Keith Miller O.D. at this location completely got my prescription wrong. He gave the wrong measurements for my right eye contacts resulting in blurry vision. When I called to have it corrected (after spending $200 plus on contacts) they refused to do a follow-up, check the contacts they sold me or show any kind of basic human decency. Instead they wanted another $90 for a new appointment. Shame on the management here. I’d give a zero if I could. I’m now out hundreds of dollars in contacts I can’t exchange. Avoid at all cost.

Employee is too lazy to walk 15 feet or read my name on the receipt she is holding.As I was picking up my overpriced for the quality glasses that they didnt bother calling me about, they sat me down in a random part of the store. After waiting for a while she started yelling across the store, sir, maam, sir, maam, sir, sir! Maybe instead of misgendering me, take the zero effort to walk over or read my name. Now I have two pairs of glasses that dont fit me because I was too upset to stick around for proper fitment.

Americas Best is wonderful. Everyone is very friendly, professional, and helpful.The location is perfect, right off of the I-5 freeway and the prices are very reasonable, especially if you become a member of their club. Prices on exams, glasses, and contacts are discounted.They are a chain so there are plenty of locations available in most areas with online services to book exams, order contacts, and help with other services.I would highly recommend them.

I went to get a eye exam and new glasses the ladys in the front and doctors were really nice and had great Customer care! They was a long wait time but for $350 for 2 pairs of glasses and eye exam but it is way better than paying $600 then my old eye doctor! I’ve been a customer of America’s Best in Georgia and now in Keizer, OR. Last week my family and I had a pleasant experience with the employees and doctors. Today (07/12/21) the ladies who work with the glasses were rude to my parents about placing the frames back to the cubbies. I get the why, but it’s not what you say is how you say things. Also the store should have signs 🪧 by the frames indicating what’s the proper way to return the frames without assuming customers know or coming out rough. One of the ladies took the frames out my mom’s hands and place them in the cubby without excusing herself. Hope this helps find a solution.

My experience personally was a good one! The doctor was very thorough and took his time to answer my questions. Once my contacts came in the lady whom taught me how to use them was amazing and very patient with me! I probably made a record as the patient who took the longest ever to get just one contact in. And then taking it out....All the staff were friendly, helpful and professional each time I have interacted with them whether it be at the clinic or over phone! Thanks for being awesome Americas Best staff in Keizer!!

My husband and I went in for eye exams and glasses. Great customer service from a young lady named Mariah. She was awesome. When check out came we paid out of pocket for my husband services forgetting he had vision coverage. So long story short we went back to see if we can process insurance instead and thankfully manager Brain took care of it quick and fast we saved $145 from our original amount of $488. So we were happy campers. Now thats how you get returning customers.

Very unhappy with Americas Best. I do not like having that temperature gun pointed at my forehead. I asked them all kindly to take our temperature on our left wrist. Not the receptionist, nor the manager, nor the doctors would budge on respecting my beliefs. They should change their name to Communisms Best.

I’m not sure if it’s because of COVID, but they told me my order would take 5 business days and it’s been about a month now, and I still haven’t received my order…now I have to get used to wearing contacts again whenever I get my order because my trial ones are only monthly, so I had to throw them out. Not happy.

One lady told me that my prescription was still good and to reorder my glasses for 2 pairs would be 69.95, I told he great let me pay you, so she transferred me to someone who could take my payment. Then I was told my prescription was bad and Id have to take a new eye test and my glasses for 2 pairs would cost 179.95$ so u wasted 25 mins of my time since I cant afford that and I was put on hold after getting the 69.95 quote for 15 minutes...

Aside from their business being on website that my insurance says they are in network and finding out through them that they are not, they were very helpful. Found out the frames that I prefer were discontinued. They spent 2 days calling around to try to find them for me to find out that they were also recalled. They went above and beyond to help me. Wish they were in network because I would use them exclusively.

The Doctor was so nice, very knowledgable. When I went out to pick my glasses, i didnt know what the procedure was, nobody even looked at me, i had to walk up to desk and ask, only one girl responded and then that was it! The gentleman that helped order the glasses was amazing and friendly. I will be back, i just think the front desk staff should know its not visiting time, you are there to help customers!!

