It was supposed to be drive thru testing we get here they make us go inside and check ✔ by doctor if I want to see doctor I could have go to mine.

I went with my dad and brother to get a COVID test and they made us wait for so long. They were even helping people that came after us and the nurses just walked past our car multiple times. After waiting like 45 minutes we call to see how long we have to wait and the lady was like you are three people so it is going to take long. This unacceptable, I didnt know people clincs hire people so incompetent that cannot do a simple task that wouldnt have taken them seconds. I highly advise against coming here.

Dr Curole was very knowledgeable and personable. Will definitely go back! No wait time and friendly staff. Like that it is affiliated with the hospital and they have all my records on file.

I came to this urgent care a few times in the past, they been always very professional.I went there on Monday 01/27 and I was greeted by a very caring and kind lady.The experience was good as always until I meet the doctor, he claimed that I had Asthma, and refused to test me for the flue, his attitude was very unprofessional.My situation worsen a lot in the evening and at certain point I could barely breath.I went again the following day and asked to see the doctor to let him know how much I suffered that night. The unprofessional doctor didnt examine me instead the lady in lobby came and told me that the doctor prescribed 2 more medicines for me. I asked the lady to let me speak to the doctor, few moments later she let me in to speak to the doctor and this exactly what he told me “there is nothing we can do for you,” he was very unprofessional and sarcastic.once I left that urgent care I decided to go to the other urgent care the one on William because I couldn’t suffer anymore, long story short, the other urgent care tested me for flue and I tested positive.I can’t believe there are unprofessional doctors like the one that I meet twice, and he never bother to see what is really wrong with me.For the records this is my first time ever to leave a bad review on google.

I went here for an earache. The doc didnt even look at my other ear which got just as bad as the first ear just a few hours later. She didnt give me anything for pain no tylenol nothing. Ear infection hurt. She told me to put alcohol in my ear between putting the drops in and it was extremely painful. I would not recommend this place go to a different one. The staff was good though and nice. The dr seemed nice but later I realized she didnt give me good care. An update I ended up in the er then back to this urgent care then back to er. Admitted for possible mastoiditis. Had to be giving iv antibiotics for 2 days. Even after all that I still have a wic in my ear. Know my other ear is infected still swollen shut. At the er the ent saw me b/c of the severity and stated the original antibiotics I received were not the correct med to be given for my ear and putting alcohol that the doc suggested caused me all of this. I have to go back to the hospital to get the wic removed and see another specialist. Thank you urgent care

Only go here if you want your child to be struggling to breathe for over an hour, getting worse every minute that passes, only to finally get so fed up that you leave and go up the road to a facility that will urgently* treat your child. If you want to avoid the carelessness and ultimately the negligence of this facility, I recommend not coming here whatsoever and driving a mile or so more to a facility that will prioritize you/your family and move with the urgency and care that a legitimate medical practitioner would offer.

The best urgent care that I’ve been to- the staff was very professional and had a very short wait before seeing a nurse and doctor. The doctor I saw was very kind, professional, and did a fantastic job of explaining everything to me. The receptionist was also very helpful with follow-up questions as well.

East Jefferson Physicians Group Urgent CareI have to say this is the best urgent care Ive been to by far! Dr. Mazoue was great and provided genuine, quality care. Plus, I was in and out quickly! Friendly and nice front desk staff. The x-ray technologist and medical assistant were both very kind and helpful. Will be back again.

Excellent prompt service. Wonderful attentive bedside manner. Gave me treatments and medications that really helped me. Very very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend them!!!

I received excellent treatment here at the Urgent Care. The staff was friendly and sympathized with my symptoms. Not only did I receive the reassurance I needed but also great care! I was out of here within 45 minutes! I highly recommend this place and will be back again when needed.

I went three weeks ago with a serious wound to my arm that wouldnt stop bleeding. Everyone was very nice and I was out in 30 minutes. I would recommend it to everyone.

Amazing place. Amazing. This is EJ, same building but new management and new staff. It is not MHM. It is far better. I come often and have never felt anything but 100% better after leaving. The doctors, nurses and all the staff are friendly and sociable. I Highly recommend this office.

