Dr. Hottum.

Myself and my whole family have been patients at Pine Street Dental for the past 10 years with Dr. Elashker. Everyone in the office are just amazing and superb. The front desk are always smiling, and welcoming, and all staff, technicians, and Dr. Elashker are just amazing. I would highly recommend them with no reservation.They actually make the dentist visit a pleasure! what more could one say :)

I am a terrified of dental appointments. It is almost a primal thing where I am overcome by fear, much worse when I must interact with a stranger. My regular hygienist had left the practice and I was forced to deal with someone new. Worse yet. I had to have xrays, which is pure torture for me as having someone in my mouth leaves me overcome with claustropobia and terror. Jessica, the hygienist, was a consummate professional. Under her care I became almost relaxed. I highly recommend her as well as Dr, Yuan, my long-time dentist.

At Pine Street Dental, going to the dentist is a good experience. I did not like going to the dentist until I went to Pine Street Dental. The staff from dentists, and assistants to reception and billing are friendly and professional. They talk with the patients and explain options.

The BEST dentist office in the 845! Very professional and personable staff! Communication is on point on every level! The dental hygienist Jessica is AWESOME! They are the farest most gental dentist office, and you can trust them to do what you ask! I jumped ship from my old dentist to come to Pine Street Dental, and will never look back!

Friendly front desk and exit personnel. Clear descriptions of both financial commitment and dental procedures. Both dentists (Dr. Stears for regular dental work and Dr. Erlich for implant) were professional and provided excellent dental care. I have had several implants over the years with a Massachusetts dentist, and Dr. Erlichs implant was the first time I had such an easy time. No pain, almost no swelling, no bruising. He worked slowly and carefully. I had put off transferring my dental work from know dentists, and can honestly say I have been very fortunate to have landed with these providers.

Dr Greenwald and Lynn always take good care of me. I like his conservative approach to problems, and her friendly and caring attitude.

Ive always had great, professional, thoughtful, gentle experiences.

Unwilling to take me in an emergency. Thanks for nothing.
