It was easy to get in. The wait was reasonable. The record sent home was incomplete. I was given an injection, but it was not part of the record sent home. The medications were sent electronically to a local pharmacy, who never acknowledged, to me, that they had received them..

Went in for a pain visit last week the Tech Noemi was very gentle and super nice! As well as fast! The provider on staff was also very thorough will definitely be coming back again if needed

This urgent care is a little hidden gem. We always have a good experience. My daughter broke her arm and they were able to get us in right away. ALL the staff is nice. The lady at the front desk (wish I would have gotten her name) was so helpful and it was nice to see a friendly face when you are stressed out about your child in pain. The nurse and doctor were kind to my 10 year old and talked her through the whole procedure of getting an x-ray and a splint. I would recommend this clinic 100 percent. Thank you all for your care. I am happy to have a place to go in the neighborhood when we need urgent minor medical attention.

My husband I went there on 2 different days to get tested for Covid and we were very PLEASED with everyone that works there. The receptionist was EXCELLENT and very PATIENT, the nurses and doctors were AWESOME; very helpful and answered all of our questions and will certainly go there before we go to an ER room. We felt the doctors were very knowledgeable. Thank you for taking great care of us.

I had perhaps my shortest and least costly urgent care visit here. I avoid urgent cares because they are notorious for handing out antibiotics without thorough evaluation. Unfortunately, the doctor here was no different. I wont be upset though, unless they dont work! Overall, great experience and I will remember them for future needs.

I had the opportunity to visit the CareNow in Katy, TX. A nurse named Jada was working and she was very friendly and attentive. It was very busy but she managed to assist everyone with a smile and work in the back office. Great customer service Jada and keep up the good work. The wait time was not bad for a drug screen!

The online check-in was clunky and when I got to the clinic the administrator said my attempt to sign in online had “failed.” I came back an hour later and everything went smoothly and efficiently. I was admitted quickly, saw the nurse quickly and as quickly visited by the attending doctor. She was very good and decided that a special consultation was needed to assure a proper diagnosis. Less than 30 minutes later the diagnosis was confirmed and I was on my way.

This was a great experience for a URGENT CARE visit. Dr. DREW, nurse SHRONDA, and everyone else at this clinic made my visit go as smooth as possible.

The receptionist was unnecessarily rude and curt.I was taken back by her rudeness to me and my guest. The person that handled my service was nice and pleasant.

So let me start off by saying that I usually don’t like having to go to the doctor’s office/clinics because I tend to get nervous and forget everything I’m supposed to say or do, but when I walked in the man working the front desk (Ernest!) was SO nice and instantly put me at ease. He made jokes, helped me throughout the entire process when I felt like I was somehow doing everything wrong, and even complimented my weird shoes that have tassels on them. People like him are so important!! Thanks, Ernest, for making my experience 100x better :)

I’ve gone to this place for a number of years when it was Medspring and never had an issue. Now that his care now, I do not feel I get the resolution that I need when I go there. I was just told that I had a sinus infection and bronchitis but they will not give me any anabiotic’s. I even called back sicker and she still refuses she says all I need is steroids. Meanwhile I just went to my regular doctor, who quickly gave me antibiotics, so beware if you get Dr. Drew at this place. Don’t waste your co-pay. Something as simple as that should be easily treated at urgent care.

Dr. Asar was so outstanding and gave great care. She is very knowledgeable and pleasant to have dealt with. I would love to come be treated by her again if the need be and will be referring my family as well for any medical need.

Amazing urgent care couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They were able to get me in really quickly and get me seen and on my way so that I could get feeling better.

The people were very professional and courteous. The online registration system has multiple bugs/ glitches and issues that made registration more difficult than it would have been without the system issues. The continuous change in personnel at the desk does not provide for good hand-off of information or any continuity from one day to the next. The team readily answered questions and were accommodating to the patient’s needs.

