Highly recommended. My sisters 3 boys go there, my oldest daughter go there, and yesterday I took my brothers 2 kids there. I thought they were gonna be scared cuz that the first time they go to dentist but they were excited and happy they have more extra toothbrush and toothpaste. Doctor Adam was great at explaining to us the problem and how to take care of it. Excellent customer service. The staff are friendly and very welcoming.

Cali is great! Straight to the point with what needs to be done for my keiki. As she is busy with clients, she takes the time to come out and explain what I need to know.

Took my 2 sons in today. One is 3 years old and the other is 2. There was so much trust and reliability that my sons did amazing. I cried knowing that they’re all grown up and don’t need mommy at the dentist office. But Dr. Cally is totally trustworthy and highly recommended

I have a special needs son and took him in to establish care. He has an oral aversion and definitely doesn’t make it easy for me when brushing his teeth. Of course any parent can testify how anxious it can be when taking your child to the dentist. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated with so much care and compassion. All staff members were very professional and Dr. Adams took the time to explain everything in my son’s plan of care. It’s obvious that everyone in this practice loves kids and my it was such a relief to find a practice we love.

My daughter has been going to Dr. Adams since age 2. 3 kids later Dr. Adams hands down is the best dentist for kids. Up to date equipment, clean and sanitary dentist area and awesome customer and follow up service, but most off all my daughter feels so comfortable with Dr. Adams and her staff which is a huge staff.

First time surgery for my boy and Dr Adams did an exceptional job. My kid had bad cavities and Dr Adams did an amazing job in pointing out his needs and did a great and successful surgery on him yesterday. Weeks before the surgery tho, my wife read some horrible reviews on Yelp about Dr Adams that got her nervous about it. Trust was all we did and we’re very thankful that we made the right decision. Deeply saddened by our experience today, will never come back and simply can’t understand all the positive reviews as our experience was truly horrible (my first time ever leaving a negative dr review)Dr. Adams was rude, impatient and cold when speaking to us, the parents, at all times. the doctor seemed bothered to have to explain to us my child’s diagnosis. She tried to literally walk away multiple times when I was asking questions. She went as far as to watch me struggle with my crutches (both ankles twisted) to open the door alone and literally stood there staring at me without offering any help. Worst bedside manner I’ve seen.Dr.Adams refuses to let parents inside with their children, even if the parent or child are uncomfortable with the situation.When asked if I could AT LEAST join my child while having a tooth pulled out, she coldly refused.Separating a young child from their caretaker for a terrifying procedure while they are SEDATED iscreepy and just completely INAPPROPRIATE. for parents considering allowing this route, I suggest googling about children medical abuse cases.so glad I refused now that I read another negative review saying they saw her yelling at a kid, explains why the no parents rule.Also, I see you respond to all negative reviews with quotes instead of real answers, further showcasing your lack of professionalism.Let me save you the effort:“Mothers, trust your instincts! Dr Adams is very thorough and an excellent dentist. My family history includes very bad teeth so unfortunately my daughter is prone to cavities very easily. Dr. Adams was very clear about how to help with keeping my daughters teeth from undue cavities and decay. Shes great! My daughter is also scared of the dentist but she was fine with Dr. Adams our appointment was early April and the only thing that was a little off was there was no waiting room because of covid and I couldnt join her which is not typical. But I do understand these issues.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Cally for years. She always says how nice the staff is. When she started going in by herself she didn’t have a problem & felt like a big girl. In her words “they do it nicely & it doesn’t hurt my teeth”

My grandchildren hav been going to Dr Adam’s for several years. The staff and hygienist are friendly, professional and have a good understanding of how to treat children.I also have a grandson with epilepsy and behavioral problems and Dr Adams had no problem in treating him. Two of the girls will no longer be able to be treated by Dr. Adam’s because they are now or will be teens which is disappointing but she and her staff have taken the fear of seeing the dentist for which we are grateful

Huge difference between Cally Adams office and others on island, my girls are always saying how sweet and patient the staff is and feel comfortable going in by themselves. In small amount of time I was in office I seen them sanitize multiple times which is to be commended. Highly recommend.

Informative and kind. My son is 15 months old, this was his first dentist visit and she moved at a slow pace as to not overwhelm him. While brushing his teeth at home is normally a battle, he was laughing and smiling during his appointment. I’m excited to go back for our next cleaning in 6 months.

With covid 19 and all they did a wonderful job. Fast and prompt when checking in. Loved that they took temperature and made him sanitize his hands. Had to wait in the car but they also brought him out after he was done. Very efficient. And very fast we checked in 5 minutes early and they were ready for him.

