Dr. Jurgensmeier is the best doctor I have ever had in my entire life. I really dont want to let people know how great he is because then everyone will want to use him and I will never be able to get an appointment, but he is the first doctor in decades that has not told me to lose weight. Theres so much more I could say, but again, if I say too much everyone will be switching to him and I am just not that willing to share......

Dr. Berry is very unprofessional and rude. He diagnosed me based on vital signs only. He never looked at my ears even though I had an pain in both ears. He was in the room for less than one minute. The only good thing about him was that you could get in quickly. Now I know why.

I walked into the building today for an employment screening, however this clinic is the first thing that you see when you come in. I sat for a couple of minutes while the people at the front counter chatted amongst themselves. One person noticed me and I told them I was there for a urine test. The lady proceeded to tell me to leave there and take a left in a very rude tone. I went to go exit the building, and she rudely redirected me stating not to leave the entire building and to go upstairs snapping the entire time, all while I did not know there was a mask mandate going on in this particular place. They did not even think to offer me one. I went upstairs unmasked and irritated by the unneeded tone in the front desks voice. Very unsafe and unprofessional.

My husband went to this clinic to see Dr. Reine and was met with a rude, inhospitable, completely inappropriate attitude. He did not listen to my husband’s concerns, questions, and he left even more frustrated and anxious. Do not go to this clinic. Absolutely unprofessional.

Worst experience ever! When I called to make my appointment, I explained I am a new patient and will need a new patient first visit. I asked for the price it would be, as I have limited funds and no insurance. I was told XYZ was my price, unless I got tests done. I didnt need tests done so I brought XYZ. Dr. Reine was horrible! I felt rushed, I had less than 10 minutes to explain my medical history, and I just felt like there was no personalization. Im just some numbers on a paper. Then when I went to leave they gave me a price $50 more than XYZ! I said no, that I was told otherwise. The billing lady explains to me, oh, thats for a level 3 visit, you had a level 4. I asked what made it a level 4 visit, and she said the doctor put in on his end that he decided it would be a level 4 as a more difficult appointment. No tests or anything, just less than 10 minutes of hi, this is me and my small history, and this is the prescriptions I take. I will NEVER be back here again.

Been going to Gashlasnd Mertas (beginning prior to Meritas taking over) since early 70s. Always a positive experience. Several docs over the years as some retire.

UPDATE: I have now been for my appointment and I was very pleased. It is clean, everyone was very helpful and I didn’t have to wait long to be called back.So I was referred to a physician in this practice but after reading the reviews I was nervous about calling. I talked with a scheduler about the process of establishing a new PCP and she was fabulous. Took the time to answer all my questions, how many doctors, hours they were open, the fact that they have a lab and basic x-ray services at the facility, even which electronic health record they use. I haven’t been in yet but I anticipate it will be a good experience.

I want to thank Dr. Boyce for going above and beyond for me. I couldnt afford my Jardances medicine. He came back with enough medicine to hold me until January 2021. Thank you Dr. Boyce I feel so much better now... I love Merediths health office staff and doctors..

The Doctors here are great.

I just got to this facility and wasn’t there five minutes. I have a really bad pilonidal cyst that needs to be looked at and the lady was so rude. First, she tried to wave up some man who came in after me, which I did not allow. When I asked to be seen, she said she wasn’t taking any one for urgent care until 3pm. If I need an appointment to urgently be seen, that kind of defeats the purpose of having an urgent care. Second, I asked, “well, is there anywhere I can go that will help me sooner” immediately, she said no. Didn’t even process the question. It was the blonde old bat with glasses second chair from the left, walking into the front desk area at about 12:45pm. Never again will I be returning. I’d give zero stars if I could and that would still be considered a generous rating.

The care i receive at Gashland Clinic (it will always be Gashland Clinic),for over 25 years has consistently been prompted, professional and thorough.When my doctor neared retirement i was assigned to Dr. Jurgensmeier.My health care went from A care to A+Andrew, thank you for treating me as if i am the only patient you have for the rest of the day. I appreciate the way you listen and give wise, precise and personalized medical advice.

Saw dr Barry in urgent care and will never go back. He’s to total a hole.

I have been going to the Gashland Clinic for about 10 years. The staff is always kind and caring. The Doctors are well informed and empathetic. When my previous Dr. retired, I was assigned to Dr. Ballard. He is the best ever. Where do they find these great people? Keep up the good work.

I went to get a covid test done on a Friday after being told I would have my results in 24 hours or by Monday witch I was good with since it was a weekend. I waited till 2:30pm Monday and no call so I called had to leave a massage for Dr. McCormicks nurse so I did she called back said she didn’t have them yet she would have to talk to the dr. Then at 4:30pm I called back because I have heard nothing from them and they tell me I was to get my results on Tuesday in the mean time I’m calling into work not knowing anything. So here it is Tuesday at 1:00pm and I still have not got my results. What happen to 24 hours. This place never calls you about any test results you always have to call them. I went a hole 4 weeks waiting on results once because I wanted to see if they ever would call with them and nothing so I called after 4 weeks. In search of a new place to see a dr with better care for there patients.

