I had a couple of bad experiences my 2 previous times getting glasses, so I was hesitant when a friend recommended this optometrist. I am glad to say this was the best experience I have ever had buying anything. From the beginning the young gentleman, Mario Bode the OD tech, was able to answer all my questions and made me feel at home. Then the optometrist, Dr. Lodono, was able to correctly identify my problem and diagnosed me with eye allergies and provided me with the right medicine to get the relief I was looking for for months. Finally I sat with Neyade the manager to chose the right glasses for me. The attention and care she had with me was out of this world. That type of customer service does not exist anymore. From beginning to end the customer service was stellar, I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

Dr. Londono was just wonderful. She was so knowledgeable and explained things very well. She was also friendly and professional. Amanda, the sales associate, was very patient and helpful. The receptionist and pre eye exam assistant were nice too but I don’t remember their names. This location (town and country) was way better than the one in cutler bay!

This establishment is clearly poorly ran. I set up an appointment for my husband and I. No where did it specify that I had to be 15 minutes earlier to my appointment. Which I find ironic due to the fact that I’ve been here a countless amount times and have had me wait almost 30 minutes to go in. Suddenly we have to be 15 minutes earlier to our appointments ? What do you need me here for 15 minutes before.. if you’re worried about washing hands and taking temperatures that shouldn’t take more than 3 minutes. Not only are you loosing business from me but as well as my family as I’m no longer going to take my eye care to this establishment. Daisy was the one that said she couldn’t do both of our appointments that she would only be able to do one appointment. I’ve recommended a numerous amount of people that I know to go here for eye care and starting now I’ll no longer recommend anyone here.

I had a really bad experience at the americas best in cutler bay so came here. The manager was very pleasant and took care of me. She took it upon herself to make it up to me even though she was never at fault. I appreciated that and will definitely be coming to this location for all my vision needs!

Disrespect all around. No amount of positivity and politeness would bring smile on the staff members faces. Everybody looks so grim. Not a single pair of demo glasses were cleaned and you can barely see how they fit you in the mirror looking through them. Suuper long waiting time, even though only few customers and a lot of reps working..Update: John(associate assisting me)was absolutely amazing. Patient, caring and honest.From one star up to 3..Update: totally unorganized exams scheduling. Had my pre-exam done 50mins ago and still waiting to be seen by the doctor. They keep putting people in front of me that arrived 20-30 mins after.. I am on the borderline of simply leaving and doing all of this at another store..Back to 2 stars..

FIRST REVIEW: The experience was ok. I have been wearing contacts/glasses for 20 years so I have seen a fair amount of doctors in optometry. The reason for my 2-star review is due to the poor quality of service provided by the technician. There’s no question that he was able to perform his duties. He greatly lacked the care and sensitivity to be expected of someone in the medical field. While my vision is high and I have become used to it, does not mean that I am not affected when someone refers to it as, “WOW, that’s a high prescription man. Can you even see right now?” While sitting there waiting for the doctor to see me, I noticed that this location, and perhaps other America’s Best, are run similar to a factory.If the technician were more careful with his word selection, the review would be much higher. Take more time to make the customers experience a pleasant one, pay attention to your customers not your coworkers, and treat customers professionally.I mentioned my experience to the doctor and she said it was best that I leave a review.UPDATE to FIRST REVIEW: Received a call from the Manager at this location who extended her apologies for the situation. She mentioned that she has spoke with the associate and plans to incorporate more training for him. Additionally, she assured me that she would make it up on my next visit. 3 stars.

I was pleasantly surprised. I arrived early and was still taken care of. I was in and out of the exam rooms rather quickly. Staff was nice and doctor was thorough and explained everything in detail. I also had some questions and he answered those as well. I will definitely come back for my annual checkup and I would also definitely recommend this business.

I used to go to America’s Best in Flagler and that one is perfect. I came here in Kendall, it was the worst experience, I came in and nobody say “good afternoon” neither smiled, looked at me, or at least, made some gesture to wait. I was standing there for like 5 minutes. the front desk person, only looked at me when I said “goodbye”

Alyssa helped me and she was amazing! She was extremely kind not only to me but to all of her employees. She is also very quick and efficient, I was in and out in less than an hour. Will definitely continue coming to the America’s Best in town and country so long as she is there!