Purchased my glasses about a year and five month ago. The plastic lenses have been the worst I have ever had since I started wearing glasses forty years ago. They are now cloudy, very unpleasant to wear. The frames are nothing to brag about either. Wont waste my money at Americas Best in the future. The only good thing I have to say, is that the exam determined that needed the attention of an eye doctor, turns out I have mild glaucoma.

Horrible!!!! I live in a smaller town, and I drove to this location for my appointment, and when i got there, I was told my 8 year old daughter wouldnt be able to be with me during my appointment, and would have to wait ALONE out in the waiting area, which I wouldnt do!! Total waist of MY time

I really liked the Dr and the assistants, that part of the visit was a 5 star rating. The actual 2 star rating is for the eye glass part. The people were nice but the deal for the glasses was not really accurate. The price of 69$ for 2 glasses was only the cheapest plastic frames. Then when I found 2 frames apparently 1 was from another section and in the wrong place. So for the 2 frames I finally found in was going to be over 100$ just for baseline. In order to get what Im used to getting my glasses would have been 300-500$. Also the frame area was a mess. They ask that when you handle frames to set them in containers to clean them due to covid. That would have been great but no one was cleaning them, so the entire area was a mess and they had very little to choose from. I think I will stick to getting my glasses at Costco. I can get scratch resistance and blue blocker for free. So even without any deals my complete glasses are cheaper there.

I was pleased with the quality cost of the frames and lenses and also received a coupon which made my purchase very affordable. The problem I encountered was that I had an appt. at 12:30 and ended up waiting for 30-45 minutes to be seen. Also watched at least 3 people go ahead of me. I finally asked if more than one person had a 12:30 appt. I was told no but since I had an outside Rx people who had been seen by their optometrist were given first priority. It was almost 2:00 by the time everything was completed.

On my last visit, I witnessed TWO front desk workers ask a hispanic customer several times if she “brought a translator with her” when it was obvious she could not understand English. After at least 10 times of asking her the same question in English (by this time the whole room could hear), the same workers then asked her the question in Spanish..... I was completely shocked at how these two workers did their best to humiliate this customer in front of everyone because she did not understand English, when they could have easily had the conversation in Spanish. Throughout their whole interaction, the lady’s at the front desk kept trying to change the conversation to English as if the Spanish speaking customer would all of a sudden understand them because “she needs a translator”. Why should anyone who speaks Spanish have to bring in a translator for a glasses return when the employee helping them also speaks Spanish?? I’ve gone to this Keizer location for 5+ years because, despite having more than one issue with the rude front desk employees, I have always loved the doctors. This, however, was the end of the line for me. I’ll be finding a new eye doctor from now on.

Don’t waste your time. I would ask for a refund but it’s not worth the time and energy plus they might not even answer the phone. The first time I was there 2 hours for eye exam that was under 10 mins. I wanted to get contact lenses and they didn’t have time to do a class so I had to schedule a follow up appointment.After waiting over a month for them to re open I call to schedule and appointment. I called the day before to confirm since I has driving 2 hours from out town. I get there and they said they can’t see me and that I was actually scheduled for an eye exam. Which why would I need an eye exam if I had recently had one there of all places. I’m sure if they would have bothered to check my record they would have seen that.Lastly I only ended up with a prescription for glasses .. which was wrong. So if you decide to go there good luck.

I was torn on how to rate my experience. Once I was checked in the eye doctor, and the woman helping me pick out my glasses were extremely friendly and helpful. However, the 2 women you have sitting at the front of your store, checking everyone in and giving the first impression were snotty, completely unfriendly and seemed to have very little idea of what they were doing, not to mention disorganized. Even after the positive experience with the other employees, I still left with a bad taste in my mouth because of who you have representing your business when new customers walk in. As a consumer and long time manager, I would urge you to reconsider who you have giving the public the first impression of your store.

