We love simply spoken! My son with struggling with social skills and picking up on social cues with friends and classmates. Ms. Amanda built a great, positive relationship with my son and worked with him to help him identify social cues and so much more. My son always looked forward to his sessions and we saw noticeable changes in his social skills. We are so thankful!

My sons Princeton (6yrs) and Maverick (5yrs) (1year apart) worked with Amanda and I couldnt be more thankful that we found her practice. Not only did she help my boys with their speech impediments ,but she also helped boost their confidence and communication skills in the process. Ive never seen either of them light up as much as they do when they walk through her doors. Amanda is the most kind, patient and passionate ,but professional therapist ever!! I initially met Amanda while working in a school. When I had questions with my own children, I knew she was the one who could help! My son is 2 and has been seeing Amanda for speech services for 3 months. He has made amazing progress and even more importantly, he LOVES her!! She makes the sessions fun and my son independently “practices” the same language and play that he does with her! As an early childhood educator, I know and value the importance of play in learning and I would recommend her practice to anyone!

Amanda Townsend is amazing! Our daughter had a speech delay due to multiple ear infections when she was younger. We had PE tubes put in and then had Amanda evaluate our daughter. After a though evaluation she determined that she had Expressive Language Disorder and laid out a clear plan to get her caught up with her peers. A little after a year with Amanda, our daughter graduated from speech and talks nonstop. We are so impressed with how far our daughter has come in just a short amount of time. I cant thank Amanda enough for helping our daughter overcome all of her obstacles.

My son, Craig participated in the literacy camp and he had so much fun he forgot he was learning! Amanda is full of energy and teaches the kids in fun ways. The “rules” of letters/sounds my son learned in camp changed his reading and writing almost immediately. Now when he is stuck on a word he can go back to the “rules” and figure it out on his own. Highly recommend Amanda!!

Ms. Amanda has helped my son, Alex, make fantastic progress in his speech and language development over this past year. Every week she has fun activities planned specifically for Alex that he enjoys doing while he’s accomplishing his learning goals. She is also one of the most patient, kind, and energetic people I’ve ever encountered. She is a gifted therapist that we are fortunate to have in our lives.

Amanda clearly has a passion and gift for what she does! My 4 year old son has been going to speech class with her since April 2018. After choosing her by chance while looking for speech therapists, I couldnt have made a better choice! Shes been an encouraging factor for not only my son, but also me as his parent.