After reading the reviews, I was a little concerned. My first visit in the store was 5 years ago, it was a good experience. Long over due. Todays visit was pleasant, appointment at 9:30, out the door by 10:35. Had all tests preformed, selected glasses, and sized. All employees were professional. I am not one to write reviews.

I brought 3 pairs of glasses with them. My screw broke in half that holds the lens to the frame of the glasses. I spoke to Manager Amanda and she is the worst representative every. She told that I had to buy another frame cause The frames or lenses come with an either or warranty but not both. The screw is an defect but she said no . Loyal customer is no good here and her customer service sucks !!!Boycott this store!!!!!

On January 27, we visited this store and were approached by the manager, Neyade Alvarez, which immediately assisted us on resolving our issue. She diligently searched the store high and low in search of the perfect fitting glasses for my lenses. She is a true professional and a tremendous asset to America’s Best. Customer service is terrible, I called and they left me on hold well over ten mins. Then I tried back and first was hung up on, then sent straight to hold music. The reviews are spot on. The owner should address this since the options for eye care are abundant enough that I do not need to return.

Horrible customer experience. Representative refused to take my temperature from my wrist. I went to different location the following day and they had no problem taking my temperature from the wrist. The representative said not everyone is comfortable having a laser gun pointed at their head/brain and they wouldnt turn members away if they can take the temperature elsewhere. This led be to feel her response was racially motivated. I will never be returning to this location and hope that the representatives this branch go through cultural sensitivity training as well as training to properly use the laser thermometer so they dont lose any more long time members.

A few days ago I took my mom to do a vision exam. As soon as she arrived at the front desk the girls said good morning and welcome. Miss Melissa helped my mother fill out her personal information and Mrs. Susan helped her to get her vision insurance, then they took her to do the pre-test and then Dr. Pluas saw her, and then Mrs. Eliete helped her choose her glasses she does not speak English and she felt very good because everyone helped her a lot, I feel very happy that my mother has had such good service

This America’s Best (Mills Dr) is America’s Worst. It has horrendous customer service issues. Reviewers agree.In all fairness, after the horrible experience I had, Manager Neyade (?) ended up helping me (when I finally asked for a manager), and she gave me a full refund on the glasses. She was SUPER nice and I really appreciate her help.I took my elderly mom here for distance glasses. Everything was great until after I paid. Once you pay, there is NO more customer service. We went to get the glasses. Per COVID regulations, our temperatures were taken and we were sent to the girl who works the front desk; she never spoke to us, never acknowledged us, nothing. Eventually, she came over and asked our name. She put my mom’s glasses on the counter (she cleaned them first), and went back and sat down. It was shocking how she didn’t even say hello to us or see if the glasses were correct or if they fit properly. The sunglasses were wrong (they were graduated and we didn’t order that). So, we had to call her back and tell her. She took them from us and went somewhere, then came back and sat down at her desk. NEVER said, I’m sorry – just a minute – I’ll get someone to help you. Nothing. Then, a very nice young man came over and he knew the glasses were wrong based on our order, so he said they would be fixed and they’d call when they were ready. We left, stunned at how we were treated.After waiting over a week for the redo with no call, I called them. A snarky woman answered the phone and immediately said, “please hold.” Problem is, she never came back on the line. I began my call at 9:55 am. Waited, waited, waited on hold, then called back. “Please hold” again. Never came back on the line. I called back 5 times (I’m persistent) and was repeatedly put on hold! I called again and asked for a supervisor but was told she was busy. Now, I didn’t even want the sunglasses, or the regular ones – I wanted a refund because: 1) the regular glasses were wrong in 1 lens and needed to be redone; 2) I never received the sunglasses. I was SO over American’s Worst, and a refund was my best option. These calls took me more than half an hour (I gave up at 10:30 am), so I finally hung up and decided to go the next day for a refund. At some point during the next hour or so, the supervisor (Neyade) did call me back and left a message that was very pleasant asking me to call her back. Problem with that was, it was the same number I had called earlier and I wasn’t interested in being put on hold again. I did not call her back.I went the next day and received a full refund (with a little gentle arguing with the manager). And, by the way, when I went the next day, the sunglasses were ready, yet I had never received a call to come get them.That all being said, our initial experience in going there was pleasant: 1) the Dr. (Dr Luis Pluas, O.D.,) was exemplary. He was kind and patient with my mom. 2) The guy who you order glasses from – he, too, was very nice, polite and patient while my mother picked glasses. 3) I appreciate the COVID precautions – they take your temp, and only allow a few people in at a time, and the place seems clean. Also, after you handle the sample glasses, you put them in a separate box to be cleaned. Unfortunately, these positives couldn’t get me to go here again. I gave the 2 stars only because of the initial visit and the manager – otherwise it would have been zero.If anyone in a managerial position reads these reviews – PAY ATTENTION to them. They all say the same thing – NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. If more than a few people say that, WHY don’t you fix it? A lot the reviewers agree, the Drs. and the eyeglass people are nice, but once they take your money, they are done with you! While we were very happy with the initial exam and buying the glasses, when we went back we were treated like yesterday’s trash. Seriously, management, read the reviews.

