Office staff arent nice. Front receptionist doesnt know how to behave and not professional. They cancel appointment without notify. After i come they say your appointment canceled but they just confirmed when I called day before the appointment. Horrible experience here not happy at all.

Maybe the administrative staff and some of the doctors are very attentive, but the owner does not deserve so much dedication. I was taken out of that health center by the owner because when I saw him all over the clinic without a mask I dared to ask him the reasons why he did not use it, to which he answered: because I am the owner; to which I replied very well, but that place is a health center and we all deserve respect for it. The gentleman was displeased and told me to leave his clinic and I gladly left, but not before I was refunded the money I had previously paid. I would not recommend this center for anything and it is enough to have had that experience of arrogance.I have no choice but to give it one star because if I dont it wont let me post this review. But for me it is zero star.

If I could give them a negative star rating I would. The front desk receptionists are unprofessional and should not be working in the front line. Horrible experience, do not give these people business. The doctor needs to rehire his staff and maybe the ratings will get better.

We were impressed with the professionalism that my mom’s care was handle. I will highly recommend this practice.All staff members that we encounter were very courteous.They take care off everything. Very convenient with labs, x-rays, etc all in one place.

After receiving 2 strong car accidents, I visited two different Physical Therapy facilities which did not help alleviate my pain and inflammation that I had in my body, thank God I found PHYSICIANS OF KATY (PT department) where I was treated by the Physical Therapists VENKY and his excellent assistants FATIMA and PAOLA. I received the best treatment until I got my relief and healing. God bless you.

My experience was awesome my appointment was on 2:30 was able to check in and seen immediately fill out my paperwork I was see by doctor Chelsea she was awesome good listener and passionate about her work I was comfortable while I was in her care I am pleased with this referral.

I love Chelsea, she is a wonderful physician but this staff is completely incompetent. It is impossible to reach anyone at the front desk and if by chance you do reach someone, you are left on hold. They take messages when you try to schedule an appointment but those messages are never returned. My daughter was going to physical therapy and they called to constantly cancel her appointments but when I called to reschedule, I could only leave a message (with no callback). I called at 8:09 this morning to see if there was any way I could be seen later today and was told I would receive a call back. I called in at 4:07 pm to see why no one called me back and was left on hold for 13 minutes. I have complained about this for over a year but nothing is ever resolved and I have yet to speak to someone in charge. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere that will take you seriously and cares about helping you.

The worse experience I ever had with a doctor. The service is terrible. First, when I request my appointment with the doctor Hector Ubaldo I never had a remind confirmation appointment from his office, I had to call to confirm my date and time. Second, when I was in my appointment the doctor Ubaldo didn’t say hello, good afternoon or something similar, he start to talk in a personal call on his cell phone and plus was all the time on the computer, never ask why was the reason of my visit, I had to provide all the information and call his attention for check my problem. And third, he order a bunch of lab test and is passing one month and I am not get back the result yet, I ve call them twice and always they say than the nurse is going to call me back with my result and that until now is not happens yet. TERRIBLE SERVICE, and THE WORSE CARE.

Honestly it shouldnt even be a 2.I came because I have been having problems and it is my DOCTORS office.However I didnt get any answers. According to Chelsea my throat looked really red. So I got checked for strep and flue I didnt feel sick but my voice comes and goes, so I was concerned about it. Also have been having trouble breathing, so she thought it was necessary to do an xray and plomary test. Havent had a period in 3 months, so had to give urine sample, and apparently good to go. As I checked out I asked what about my voice why is it going and coming? They take me to a room. Chelsea walks in. I HAD to address the issue. I told her look I had allergy test last time staff gives results and send me home. You never came back to address what was wrong. What I need to do. And today I still have concern about my voice. I did ALL these test and still dont know whats wrong. She explained how she wasnt done with me. How shes was going to break and has been waiting on me. So we start talking about how I came in with a lot of problems idk where it went sour, but it went SOUR. Sour to the point she told me I have to trust her or find a new provider. How can I trust someone who walks in for 5 to 10 min just to say every test they will do and dismiss me. Dosent try to check back on me. She claims she wasnt done. But I know it is B.S because last time they said she said she would call to explain my test results of allergy and NEVER happened. To this day I dont know what the numbers mean. It is sad because this clinic is very near by me, and I really liked her the first couple of time. But I have to admit Im really not happy anymore with this office. I hate coming to the doctors and not getting answers to anything. Period well Im not pregnant. Well Im no doctor but I knew that already. Hard time breathing well I dont know why I have it. But let me just say. Before I left this clinic I was alright. When I left this clinic I felt like I was going black out! I even felt a pain in the left part of my chest. I think it was do to how angry I left. I couldnt get one deep breath in.Why is my throat so damn red who knows.Why am I coming if I get 0 answers! Smfh

