Love shopping at TJs. If you cant find an item, they will go out of their way to get it for you. We had heard of a fall item that we should try but couldnt find it. I checked with an employee and they went on a hunt for it. She came back to inform us that the seasonal item had completely sold out for the season. Cant wait for the Christmas items to hit the shelves.

Quaint and relatively small, but this place packs a punch. The products on the shelves are high quality, the choices are broad and the staff is super friendly. I recommend this place pretty much everywhere I find one, but the Grand Rapids, MI location is the closest one to me. Ive never had a bad experience at Trader Joes and this GR location is no different.Go here if youre looking to try some new stuff you may never have had. Go here if youre looking for a new take on some old favorites!

This is the best grocery store ever. The staff here was so kind to me today. I was having a small (very small) crisis but they sensed I was not my usual upbeat frame of mind. Mike helped me select a few excellent wines. When the checkout lady learned that I had misplaced my cooler backpack she had one of her fellow staff member go get me a cooler bag (no charge) to keep my cold purchases cold! No other store would ever do that! They even gave me a couple frozen bottles of water to keep stuff cold! The people working there are always so friendly and kind. I love this store! Excellent products. Wonderful selection of cheeses and knowledgeable staff to help you select. Great selection of very reasonably priced wines and staff can help you select. I got home and found my backpack cooler bag and so all is well thanks to this Trader Joes store.

This place probably doesnt need another review, but Ill add one anyway. People, service, prices, policies, selections, cleanliness...all GREAT! And even when the store is crowded, which is most of the time, they manage to get you checked out quickly and remain upbeat and friendly all the while. The only thing I can think that might be improved upon is store space...it gets a bit hectic, because it feels like youre always either nearly bumping into someone or in their way. Another nearby store location might help this situation some. ;)

Ive wanted to try Trader Joes for awhile and finally decided to try it out. They had a waiting line to enter so that not too many people were in at one time. I approve of that. The store was smaller than I was expecting. I had heard the freezer section was exceptional. I have to agree. There was a large selection and the prices were very reasonable. I was less appreciative of the non freezer area. They were all half hazard. Very little organization in my opinion.Overall a 3 1/2 star review, which Ill upgrade to 4. I would return, but only for freezer section.

As usual a great, friendly shopping experience! Have been looking to find the dill, pickle yellow mustard I got in the spring. Guess I should have brought three, it goes quickly during Brat season!

I like this place a lot for high quality food standards and wholesome products without a lot of fillers. Their prices are reasonable for most things they sell. Ill be shopping there for as long as I live in GR.

It was easier navigating the store on mt second visit. Went back for more cauliflower tortilla pizza crusts which are located in a blue Trader Joes pckg. on the refrigerated was near the fresh mozzerella cheese.

Great place. I bought a frozen orange chicken meal and really did not have high expectations for frozen Chinese, but it was delicious! Added some peels to the sauce as it simmered and baked the chicken in a toaster oven. Combined and served it over a bed of white rice! $4.89 and it fed 2.

I didnt actually stop in trader Joes, we stopped in the car lot to peruse vehicles... But when I last shopped there, I loved it

When we got there the line outside was about 20 people deep, but it moved very fast. Shopping was a blast. Got our case of 2 Buck Chuck and some great snacks. When you go there make sure you get the Smores Bites. They are amazing. WE WILL BE BACK SOON!!

Its a little pricey. I bought the carton of corn with roasted red pepper soup. It doesnt look or taste like corn soup. I wont buy it again. Its a pleasant store and they are going above and beyond trying to keep people safe.

We have been here many times-- have never liked this store ( really like the Kalamazoo store!) the people working here are rude, dont really seem to want to help if you need it & the prices on some things are higher than in the other store......unfortunately, we will probably visit this one again as it is closer to home....

Trader Joes today was a loud, lively place, and in a good way! We drove an hour to visit this store, and come home with some of the worlds best coconut macaroons, the Trader Joe brand. Many other items fell into our basket as well, and the staff were helpful, friendly and courteous, and efficient at bagging. We only wish there was a Trader Joes in Lansing. I am sure we would be there every week if it were so.

