Friendly professional staff. My hygienist, Andrea is great! Signed on to their Dental health plan. Well worth it. Cleanings are reasonable, but dental work is expensive. Need your teeth, though!

I normally have a good experience here, but my most recent visit wasn’t great. The hygienist was running late and I was her last appointment of the day, so she was very rushed to the point of being a little sloppy and quite rough. My teeth and gums were very sore the rest of the day and night. She was very nice though, and I’m willing to give her the benefit of the doubt and another shot when she’s not rushed to see if (hopefully) my experience was a fluke.

I brought my son who has significant anxiety and was allowed to accompany him. The staff was wonderful. My son explained the experience as “tolerable” so THAT speaks volumes. Everyone was friendly and treated him with dignity and respect. We will be seeing Dr Sara for follow up. Thank you to the entire staff.

The Dentist wasnt that friendly the staff was so nice but the Dentist lady she seem very cold and really judgy I have been though alot with my cancer and the last thing I needed was a Dentist doctor judging me the cancer center sent me here and I was thinking that this Dentist would of been a little more friendly and not judging me

Just arriving to Maine I had severe jaw pain and didn’t know if it was tooth, TMJ, sinus or what. They worked me in 8 am the day after I arrived and figured out quickly that it was muscle pain from driving 5 days in traffic from FL with 3 dogs 😳😁. Really helpful tx advice and it’s gone already. Thanks to staff for working me in !

I’ve been going to KCD for a few years now and have always received excellent care. The staff, both the medical team and the office folks, are invariably competent and friendly. Very pleased with them!

After 20 years of neglect, I decided to be an adult and take care of my oral situation. This practice came highly recommended and although apprehensive at first; I now clearly understand why. Shawna was exceptional, diligent and most of all patient (because if I was her, I would have cursed me out for the mess I brought in:^). Just give them your money friend, you wont regret it!

I was met by a very caring person who asked me all the necessary questions to keep all of us safe during this time of covid 19 . Andrea gave me fabulous care and respect. She was very caring and was able to top notch care after my surgery with all guidelines met for both of us. She tells like it is and I appreciate that. Thats why I drive over 1 hours to get there as Andrea and Dr shake are top notch.

Awesome place. Staff is amazing. Called and they got me right in! They just gained a patient that has been slacking the past few years.

Was disappointed in the service. Refused treatment due to insurance even though I was happy to pay out of pocket. Who has ever heard of turning away a paying client? I can understand if someone was belligerent, uncooperative or the course of treatment was out of the scope of their practice, but for a routine cleaning? Come on!

The office is clean and safeMy hygienist is knowledgeable and thorough when cleaning my teeth. I cant say enough positive things about kids and the staff.

Went there today for a new patient assessment and cleaning. In setting up the appointment they asked if I had insurance which I did. They said nothing about being out of network for all insurance companies. I did not find this out until after the entire first visit was completed and scheduling for new visit had been made and scheduling for fillings which I was unaware of at the time was needed was done. At that point I found out that I was most likely going to be paying out of pocket which came as a complete surprise. I believe that theyre not being upfront about being out of network on initial setup of initial appointments is underhanded and inappropriate.

Wonderful experience! I had a tooth that was hurting horribly for a few weeks I had been using Ibuprofen, heat and cold pads, and mouth rinses to relieve the pain. One day all of these werent enough and didnt relieve the pain at all. I couldnt focus at work so I decided to leave, before leaving I spoke to my colleagues and they told me to ask one of our teachers since he was more of a local and he had a dentist close by. After speaking with him, I gave the dentist a call and after explaining my predicament I was given a last-minute appointment on that same day to see the dentist. I was referred to an oral surgeon to remove the tooth to whom Im currently waiting for my appointment. Ive previously had some really bad experiences with dentists throughout my life. I believe this is the best dentist I have ever visited in my life. They are very gentle, kind, and compassionate. The waiting rooms are comfortable, the wait is short, and the price is reasonable. The dentist and nurses are also very kind, and they listen to you. They arent rough, and they arent apathetic when taking scans even though you have really bad pain on that tooth or area of your mouth. If I could rate this clinic I would say a 10/5 for everything, unfortunately, I can only rate it 5/5 because that is the maximum allowable stars. Thank you

The Kennebunk Center for Dentistry is a State of the Art practice.Doctor Sheikh did two crowns on me; her expertise combined with the new technology is impressive. The staff was attentive to my needs and very knowledgeable. We are fortunate to have this practice in Kennebunk.