I was with them for 2 years, only time I saw Dr Ubaldo he was disrespectful with me. Always had problems with the insurance claims and had to pay more at the end.Did X-rays never had a doctor explaining me the results. I had to call them and ask them if they had my results. Had an allergy test, never had a doctor talking to me about my results.Staff always in a bad moodWaiting time like an hour at least

Worst place ever starting the front desk, staff and doctor. Rudest front staff I’ve ever met. You can hear ongoing conversation with the manager cursing in Spanish a lot. Not to mention over heard conversation from his own practice “do everything on the patient, is covered let the insurance over Pay the doctor” staff laughing openly. Shooked. over charging the insurances doing unnecessary stuff.

I love doctor Chelsea. But the staff are incompetent as heck. I have never in my life been put on hold everytime I call for no less than 10 mins. I have an appointment today I came at the time. It’s now an hour past my appointment time and watching everyone else be called back that literally just walked in. They had me handle my insurance. Every other doctor office calls them and verifies. Do yourself a favor and verify your own insurance very time you come or you will be stuck waiting. I have physical therapy. Called to reschedule my appointment, waited on hold for 30 mins and then never received a call back. That was 3 weeks ago.

Dr. Ubaldo is incredible! As soon as you step in his staff is so accommodating and so welcoming. My appointment was at 2:30 so I arrived a little earlier to fill out paperwork. Right at the time of my appointment I was called in, I am so used to going to offices where you have to wait. I am surprised with this practice!He will listen to all your concerns and really cares about your health. Nurses And MAs are very helpful in all aspects.I Wish I could give Physicians of Katy a 10 star review.

I Love Dr. Ubaldo I have been a patient for the last 2 years no complains. I wish they also open on all Saturdays. Mrs. Ruth the office manager is awesome ! Very professional and attentive. Only one inconvenience and she fix it promptly, Thank You Ruth.Dr. Ubaldo knows what he is doing also I took my son and his diagnosis was correct before I took him to a specialist. My only little mention it has to be the front desk ladies not always very friendly and attentive when you go. But that can be fix!

Reading through all of the poor reviews makes me sad, Ive never had anything but wonderful customer service from Dr. Ubaldo, P.A. Bohac and the front staff. Primarily, I see P.A. Bohac, and she remembers me when I come in. Ive been coming here since 2016, and theyve helped me manage sciatica, high blood pressure, weight loss, hearing loss in my right ear, hormone issues, thyroid nodules, etc. Additionally, when I did have a billing issue that required correction, the office manager Ruth sat with me for over an hour and made phone calls on my behalf to the labs billing company to get it corrected. They have an in house person for blood draws, in house physical therapy, in house sleep clinic, ear clinic, and more. There are also willing to see patients on Saturdays, and Ive never had to wait more than 30 minutes to actually see my provider. The front desk and nursing staff have always been very helpful with referrals and prescription issues. I feel comfortable in their care, even though Ive moved since I started coming here, and theyre 30 minutes in the opposite direction of where I work and live. Five stars to the team here at Physicians of Katy.

Its very unfortunate when you find a PCP that you are comfortable with, but the staff is substandard. 5 years, different office team members, but the same incompetence. This is concerning and makes you wonder who is training the staff and what the hiring process is to consistantly keep onboarding the same types of staff. Every process or request takes weeks to complete completely .

