It is so easy to get fit here. No matter your age, fitness level, or size, this is truly a safe and judgement free place. The staff is always willing to help out and are constantly cleaning and disinfecting the equipment. I love that there are massage chairs, hydro massage beds, tanning beds and stand up tanners. Well worth the reasonable price.

Ive been to several planet fitnesses. by far this is the biggest best one.not crowded even though there was lots of people. everything was separated as I like each workstation locker room shower room and bathrooms were also separated and to Great size. Friendly staff ,,will be visiting again as often as I can.Nice after a workout to have a Lay down Hydro machine which I havent seen at any other Planet Fitness

Really good gym, staff is friendly and constantly keeps area and machines clean with disinfectant. Offers Free showers. Provides massage chairs for black membership members. Only thing missing is free weight squat and bench machines to where you got all the control of the weights that you are moving instead of the machine forcing the barber to move in a single direction.

Took over the former D&W location. Quite big compared to other locations. Great selection of equipment. Since its big, you dont have run into people when doing leg days. Has most of the things you need.

Nice place to workout but its a super huge inconvenience not being able to cancel my membership over the phone or online. I work 12+ hours a day and the last thing I want to do is drive way out of my way for something I could do over the phone in a matter of minutes. Nice trap you have going on there 👍

Nice place to workout… HOWEVER, hope you like the music they play, cause they play it so LOUD, that even with your own earbuds you need to set at volume 10 to overcome the Rap, country, oldies, rock that happens to be playing that day. I have asked repeatedly to turn down volume as over 50% of clients have their own music… many with full-ear headphones (wonder why?).

If only they had wheels for the decline bench like they have for the other weight benches. It would be so much safer to move around. Apparently safety isnt important at the gym for injuries when trying to move that heavy decline bench. I wonder why. Could it be arrogance on the owners end?

Better than my Golds Gym membership. Kentwood has tanning and message chairs included for just $23 a month. Me and my wife are both members.

The staff at this location is super friendly and they go above and beyond for their members. I appreciate that they are constantly walking around sanitizing because the equipment is always clean. If you are thinking about becoming a member, do it! Don’t forget to try the hydros too! They are life changing!

They steal your money, charge you after canceling your membership, and then dont allow you to work out in the gym despite you paying the final month, or refund you. Total joke, 90% of employees all stand around and crack jokes all day. DO NOT GO HERE

It has changed a lot over the last year...wish I wouldve been in here tearing it up over the past few months, but this is my first time back in awhile. Sorta sucks sometimes trying to workout with a mask, but no matter. I am proud of myself for the jump back into 2021 on that good track...onward!!!!!!

This is my home PF Gym. PLEASE TURN DOWN THE SOUND SYSTEM. I cannot hear my own music. I love this gym and the neighborhood members but the customer service has been lacking since reopening. Very Disappointing.

I love Planet Fitness. Its a good gym for people who may be beginners and may not be as comfortable working out in front of others.

The two ladys that were working were very rude. When we arrived we waited about 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk. I had to go looking for someone and had to knock on the employees only door to get someone to help us.The place was dead. We visited at 2:30am on the morning of April 7th. I wont be coming back.

Terrible service at the gym. I canceled my membership years ago, and suddenly started seeing charges again. I called and spoke with some teenager that answered the phone. He refused to put me on with the manager and hung up on me! (I heard another planet fitness person in the backround telling him to just hang up) When I called my bank to dispute the charges the lady that was helping me said her daughter was having the same problem with them! The boy that answered says they use a third party billing company so they cannot refund me the money they are taking from my account. DO NOT trust this company with your account numbers!!! Since there is no way for me to respond to the owners response below, I will answer by saying...it looks like your response to every complaint is exactly the same....why not just take care of the problem???

As mush as I love going to PF, since they reopened Im disappointed in 2 things:1. Im surprised they dont do temperature checks.2. Instead of protecting themselves behind the plexiglas, they should be on the floor monitoring people not wearing their masks properly.

