A few weeks ago I evacuated to Fort Worth due to Hurricane Laura. While there I reinjured my back but of course could not see my regular chiropractor. My daughter saw some excellent reviews of Dr. Nguyen and said I should try there. When I called, he got me in right away. I couldnt stand straight when I arrived and was in a lot of pain. After a thorough exam and some X-rays, he confirmed the cause of my pain. After three adjustments I was standing straight again and the pain was very much reduced. I have had minor back pain for 50 years. But on January 14, 2020, I developed level 8-9 leg pain. In a wheelchair most of 12 weeks. A neurologist and an orthopedic surgeon could not find any problems. Not able to stand the pain any longer I went to see Johnny. After just 3 treatments my leg pain was down to a level 2 - 3. I am now pain-free and back to functioning normally. With proper back alignment I now feel better than ever.

During my 4th pregnancy I had sharp pain on my left hip that caused me to put a lot of weight on my right leg. After pregnancy, the pain from my left hip traveled down to my leg. After reviewing my x-rays, he was able to detect the root cause of my pain and is now working towards correcting the nerve interference. My neck, hip, and leg are feeling a lot better, and I can now lift my 3y/o! Pregnancy changes a lot of things in my body, from neck, back, hip, to constipation, so I would recommend any mom to go see Thrive Chiropractic.

Dr. Nguyen, has helped me a lot. I came to him with a problem with my heels, lower back and neck pain. I had been dealing with these issues a little over 2 years. The pain was so severe that, My right leg would be numb at times. Then my left side of face was completely paralyzed. Due to the pain, it made it hard for me to sleep at night and to stand for long periods of time. Dr. Nguyen performed a thorough analysis of my spine and targeted those problem areas. Prior to my treatment, I could not lift my lower back and the pain was so bad that it kept me awake at night. After receiving treatment from Dr. Nguyen, my back is feeling a lot better. I had been living with pain for 24 years in my lower back. It was so bad that there were moments I could not even go to work or even thought about not going on vacation with my family, in fear of it getting worse. I was scheduled for surgery 3 different times, but I was afraid of being in a wheelchair for the rest of my life and didnt go through with it. Pain became a normal part of my life and I was always taking pain killers to try to alleviate some of the pain. After years of doing it, this became normal for me and I had no hope. I saw Dr. Nguyen after someone referred me to him. I didnt have much hope since no other chiropractor fixed my pain. Dr. Nguyen did a very thorough exam that no other chiropractor did and he explained to me why I was having pain. I was even able to understand my x-rays because he took the time to explain old injuries I had when I was younger and how they were affecting me now. I was experiencing pretty bad low back pain for quite some time in preparation for a bodybuilding competition. With the intense training and lack of calories to support heavy weight lifting, fatigue took a toll on my body and I lost my form during a particular training session which lead to my low back pain. Luckily, a friend recommended Dr. Nguyen.Dr. Nguyen was very professional and explained in detail what was going on with my body. How that manifested to the symptoms that I was experiencing, and how he could help me. He explained how the pelvis is the foundation of the body, and if that is off, it can really affect not only your low back but also everything leading up to your neck. He found that my Sacrum bone was pushed backwards!He is a different type of Chiropractor! He utilizes the Gonstead technique which in my bias opinion, is the best technique in the world of Chiropractic. I am saying this because literally after the first adjustment, I felt so much relief. Each time that I saw Dr. Nguyen, I left feeling a ton better than when I first walked through his doors. After only 3 adjustments, I was back in the gym continuing my training for my show. Dr. Nguyen is truly a miracle worker. I hurt my back deadlifting a few months back and was out of it for several weeks. Simply walking was causing excruciating pain, so I tried several chiropractors with little to no help and would sometimes feel even worse afterwards. In December of last year I went to the clinic for pain in my upper and lower back, also with great difficulty going up and down stairs.