I have not been in the office and don’t intend to after my first phone call to set up an appointment for a medical clearance/physical exam. The staff proceeded to tell me they don’t do these since we need shots (which isn’t even a part the clearance form). I explained that we only need a physical exam, but continued to be told that they don’t give the shots there. When I asked for what my options were , I was referred to go to a pharmacy. I questioned this response as pharmacies don’t have physicians who can do a physical exam. She just kept repeating that the pharmacy can give shots. I was baffled at the entire interaction and knew I could not feel confident in the competency of this office. Horrible customer experience! I immediately switched my provider after this interaction. It’s a shame because it seems like many people actually like the doctor.

I have been a patient here for almost 3 years, and the only reason Ive suffered the incredible incompetence that the staff at this office has demonstrated time and time again is because they are one of the few offices that accept the insurance I used to have. I have little to no complaint about the doctoral staff, but the only other consistent staff member is Sam, who is literally the only one who seems to have any idea what is going on.If I dont speak to him, I literally have to call upwards of 3 times to accomplish anything. That is not the exaggeration of a disgruntled customer, that is an actual average taken from the 60 plus phone calls Ive had to make.You can spot a bad practice in a few ways, but one of the most reliable ways is to look at employee turnover/time. I have to go every month, and it should be shocking that Ive almost never seen the same set of faces working the office.Every time I hear the words, well call you back, I groan audibly because their call return rate is sub-10%.Still not convinced that this is the worst possible place to take your business or your health? I have to urinate in a cup every 2 months. They literally have cups and a sharpie in the bathroom for you to write your name on, pee in, and place in a 2 sided cupboard. Can you say disgusting? I even complained about it to the PA and she said oh that is disgusting I didnt even think of that, Ill let someone know about it. Yeah, no surprise when 2 months later nothing has changed. Even worse is I was so sure that it would be the same that I brought my own sharpie. EVEN THEN WHEN I OPENED THE CUPBOARD TO DEPOSIT THE URINE THERE WERE 2 OTHER UNCOVERED SAMPLES, ONE OF WHICH HAD TIPPED OVER, LITERALLY SPILLING SOMEONES PISS ALL OVER THE CUPBOARD.Would give 0 stars if I could, honestly.UPDATE:Since the writing of this review initially, the office has changed the way they manage the urine samples. So I went from 1 to 2 stars.Additionally, one member of the staff, Sam, actually seems to know what is going on, and consistently provides the level of service I would expect in a professional environment. 2 to 3 stars.

Dr. Ubaldo is amazing! He takes his time with you in the room, always figures out exactly what is wrong, and gives a treatment that works! When he was booked up, I saw his nurse practitioner Chelsea and I was impressed with her knowledge and professionalism. Clean facility and friendly staff. Also, wait times are never too long! Overall, I can say Im a very satisfied patient who will continue to choose Physicians of Katy as my primary care office!

I have been seeing Jolly Abraham, PA-C and upon diagnoses from other doctors have found that everything she has told me has been incorrect. I do not dislike her but she needs a considerable amount of further education and training before she can be up to the task of providing quality medical care. Please people do not accept diagnoses from a PA-C unless they are verified by an MD.

When I went in for my visit the NP walks in and tells me she cant help me with the reason I was coming to see the doctor. Which is understandable the doctor was great and I have no complaints about her.However, I was told by multiple people (including the nurse practitioner I saw) to bring my credit card in to get a refund for my appointment and when I show up apparently they cant give me a refund (because it wasnt in the same day). Then when I told her that I work with credit cards and I knew that wasnt true she told me the manager and doctor werent in the office to authorize it. Honestly to say the least I had a pretty frustrating visit.

I wish there was an option for 10 stars!Dr. Ubaldo has been my Primary Care Physician for 15 years. He is very personable and is a straight shooter. He puts his patients health over profits.His staff has been friendly and very helpful from the very first time I visited.There is a reason his patients drive from all over the metro Houston area to see him. I only went 3 times and that was enough. One of the office staff acted as if I was bothering her when I tried to discuss something with her. Later when I received my claim back from my insurance company for a physical I had just done with them that was suppose to be taken care of by my insurance ended up costing me an office visit. When I called my insurance company to ask why they said they had given me a reason the doctors office had said which was not true. I called the doctors office and they gave me a different reason saying it was because of saying yes to prescription refills. What upset me so much was the Dr. (not Ubaldo) asked me if I needed any refills, I never brought it up or had any intention to. I tried to call and get it straightened out with Dr. Ubaldos billing department but they told me I should have said I would call if I needed them. I told them being a new patient I didnt know this was something I should have said and the doctor should have never asked me that question during a physical. To me that was double dipping. I still havent been called by the doctor who examined due to some test results, Ill be changing my doctor!