The girls at the reception desk were very sharp, rude and insensitive. I have had a severe sudden hearing loss about a week prior. I called ahead and asked if I needed an appointment to choose an purchase eyeglasses explaining my hearing issue. I did not need a vision test as I had already had one and had my eyeglass prescription. I was assured due to covid they use to require appts but now they do not just come in as early as possible.My son and daughter-in-law came with me to help choose the glasses and help me with the hearing. After walking in and establishing we did not have an appointment and the needs for my hearing, we were met with “ you will have to leave” addressing my son and daughter-in-law. I was not aware of what was being said because of the mask I was not able to head her lips. My son said “ no problem I can leave” my daughter in law said”I have to be here to help with hearing. Had I known what the said we all would have left. I could feel the body language , ya know actions speak louder than words...as they continued addressing me and shoving a clipboard at me then my daughter-in-law told me I needed to fill out the paperwork. They were cold and abrupt and visibly irritated. I was not impressed.The technician who helped me with my purchase actually saved the experience for me. She was very helpful, kind and worked patiently with my daughter-in-law and myself. Her name is Mariah and thus was at the Keizer Station Village store in Keizer Oregon.

Absolutely terrible in every aspect. Everything takes forever except the actual exam. I wasnt even seen until about an hour after my appointment time. The prescription the Dr. prescribed for my glasses is worse than what I went in with. My sight with the contacts is worse than the glasses. So, the speedy exam was pointless. The place is not clean. The customer service is terrible. Not worth the time nor money! Unfortunately my insurance is only accepted there so I will definitely be dropping them and getting better insurance to go to a more trusted and sophisticated provider.

I made a first time appointment with them for my husband. The exam was no problem. Picking out frames wasnt a problem either. The problem is when we went in they swore up and down that it was only going to take a week to get the glasses, Ive been calling and each time they tell me they arent in yet. Officially going to be 2 whole weeks waiting for them & i know once i call back they are just going to tell me the same thing or blame it on covid for them being late. My patience is slowly declining the longer i wait. I wont give this place another chance till things are back to normal maybe then itll be a better experience.

All the staff here is really nice and are willing to help you out. Lety treated me really nicely. She gave me classes to put on my contact lenses and they were really helpful. The manager is amazing if you have any problem she will help you out.5/5 I recommend this place!

Do not go to the keizer station America’s best. Horrible experience. They gave me the wrong prescription twice, I didn’t even go back for them to fix them because I was so tired of there excuses. They didn’t even call me when my glasses were ready, I had to call them. They couldn’t even find my glasses when I went in to pick them up. The staff are so rude and We’re not professional at all. I will never be returning to this place ever again.

This is the worst place to go for either eyeglasses or contacts! The people dont know what theyre doing (I was told 4 different things from 4 different employees about my vision, none of which coincided) and they are now saying I didnt pay for everything and I have to pay more for the contacts they told me I had paid for. Not the only person I know that has had a terrible experience feom this place! Not sure how theyre still doing business with those results!!!!! NEVER SHOP HERE, EVER! PAY THE EXTRA ELSEWHERE, IT IS WORTH IT!!!

(Letti and patty jo?) the two receptionists were awful. Both of them have attitude problems and clearly need training in customer service. The blonde one who placed the order for glasses and contacts got messed up and acted like we were lying about picking them up. She forgot to place the order for contacts even though we had paid for them and didn’t apologize. Neither of them apologized. The angel lady who came out to help us was absolutely wonderful. She was kind and very beautiful inside and out. She apologized for what happened and placed the order for the contacts to come. I believe her name was Mariah but she was great.

I was pretty happy with my overall experience, however it would help new customers more if the staff were more available to help pick out frames rather than just telling them to browse the frames ourselves and hold onto them...i was unsure of what frames looked best and needed some guidance...not to mention trying to figure out the prices of frames and how your deal works. It was a little confusing having been the 1st time i have ever gotten glasses. And i was a little overwhelmed with the whole process...the staff was friendly and helpful to the customers as they came in...but i will be back when its time to replace my glasses in the future (now that i am a little more familiar with the process).

My mother came here to get her vision checked and was highly unsatisfied. They took a long time speaking to another person yet when she asked some questions it was rushed and not great customer service. My mother ended up picking up glasses that she didn’t understand the price of because they didn’t understand her and she does not speak Spanish very well so she felt disrespected by them! I spoke to the manager and she brushed it off claiming to not believe what we say because her employees would never do that and I understand she was defending them but NEVER did she apologize for how my mother felt. Lack of empathy much?

