I recently had Lasik with Dr. Cheema, and I cant speak highly enough about the experience. For one, the entire staff is incredible. Everyone is warm and caring, and it makes the experience of being in a doctors office so relaxed and comfortable. Dr. Cheema himself is knowledgeable, professional, and so personable. I was of course nervous about the procedure, but on the day of, the team made it so easy and stress free. They talked me through the whole process while it was happening and helped me stay relaxed. I couldnt be more thrilled with the results. Its beyond amazing to see so clearly without glasses or contacts. Im so grateful for the whole Cheema Eye Care team!

I was recommended by a friend to go to Dr. Cheema. He is very knowledgeable, has up to date equipment and is very thorough. His staff was professional and friendly as well. They are highly focused on time management but make time for the patients.

I have been a patient of Dr Cheema for many years, back to the days when he was originally located in Saugerties NY. He is an excellent doctor. This past visit was somewhat extraordinary because I ended up waiting nearly 90 minutes beyond my scheduled appointment time due to an unexpected procedure that had to be done on an earlier patient. These things happen and I do not blame the doctor. But it was an unfortunate delay.

Excellent attentive staff and professional care!I was disappointed however to learn that my cataracts had once again not developed enough for insurance to cover cataract removal and that due to my developing cataracts and slowly growing condition of dry macular degeneration, no new prescription for eyeglasses would help my failing sight.Was given an appointment with Dr Cheema in 6 months to reassess at that time.

The staff was friendly and i didnt feel rushed. they take time to answer questions and address any concerns. i had a traumatic childhood experience so i hate eyedrops or things really close to my eyes but had to get dialated so i was nervous. they were kind and patient and i did my best to get it done and was able to due to the understanding and nonjudgemental care i received. that might make some ppl laugh or judge me but idc. im comfortable knowing some ppl will laugh at me for what they dont understand. the point is that this dr office is great and caring and i highly reccomend them. thank you dr cheema and your staff. see you next year lol

It was a pleasure to meet Dr. Cheema. As a designer of Vastu Architecture from India, I naturally observed the energy and layout of the office and was very impressed. What I later observed, was that Lily Neu did not wash her hands before touching my face/eyes to administer the eyedrops. Dr. Cheema did wash his hands before putting the second drops into my eyes. At the end of the appointment, I was in no position to drive due to dilation, but simultaneously felt stomach upset for about 45 minutes. Because I do not take western medicines or chemicals at all, the only thing I could relate the discomfort to, was the combination of the Tetracaine and Tropicamide. I carry homeopathic Oscillococcinum pellets and Ginger Tea with me, so both of these helped to regaina sense of balance again. My only recommendation is for Hand Washing before touching anyone in any procedure - to be paramount because unless the tablet, computer, writing instruments are disinfected, we are at risk of any bacteria being transferred on to us,especially during this time of Co-Vid19.Thank you.

I appreciated that everyone there was kept a distance apart. Nobody was in the witing room because as soon as all info was taken I was put in an examining room. However, wait there was very long. I should have brought reading material.

My eye get worse one week after the first appointment and treatment with 2 different drops this Dr. prescribed to me. He doesn’t explain which is the problem, no spend time with the patient, almost not talk.After the first week using his prescription my eye get worse with very blurry vision.I had the second appointment a week ago, he prescribed me again one of the same drops for 2 weeks, but my eye is not better, my eye is worse. I am very worry and disappointed.

I want to share the great experience I had at this practice.I arrived with a mild eye injury the local urgent care could not fully treat. I did not have an appointment but they said they could squeeze me in between other patients.The receptionist was exceptional and pleasant and said she hoped I felt better. The assistant said the same thing. Dr Cheema treated my eye quickly, professionally and is a great guy. I’ve never had a more pleasant experience at a Drs office. Really. The office appears brand new and everyone seems happy to be there.Thanks.

This is in regards to the rude older sounding woman at the west hurley office. She is extremely argumentative, and always has attitude like its the time of her month 365 days a year. That poor woman. Lol. Must suck to be her. To wake up every day so angry. Why do you allow a woman so bitter with no customer service working here? She also leaves you on hold for an outlandish amount of time. The eye dilating makes me very sick. She is telling me I have to have this done because I am a diabetic. I can sort of understand what the witch is saying however. I just had my eyes dilated a month and a half ago, in which the office in Sidney N.Y. faxed you guys all this information. Sounds to me like you just want to milk the insurance lol.