I love Hector-I loved Dr Jolly. What I dont love is waiting over two months for the office staff to return money owed to me because of a mistake made by the lady who checked me in. I am on my 22nd message left with either the receptionist or the office manager Maureen. I had-yes HAD been going to Hector for over 20 years. Its so so sad that he is losing a patient over $150.00 owed. They have been paid by both me and then after realizing their mistake submitted my claim to insurance and got money there too!! Ill miss you Hector!

I have been a patient of Dr. Ubaldo since 2008. I like Dr. Ubaldo very much. I like his style of speaking to the patient and he takes time to get to know the patient (he loves the New York Jets NFL team). I have not given his office 5 stars due to many complaints I have about there internal office staff. I have personally visited with Dr. Ubaldo about this and have also documented my bad office experiences from staff members in writing (mostly lack of sending out medical information to other doctors when requested, lack of follow up by nurse on lab tests, lost prescriptions that pharmacy never receives resulting in pharmacist having to call them [I get hard copies prescription printed out now and take to pharmacist] and portal information not updated in a timely fashion. In addition I tried to talk to someone after hours (10/27/19-Sunday) and was forwarded to an extension for after hours physician. The voice mail said to leave name and number and physician on call would return call. Then I got the message that mail box was full; could not take anymore messages and disconnected me!. Either this is planned or they havent checked their messages. In either case, this is NUTS. Finally, there appears to be a fairly large turnover of employees which breaks down all continuity. Dr. Ubaldo has an office manager who I am convinced is working hard to improve the internals in this office. I have always found her open to discussing complaints. They get 5 stars for getting you in when a sudden unexpected illness arises out of nowhere. I really appreciate that. In place of Dr. Ubaldo, I see NP Chelsea Bohac. She is fantastic. I find her extremely knowledgeable (seems to me to know as much as a Doctor) and actively invites participation of the patient in the analysis of the issue. She seems to genuinely care which speeds up the get well process.

When I moved to Katy a few years ago, I was referred to Dr Ubaldo. I like him because he never makes me feel rushed. From the time I walk in till the time I leave, every one on his staff has been polite, respectful and helpful. At my age, I have more than a few ailments, he is up to date on medications, his assistants prepare and update my records, when he comes in the exam room, he asks questions and listens to my answers; I like the fact that if blood work is needed, I just walk down the hall; Margaret calls me with the results. Lester, Robert and the ladies work in harmony. I have referred Dr. Ubaldo and will continue.

If you go to the doctor it is because you need an accurate diagnosis and successful treatment. I can recommend the doctor and his team because they do everything necessary to find the cause of the disease. An the Dr Ubaldo is very acertive in his treatment. Highly recommended!

Whats up with all the bad reviews?? People now days are soooo picky and cant be satisfied at all.. Let me tell you about my experiences here. I was seeing Dr. ubaldo for a few years ,then I moved out of state for work , but just moved back. So of course when back to see him. Everyone there is so friendly. Waiting area is so nice, clean and spacious. I like how he takes his time and listens to your problems. I certainly have and will continue to recommend to my friends and family. You should check them out too ! :)

The doctors are nice and all, but if you need to get a hold of someone on the phone because, after falling down a flight of stairs, you might need some meds they drag their feet.When they finally sent in a script it was such an uncommon dosage that nearly no one had it and when I did find it, my insurance wouldnt cover it and now Im waiting for them to call back...again...

I got a feeling that all they do is making money. They tried to sell me many tests, I was smart enough to say no. I asked them to check my blood sugar, and they took 3 test-tubes of my blood and checked it for another different stuff I didnt asked to! So its a horrible place, at least the doctor I was seeing, it was a woman, dont remember her name.