I needed new glasses and an eye exam. Americas Best was the most affordable option for uninsured people. If you buy glasses from them your first eye exam is free. I was able to get a good eye exam and 2 pairs of glasses with a 3 year warranty and scratch resistant lenses for $140. That is cheaper than one pair cost me last time. Go here with correct expectations. Some people may prefer the more boutique or local eye care business. Americas Best is good for people on a budget with no eye insurance. The staff was also very nice and helpful.

I understand that covid-19 has slowed the process for a lot of things and I’m trying to be patient with that but my appointment was at 11:30 and I watched the doctor take someone else in at that time. I wasn’t seen until 12:17. Then I was told to go look at glasses and wait to be called to either order frames or contacts. I wasn’t helped with that until 1:05. I didn’t end up leaving until 1:30. That just seems like a long time for this whole thing to take. The contacts are also super expensive even with my insurance benefits so I will likely try to take my prescription elsewhere.7/21 update: This place just keeps surprising me with disappointment. I called them like 10 times yesterday and never received an answer, it just kept ringing and ringing. I finally called my previous location in Springfield and they answered on the first ring. I wanted to order my contacts from them because they are so much more efficient but unfortunately the other location messed up my prescription. They told me it doesn’t have two different options on it when in fact the copy they gave me does. It’s been a huge delay in ordering contacts and I’m really irritated. I’m still waiting to hear back from them an entire day later. I called them today for an update and they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. I will say that Patti Jo was very helpful when I was able to finally speak with someone. She dealt with my issues and returned my phone call quickly.7/31 update: Went to pick up my contacts today and for whatever reason they only ordered me two boxes for my right eye... I’m not sure why they would do that when my prescription is for both left and right eyes. Blows my mind. Spent about half an hour working with Mariah on solving the issue. She was very gracious in her problem solving with me and offered me a discounted box for the left eye and a free box as well however I’m still incredibly disappointed in my service here compared to the Springfield and Hillsboro locations.

Very slow at this place, it takes on the average 2 hours to get an exam and order glasses. I’ve been going to this location for the past 6 years and it’s the same each time. What I do not like is the glasses they prescribe are way stronger than what I need, each time I get new prescribed glasses it takes up to 6 months of casually using them for my eyes to adjust before I can operate a motor vehicle with them. So if your going here to save money hang onto your old glasses you’ll need them.

I had great customer service during my visits here. The staff quickly reacted to my arrival and headed me in the right direction for assistance. The young lady that helped us contacted our insurance company to see how much our vision coverage was and then helped us find something that stayed close to that amount. I ended up getting two pair of progressive bifocals with duel prescriptions that also had transition lens and the protection plan.Despite all of those requirements my glasses were ready in just over a week! I was really pleased by their quick delivery time as it meant I could wear my new glasses to my grandmas birthday party. So imagine my horror when I put on my fancy new glasses the day of the party and they had a 2 to 3 mm scratch on a lens. Im not sure what happened but these guys were great when I brought the glasses back in. My protection plan covered the cost of a replacement lens (Yeah) and they returned the glasses to me so I could use them until the replacement lens arrived. Very happy with the customer service I received here.*Service Dog Handler NotificationWhile at Americas Best, which we were told does allow pets on the premises, we unexpectedly encountered a lady with a pet dog. My service dog, who had his vest on, walked in the door with me and this ladys dog started barking at us and trying to jump off her lap. The lady became flustered and mumbled something about my big dog, which was ignoring her and her dog, scaring her dog. She wasnt able to keep her dog quiet though and ended up leaving fairly soon after our arrival. My dog wasnt bothered by the encounter, but I wanted to let other teams know to be aware you may run into pets at Americas Best.

I’m going to start out with Moriah did an amazing job helping me out! She sort of saved the experience and recovered the bad taste I was left with after Letty gave me the run around saying the glasses and contacts I had ordered were not there and was rude about it. Even though I showed her the phone records of the call I received of them being ready for pickup. Then she finally looked up my charts and found that I HAD payed for both glasses and contacts. Patty jo is the gal that had put in my order in my previous visit. She tried to say that she ordered both but had only ordered my glasses and not the contacts. Moriah stepped in and started from square one. while the other two bickered amongst eachother and then left me abandoned. After about 3 minutes Moriah located my glasses and immediately started working with getting them fitted and found that my contacts were just not ordered. She placed the order and did what she could to make it right. I will ABSOLUTELY go back to be helped by Moriah.