As a fellow dental professional I felt like I was receiving the best care possible. Dr. Sheikh did my exam and was very helpful and approachable when talking about any ongoing issues. Aurelya did a great job cleaning my teeth and I was happy she didn’t let my mouth fill with water like some other hygienist I’ve seen.

I have been going here for 6-8 years now and love them. HOWEVER, since the unfortunate passing of the previous owner there has been a lot of turnover and I have had Three different hygienists. Yesterday I had a new one. While very sweet she was rough and last night my gums were very sore and still are today. I will call to change. She failed to do the usual measuring of my gum line/recession and I felt the cleaning was subpar.

I had a really good experience with Dr. Koo and Sally. Im a terrible wimp and they were both very patient and kind. Dr. Koo is incredibly gentle and efficient. I wouldnt let anyone else perform an implant now that Ive had him. And Sally has a great singing voice!The whole staff in this office is fabulous!

Wonderful practice for an “out-of-townah” on my honeymoon. A permanent crown came out due to a taffy incident and I was scared to let it wait a whole week until I got back to my home state. Dr Sheikh is one of the only local doctors who would take the time out of their schedule to accommodate and take care of me and understood the situation. I thank her and her assistant Sally for treating me so kindly and fixing my problem. I highly recommend them to any new patient.

I thought I had found a good practice till I had a dental emergency and because their computers were down I was told they could do nothing for me and I was forwarded to the emergency room . Then for two days after I have been calling because I need follow up treatment for my emergency and no one is answering the phone for two days during normal business hours. I have left messages and no return phone call. I do not know how a business can run like that but I will not return to them since I was left high and dry during a dental emergency after being a patient for nearly four years.

I arrived for my first appointment ever, and had five-star treatment from the moment I walked in the door. I relaxed in the massage chair before settling in for a cleaning with LIsa. She used state-of-the-art equipment, had a fabulous affect, explained everything in just the right amount of detail for my taste, and moved quickly and competently. The bonus? An unexpected, high-tech cancer screening that came up negative. Id recommend Kennebunk Center For Dentistry without reservation.

I chose the Kennebunk Center for Dentistry...this was a very good decision. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional...state of the art equipment...its like going to a spa.

I want to thank the Center and especially the whole dental staff. They were all very supportive of my problem with a broken cap. The fact that I was not a patient, that I needed their expertise immediately because I am on a boat and we were set to leave the next day were not insurmountable issues.Michael

They are not a preferred provider for the most common insurance in the northeast (Blue Cross). Be aware before you schedule an appointment. Its an expensive mistake and this place will not be forgiving, despite their websites claim that they would make their fees known in advance.

I have had several crowns made at KCD now and I am very happy with the work of Dr. sheikh.

This morning I sat in a comfortable chair in a beautiful, quiet, spacious contemporary office environment, while Heather cleaned & checked my teeth with the very latest equipment. .She immediately put me at ease while she worked quickly & efficiently to get my teeth clean, white & oh so smooth.The lemon-scented hot face towel she handed to me when she was done.was most refreshing & seeing the enlarged photos of my teeth on the screen in front of me helped me to understand why several teeth will need further attention in the coming months. My husband & I traveled from Brunswick to Kennebunk to be treated by Dr. Sheikh & her colleagues today & it was delightful to see her again, as she had been our favorite dentist in Topsham. Dr. Shazib was there & gave us a wonderful tour of the facility. He also gave us a glimpse of what this state-of-the-art Dental Practice has planned for the future. It is definitely worth the 1-hour drive each way to receive this level of courteous, pleasant & professional care. We will be traveling to Kennebunk for all of our dental care from now on!
