The vision center has improved ten-fold. I love the new hires .I had actually stopped going here years ago because it was not for me and my children .I heard there was a new Dr and decided to give it a go .My kids were more than happy with the Dr and his staff.Dave and Cali ( forgive me for sp ) helped my girls pick out cute frames they loved . They still politely informed me of price ranges and options covered by our insurance.

The new eye doctor is fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. He knew exactly what I needed and I was in and out in a jiffy. They also have new management staff who are very friendly. I had a great experience and am very happy with the staffing changes. I will continue with this doctor and will recommend the vision center to others.

Ive been sitting in the parking lot for over an hour cuz when I got here they were on break I keep calling about every ten minutes after being here for a half hourEdit: hour and a half later finally back

I am an older adult and have worn glasses all my life. I have been going to this Kewanee location for exams and glasses for several years. I have ALWAYS been able to get an appointment when needed. In fact, when I recently called regarding a sudden vision problem, I was able to be seen the following day! The staff is helpful and professional regarding service and insurance matters. They care for their clients and it shows.Over the years, I have been to many qualified optometrists and find Dr. Head at Walmart Vision to be the best I’ve experienced. His pays attention to his patients. He takes time to answer questions and shares his experience and medical knowledge freely. I am confident that the care I receive will be unsurpassed. I recommend Dr. Head and the Kewanee Walmart Vision Center to anyone looking for eye-care professionals.

Was quoted 4-6 weeks to get glasses. Then 2 months later call and they said it will be three months. Was falsely informed

It takes a month to get in and an at least an hour to wait to see the doctor for an appointment. This wasnt a fluke. This office has consistently been poorly run for at least ten years. After all of that, the doctor (Kerry Head) wrote my contact lens prescription for the wrong brand. One of his staff didnt believe me when Id called to correct the problem. Ive started driving an hour to go to a different vision center. Princeton Il, Moline Il, Galesburg Il and Davenport Ia dont have these issues. Staff at the Kewanee vision center said it was the doctors unprofessionalism that causes the delays. Nothing but issues. Save yourself the pain.

I went In there to get my glasses straightened and the lady ended up breaking my glasses saying there is nothing she can do about it. I was beyond pissed. That was my first time ever going there and will be my last.