I had went online an booked a appointment a week in advance. I was a little nervous due to seeing other people’s reviews, but I decided to give this place my own opinion. I Haven’t had my eyes checked for over 20 years, they were all very nice an helpful an great at letting me know what was going on an what things meant as I’ve had my eyes check since I was a kid, they were totally great down to every employee we encounter! It was also very nice my family was able to come back with me durning testing etc an let me know what I should get down etc. I would totally recommend this place an they have fantastic deals.

I decided to modify my original review. My initial complaint was the service from the front desk and on the phones. They did not call to let me know my glasses has been sitting there an entire week and when originally called was met with hostility and rudeness on the phone.I wanted to make an update on that. I dont blame the associates because they are ridiculously busy and they seem understaffed at all times. On top of that the phones never seem to stop ringing there so I can understand why they were not happy to have another person calling to check on their glasses.Now all that aside I am still keeping the review a low star rating because 3 days after picking up my glasses they are already getting stress cracks down both lenses and I have been extremely careful with them. I am hopeful they will fix this issue but I cant imagine going back there for my next pair of glasses. I have emailed management to see what they want to do but we will have to wait and see what kind of response I get.Update 4/11/19 : So I have been back and forth to this location 3 times this week and it is not always bad. I went in on 4/9 to have an adjustment done to my glasses and it was fairly quick and painless. Unfortunately the adjustment made the lenses start to crack. I went back in yesterday 4/10 to get this resolved and the manager was great about getting replacement lenses ordered.As I suspected the issues with this location really only come up during the crazy busy hours. When things are slowed down in the evening or on the off days it feels much more manageable.

It took over 2 hours to complete exam and order glasses. They book their appointments way to close together.Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately it got worse. Instead of our glasses being shipped as paid for, they have been sitting in the store for pick up. Now we will not receive our eyeglasses in a timely manner. Furthermore, the staff member I spoke with us was very unhelpful and did not offer any solution to the problem.

The Dr.s are so knowledgeable. He was able to get the correct prescription for me so quickly. The prices are just out of this world. I used to pay $300 for 1 pair of glasses and eye exam. At americas best they have so many frames to choose from that are so colorful and nice quality. To get 2 pairs is amazing. 2 for $70. I will NEVER go anywhere else!

Very horrible costumer service. The Doctors were great and friendly but the front desk people were very rude and had us waiting in the lobby for over 40 minutes because they misplaced the doctor’s paper. After we were finally able to get the order for the lenses going, we were told 2 weeks and that we would receive notification when they got to the store. After the third week I called to ask about the status of the order and the lady told me they were ready for pick up already. That was really disappointing to know the order had been ready.

This is ridiculous. I’ve been waiting on glasses for almost 2 months. I went in the last week of April and had a pleasant enough experience taking the eye exam and picking frames. Two weeks later I got the call to pick up my glasses. I went in and had them fitted and noticed one lens was just completely out of focus but it was an astigmatism correction and the gentleman fitting them said that, since this was my first pair of glasses, it would take some getting used to. I tried to wear the glasses for a week or so and they were completely disorienting and caused me some considerable headaches and I could not wear them. I went by the store again and explained what was happening and they had me retake the eye exam and when the optometrist looked at my chart he realized the problem immediately. The right lens was made at a completely different prescription than what was written down. They sent the glasses out again and two weeks later still no call. I called them and they said they would look into it. A few days later I get a call that they’re ready for pickup. I go into the store and wait about an hour and it’s just about closing time when finally I get fitted again and they didn’t even have a lens. The missing lens was not the side that needed to be remade. It was the good lens that was missing. They told me they would figure it out. (Whatever that means) a week later I get a call that my glasses are ready. I go to the store again for the 4th time and waited again about an hour and they finally hand me my glasses and it’s only one pair of the two I purchased. But, silver lining, they are the correct prescription. Its been about two weeks since the last time I went and still no second pair of glasses.