HAPPY PLACE. I seriously make excuses to go multiple times a week even if I dont need groceries. Everyone is so wonderful and friendly and it is so clean and smells nice and I want to live there. 💗

Good prices and quality, but over the past year there has been a consistent number of products that just disappear or are discontinued or out of stock. Several of the regular items I purchased weekly have been discontinued. Their limiting of customers inside the store is ridiculous, often more staff inside the store that actual customers while there is a line around the corner.

Love tjs! No matter where i am on the west coast ,Ventura, San Francisco, Fresno or the eastern side of the Midwest i.e. Chicago! I always go to TJs! Love the PEOPLE who work there sooo much AND that coupled with the fantastic prices on superior food makes Trafer Joes quite an experience!

Living on the far north end of town, Trader Joes is not on my list of weekly grocery stops. That said, it is always worth a visit. The customer service is incredible. People are always friendly and willing to help. Their selection is interesting and provides great variety. Their wine selection is well currated and their floral selection is priced to sell!

Trader Joes is the LaCroix of shopping. The layout is willy nilly, the products are hit and miss. I think people just like going there because it sounds hipster and bougie to say that they shop at Trader Joes. Parking was ample though.

Has a fair amount of organic products, good and distinct Trader Joe products, with awesome tasting meat.

Excellent customer service! The cashier asked if I had found everything I was looking for. I told him all but the Mandarin Orange Chicken and Vegetable Fried Rice. His response: rang the bell and asked a co-worker to please bring some up from the back for me. Awesome.

Due to Covid 19 we waited in line outside in 16 degree weather. Well worth the short wait. Staff and products are amazing. The staff always seems happy to be there and to be helpful to customers. The products never disappoint. We live an hour away from a Trader Joes so always stock up in Grand Rapids while visiting our children.

My favorite chained grocery store. The have affordable groceries, especially if you want to shop for more organic and all natural foods. Their wine and beer selection is phenomenal and super affordable. Their seasonal items change a lot, so if there is something you like, I would stock up on it.

Went to Trader Joe’s today with my mom and I was not impressed with the staff. One of our masks was below our nose and the staff member said your mask needs to be over your nose to shop here. Did not kindly ask to pull it over the nose at all. Saw the same staff member a second time and she looked at us again and said I am serious you need it over your mouth and nose to shop here. We kindly said sorry it falls down and she told us maybe we should get a mask that fits. I did not appreciate the rudeness from the staff and we will not be returning anytime soon. Very disappointed.

Trader Joes is dope. You may have to wait outside right now due to covid but its worth it! The line moves fast and it makes your experience inside better. The staff is always friendly and helpful also.

Hit at a great time there was no line. Got majority of what I needed. I love this place and usually love shopping here. A little disappointed because they were out of two items that I needed and according to the worker they will not be in for over a month. Also, I normally get great service, however, this person must have been having a bad day. They didnt smile or ask how they could help me when I ask for assistance. They just stared at me and then told me that item is out and will be back next month. They then went back to their work. Usually, the people there are much nicer and offer a little more information. I then had to ask about a second item and got the same response. It was a little disappointing. The cashier was great though and very helpful when I checked out.

Our GPS took us on a while ride to get here. I would say its on 28th Street but this view is facing other stores. Cant see it from 28th and goes brought us all the way around from 29th Street. And even though it took a while to find it, it was worth the extra drive. We loved shopping here. A lot more options for a tasty meal. They even had taste testing wine. It was busy, but they seem to have every register open so there was not any wait.

They have some great all natural choices at a decent price for all food options. Fresh, cold, frozen. Also an area of rotating flowers and fresh herbs, potted and cut. I love to get my fresh basil here, and if you like orchids this is the place to go. Sometimes things you dont see often in seasonal flavores and an all around wonderful selection of artisan bread, Im just really sad they stopped carrying the pepper asiago bread.