This place is great! It been a long day for me since I was from out of state and my insurance is out of network. I’ve met Jada, PSR who has tried her best to to contact my insurance to make sure it covers. Then come a wonderful nurse Shronda, MA who turned my long and tired day into a wonderful day. Jumped through all the hoops of filling in the online documents. As soon as they were submitted I receive a phone call from them. The lady asked why I needed to come in and when I said Covid test she asked me how long I had been experiencing symptoms. And then proceeded to tell me that I should wait 3 days before getting tested because a test too soon would not be accurate. Really? And does your name have M.D. after it? And, by the way, what do you tell people who are asymptomatic? 🤔

CareNow Katy is easy to get to from SH99 & South Fry one block east of 99. It was a busy lobby but not overwhelmingly so. Reception was fast friendly and efficient. Even with 6 people in front of me I was seen within 30 minutes. For your urgent care or corporate testing facilities I highly recommend CareNow Katy.

I went to CareNow to get a COVID-19 test. It went very smoothly. I’ll get the results in 2 days. I asked for the “full blown” test, not the rapid test, just to be sure.

Literally the best Urgent Care I’ve been to. Fast and friendly environment. Being from out of state everyone in the office welcome me! Definitely recommend them.

My appointment went very well. There was very little waiting time. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. I feel good about the diagnosis and treatment.

Checking in was a breeze, the office called us when we could go in..and minimized our in office waiting time.. and Dr. Asar was the kindest doctor patient with my daughter, and me, answered all my questions.. did not prescribe medication overzealously.. Had many therapeutic recommendations... I wish she could be our family physician!

Went in for upper respiratory issue at 1:30pm, was told you must have an appointment, made appointment for 4pm, first available. Come back, fill out paperwork, they charge me $155 for an office visit. I go back to the exam room where I am told that the Dr wont see me without a covid test. So they want another $155 to do that. I did get my original money back, but that was a colossal waste of my time.

While I have visited this location in the past and have had positive results, my last visit was disastrous. I went in because of pain in my ear and face, most likely due to an ear infection. I noticed the symptoms Friday, but couldnt get into an ENT office over the weekend so decided to go to the Urgent Care in Katy. The nurse was professional, courteous, and informative. It was clear they were understaffed, but thats just the reality we live in at the moment. When I eventually saw the Doctor she didnt really listen and was dismissive. She began talking about natural homeopathic style cures, which is an immediate red flag and trying to dissuade me from seeking medical attention. At this point I was in so much pain I could barely mumble or think clearly or do much of anything except just feel pain.She provided me with a topical antibiotic ear drop, but by that time my ear had swollen so completely that drops wouldnt penetrate into my ear. She gave me nothing for the pain, nor anything for the swelling. She just complained that she couldnt see into my ear, great.. thanks. The problem became exponentially worse and by Monday morning I was weeping in pain, trying desperately to see any ENT doctor ASAP. When I finally saw an ENT doctor, they rightly said it was an ear infection, provided topical antibiotics that included anti-inflammatory medication and something to alleviate the pain.The natural cure nonsense is really alarming; I want medical attention backed by science and medical research.. not magic. On a side note, she also brought up her religion several times, which is both irrelevant to medical care and irrelevant to me. I wouldnt normally mention the religious aspect, because we can all agree to disagree, but between that and the natural homeopathic cures garbage.. this is a person who shouldnt be working in any medical profession whatsoever.

Got charged $185 for the rapid COVID test which is free at most places. On top, the caregivers inside (I didn’t have to meet a doctor), were pretty rude. Felt like they were forced to be there by someone. Would not recommend using the location.

This review is for CareNow Urgent Care at 6501 Fry Road. Unfortunately, this urgent care facility is extremely disorganized. It handles emergencies and routine tests, such as drug tests or Covid tests. The front desk employee harshly told people there was a 3 hour wait for emergencies, and other people were told to come back a different day. The front desk employee was more concerned with their hair than helping people. Do not go here if you can help it, they are rude and inefficient.

My son went in to have a covid test and was charge $75 excluding insurance without letting him know they charge for the test. He canceled and went to Zion emergency care to do the same test with no charge.Please let your patients know your charge for a Covid test.