I was disappointed at my at my last visit. Everyone was fine, prescription was fine but this store has very little to choose from by way of frames. I tried looking before my appointment but was unable to thoroughly look before being called back. After my exam I spent over an hour and a half searching for frames going back and forth until I just chose for the sake of choosing. I went in to this location a couple weeks ago as I hadnt had an eye exam in years. Upon walking in, I was told that my insurance would cover the exam, but after my exam when we were finishing up, I was told my insurance probably wouldnt actually cover anything. I looked at frames for a while, but the cost of ordering frames and lens from the store was outrageously expensive so I told the lady helping me that I would wait and probably order online. She said she would write out my prescription so I could do so, and I left with a paper with my prescription on it. I did end up ordering glasses online, and when I received my glasses today, the prescription was most definitely incorrect. I called the store back hoping they could tell me where it was written wrong as I had ordered exactly what she had written on the paper. I was told that they were legally not allowed to tell me my information over the phone but if I read the numbers to them, they could tell me if they were correct or incorrect. I read the first number to the man on the phone and he told me that it was incorrect but could not tell me what it was suppose to be. In conclusion, I spent close to $200 on glasses for them to arrive and not work because the lady from this store wrote the wrong number on my prescription paper. Americas Best offered no help and said there was nothing they could do except rewrite my prescription correctly.

My experience with the staff was 5 stars , they were great ,very friendly and inviting, My experience with the waiting room was 1 star, there was not enough seating, several people standing around waiting and people where on top of people so it made it a little uncomfortable and felt like strangers where experiencing this appt with me, I would recommend americas best because of the staff but would give them heads up about the overcrowding, Also their prices are Amazing, I was able to get a exam and 2 pairs of prescription glasses for under $100 which is AMAZING.

I went in to switch from glasses to contacts got a attitude from the front desk after I was told to sit an wait. Then I take an exam my exams seems to go well then my contacts I can’t c with them I come in again for a check up they run the test but I still can’t see I’ve seen before well with my glasses but after there footing on contacts they don’t seem to work I’m not paying anything at all in the next check up if they keep getting my prescription wrong thinking bout a lawsuit if my vision worsens instead of curing it at America’s best .!

This was my first exposure to Americas best fast food approach to vision care and hopefully my last..my initial exam was over an hour late, and the store was closing by the time I was finished so I had to return next day to order my glasses. ... then another hour wait to consult with an optician and place my order. all the employees from reception on have the same attitude about them... stressed & exasperated, (but not rude) which is why I was able to give 2 stars.the store atmosphere is hectic and uncomfortable, and when I call by phone average hold time is 4-5 minutes. still havent received my order of 2 pair of glasses and free exam for 69.95 - by the time I added a few extras it cost me well over twice the advertised price (which is still fairly cheap)I have decided that courteous service in a relaxed and professional environment is worth twice the money I will have saved on my glasses at AB. (if they ever come in.)EDIT: Still have yet to receive my order, but did have a helpful phone conversation with Charlie today... she was friendly and professional, and provided me with my first glimmer of hope by tracking my order and bringing me up to date on delivery status. She is first one to give some straight answers and explanations, and I want her to know how much I appreciate that.

I have been coming here since 2007 I love this place. And they have the best price around. And my kids now go here as well. Everyone is nice and the doctor is super nice, especially with my kids (5 and 2 years old) I never had a problem with them. And my glasses turn out great every time. I give it four stars cuz its always busy so it takes forever. But I also dont mind waiting because I make sure to get our appointments on a day and time when we dont have any plans. So its not that big of a deal. 😊😊

They are only getting one star because as soon as you walk in the receptionist was the only person in that whole building that was nice. Everyone else was rude condescending. I did not explain anything to you they were just trying to sell you stuff that you did not need. I heard one of the consultants try to upsell five different people for no reason. I should’ve listened to a couple of my friends when they said to not go there. So hopefully other people will see this and realize it’s not worth the headache. You’ll be better off going to a local optometrist for your glasses

Bought a pair of glasses no problem, then they broke due a manufacturers defect and Americas Best offered to replace the frames for free. So far, no problem, defect was not their fault. It took a week for the new frames to arrive and when they did, I found that they had lost my lenses at some point. Now they have to order new lenses, so another week without my glasses. They promised a rush order and that they would call me when it was all ready to be picked up. Another week passes and I call out if curiosity to see if the lenses are there. They are. And have been for two days. Incompetence on all levels at this place. Will never go again.