Dr. Gloria Benitez is AWFUL. I saw her two/three years ago and she gave me the wrong prescription for my eye and I had bought a year worth of contacts. I had to go to the America’s best in Kendall and 117th. come today I went back to this location had a good experience with the other doctor they have but she told me I had to use drops so I bought the drops and came back for a follow up appointment I came in today not knowing I was going to see Dr. Benitez and not the other doctor and the following happened:1) my appointment was at 9:30 I got there at 9:06 and wasn’t seen until 10:15 and other people were called before me.2) coming in she was SUPER rude didn’t say hi how are you nothing.3) told me my eye was 50/60% better but STILL I couldn’t get a prescription. been two three appointments bought the eye drops they told me to get and I still have NO prescription I basically can’t see because my glasses have an old prescription. They are denying to give me my prescriptionhorrible experience here if I knew I would have to see this doctor again I would have left since the beginning because of my previous experience with her years ago giving me the wrong prescription.

Worst experience ever in getting glasses. They gave me the wrong prescription in my glasses. Went back three times and told them the glasses are not right. Last time I went in they said I was out of the three month warranty and I had to pay for new lens, when it was their mistake. I will never go back.

Walking in for eye exam was no trouble. Meeting with the doctor was great. She was informative and patient while conducting my exam. Even the sales rep who helped pick out pick out my new glasses and complete the purchase was helpful and very informative. Thus the two star review.After that it’s been nothing but awful customer service. Received a call / voicemail my glasses were ready. No problem, I stop by 3 days AFTER that call. I walk in and I’m so unenthusiastically greeted, it makes me rethink the 3 year “membership” I paid for. I don’t let it get to me, this is Miami after all but then I have the in store employee advise only one pair of my glasses are ready. Um, excuse me, I only ordered the one pair (Maybe review orders before telling customers what is and isn’t ready? Just a suggestion.) I wait for my one pair of glasses to be located only to have them “pop in the lenses” while I’m there. Waiting was no biggie as it didn’t very take long, only problem was they put them in backwards TWICE. Then were bothered when I asked that they go double check the right Lenses were correctly installed (I have different prescriptions on the left and right eyes). Finally got that sorted. Still missing my contacts prescription, to say I am not looking forward to coming back is an understatement.Update:I have been waiting for AN HOUR to be seen for my scheduled appointment. America’s Best? Maybe try rebranding, be honest and call yourselves America’s Worst.

I went to Americas best for the first time and the truth is I was amazed with the service and efficiency they have, they are very fast, very good doctors, i bought my dougter a pair of glasses and they explained all the benefits of putting the polycarbonate lenses because of her prescriptioin and the benefits of the blue light and antiglare. I also had an old pair of glasses and Amanda adjusted them for me, i was rreally happy after she adjusted them, they look like new. Im really happy of the service will totally recommed!!!!

Very very bad costumer service. They do not know how to treat people. They kicked me out just because i was only super Vising on my little sister. Very rude and disrespectful. They keep asking you for information they already know more than once. Kept telling me you cant stand u need to sit down , which during these times i dont want to sit down on a chair that a lot of people might of touched. VERY RUDE

Had an appointment at 930. I waited about 15 minutes. And I saw dr 5 min after the initial exam room. The dr was so kind and answered all the questions I had. Gave me samples until I received my box and spent time explaining how to help me with the issue I was having with my vision. I love it here have been going 3 years now. Front staff took me about 10 min after seeing DR and they were friendly and fast. Definitely recommend!