They have music, a variety of equipment and a stretching room. Its clean and staff is friendly and polite.

I changed debit cards during COVID restrictions, the gym was shut down and my payments where not coming out anymore. I thought after they reopened and they couldn’t take a payment my membership would be canceled! I was wrong, they wanted payment for every month they where open even though I never came in and my payment was canceled. They want you to jump through hopes to cancel your account, very unprofessional and if you join make sure you get something in writing before you think your membership is canceled even though you stop paying.

Everyone is very friendly and helpful if asking a question. Nice place. I think people would like this Fitness Center. It is clean and if I notice something not safe or clean and I mention it, Management takes action. I workout at different times of the day, occasionally, and it seems busier just in the afternoon after work. The mornings are the best time for my workouts.

Overall, Im pretty happy with this place. Great staff, always friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, Ive run into several situations where it takes me twice as long to get my workout in than usual. Lots of groups of people (friends) during the busy hours taking turns on one machine, hogging it for long periods of time...I realize this isnt really the fault of the gym, but it would be cool if there was a quick way to check the occupancy or business online or something before going.However, as far as the gym itself goes, very clean, organized, great locker rooms/showers, lots of space. Great place to work out when its not so busy.

I love this gym. Everyone is so friendly and helpful! Grace and her Team are incredible. Im always greeted with a smile.The trainer is super great, classes sure are a workout.Bathrooms are always clean just like the machines and everything else.

I would like to share to anyone that is planning to open a membership at planet fitness . Please don’t, you will never truly enjoy a work out . I am still in disbelieve that I was approach by a staff member to tell me that I can’t use a jump rope to do my cardio . I have never been more upset to stop in the middle of my work out section . For that reason I cancel my membership . This is so ridiculous that I have to shared with the others.

Price is right and staff is friendly. Ive never had a problem getting on any machine or had disruption in my work out.

This location is always clean and staff can be seen cleaning throughout the day. Locker rooms and showers are clean and plenty of locker options. They offer a variety of equipment and training sessions. A little busier at the beginning of the week, but there are always machines available.

Went to transfer my club membership here. The club manager Grace was less than helpful and had a major attitude with me. I’d recommend that PF corporate look into how the manager chooses to treat its members. Having an unpleasant interaction with the said manager is not a good impression to members. On the positive side, the other employees here at this location have an upbeat attitude and are pleasant to interact with. I’d strongly recommend looking internally to promote someone to the responsibility of a manager that chooses to care for its members and create a lasting positive impression.

Nice gym. I have been going for 3 months now and always clean, kept up, and friendly people!! Only issue is they are busy at the beginning of the week. I would recommend this gym if you were looking for on in the Grand Rapids area.

Ive been going to a couple of the locations over the last several weeks.This is a great one to go to in the early morning or Sunday afternoon. Not as busy and its easy to get your work out in without so many people around.The facility is always clean, the staff friendly, and parking a breeze.Glad I joined.

I have been coming to this PF location for about 4 months now...i absolutely love the atmosphere and the morning staff! This is the first time Ive come at 11pm and I am extremely disappointed with the staff this time of night...there was a smaller Mexican guy and a chubby redhead who has one side of her head shaved...several clients walked in without them noticing or even acknowledging the counter...if I was a potential client and this happened I would never come back here again...its the amazing staff during the day that keeps me coming back...but these 2 night shifters are terrible!

Clean, friendly staff, lots of options. Massage tables/chairs, tanning rooms, personalized training regimen, 30 minute full body workout room, lots of treadmills/elypctical/bikes/etc. so no waiting, large locker rooms with showers, lots of parking. Convenient and well priced

So, its the judgment free zone but I feel like Planet Fitness is judging poor Ricky.

Great place...if you go. I have had a membership for three years and have gone three times. When I went in to cancel I did not have any hassle, everyone was kind and did not give me a hard sale I appreciate it that! Clean, friendly staff and lots of workout options.