Horribly managed business. Nobody greets anyone as they come in, there is no communication from any employees, the wait Is ridiculous, Ive been here over an hour and a half, an hour of that just waiting to get my glasses ordered. The staff seems rude and un helpful. Only good thing about this place is the actual doctors, he was knowledgeable and friendly .

I’ve never really had an issue with this store. My associate, Judith, was great. When I returned to pick them up some gal with an ice pack on her shoulder and her hands visibly shaking, assisted in fitting my new frames. What is an issue for me is she was bending the frames wrong and trying to bend the arms instead of using the heating tool. When I said something about how she was doing things, she said nothing, like she could have cared less. This gal should have stayed home.

I went to Americas best for the 1st time in Keizer station it took a really long time, They had told me it would be about an hour and it was about 2 and a 1/2 hours.When I was all done they told me it would take 2 weeks to get my glasses that was 18 days ago I called today to find out where my glasses are and they said they still didnt have them maybe in a couple days when they had time to check in the shipment that had just arrived they would find them.I think I would rather pay a little bit more and get them right away then having to wait 3 or more weeks

Be careful here, its like a cattle barn. The only thing they are concerned about, is selling products and their quota. They are so condescending, they will roll their eyes at you if you question them. Its all smoke and mirrors, so they can get your cash. Watch how much they charge your insurance as well. I will NEVER go back!

All the negative reviews summed up my experience as well. Great Dr. but poor customer service, no etiquette when addressing customers or handling mulitiple people and phone calls, and they always put you on hold when you call. Received my two pairs, one was broken by the employee adjusting it. No bid deal, things happen. Was told they would be ready within 3 days since they were only frames. Wow, what a great turn around. Not really, two weeks later I went in and they were still there broken. Stopped by a week later, still broken. Talked to the manager and she offered the display frames in a different color. Seriously? Like I really want display frames or in a different color at this point. A week later the manager is no longer an employee and I finally received my second pair.

My Daughter and I were in the area. There for my Nephews Graduation. I love getting my glasses there. This is my second time there. Everyone was very helpful. And they have so many frames to choose from. Even though we were from out of State they went out of their way to get us in the very next day. They also, sent our glasses UPS. The doctor was great. Knowing the importance of these reviews I was compelled to do so. My experience with this company and its staff was unpleasantly good. Unpleasant because of necessity to wearing glasses, bi-focal to boot. Good as the staff there, Charlie especially took the time to explain to me exactly how the progressive lens works and how it differs from other lenses. Not sure if I will as of yet stay with it, but I sure better about wearing them.

After paying almost $400 for one pair of glasses I expected better service. Not only were the wrong frames ordered and I had to wait for them to be replaced. When I went to pick them it took over 30 minutes sitting blind at the adjustment desk for 2 people to adjust my glasses. I am getting more disappointed by the day. My appointment and ordering went ok but who ever makes the lenses and assembles the glasses and quality checks glasses and lenses needs help. I was only able to pick up one pair of my glasses because the focal point was way off in one lens on one pair. Within 3 days the lens of the other pair I was able pick up fell out. It was then that I noticed they did not fit together properly. I am not sure if it is the frame or lens. Each time I have to return to the location, it wastes half a day of my time because I live over an hour away! I called to see if they knew when the lens for the first pair was coming in and was told it should be sooner, rather than later because of the lab it was sent to.

I had a good visit at this store , And I get you cant make everyone happy at the same rate , but all in all my 2 visits went as expected. All the people my daughter and I dealt with were very polite and helpful , the exams we both had went just fine and the glasses and contacts we purchased work great and were sold to us at a reasonable price. This location seems to stay pretty busy so dont plan on walking in and out in 30 mins or less , be reasonable and let the people take the time to do their jobs properly and I bet youll be happy with the results like we were.

I read the reviews, hoping to have a better experience but I did not :/The tech that took me back spoke for 20 (yes 20- I watched the clock) minutes about beating people up and how tough she was. After that I actually had a decent exam. HOWEVER... I now have a pretty severe eye infection in my right eye. I never get them but magically got one right after my exam.I went elsewhere for my glasses- and Americas best had the hardest time, and nastiest attitude about getting my script to my doctor. My doctor had little to no positive things to say about them. Luckily I have glasses, but I now have an infection for it.
