He is god. At least in his eyes. I dislocated my knee after he removed debris from it. My knee has felt VERY loose since he did the surgery. I came into the office 3-4 hours after it was dislocated. It was 2-3 times larger them the other knee. He told me I have no reason why I can’t straight it out. He grabbed my leg and pulled it straight up. He pulled me right out of the wheelchair! I was in so much pain! So much for “do no harm”.Oh, also. Once I was prepared for my knee surgery. I was told that I HAD to agree to pay for an ice pack that the insurance will not pay for. I was told he would not do the surgery unless I agreed to pay for it. I felt like he is blackmailing his patients. I know if I did not agree the hospital would bill me for all the pre surgery prep. Since the insurance would not pay since I left the hospital without completing the procedure.

Dr. Nitz was recommended to me by several different people and I have to say he did not disappoint. Dr. Nitz did an excellent job on my shoulder surgery. This was my first surgery and couldnt have had a better experience. Dr. Nitz and his staff were tentative and made the experience easy. Dr. Nitz has also been informative and helpful with each follow up. Even takes the time to show additional stretches to help with range of motion to ensure Im where I need to be. Definitely will be recommending him to others as well.

Worst physician I have ever seen. Operated on my knee and I ended up with compartment syndrome (google it - its bad) was hospitalized 1 day after surgery and in the hospital for over a week. He refused to come to the hospital to see me bc he did the surgery right as he told the hospitalist then asked for the call to be transferred to my room, yelled at us and told me to stop complaining and go home. At this point there was no circulation to my foot to the point they couldnt get a pulse in it but since he wouldnt come to the hospital, he wouldnt know that. They kept me for just over a week before they would let me go home. I recovered but have lasting nerve damage from it.

Dr nitz was amazing five stars to him. But the staff couldn’t get anything right. They refused to work with our insurance. It’s supposed to be ran through your insurance first then payment arrangements can be made. Instead they wanted our payment first then run it through the insurance. I found several other surgeons that go about this the correct way and we will be seeing someone else. They continued to mess dates and appointments up. Even scheduled a post op when we had no operation to be seen about. We ultimately had to go with another surgeon. To bad because dr nitz really knew what he was doing and I’ve heard nothing but good stuff from others about him.

Super doctor; pleasant personality...great, friendly staff. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs surgery to shoulders or knees!

Took my mom to Sycamore Hospital Miamisburg-Centerville Road in Miamisburg, Ohio today to have surgery on her RIGHT knee. Dr Nitz comes out to talk to us, low and behold he operated on the wrong knee, he operated on the left one. Yes, you heard me right, they operated on the wrong knee. So now both knees are messed up

Extremely poor service waited in the waiting room for 1 and 1 half hours before called then another 1 half hour in the room..this is unacceptable..third surgery for same sholder...might need to retire!
