Very unprofessional way of handling things, if you even get in. My daughter’s counselor rescheduled several times for “not having paperwork” that I was not even aware of or asked to provide. The first scheduled appointment I was physically in her office when she informed me that she wouldn’t be able to see my daughter(who was in the waiting room) that day due to not having a paper signed that I did not know about until that moment. They then rescheduled her for several weeks later. The morning of this appointment, I got a call that the appointment was cancelled. The counselor apparently needed time to review paperwork that she already had. I even called the week prior to confirm everything was good to go and was told it was. Getting a phone call 2.5 hours before an appointment to cancel it for a reason that is not feasible is unacceptable. My daughter was here since April, leaves in mid August, and will never have met with her counselor. Ridiculous.

I called the office and was told that they didnt take any government insurance such as medicaid or medicare. I have Humana PPO and Humana site showed that they took my insurance. I contacted Humana and told them to remove them from their site. I also told the intake person at Chupik that they need to update their site because it says that they take both of my insurances. The lady was not helpful and very discouraging.

Jessica Hendrix is a fabulous therapist. She is compassionate, understanding, and challenging as well. I have been to a few therapists in my life, including Chupik herself. Jessica has by far been more impactful in a much shorter period of time.