Ive been trying to make an appointment going on two days now, and Ive given up. With this much lack of professionalism to just make an appointment Id rather give my service somewhere else. Was told I would get a call back letting me know if they took my insurance, never received a call. I instead called them. Being placed on hold numerous times I finally receive the news my insurance is taken, so as Im asking the lady on the phone if I can make an appointment, I get put on hold for the 4th time mid-sentence. 5 minutes on hold led to me hanging up. So much for having the word Best in their name.

Great doctors and deals.Recently, I ordered contacts and asked if the receipt would be in the box (insurance purposes)...in which they said yes. However, when the box arrived there was only an order form. I called, they said they could not fax/email and I had to pick up the receipt. I picked it up, but never recieved sorry for the inconvenience or sorry we provided the incorrect information originally. Disappointed because I have been a loyal customer for over 4 years.UPDATE 10/5/20I received a call that my contacts were ready. I advised the rep that I would pick up once my glasses were ready (so I didnt make 2 trips) they said no problem. A few minutes later, they called and said my glasses were ready and I asked are you sure. So I went to pick up and my glasses were not ready. They apologized for the miscommunication. They gave me my contacts in my hand and not in a bag. All in all the doctors are good and most of the staff is well informed with good customer service.

First time here. I did my exam somewhere else about a week ago but was not please with the selection. I visited another eyeglass store but it seemed very unorganized and was also not pleased with the selection, but to their defense it was a Saturday morning with more traffic. The receptionist was friendly and the two ladies were knowledgeable and very helpful. Both ladies who assisted me have worked with company over 6 years and I was very pleased with their service. I dont normally write reviews, but I felt they went above and beyond.

Don’t waste your time! My husband went back a week after he got his glasses to exchange them for a different pair and a month later they tried to give him back the exact same glasses he returned. The dummies that work there seem to be brain dead. Spend a little extra money and go somewhere with better customer service.

Lisy is amazing! So kind and patient with me! I spent like 40 minutes choosing between 4 frames (that were all similar) and she gave me her opinions and laughed with me when I got nervous, I felt comfortable and wasn’t rushed at all. She did point me to expensive glasses but once I rejected she never pressured me to go back and she helped me look through the affordable lenses. She explained the protection plan and never made me feel like I needed it but she did let me know that it was worth to have, she’s great at selling and convincing without making you feel uncomfortable. 10/10 best service thank you so much lisy!!!!

Everyone was very nice and professional. Wait times werent bad at all. Exam was smooth and thorough with advanced equipment.Dont like that for contacts they have you come back every week until its perfect. How about give me what you think i need or what I request, and Ill come back if I have issues? I told them I use dailies they gave me monthlies. Used them one day and never again. Went to follow up wearing glasses, the dailies i need they didnt have, now I have to go back when they arrive and go through the process again?

My friend whent to get his eyes checked. Since he did not buy the glasses they kept his prescription hostige, even though he paid. Supposedly the Dr had not signed it, but had he bought, then the prescription would have been ready to use immediately after the check up. Horrible, its all false advertising.

Dr. Saint Louis at a glance was thorough and personable, the associate John was very helpful and knowledgeable, they have a decent selection of glasses, but that is all I really have to say that is GOOD about them. I was in the store while they were getting ready to close and one of the associates who was walking around cleaning the mirrors, decided it would be okay to clean the mirror on the table I was sitting at. I was engulfed by the ammonia smell from the Windex causing me to have a migraine. The atmosphere was rather unprofessional with front desk representatives fishing for compliments from male employees. The worst part of my experience was when I received the itemized list of what my charges were going to be. When I was being examined by Dr. Saint Louis, she asked if I was interested in contacts. I expressed that I didnt want them since I havent had the best experiences with soft or hard versions of them. She told me she would give me a free pair of soft contacts that may work for me for me to try out. That was great, but what wasnt was when I noticed that I had to pay for $79 dollars for the contacts examination. At no point was I told exactly when it was that I was being examined for contacts, and I was not advised that I would be charged something separate, but I was slammed for that service anyways. I dont want the contacts, I didnt want them to begin with. When I am called in to pick up the trial pair along with my glasses, I will reject the contacts. The only other time I will be walking into this store is if I have an issue with my glasses. I will not being doing business with this company again...I dont wish to be forced to throw money away due to false pretenses.