On 11/24/2019 I have never been treated so horribly in a desperate situation, the staff at this urgent care needs to be trained on how to treat patients that are in need of medical treatment. I wish the shoe was on the other foot so they would know how it feels to be treated the way I was treated. I would never ever RECOMMEND this urgent care to my worst enemy. as a business owner this is an example on how I would NEVER treat a customer.

OMG, what a horrendous experience I had on Wednesday. First off the receptionist was very nice and cordial. That is the reason my review get 1 star. The doctor OMG he was so rude and unprofessional. The minute he walked in the room I was waiting in his first comment was I cant treat you. I wont get into specifics but this was the worst I mean worst experience I have ever had at a doctors office. If you go to this clinic and you get Dr. Blanche you need to run.

I went to East Jefferson After Hours yesterday, and it was the worst experience of my life. The staff was friendly, but had no idea what they were doing. Marielle Ong (the doctor) should NEVER be allowed to handle patients again. I went in because I had a rash on my tummy, and she NEVER EVEN LOOKED AT IT. She didnt lift up my shirt or anything. She came into the room and immediately diagnosed me. Every time I tried to show her the rash or ask her a question, she would cut me off and start talking over me. Obviously, I started getting frustrated, so she then started speaking to me as if I was a child. She then prescribed me a cream that doesnt even work!! I will NEVER go back to this location. Thanks for wasting my time and money.

Went in for bad upper respiratory infection and bronchitis. The Doctor walks in without a physical examination the first thing out of his mouth is you have a cold. He promptly starts to lecture me on why I dont need any medicine. Doesnt prescribe me antibiotics and would not of given me a steroid shot until I had to say what about my face and chest feel like they are on fire. Got the steroid shot but only a prescription for Albuterol. No antibiotics of follow up steroid course and a list of instructions that could be found on any holistic medical site. This is not my first rodeo. I know what it takes to get me threw this with the least amount of suffering, but this clinic would rather be a moral authority than practice actual medicine. I will never go to this clinic again.

Waited for almost 2 hours before being seen. And the doctor examined my child for 2 mins and thats it.

AWFUL... Only 8 people ahead of my son when we checked in waited over an hour and was never called back. When I checked at the front desk I was informed that they were very busy... As a health care worker myself I am always very patient because I know what its like to be on the other side of the desk, but never have I had a sick patient have to wait over an hour and I know what busy is and its not 8 patients in a waiting room...

What a terrible doctor! He was rude and dismissive of the pain I was in. Never going there again. I paid $75 dollars to not be treated. No quick fixes. No fixes at all! Ive never been so disrespected in my life.

Lousy service Dr. Cureall went in for bad chest congestion he just told me you must have sinus problem. Didnt listen to my lungs. 3 days later Im at oshner urgent care for acute bronchitis. Oshner better place quick efficient and friendly and knowledgeable.

I am never one to write reviews online, but I flet so deeply disappointed and disgusted after my visit to this Urgent Care that I am taking the time, energy, and effort to painfully write this while I’m currently suffering from shingles. I have had serious shingles flare-ups in my early twenties, and I just so happened to have an outbreak after recently having switched my health insurances; incidentally, I have not yet picked or seen a new Primary Physician. My sign-in process, exam room experience taking vitals and measurements with the nurse was professional, smooth, and extremely comfortable. But once the Doctor on site came into the exam room for his examination and diagnosis, I couldn’t have felt more uncomfortable, disregarded, or condescended to. The doctor had no sympathy toward my very apparent shingles outbreak, not to mention the crippling accompanying pain. My outbreak spots were glanced at, if even properly observed from a reasonable distance, my outbreak locations were touched and prodded by fingers, and the fatigue and flaming flare up across my back and shoulders was made out to be nothing more than a waste of this doctor’s time. He asked no appropriate questions, but the ONLY questioned that the doctor managed to ask was: “Why would you not immediately visit your Primary Physician to get prescribed the nexesssry anti-viral medication to treat shingles?” The arrogant and lack-of-genuine-concern tone was both belittling, unhelpful, and frustrating. I was made to feel as if my changes between insurance and lack of new Primary Physician at that time was both an inconvenience and a waste of time. My concerns, my crippling pain, my desire for relief and reassurance, and my hard journey to this Urgent Care facility to be treated for a potentially dangerous and critical-feeling shingles outbreak was of little importance to this facility and the doctor on site. I would NEVER recommend wasting your time at a place that makes someone who is genuinely suffering feel anything but relieved or reassured, but if being talked down to, made to feel naive and of little priority, and spoken at (not spoken to, listened to) while having a severe shingles outbreak, this is the Urgent Care and doctor for you!