Not a very pleasant experience. It was my 3 & 5yr olds first time at the dentist and not only was I not aloud back with them, I wasn’t even aloud to wait in the waiting room. I was told I needed to wait outside the building or in my car.

Dr.Adams and Staff are great!!! She/They have always been professional, friendy which is very important because now days you dont know what you wil get when going to even just the store, they are very clean, organized looking, nwver have to wait long, quick and thorough visits. Definitely wish I used her for my older two.

Dr. Cally was able to see us urgently for an emergency. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and was seen for xrays and follow up shortly after. Dr. Cally and her team are warm and friendly and we are so happy to be their patients!

Was given Dr Cally Adams info as the first dentist I chose was not equipped to do what needed to be done for my sons teeth. Been there twice now (during the covid pandemic.) The staff has been very kind and explained what would happen during the visit. My son definitely likes going to this dentist more than the last one.

This has got to be my least favorite pediatric dentist on Maui. First & last time for us. The reception staff was not welcoming. The first time we ever scheduled at this dentist was a few years ago for my oldest daughter. Got there to be told the doctor is not in & we would have to reschedule. Never got a heads up before that because it’s difficult to get kids up & ready early in the morning 🤦🏻‍♀️. Kinda upset with myself for even thinking to schedule with them again (only because our main pediatric doctor is out of town). The visit for my daughter was okay, she wasn’t crying or anything which is always good for me, but my daughter did say there was another little girl that kept crying in a different chair that she got yelled at by the doctor to “Be quiet!” I’m sure any parent wouldn’t like that as it bothers me even hearing this from my kid. The end result for me was at check out (same check in reception lady) when I tried to schedule appointments for my other kids & was told that because we missed a booked appointment before, we could not schedule them, we would have to come in on a walk-in basis & wait all day to see if the doctor has time. (Are you kidding me? ) The way she said it with her careless attitude, as if she is miserable at her job & doesn’t want to be there. Maybe you should find a new job that will make you happy.

The best Pediatric Dentist on Maui! We are so happy to have found her office nearly a decade ago and she has never once disappointed us or our boys in all the visits we’ve had with her... and her staff is absolutely wonderful, too! We highly recommend her dental services!!

Dr. Adams saved my son’s teeth! Our first visit was years ago and she was very direct with me about the changes I needed to make in order to make sure my son’s problems with tooth decay and cavities were corrected. I really appreciated how honest she was with me and I think her no-nonsense approach helped me understand how seriously I had to take my son’s oral health. She removed the decaying teeth, which was genius because his permanent teeth grew in with plenty of room and helped us avoid having to put braces on him. Dr. Adams really cares about the kids and she will be straight with parents when OUR habits about how we supervise them need to change. I can’t thank her enough for her expertise, her approach and her genuine caring for the kids. Her staff is also wonderful and professional and I’d tell ANYONE to send their children to this dental office. I’m only sad because my son is too old for her pediatric office now and I have to find someone new. I doubt very much I’ll find someone I trust with my son as much as I trust her. Thank you Dr. Adams!!

We brought in our 3 year old child in July 2020 and unfortunately we did not have a good experience and we will not be returning. The front desk person was rude to me and my husband. Dr. Cally also seemed very stressed as she was rude to us as well. She was also very forceful with the xray films in my childs mouth. My child was crying the whole time and Dr. Was not compassionate at all.

My kids all see Dr. Adams and they all love her. Shes great with kids and does an awesome job with making sure that their teeth is at its best. Dr. Adams takes the time to help them feel comfortable with what is going on and helps them understand the importance of dental hygiene. From the moment we walk in the atmosphere is light. Theres a little play area for the children, plenty of sitting space for parents and reading material in the sitting area to help pass time. Shay and Tiare, the ladies at the desk are always smiling and so pleasant when you walk in or when we call. All the nurses (theres so many) in the back are so awesome and diligent. Its such a nice happy place. Dr. Adams comes out with the kids at the end to talk about their appointments and to give praise and/or advice. All in all, its awesome! Dr. Adams is great with the kids. We have gone to other dentists and have horror stories from their locations. She helped us through a dental emergency for our special needs son when others would not help us with him. She is very caring and creates a plan according to your kids needs. We will happily drive to Kihei to see her.

