Dr. Haluschak is one of the best! He has been my oncologist for 20+ years. He is very personable, very professional, and a great guy to boot. When I found out I had cancer again, he was my first choice. Kettering Cancer has also been great.

Review №4

This was several months ago, maybe around September-October of 2018. My mom had stage 4 lung cancer and initially put her treatment in the hands of Dr. Haluschak. She told him that she was allergic with zofran and while under his treatment, to which he originally ignored and she was given zofran and vomited after treatment while she was at home. On her last visit with the Doctor, he tried to tell her that she was wrong and that nobody was allergic to zofran. He then attempted to explain that nausea was a side effect because they were nauseous beforehand. Dr. Haluschak wouldnt listen to my mom while she was talking and interrupted her to tell her why she was wrong. When we got up to the fifth floor for her chemo, she broke down and told the nurse what had happened and the nurse immediately believed her and took zofran off the list of medications and my mom spoke to the charge nurse and changed doctors to Dr. Safa. But before she had her first appointment with Dr. Safa, Dr. Haluschak stopped her perscriptions so she couldnt get any of them until she had her appointment with Safa a few days to a week later. I have a friend that is allergic to zofran as well, it makes her projectile vomit. Because this Doctor had never heard of anyone being allergic to zofran, he put my mom through a situation that never needed to happen in the first place had he just switched her off of zofran.