I’ve been going to Dr Ubaldo’s office for 2 years and they are amazing!! I’ve had many issues ranging from a brain tumor to gallbladder problems and Chelsea who is the pa is amazing and friendly and really cares about the patients. I’ve also had to get many referrals for my insurance to doctors bc of a brain tumor and gallbladder surgery and Aida, Victoria, and Maria who work at the receptionist and everyone is amazing! They found me a 5 star surgeon and are so caring. The whole team at physicians of Katy is great!! I’ve done a heart ultrasound, 3 day ekg, bloodwork, and even X-ray there!! They do everything in one office. I highly recommend going there!! They are great!!❤️😊

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! He is rude and careless of your time. I recently had a appointment with him, in which I waited an hour in the patient room (I do not know how this can be when his practice is literally 4 rooms out of the whole building). After an hour of waiting, he did not examine me physically..he just said what he thought it was. Then, in the middle of discussing my illness, he got a text message and decided that was more important than my time and the discussion and immediately stopped talking to me so he could reply to his text! After replying he nonchalantly giggled about the text and returned back to addressing me about my illness. Then, when walking out, I noticed why I had been sitting there for an hour, he was skipping me and going to other patients because there was a guy that was called in after me, was checking out at the desk. Every time I have seen him he has been rude and arrogant. I have been a patient for a while and has watched his practice reduce over the years, NOW I KNOW WHY!!

Have been a patient for several years and have seen several staff changes It is not uncommon to be in the office for 2 plus hours. The staff does not know any patient care services. For results lab or imaging service I have had to go get my results and take them to the office so the Dr or Nurse practitioner to review or take the patient orders to the place to schedule the appointment just to find out that they forgot something, when you call them (and stay on hold for 10 min s or longer) they say bring in the script and well fix it. When I asked if they could fax in in I heard them say we only do that if the patient ask for it.I am at a brick wall I hate changing PCMs but I am being forced to do just that.

At 2 p.m. so I went into my appointment like I was supposed to to come to find out the lady scheduled it for Monday when I physically asked for Friday 1-5 2018 so the lady said Im so sorry can you just come on Monday I have to speak to the manager she stated the manager was in a meeting so I asked for the managers number she asked me just to call the office and ask for the manager ask for the managers name as well she just stated call for the manager no name was reported to me I recommend anybody that needs an appointment there to please confirm before going

TheYesterday I went with severe pain and Dr. Sheisa treated me, she sent me to place an injection, thank God I was relieved, but she sent me to make a plate right there and they told me that I had to wait they were going to lunch, I waited almost the hour A feeling very bad, when I finally did the film I never saw a doctor again. Instead, look for a nurse and she told me that the doctor was sending me to say that I could go now. Well, I left without knowing what I could have or anything and he did not give me medicine for the house even knowing that I have had this pain for a week. Then I got a text message that I needed physical therapy.I did not like this treatment because I went to see them looking for a diagnosis and relief and they did not help me, now I must wait until Monday to return 😩

Doctor uvaldo is a very good doctor. But the staff in front of him are of no use. If they call they leave you waiting for a long time, and if they dont hang up on you and not to mention Claudia the nurse, you have to fight there so she can talk to you. He personally returned my call after 10 days. Without lying. Already when I had gotten another specialist myself. Claudia always has an excuse. Something that my husband needed supposedly that he was fighting with the insurance to get it approved and I call the insurance and they dont have any request from the doctor. Claudia is useless. We are definitely looking for another doctor.

Extremely rude staff. I have tried to request a consultation with the Dr and they always leave me waiting, I do not understand the reason. When I say that I am from the insurance, they only tell me to wait a moment on the Line and they spend the call time or hang up.

Disappointing the work of these people to assist you, irresponsible and informal.I have an allergic reaction which I have not medicated waiting for me to do the corresponding tests to know how to improve and they told me that I had an appointment for a date and call 4 times so they could attend me and checking (Leaving me waiting until the call ended) Only at the end they told me that they could not help me for another week and I lost my work day and I still do not see what they expect to get worse? I do not recommend them at all