We feel very comfortable taking our kids to Dr. Adams. Our son who is 6 loves going. He says she is very nice! When we get home after his appointment he talks about his visit and how cool it was. Our 2 yr old daughter is still a little afraid and hesitant but Dr. Adams is very patient and talks to her thru her whole appointment to try to keep her calm. As a parent, the dentist is one where you try everything in your power to reassure your children they’re gonna be ok. But we are so blessed to have such an amazing doctor and staff that provides quality service and I’ve never felt so at ease at every visit and procedure. Dr Cally Adams sees both of my kids and has since my oldest was 2 years old, he is now 5. She has been great with both kids!! My son LOVES going for his visits! My daughter has been more hesitant about the dentist, and the doc and her staff do a great job putting her at ease. Nothing but good things!

This appt didn’t feel woman led as the main thing she expressed was that everything was on track except for the fact that I was still breastfeeding my son and that I needed to wean him. He’s 16 months old. No emotion, no that’s great you’ve fed him up to this point, nothing like that. The appt felt very negative for an office that expresses its woman empowered/woman led. I know I’m not the only woman on Maui still breastfeeding her son at 16 months.

I’ve been taking my six year old son here for a while and he progresses with every visit. Dr. Cally is very good at what she does and it shows when my son leaves more confident each time. Not to mention, the staff is very professional and the office has a nice flow/energy every time. I really enjoy going here.

Excellent experience. I took my 4 yr old twice for cavity treatments. Dr Cally Adams and her staff were calm, professional, and explained everything. they coaxed my son to cooperate and reassured him. No restraints were used. I was amazed, this was a completely different experience than what we have had at with other dentists. Highly recommend.

Dr. Adams is very well trained and experienced. Ive taken my daughter to her for several years now and I am quite impressed with the level of service and professionalism that we have received. We are on Maui for vacation and my son was having a dental concern. They fit us in as soon as possible and dealt with the concern efficiently and thoughtfully. The charges for the services were sensible.

Dr. Call is very thorough and to the point. My son is high anxiety yet the way she runs her office works for him. Her staff is extremely personable and on top of things. Waiting room is similar to a living room so its comfortable.

My 4 kids love Cally Adams! The oldest 3 used to go to a dentist in kahului and hated them. I felt the same way growing up (I went to the same one.) We switched them to Cally Adams and absolutely love her and her staff. They never leave her office crying like they used to with their old dentist. I wish she was my dentist growing up. My sister from Hana recommended her, yes HANA! I know a lot of people who travel far just to see her. The staff is friendly, office is clean, there’s a play area for the little ones and movies play through out the day to help entertain your children.

An excellent experience from start to finish. The front desk staff are courteous and helpful. The assistants and technicians and hygienists are professional and friendly. With HDS the copays are very affordable. The kids have fun every step of the way. Its always been this way for the last nine years for my daughter and the last six for my son. Due to a negative interaction my wife had with Dr. Cally Adams (she aggressively spoke down to my wife and “disciplined” her in the waiting room of the office) we chose as a family to leave and find a different pediatric dentist. We were not upset about it we just decided that she was not the dentist for our family. This is not what the low rating is for.I work in the hospitality industry and move locations every few years. We just pulled my wife’s credit report and found that we had an outstanding balance from Dr. Cally Adams office we never knew about. We lived in the same house on Maui for a year and half after leaving Dr. Cally Adams and then moved to the mainland and now 3 1/2 years after we last saw her we find that they sent us to collections for $83.60.We called and got the Family Dental Ledger and sure enough 1yr 1/2 after we last saw Cally Adams (mind you we payed the full bill on that appointment) they sent us a bill for $83.60. This just so happens to be same month we moved off the island. Why didn’t we get the bill even though we got all our other mail that was sent to the house after we moved, I can not say. I called the Cally Adams office and checked to see if they had our contact cell phone number which they did. When I asked why they didn’t call the cell phone on file they said they didn’t know but they mailed us the bill. I asked when you didn’t get a response wouldn’t you tray the other form of communication before sending it to collections and they said they didn’t know. Ridiculous! I of course paid the bill and am moving on I just feel this is very pour billling practices and customer service.

The staff is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I have had great experiences on the phone and in person.Dr. Cally took time with my 2 year old, taking a dinosaur and brushing its teeth before my daughter’s cleaning. These little things go a long way with kids. My 9 year old also likes Dr. Cally because she’s nice.My favorite part of these Dentisit visits (I have 3 keiki)... is they have a play area and movies in the waiting area. But the wait time is minimal!!! They keep the place on time. I don’t know how but I’m thankful I don’t have to wait an hour for my scheduled appointment ❤️Very grateful.

The front office ladies are so friendly with warm smiles, very personable. Dr.Adams has always taken the time to take good care of my daughters.