My son needed his 2 pair of eyeglasses adjusted. We walked in on Wednesday at 10 am.There wasnt a wait at the reception and we were directed to sit at one of the 3 optical stations. There was 1 customer picking up new glasses and she seemed happy with them. After a few minutes, the associate attended to us. He took the 2 pair of glasses and did the adjustments with several attempts to the 1 pair.He was attentive and professional to make sure my sons glasses fit comfortably.We were out 15 minutes.

Today I had a complicated and busy day. It is 4 PM and it is the first moment I get to sit down, breathe and relax. I wanted to take this opportunity to give Dr. Julie Anna Shaefer and the front desk staff a shout out. I was not in my best mood this morning as my to-do list kept on getting longer and longer. Julie picked up on my stress and urgency. While I definitely needed to renew my contact prescription, I also needed to get to my office ASAP to put out some fires. We have been customers of the kendall location since February 2019 when we first learned my 12 year old daughter needed glasses. Unfortunately, it has become way more then just glasses, my daughter has been losing vision consistently during the last year to the point were she is what would be considered legally blind. The entire staff has been a breath of fresh air from the managers Mrs. Alvarez and Amanda to Dr. Luis. They have been heaven sent. As you could imagine it has been very challenging dealing with a 12 year old in this condition but they always find a way to make sure to put a smile on her face and to get her excited about her new pair of glasses. Mind you we have had the need to visit about every 2 months, I am not talking about a one time experience. I asure you, here they look at and care for their customers as an individual not just a number. They have a great variety for kids, adults and even safety glasses. My daughter has the cutes frames for both regular and prescription sunglasses😍 A giant thank you to all of the staff you guys are truly making our process easier 😊🥰

Figured I would try this out since they had the three-year for $99 exam deal including contact lenses. The prescription was off I had to had have them redo it but after I told them the prescription I wanted I got three pairs of really nice frameless drill mount glasses for what I would pay for just one anywhere else. Lidice was terrible help she got mad because I did not like the glasses and did not want to give me the prescription without buying glasses from them. The doctor and rest of staff were very nice. And let me pay for just the perscription.

I was very disappointed with this place. I love the doctors but the saleslady, Yeny, was so pushy and insulting that I left so devastated and disappointed. I have been here for years but today I wanted to cry from this very irritating and pushy girl. Last year, they put the wrong prescription on my glasses which the doctor showed me on a machine. I was never able to use them. Today I was wanting to redo through insurance but Yeny kept insisting I should get a different pair and pay extra to correct the ones THEY made wrong. I am a very peaceful person but it got to the point I asked her to get me an English speaker. Since she wouldn’t, I left so upset. What a terrible experience.

I took my exam for the third year in that location ,because I always have a good experience with the doctor magdalena st Louis who always take good care of me and my family, the staff is very professional and always they are willing to help me to find the perfect fit for my glasses. Very disappointed with this place. They lack people to explain the services and pricing of what they are doing.They usually close before the time that shows on the door. If you asking questions the just ignore you. When I went to pick up my glasses they helped other people that clearly got there after me.Doctor is good but seams to be on a hurry all the time so they rush you on the exam.I can definitely say that you can find a better place to go to.

Is there a negative on this app? I will never go to this place again. Ive been a patient for about three years and I called yesterday after injuring my eye and they refused to see me. It would have taken 5 minutes to just look at the eye but NO. Funny thing is, the person answering the phone first asked if I wanted to make an appointment 🤣 Lousy Service 😡 I could have lost my eye. Thanks for caring about your patients.You lost a client.

I shouldve read the reviews before I came here. The doctor is good, but the staff in the front is awful. Everything is disorganized with customers standing around waiting but never being acknowledged while the staff argues with each other and puts customers on hold. I also didnt like being forced to try a new cheap brand of their contacts and return for a followup even though I have been wearing the same brand of contacts for years without issue. I just needed the prescription which would not be released to me unless I came to the followup.

This locations staff is extremely unprofessional. I wouldnt recommend this place to my enemies in all honesty. They love to lie about waiting times regarding frame delivery and I feel like the optometrist is highly unqualified for the job. I dont usually even bother to leave reviews anywhere so imagine how upset I have to be to go out of my way to make sure people are aware.

