I have been coming here for the last 3 years. I go to Lee every time and she has always given me the best expierence and best haircut in the area, but their hair cut prices have gone up. Even though they have raised their prices up several times over the time I have been going here, I still give them a 5 star review because they really do give great haircuts.

Nice and clean place, I got charged $26.0 just for trimming my beard???!!! Never come back here, I do not recommend this place at all specially Fort Hood area.

Very nice people. Great location if you work on post and want a High & Tight. If you want anything other than a High & Tight, or ask for anything other than a High and Tight you are still likely to receive some variant of a High & Tight. Shop with confidence if you look good with a High and Tight!

Most of the barbers are good. But there is one barber in particular that rushes through all of her cuts. Every time I’m unlucky enough To get this barber, I ask for a fade….. she does not fade. She always leave a solid patchy line around my head. Incase you’re wondering which one it is, don’t sit in the far left chair….

Came in they were super nice and welcoming. I asked for a medium skin fade with a hard part the barber did an amazing job and made sure it up to perfection, I highly recommend this barber shop, to anyone who wants a high quality cut with such welcoming people.

It took 37 seconds to destroy my hair. My hard part looks like Ray Charles or Helen Keller did it. My take a quarter of a inch off the top turned to a inch and a half and “skin fade” apparently means drag a cheap disposable .99 cent 2 blade razor all over my head as fast as humanly possible.

Well, the haircut was good, and there was no wait. Thats about it. Worth 5 stars.

Absolutely the best, among all the rest around

First of all, the business looks super nice and clean on the inside, you will be suprised vs how the outside looks. The workers there are extremely nice. The lady who cut my hair was extremely nice. Gave me and my wife lollipops 🤣. As for the haircut itself, I got a military cut. It was basically what i wanted it to be, and well worth the 12 dollars they ask for considering you get a razor shave, hot towel, and alcohol to disinfect your hair, not to mention their service is extremely fast. 100% worth the extra two dollars over the on post barbers.

I asked for a low taped ball fade. One side low one side high... It was done super on one side and the other I have to now somehow correct to make even as it should have been. I went to them on a Sunday being new to the city. Very pushy snappy barber and asked for tip and requested tip from me. Thumbs down! Kyong was the barber!

Been coming to East Gate for 15 yrs. Tried a few of the other shops here when I first got here and found this the best of all of them. All the ladies are awesome but I have a favorite. I would highly recommend this shop for anyone looking to get a haircut or shave.

This is a good barbershop, but much can be done to make it better. The haircuts are okay, but more time can be taken with each cut. Even though they see many customers, to get people to come back you have to do a good job at your job. I went twice because maybe the first time was a fluke, but I don’t plan on returning. Maybe my experience was just bad but I’m sure there are many people with this same opinion.

Every single time I come in to see Mo and she hooks me up so I look good at work. Way better than other barbers around town. Been coming to her for 2 years now and never been disappointed

Was in Killeen visiting family and friends. Saw the reviews and decided to give this place a try. Walked in with no waiting. I was a little nervous because not every barber is experienced enough in cutting black hair. Happily, I had nothing to worry about. Superb service (excellent cut), large, airy, and clean shop; GREAT price ($11) for my feminine short ‘fro. I was so pleased I left a huge tip to the barber. I wish I’d gotten her name. She was extremely sweet, reassuring, efficient, and professional.

Been going here 20+ years fast and great hair cuts. Update for 9 May 2020, finally was able to get a hair cut today. Everything went great, you go in the front door and out the side, Most Chairs have been removed so just a few to keep distance for safety. Was glad to see Ms Lee and all the Employees were doing great and in a very good mood for being out for 2 months. If you need a haircut they are open for business.

Nice lady who worked on me did a wonderful job, and was very professional in her work (head shave). Worked quickly and without any discomfort to my head It was unlike going to one of these high end barbers like The Art of Shaving, which took a lot longer during which time the shaving cream that was applied to your head dries out, so every blade stroke just scrapes the hair off. But not here! Very pleasant experience at a good price.

Great service! Open Monday-Sunday 0630-2000. And yes, they do skin fades with Razors. That was a BIG plus for me. Not many places use them. I recommend this place to everyone. Biggest and cleanest shop near Fort Hood and Killeen.

Ive been going here for a year now and I can say that their service is very good as well as their hair cuts. When I ask for a skin fade they actually use a razor. They give massages if you want and they are open 7 days a week and there are no lines. Whenever I enter the shop I have never had to wait to be seated. They are also cheap! I would recomend to anyone. 5 stars the barbers there are also very sweet. Never had a bad day coming to them.

Eastgate Barber Shop is the best I’ve found in the Fort Hood area. There is never a long wait and all their barbers give consistently good haircuts. I’ve been going there for the last year and haven’t had a bad haircut yet. Oh yeah and the free massage is a nice bonus.

He got a clean bald shave and it was great! Looks good, the environment was really friendly, and they gave lollipops after! Loved it!Edit: My only problem is that the manager made me sit down next to her and type my review. She watched me the entire time over my shoulder and she made me post it in front of her. Heckling customers for good reviews is NOT the way to go. Ill just put my true opinion in when I get home. I left it at five stars because the lady who actually shaved his head did amazing.

Fast haircuts with most of the time no wait. Sometimes you have to be very specific as to what you want but as long as you are the ladies are very great. My girls love getting the suckers from there haha

This place is amazing! Super friendly staff. Ive been told by many barbers that my hair is hard to cut but Susie does an amazing job. Ive gotten my hair cut by one of the other barbers when shes not there and they are equally as good. My son and I dont even need to tell them how we want our hair, they remember and get the job done. It is a friendly place and you do not have to wait too long for a haircut. They give a neck massage but I am not sure if they have any certification for it. I disapproved this practice because I think that professional business have to have certificates for all services. I didnt see if employees have My husband goes all the time here and I do not like his haircuts. Sometimes it has some ups but he doesnt see it.

At first I thought it was just another Asian barber place, but the reviews did not lie; the haircut was actually one of the best Ive had in this town. Ive been to just about every barber in town and have never been satisfied with one place, but this place did an amazing job and was cheap (only $12). Will be coming back for Lee (whos been there for 20 years) as you just need to say Medium fade and she takes care of the rest (gives a touch up on top, cleans the sides, etc).