I took my 2 year old daughter there only bc it was a Sunday and she needed to see a Dr since she had been throwing up all morning. The people working in this place are not kid friendly at all... The Dr was very annoyed when he walked in the room because but the worst part was that he told me he could not check her because she was crying and she wouldnt let him.. I brought her there to be examined and he just stood there and looked at her not know what to do... He had a nurse swab her nose and determined she had the flu so he prescribed her oral medication even though I told him she could not keep anything down. He then proceeded to tell us that he was just an ENT and walked out. When I got home with her I gave her the medicine he prescribed and just as I thought she threw it up... he was the worst Dr I have ever seen and if they do not want to treat children then they should say that.. To not even examine her was absolutely ridiculous and I will never set foot in that place again... They should be ashamed of themselves... worst Dr ever!

The doctor never let me speak and he talked over me while I was trying to tell him that what he was saying was not helpful. He barged in the room and immediately started telling me everything that was wrong even though Id never met him before and the nurse had only given him a one line complaint from me. I dont think he heard anything I said to him. To top it off, this place is very expensive compared to your average walk-in clinic. They charged 2-3 times as much.

Went in with pain when urinating and lower back pain. Dr. I saw refused to listen to my problem or run any test. He said it was a pulled muscle. I have had kidney stones in the past, same pain. Wifes grandfather went in for similar trouble and told same thing. He spent 3 weeks in hospital due to kidney failure.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would.Last Sunday August 27, 2017 I went in to East Jefferson After Hours with severe hand and arm pain. The doctor refused to listen to my concerns. I had to insist on an XRAY, which he reluctantly ordered. He came in after the X-Ray and said nothing was wrong. It wasnt broken. Thats it. NO suggestions for pain relief. He treated me like I was making it up.Today, I went to the Ochsner Urgent Care on Williams Blvd. with the same complaint. Severe hand/arm pain. I was diagnosed with a pinched nerve, I was given medication in the office and prescriptions were called in. Not only that, it was $15.00 LESS than the week before and There was no wait even though it was Labor Day. Stay away from East Jefferson AFter Hours!

I sat in the lobby well over 2 hrs waiting to go in the back to see the Dr. After I got in the exam room I waited another hour and 30 min to hour and 45 min for the Dr to come in. After sitting all that time I still don’t know what’s wrong with me. The Dr I seen didn’t tell me anything helpful. I went in with dizziness and I didn’t know why and when I left out I still didn’t know why and the Dr didn’t know either. I googled how I was feeling and it seems as if I may have Veritgo. This comes from something as simple as ear infection. This Dr didn’t check my ears to see if I had any fluids or anything. I have never went to a Dr and felt like it was a waste of time. I spent almost 4 hrs at this Urgent care office and still don’t know what’s wrong with me. After spending all that time in the waiting area the Dr comes in and spend 15 min at the most with me and still didn’t know what the hell was wrong with me!! I will never visit this urgent care office ever ever again. I woke up the nxt morning dizzy again. I have never felt this dizzy in my life, it was a very scary feeling and after waking up for the 3nd morning feeling this way I decide to go across the street to the East Jefferson clinic and I explain to the Dr how I was feeling so he examed me including checking my ears and guess what I had Vertigo!!! And he also had me go do some blood work just to make sure I didn’t have anything else going on with body. I will never ever visit East Jefferson Urgent care in Kenner ever again!!! I will never let any of my family and friends go to the place. Never Ever!!!!

The level of professionalism is SUBPAR!!!The secretary at the front desk was VERY rude. While we were being shown to our room there was an employee shopping for clothes on a computer, RIGHT in the nurses station!This place is definitely lacking a proper mamagement.

Yall are open online ... yet I drive out of my way to go there since you take the insurance and then youre closed...really? Can you all at least update your website daily??
