Im a physician and have used their GI testing for about 5 years. They have always been responsive, helpful, and prompt in all matters related to my ordering of tests. I see the above negative reviews are from patients who were upset about having to pay for their tests...from an ordering providers perspective, they get an A+ for prompt, professional service. The GI tests themselves are extremely specialized and useful to diagnose and treat the gut, and overall health.

HORRIBLE customer service. Difficult to understand billing instructions. They charged my credit card WITHOUT APPROVAL from me. They IGNORED my letter instructing them to bill my insurance, stating their “system doesn’t recognize” those instructions.... meaning it’s a computer not a person at the end of the line?? OPENING THEIR MAIL?? When asked why they didn’t just CALL ME or EMAIL ME to explain they said “we don’t have the staff to do that.” They don’t have the staff to write one quick email?? Or make one quick phone call explaining their billing process when clearly I needed help with it?? Then they blamed the provider and washed their greasy hands of the problem. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE people.

I received a statement from a collection agency. I had no idea who these people were. I put it in dispute and never heard from them. I called the collection agency four times waiting for the proof of this claim. Three months later (with me calling again I might add) they said they would be sending me something. I finally called Diagnosis Techs themselves. They said it was from a service four years ago. I asked why I never received a statement from them in the past. They said they had sent five statements. I do not believe this. I can believe one was lost but no way five statements did not get to me. They said it went to collections two years ago to a different agency. Which I never received anything from either. I always pay my bills and I have never even asked for an extension on a bill in my life. I have perfect credit. I think it is pretty sad when companies have poor accounting systems, are disorganized and create problems for people because of their lack of business skills. I am not someone who tries to get out of paying my bills. I would have paid this had I known I had it. It just shows how disorganized they are when I have to keep hounding the collection agency for the proof that I owe this. They need a better accounting system. This is very unprofessional.

This company has an F with the BBB. Horrible,...Horrible... experience with this lab. Please do not make the same mistake I did by using this lab. The billing department is very dishonest! They ask for your insurance information on the billing requisition sheet, but they do not tell you that the insurance price is different than the out of pocket price. In fact, they do not have a fee schedule at all on the requisition sheet. They sent me a bill in the amount of $270.00, refusing to accept a payment for anything less. They have threatened to send me to collections in two weeks. I have been in contact with the provider that ordered the test and they are trying to get this issue resolved. They indicated that Diagnos-Techs, Inc. did the same thing to another patient of theirs. I will post any updates as this matter progresses.

This is the most unscrupulous company doing testing out there. Avoid like the plague. Dont expect them to file insurance and dont expect to get a bill for over 2 years. I am skeptical of the results as blood tests (though more expensive) are much more reliable. Dont waste your time with them and question practitioners that use this company. Functional medicine is good, but be wary of where testing is being done. Do your homework.

The first technical person I spoke with mocked me openly ( UPS mistakenly opened the package so concerned the sample was corrupted) and laughed at me that I believed the sample was refrigerated. Refused to give her name but sent me onto her supervisor ?, Stephanie, who behaved not like a supervisor. She was rude, nasty and inappropriate so when I told her I would have to complete a negative review and inform my Dr of my experience WITH DIAGNOS TECHS she threatened me. She stated I AM GOING TO CALL YOUR DR AND TELL HER YOU ARE NOT NICE TO US AND HAVE BEHAVED BADLY. This was the most unprofessional woman in health care, who spoke like a junior high bully all because I made the horrible choice of calling to find out if my sample had been corrupted. I would not trust this facility with anything after their unethical, bullying, and childlike approach to a customer.

My natural dr. wanted to to get my hormone levels checked. So, she recommended saliva testing. WELL... my levels all came back really high.. HOW can that be??? Im a 59 year old woman that had a partial hysterectomy 9 years ago. My levels have been post menopausal for years... My dr. just wanted to know the levels. My dr. called them when I was in her office. There response was: if your patient is using any facial cremes or lotions, they might have hormones in them and that will affect the test!!!... WHAT THE HECK? How many women use cremes and lotions! I basically wasted 225.00. Now I will be going to my regular dr next week for blood tests.

Great lab. Friendly staff and reliable results.

Watch out for billing! I took a $270 test (which I paid ) and they came back a year later with a bill for $537 more. They sent me one statement, then sent it to the collection agency with interest on top of it. I called about it and they said they had sent out 5 statements warning me it would go to the collection agency - none of which I received. I dont trust them.

This is the most dishonest lab. I worked at a medical clinic that had nothing but problems with this lab. Read the other reviews.