And I thought that I couldn’t love Trader Joe’s any more than I already do. I haven’t even left the parking lot because I just witnessed one of the most decent and kind things I have seen in a very long time, and I had to share it. I just watched a customer mention to her cashier that she was having a bad day because her grandmother (I think) had just passed away. The customer looked absolutely broken hearted and seemed like she just wanted to go home to cry. The cashier that was ringing her up didn’t miss a beat. She didn’t act as though that personal information was awkward, she talked with the customer and showed her kindness, and then she raised her hand and rang her bell to have a coworker come over as she was finishing up. I saw her whisper to her coworker, then the coworker disappeared and the cashier went back to empathizing with the customer. A few seconds later, the coworker reappeared with a bouquet of fresh flowers that the cashier gave to the customer as way to offer her condolences. The customer welled up with tears over this beautiful gesture of kindness that was given to her on what was clearly a terrible day in her life, and I nearly cried right along with her. I guess I just wanted to share what a lovely place this is, and I wanted to thank that cashier for being a bright ray of light to that poor customer and to those of us who had the pleasure of witnessing their interaction. We need more businesses like this in the world, and we certainly need more people like that cashier.

Trader Joe’s: simple, efficient, no GMO’s, tons of organic items, with friendly, outgoing service! What’s not to love!?!A couple of my FAVORITE ITEMS you should try:-all the vegan and gluten-free items - so nice!-spicy hummus dip (yum...I add more cayenne!)-ghee (tasty on fresh-popped popcorn with salt!)-goat cheese chèvre and goat cheese Gouda (for those with sensitivity to cow’s milk)-all the organic produce (much cheaper than other stores)-whole grain Gluten-free bread (green package)-Rx bars (best price in town for this simple protein bar brand!)-ghost pepper chips (so very yummy!)-all the packaged salad kits (easy-peasy)-frozen chicken chile verde burritos (spouse likes these to take to work)-raspberry preserves (try on vanilla ice cream or yogurt!)-Speculoos cookie butter or cookies (of course)TIP—> The wine selection is extensive and inexpensive. There is always a wine expert on hand to give recommendations. I was happy to find three wines with no added sulfites, and one with no sulfites at all. Great for those with a tendency toward headache or migraine triggers from red wine. (See close up photo)TIP—> The staff here (and at every Trader Joe’s I’ve ever been to) is extremely friendly and helpful. It’s a requirement to work here.TIP—> Ask about the food items if you haven’t tried them before. Most likely you’ll get one of these responses: a description of the item that will help you decide, a “happy to open this and let you sample it!” or, “Feel free to try it and bring it back for a full refund if you don’t like it!” All three have helped me! LOVE the simple and hassle-free return policy.TIP—> This store gets JAM-PACKED on the weekends & late afternoons. Just avoid those times, and you’re golden. I believe they restock on Tuesdays, so I go midday Tuesdays or midday Wednesday afternoons & shopping is a breeze.

Great customer service and employees that genuinely seem to want to assist you. Nice selection of niche and everyday products that arent overpriced. Lowest price on beautiful and quality fresh cut flowers that I have seen anywhere. They have steadily been growing their vegan and plant based offerings with delicious items that beat many national brand comparable items. Unique vegan and plant based items that I havent seen anywhere else. Going above and beyond with their COVID-19 procedures and they should be held up as a model that other stores should follow. My favorite store in the Grand Rapids area.

This location confused us, they are social distancing keeping customers out in the cold but no mask restrictions!!! Very confusing! They still carry great items...

Its a Trader Joes; they have a good mix of quality groceries and packaged foods at reasonable prices. I particularly love scanning the frozen foods section for quick weekday meals that arent as heavy on sugar and fat as what youll find in most food stores. They also rotate through seasonal products regularly, so theres always something interesting to consider each time you stop in.The best part about this location is the staff. The Grand Rapids TJs easily has the most helpful and overall happiest staff Ive seen in a grocery store in the city. Everywhere else I go I feel bad asking a stocker for help because they usually look exhausted, but here theyre always happy to talk with anyone.
