They came to my house put up a couple smokes alarms said that they had to do a wind test I told him not to cut the plastic on my windows just to pull it loose when they left I realize they had cut to are the plastic pieces on my windows and when they had got up in my attic to look around they had knocked loose my ceiling lighting. I did not say anything but they called me and told me that they could not come back because I had asked the Appliance Man that they sent out to look at my wearing not to come back on a 96 degree day to turn my heater on as it was way too expensive to try to call the house again. When he came out he predicted turn on my heater and I let him do that for approximately 30 minutes when he decided he didnt know what was wrong he said he was going to have to return I said that was fine but send somebody when it wasnt so hot. They called me and accused me of being rude to the service man, would not listen to my side of the story nor would they let me explain my side of the story. They informed me whether I talked to the service company or not they would not return. When I told them about my lighting and my plastic they basically called me a liar. I complain to the head person in Lincoln about the problem they sent out a third party. I spoke with the third-party I explained my situation he seemed very understanding but when I got the results back they said there was not coming back I still do not understand what I did and why they wont come back. When I tried to call the service company to straighten things out I called six times nobody would take my call. Im a single parent living on disability, I pay $700 a month shred I get no assistance. My utilities run at least $325 a month. This is the one and only program I qualify for and I think its very sad that they wont assist me for absolutely no reason.

I want to truly thank Community Action of Mid-nebraska in Kearney, especially the assistance from Larissia Anders. Though there was some legwork on my part, that doesnt compare to the assistance that she helped me with. My central air went down when it was starting to get hot and even hotter in my mobile home. I have many health problems and cannot go without air conditioning. I filled out the application and my Doctor filled out his portion as well. Larissia Anders helped to facilitate the process and continued doing so, even through all of our flooding and many people in need. Larissia went above and beyond on my case and I cannot thank her enough. I have never liked to ask for help in the past. I went to college and worked hard all of my life, but Community Action and Larissia Anders, were kind and came in my time of need and I cannot say enough good things about her and the company, as well as the contractors who bid on my project and were so very polite and installed my unit in less than 4 hours. I cannot explain how very thankful I am for all of you and the service you provided. God Bless you all and I rate you all an A plus!!! THANK YOU SO VERY KINDLY. You have no idea how much this will help me. I highly recommend all of you.
