My mother has been a resident of Azpira Place of Breton for the past 2 years and recently transitioned to their Memory Support. We have been truly blessed with amazing staff who have shown compassion towards my mom since day one. Even during this difficult journey with dementia my mother has been able to maintain her dignity and still always has a smile on her face. When we toured the memory support a few weeks ago we were very impressed with the program and how content the residents were. We look forward to visiting mom this week. Thank you to everyone who has helped us on our journey.

I cannot recommend Azpira Place high enough. The staff like Jenny, Sandra, Denise, Carl, Caroline, etc. treat your love ones like they are their own. The facility is immaculate and the staff interact with the residents positively.

I visited 8 assisted living facilities to find placement for my brother. Sandra Rodriguez met me at the door of Azpira. While the facility is lovely and offers all the amenities as other assisting living locations.. it was the warmth, friendly and easy-going attitude of the entire staff that impressed me. There was no ‘hard sell”, no pressure... just a stroll thru Azpira and rooms as Sandra, clearly proud of what Azpira can offer, addressed my concerns in an incredibly accommodating manner. No potential problem could not be solved. Sandra and the Azpira staff is why I chose Azpira as my brother’s new home.

When corporate allows sales to do admission evaluations, this is all about profit. They are no longer advocates for your live ones. No nursing knowledge on admission at this point, forward it’s all about profit. Be carful when placing your love ones in this community. They do not have the staff to really take care of your love ones. They are ok with 40 to 1 at night, this is per Colleen at corporate. Yes

I would never recommend this place. It was horrible for my family member to stay here. They were horribly rude not to mention left her on the floor for awhile, not 1 but a few times before they helped. Wouldnt help her whatsoever. Understaffed. Never take your loved one here

Best experience and friendly staff

My mother in law is lives at Azpira and we visit often. Her room is very nice and they have been kind enough to let her keep her pet. Some of the kind staff there has even helped her on occasion with pet concerns!Lynn and Denise at the front desk are always so warm and welcoming! The kitchen staff works hard to make meals a positive experience. If we ever have an issue management has been attentive. I understand emotions can run very high when it is near the end of a loved ones life, but I feel the staff here tries to make each of their guests as comfortable as they can, and that is not an easy thing to accomplish.

I recently took a tour of this facility and was surprised at how spacious the rooms were. We were there during a meal period, and all of the residents were very friendly and seemed very comfortable in their surroundings. The staff were very knowledgeable and made my mother feel right at home. We had look at far larger, more expensive residences in the area, but by far this was one of our favorites.

Residents at this facility do not receive the proper care and respect that should be given to them. Housekeeping is to be done on a weekly basis, but every time I go there the carpet has not been vacuumed and their is dust on every surface. Bedding is to be changed weekly and it is not. They want to increase the monthly fee as they say the level of care has changed, but in reality it hasnt it is just a way to increase their revenue.

I was a employee at this facility and I wouldn’t leave a animal here!!! These people are liars,,, they only want your money! There is no care or compassion for the elderly people. They hire people with no experience and then they are not properly trained on how to provide care. The good workers are unappreciated and over worked for little pay!

Please do not send your family to this nursing home. The people who work at this place do not care about giving proper patient care. The care givers only care about their personal lives and will talk about any matters in front of your love ones.Get your ears ready to hear about other people sexual lives and gossip. Also this place is known for talking about patients information openly to others. Most of care givers are there for a check. This place is so unprofessional. It is not ran by the state, so a lot of cross-contamination happens here. The care givers do not care about patients safety. I had to snatch my love one out of this senior home . I placed him into a better facility.

I had a good experience here

This place I would never again place an animal in not to mention a relative. We were told last night while my uncle lay there dying a slow painful death by the staff and I quote it was not there job to provide him care or medicine during that time frame it was hospices problem. The entire time of his stay the entire family has been horrified not only by his care but by that of others in this facility. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!!