The wait is long but people need to keep in mind that we are in a pandemic. There is no need to be rude to the staff. The ladies did an amazing job at handling my visit, I was patient and had no problems. I understood there was going to be a wait and I was prepared for that. I went in to get a rapid Covid 19 test to go back to work and I got what I needed.

I came in after a car accident and was treated so kind. Annie be Drew, Shronda Davis, and Ernest Mitchell was the staff that night. And although they informed me they were short staff I could not tell. I was in and out. They took great care of me and I would recommend this location any time! Thanks guys!

It was Quality Service Fast and Friendly.. The lady at the front desk greeted me with a smile she had a mask on but the look n her eyes was so warming I just knew it was a smile under the mask. She explained the process so well to me and just when I thought it couldnt get any better I get to the back to another warm heart nurse Jasmine she was just as nice as the nurse at the front desk and on top of all of this pandemic covid 19 they kept reminding to keep your distance the had sanitizer on hand and also they had the pens separated from use an unused I was so comfortable at this clinic.. its the Friendly faces and cleanliness for me

I would give zero star if there is an option. My husband is badly sick and we know that he picked up the germ from the kid, who is been sick for a week and on anti-biotics. He has been badly sneezing and coughing for three days and the symptoms are getting worse, not able to sleep at all. If over the counter medication is working, why do we pay so much money to see the doctor? We pay to look for some prescription help! Will never go back to this place again.

An extremely nice young man named Ernest took my information and led me to a wonderful young lady namedJasmine who took my vitals and swabbed me. Finally, the Dr. thoroughly examined me. Reassuring me as we waited results. They all caused my nerves to quickly settle. They were all so nice, timely, courteous, professional and attentive. Visited this location at 725 on a Tuesday. Hours say 8am to 8pm. Apparently you can choose to take your last patient at 715 without letting the public know. I wouldnt make turning away patients (especially a veteran the day before veterans day) a habit. Thanks for nothing.

I had to take my youngest daughter to get stitches last weekend, and they were awesome. We had Dr Drew and Nurse Davis taking care of us, and they did so well with my daughter. They were both very careful and understanding that she was scared. I have been going here for a few years when our regular doctor isn’t open, and every time has been great. The facility is very clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Jasmine did a great job getting us checked in quickly, too!!

I did a search for rapid covid testing and after reviewing several clinics nearby I found Care Now appeared to have the most convenient and fastest availability for testing. I did my registration for the visit on my phone and got in and out with my test results in 30 minutes. I also appreciate being treated respectfully like a normal patient during the visit. Thanks!

I feel very safe at this facility. And everyone is very spread out safely. My Covid test was very fast and I got the results in less than 15 minutes.

I will start with the positive, the front desk and the doctor were really nice. Now that is out of the way, the two nurses were as rude it gets. They treated patients like cattle going to slaughter house with no respect. The other thing, they charge $250 for Antigen test, which is not reliable and they don’t disclose it. If I knew it’s Antigen test, I wouldn’t do it. I won’t be going back unless I’m very disparate.

The place was clean and the people nice. The li e was long but not their fault. They moved through the testing as quickly as they could. I got my results in 30 min from when they took it.

Everyone was very nice! the app allowed meTo get in line before I was even at the clinic which was awesome. The only place I could find that would give me a covid test without symptoms, which was very convenient because they did it on very short notice. Everything was super fast and easy.

This was crazy almost 4 hours and then they tried to give me the incorrect discharge paperwork that was missing shots that I had gotten and told me I would have to come back tomorrow to get that and an itemized receipt. Then they started to get rude when I asked for a manager. But the entire time I was there they were cutting up in the back.

Tried to take my son for COVID testing about 6:30 pm, and they said they were done for the day and would resume at 8 am. I tried to check in online, but the website doesn’t work, tried to call at least 20 times and nobody answers the phone. Came in again at 9:45 am and they are “done for the day”, again. Would be nice if they would answer the phone so that you don’t waste your time.