I didnt even have to walk into the store to experience the inclination of the representative I spoke to on the phone. I made an appointment and all I was trying to do was verify my insurance; TWO of my family members just went to the same place, and did exactly what I was trying to do, which was renew a prescription. Not only did she patronize me by trying to tell me that they went to a different place WHEN she had prior information ON FILE, she put me on hold multiple times, she was extremely uncivil in the way she dealt with me. Furthermore, when trying to explain to her what I was trying to do several times, and getting brushed off and treated with disdain, I cancelled my appointment. I refuse to deal with such substandard customer service and after dealing with all that i did JUST over the phone, I will be taking my service elsewhere. It would be selfish of me not to write this review for others to know what theyre getting into before they do.

The recepcionist was very very rude, not even looked at us while speaking. My wife and I got there with our 9 months old baby and 5 minutes past the time of the schedule they didn’t want to assist us. Literally, five minutes past the schedule time and the woman said that the doctor would be able to assist us. We told her that we were leaving then and, still without raising her eyes to look at us, just said “OK”. I’m so sorprised that in the US we still have these kind of businesses, specially when we have tons of better options around and we decided to give them a try. My recommendation: go to any other place if you want a better treatment and not to go with the hurry that they won’t assist you if you get 5 minutes late in the parking lot.

Im writing this review after having not only one, (which most did NOT even have appointments) but FOUR people have gone ahead of me with a scheduled appointment. not only is this happening today, but it has happened previously about 2 other times where weve waited even for up to an hour WITH AN APPOINTMENT. ive had no problems with the actual work at this location and the doctors and staff are all very good and very helpful, but this is ridiculous and absolutely unprofessional. it hasnt happened every time weve come by MIRACLE- each time this happens weve had to ask staff why my chart wasnt even on the wall and they had to look for it so they could even CALL ME! unacceptable.

This place is a meet factory. Churn people in out as quickly as possible. My first visit was for an eye exam. The doctors are great, however the staff is terrible. When I asked for my contacts prescription they said they would not give it to me until I try on the trial pair. They did not have my prescription so I had to wait 7-10 days to get them. Considering how bad my prescription is this was totally understandable. Finally my contacts come in, I go in try them on and see the Dr to make sure they are good. I asked for my prescription again and was told I had to wait in another line to speak to one of the staff to get this. Fine, an hour and half later still havent been seen so I left because Ive already spent 2 hours in the middle of a week day. I call the next day and explain to them what happened and if I could please have them give me my prescription over the phone. The first lady after I told her put me on hold, I preceded to tell my story to 5 different people who all put me on hold finally the last person told me oh we dont do that over the phone, you have to come in and then hung up on me. Also the trial pair contacts are of very poor quality. Havent worn contacts since my visit cause you know I dont know my prescription. Save yourself time and money, do not even bother with this place

Terrible service. do not come here. i came in with glasses that needed to be readjusted and left with glasses that were snapped broken. management has yet to make it right after emailing back and forth for a week with no resolution or compensation. i will never be coming back and urge anyone whos thinking of trusting them to STAY FAR AWAY. the staff is incompetent and management is USELESS.

Its so crazy how Americas Best (made in China) glasses Facebook page doesn’t let anyone leave reviews... Im sure they would look like the ones they have on Google, which are embarrassing for a business like them to have.My nightmarish experience started a month and a half ago when I went to take my 1st eye exam with my wife who was renewing her vision. Her experience was a completely different disaster.Up until i paid for everything it was the smoothest process I had ever seen. But once the money changes hands you open up a huge can of worms.It took almost 2 weeks to get 1 pair of the 2 pairs I had paid for, ok il make due, even though I was told prior to paying it would take less than 1 week. Throughout the next 3 weeks I continued receiving phone calls telling me the glasses were ready and I would go to the store just for them to tell me they don’t know why Im getting calls saying they are ready when in fact they are not ready. I still get calls saying the same thing today, almost 2 months later, go figure.Anyway 3 weeks of b.s phone calls I finally go to pick up the 2nd pair. After putting them on they are hurting my ears (made in china) so I I would like to exchange them. They said fine great, give us a week.Knowing how ridiculous and disorganized they are I give them 3 weeks before calling to find out whats going on. I couldn’t get a straight answer from any of the employees there so I drove to the store. I go in last Saturday to pick up the new pair and the employee hands me the same exact pair I left them 3 weeks prior. I lost my sh**. I gave them back and walked out saying I would bring the other pair and return everything, I just want my money back. They can keep both pairs.Truth is I need glasses, I never knew my vision was as blurry as I learned. What I don’t need is the headaches and frustrations that come with dealing with such a ridiculous company. Or my wife to receive a horrible attitude from customer service when calling to resolve my issue.I DO NOT RECOMMEND Americas Best (made in China) and I am extremely unhappy with the poor poor service from both store clerks and phone customer service.This company should be ashamed of the ridiculous service it provides their customers. And I would evaluate my business plan if I was the owner because this company will not last long providing this type of service.