The gym equipment here are very well maintained, the staff was approachable and helpful when concerning about the options of membership. Its worth mentioning that its extremely fast and easy to check in and the bathroom and changing rooms are clean as well!

Nice gym is you like cardio, not a lot of weight lift options. Only issue I’ve had is employees not being friendly. I guess it’s really hard to greet people with a smile or acknowledge them when they are at the desk when trying to tan. Other than that I enjoy this gym.

I normally go to the Kentwood location but was pleased with the cleanliness and equipment available at this location. It did seem quite a bit smaller and very busy. I like some space while working out so not sure if I will choose this location again.

Great staff! I went last week Wednesday. First time at this location. Very friendly staff. Tons of parking! A bit hidden from the street.Some what busy but not overcrowded. Nice location overall.Will be back and reccomend!

The staff is always greeting you and making sure they say goodbye. Clean and great atmosphere. I always love coming here. Its the best gym Ive ever been to and Ive tried many franchised gyms.

The facility is nice and clean, but the free weights dont go up enough. I wish they had heavier free weights. If you like using free weights and are looking to get strong, this may not be the gym for you.

Always clean, always met with friendly staff. I like the layout of the workout equipment a lot more here than other PF locations. I wish the water pressure for the showers were a bit better, but this is the best one Ive been too so far.

The only problem I have with this gym would the fact that there is only Smith machines, which I understand is there thing, but I dont see why they cant implement them into certain areas by choice. Staff is great and machines are always clean. With convenience and price, I cannot complain.

Great PF! Always clean, lots of machines and different areas to work out. The lifting area is pretty small and gets busy but people are usually kind and courteous.

Staff is great, ease of registering, great attitude, many options to work out. Very clean. I would give 5 stars if there was a yoga class offered.

Rude. Even after cancellation, they have deducted money from my checking account. I asked them specifically about this when canceling and was told the deduction won’t happen.Hopefully they will let me know how long they willkeep robbing so I can keep my account funded.

This Planet Fitness is usually always packed due to its convenient location which can make it slightly difficult to get in and do good work. I often find myself compromising on days where I want to work one specific part of my body. The price you pay in comparison to other gyms is definitely reflected in this way, however the staff is friendly and there genuinely is no judgement.In short: It has good gym fundamentals, but can be crowded.

I liked this gym, it is clean and organized. I would like to find more glutes machines. I really love the hydromassage chairs they have, just keep in mind you need to have the black card to be able to use them.

I love this place! The staff is great and inviting, they make u feel right at home. Its a non judgemental safe haven.

This has been my favorite planet fitness so far. Clean locker rooms, clean workout areas, helpful staff. Its not as packed as some of the other locations.

Great facility. A problem I run into often though is doing the 30min workout and random people come in and jump in doing there own thing. It states on the wall 30 min workout. It’s annoying and throws your workout off.

Friendly staff and facilities are always clean. This is a great place to work out in.

Has everything I have come to expect from a Planet Fitness. Excellent staff maintain the facility very well. Locker rooms clean and clutter free. Open 24/7 so plan to work out literally anytime you want. Memberships start at 10 a month.

These guys are the CHEAT. They will LIE to you about their services because their aim is just to sell their membership to you. So, I did my mistake and I joined them as BLACK CARD membership.So, I ask them few questions while joining them :My Question : can I bring my wife with me as a guest.Answer : Yes sure. She can come with you.My Question : Do I need to stay here when she is doing the workout. I cant stay here as we have an infant at home.Answer : You can come and sign in and then you can go. She can do the workout here alone.For few months, it goes fine. I used to come with her, sign in and used to go back.Suddenly one day, they said you cant do that. You need to stay here for all the time when she is here. Its our company policy and we dont know who is the person who told you this lie.

Love my pf... The people are great, the machines are easy to use, wish there was a scale in the rest room, and a bit of more room for a non machine work out. I rcommend the black card membership... Tanning if your into that. Some crazy machine that scares me to pieces and the most wondeful contraption ever.. Hydro massage lounger...