I just visited this location. I got in quickly and check in was easy with minimal wait - thus the 2 stars versus 1. I wasn’t feeling well and requested a COVID test and a strep test. This was done and the doctor came in and told me both were negative and said it must be something else viral without even examining me. I asked about a sinus infection and she said I would have to have it for 2 weeks before prescribing antibiotics. She kept her 6 ft distance and didn’t look in my throat or check my ears or listen to my lungs or even ask me any questions about my symptoms. I felt like she didn’t care that I wasn’t feeling well and they were rushing to get me out of there. You got my $25 this time but not next time- won’t be back!

This place advertises as no appointment needed. But when you get there, guess what? You have to sign in online. And come back at a certain time. That’s an appointment. Two hours is soonest opening. So wasted trip. False advertising. One star.

I arrived for rapid covid 19 test and completed the paperwork. When I informed Kendra that the company would pay, she informed me that she did not have time to call them and that they could call her to pay the bill. Extremely rude and portrayed poor customer service skills.I will never come to this urgent care again. We are not inmates but customers. I certainly hope that i do not treat my patients like I was treated. This is a large city but small medical community and word travels fast.

The receptionist and doctor that I saw were very kind and they did a great job. That’s the only reason I’m giving two stars. However, the rest of my experience was not great. First of all, they need better COVID safety protocols. I was in a waiting room with about 20 other people that needed rapid testing. However, I was not there for COVID; I was there for something entirely different. After about 20 minutes I ended up waiting outside. All the other doctors I’ve been to have had people wait in their cars and then they’re called on the phone when it’s their turn. I was also there for four and a half hours — they should really have a testing part and then a regular part so the people who don’t have COVID and need to see a doctor can see one. I won’t be returning to this location if they don’t put better protocols in place.

No stars. Just awful ! Diagnosed my daughter with strep throat yet did not even do the test to confirm it, just charged a ton of money and my daughter is still sick. Value your health? Good! b/c they dont!

I came into this place after falling off my bike. First they didn’t find my insurance in the system, then they saw me in and just put water in my wound and got X-ray. They told me nothing was broken and sent me off back home.My wound got infected, I had to pull off the scab and disinfect myself a few days later. 3 weeks later my knee was still swollen so I went to my orthopedist, they decided to take another X-ray and found that my knee cap was fractured from the fall, and immediately put a brace to eliminate movement and ordered to use crutches to avoid putting weight on my knee while I got and MRI as I could have hurt my meniscus... this place is not good. I may have made my knee worse because of their lack of care. I will see what the MRI shows. But I wouldn’t come to this place. Really dangerous

I called this place today multiple times using a landline phone. The phone kept ringing but no one answered. I had to use both landline phone and cellphone to call at the same time and eventually someone pick it up. Talking for a little bit and she placed me on hold. I eventually hung up. I have the impression that they are very busy and therefore it’s difficult to schedule a time to come in for COVID test.

Excellent customer service from the start, Shinara was very sweet and gave us all the information we needed and Ernest did an exceptional job with us today, he was very sweet and very gentle and calm which was great since my mom was a little nervous coming in. Definitely will be going back if need be.

The woman proceeded to tell me that they are done doing tests for the day and to try to tomorrow or to seek testing elsewhere. That would have been great to know that I wouldn’t be seen hours ago. So that I could look elsewhere. No respect for people’s time.

My boyfriend, a Harris County Sheriffs deputy, went into this location to get a COVID19 test done. For some reason the person told him to come back in three days to get tested. She was extremely rude to him. Hes been miserable for the entire three days. I had a fever and went to a different facility (Excel Urgent care) and was seen the same evening, tested and results given. I do not understand why he was told to wait three days and I was seen the same day.Im also disappointed in CareNow, as I was a medical assistant and our patient care was always our priortiy. I WILL not reccemend this facility to anyone human or animal.I will continue to use Excel Urgent Care for all my after hours care.

I arrived right at 8:00am and was checked in promptly.The gentleman at the reception desk, the nurse’s assistant and the Nurse Practitioner were all very friendly and courteous. I was in and out in less than an hour. Very clean, professional atmosphere. I will definitely come back for any urgent care need. Thank you!