Theres been nothing but delays, 7-10 days to get a TRIAL pair of contact lenses. And if those turn out to be a poor fit then another 7-10 day delay. Youre stuck without contact lenses until you go through the whole ordeal. And after you get a proper fit then more waiting time to get your contact lens order. The worse part... NO ATTEMPT at CUSTOMER SERVICE from the staff at all. In fact THEY COULDNT MAKE IT MORE CLEAR that they dont give a rats rear. Whos managing these employees????

The Dr that works out of this office is great. The store itself is garbage. The staff is very sub par. Waited around forever, was ignored, only when I said I was leaving did they scramble to help me. My wife bought contacts there and it took twice as long to get them. She went into the store and they literally ripped the label off some other patients order and gave them to her. Again the Dr is really good, but skip the store. The selection is crap anyway.

I went in last wednesday to have both of my pairs adjusted. The lens were completely fine, it was just the frames that were a bit crooked. I have had other bad experiences with this location in the past but had no choice but to return to this location since it is the closest to me. I walk in, explain my reason for the visit and they promptly send me to the customer service area. Everything is fine up until this point. I explained my situation of the glasses to the associate and she proceeds to adjust them. As i try the first pair on, i see multiple scratches right in my line of sight on both the left and right side. I try to clean them and the scratches do not come off. She hands me my second pair and again scratches on the both lens that did not come off after cleaning it. I asked her what she used to clean them that wouldve caused this because i did not bring them in like that at all. She said that everything they used is meant for proper maintenance of glasses. I told her that i understood but that i DID NOT bring my glasses like this. She said she is not sure what it couldve been. I asked her if she was supposed to remove the lens from the frame (lens have anti-reflective coating) before applying heat because she didnt remove the lenses to make the adjustment and she just said again that everything is meant for them. I asked another associate if there is anything they have that can remove this and he said no that this is damage most likely caused from leaving glasses out too long outside in the sun cause of the HEAT! I was extremely upset as i now have two pairs with scratches right in my line of sight. The associate never wanted to admit that she was the reason for this and even had the audacity to ask me if they bother me that much! Really!? Its like wearing a dirt pair of lenses and not seeing clear. I was so upset that i just left! They didnt even offer a solution of any kind. Spent over $360 for these glasses to only have a bad experience from day 1 and im not even mentioning the previous problems Ive had with this location. I recommend everyone that is considering this company and location to go somewhere else. Iam a very understanding person but this was just too much.****(Update)****Corporate office has contacted me and offered to resolve the issue. Very happy and pleased that they were able to make it right. Changed the star rating.

I had an appointment at 6 pm and arrive at 6:10 pm because I got caught in the Miami traffic coming from my job in Coral Gables . I called them to let them know they I was on my way they said ok. ,,Mind you they had called me several times prior to my appointment to confirm that i was going. .. anyway I showed up and they refuse to see me because according to them I had to get there by 6:10 pm and I did and they still refused to see me . They never ever in any of there calls informed that i needed to arrive before 6:10 pm... Very unprofessional and not courteous to patients.. that so call rule is not posted on there website or anywhere in the store and they never informed me when they called me to confirm.

This store has some of the worst customer service. The location in town and country in Kendall is terrible. I had ordered a pair of contact lenses for trial and hadnt gotten them for 2 weeks. So I decided to call them to see what was going on and they had told me that they havent even placed the order yet. We had the pleasure of meeting Eliette who was truly pleasant, extremely patient, courteous and professional. We had countless questions regarding the best alternative and could not decide between using the insurance or the store membership for the purchase.