My husband and I went today for a Shingles shot. The clinic had a young kid taking temps outside the entryway but no screening questions. When we got called up to the counter, they had plexiglas but our receptionist was the only one without a mask. Maybe she had medical reasons? There was a lady next to us, not 6 ft away, that came in for urgent care. She listed every symptom of COVID with the exception of a fever. Why was this woman allowed in? The counters were not wiped down after anyone left. This is concerning. In the waiting room there was no distance between chairs as in other clinics. Granted, it was my choice to go but I think there should be more of a screening procedure, not every receptionist should be available (maybe every other) and some of those chairs in the waiting room should have been removed to allow for social distancing. I have been a patient there for all of my adult life and I am 51 yrs old. I was highly disappointed in their procedures as I have been to other doctors offices and those precautions were in place.

I am so grateful for the Meritas Health team especially Dr. Luerdings team. I have to give props to a nurse of his named Jillian Summers. She has taken care of me for several years and I love her!! She truly is the best. The care that she gives is great!

I have been going here for 10+ years and have always had a thought in the back of my mind I was NOT getting the best care. I recently confirmed this suspicion when I visited the walk-in clinic where I work. The nurse practitioners greeted me with a smile, treated as a person and not as patient #1234, I was asked not just about the issues I was experiencing, but also about any other potential issues and lifestyle choices. I truly felt like they were getting to know me, so they could ensure to put me on the correct path to not only diagnose the blahs I was there for that day, but to ensure I did not need a return visit and was on a path to a better healthier lifestyle.My Meritas Health Gashland experiences over the past decade have been no where near this level of service. The doctor I see has no bedside manner, spends as little time with you as he can and does not seem interested in hearing about or listening to your health concerns. Furthermore, the nurses here are just horribly rude and go out of their way to be as unhelpful as possible, especially if you need to call and speak to one of them to get advice. I literally had one tell me it was my responsibility to determine whether to continue or discontinue taking a medication when I called seeking the doctors advice. Also, my doctor takes time away without any notification to patients so we could plan around this basically leaving his patients out to dry especially if you have a condition actively being treated. Their philosophy is you can come in and see a new doctor, get diagnosed again and pay for another office visit.Anyway, I have finally realized this place is not in the business of providing top notch healthcare and I will be seeking a new PCP immediately.Adios!

Ive tried a couple of places to find a new PCP. This place is my favorite so far. Dr. Ballard was kind and helpful. The staff was friendly and wait wasnt bad. I understand why so many of my friends like this clinic.

Coming today for an appt and saw 11 people at the front desks, only 1 with mask at the far left corner taking patient.The other ones are very close together chatting, no sense of social distancing, no masks. Do they think they are immune to COVID? Bad example and poor practice to patients and families :)) No hand sanitizer around. Where is the sense of safety?Gave 2 stars as they did check temperature of people coming in. But really need staff education!!

I saw Dr. Boyce today for the first time. He was very friendly and personable. His nurse Jill is amazing! She was the most compassionate nurse I’ve ever met. She was kind enough to get me some water to help my cough.

Have never waited very long in waiting room. People are pleasant.

Cant get to a scheduling person to even get an appointment. they just hang up the phone.

The nurse and doctor I saw today were really nice. I had an appointment for 4:20 and I was put of there by, 4:45. The ladies in the front were very nice and went back and forth for me a few times . Ill definitely be back.

Have been going here for 20 yrs, Excellent Drs and staff, wouldnt be alive today without them! Very caring, I see Dr.Rains, she and her nurses are s truly awesome team.. The lab is always friendly and better at drawing blood then the hospital! Very efficient and caring, place just gets better every year!! Front desk staff is always polite and pleasant...

My husband went to urgent care after he got off work.That was at 4:00.He is still there- its almost 7:00.Dont go here if you want quality care or cant take off work for appointment.We will be looking for another doctor soon.We have went here over 32 years.

Terrible staff, bad communication services, and it truly depends if I get -one- specific receptionist or not. None of the nurses complete a task 0-100%, the doctors hear, give meds, rinse, and repeat, instead of attempting to understand the issues of their customers (patients are an overstatement for this Slaughterhouse of a facility). I had been going to this office for years before I moved, and I didnt know anything different; but this place -always- drops the ball, and if you decide to use this facility, you will be another cow in the heard; with no respect to your timeliness as a human versus the impact of their lackadaisical, unprofessional staff that shouldnt be qualified for a field that requires consistent execution.

The doctors maybe great but we are unaware as we never made it that far. Tried to schedule a wellness visit and scheduling staff extremely rude and speaks down to you. I told them never mind halfway through the process as that’s not a place for my family.

This place is horrible if your looking to get ahold of someone. I have on multiple occasions attempted to call the listed number and number left behind via voicemail and not once have I ever had a representative answer the phone. You will remain on hold for 3-5 minutes and then your phone call will drop spontaneously. They clearly do not care about customer satisfaction. Oh, and dont bother calling Meritas and asking them to transfer you to the office because they wont. They claim to be a separate entity.

Came to the urgent clinic not feeling well was UNgreeted by the woman at the front desk who was not only impolite, but she was cold and rude. No hello. No how are you. Nothing. Just grunted her interactions like she was speaking to a dog. Her colleagues were within earshot and eyeshot so quite frankly, the entire front desk desperately needs some customer service training or they need to be replaced. This was 11/29/19 at 3:45 pm and the woman was 30 smthg with dark, straight hair. Im incredibly unhappy about this experience.

From front desk to sincere smiles, staff and practitioners are hard at work and healing. Generally speaking check the floors and furniture for bumps and bruises and the patients get over theirs faster.

Worst place you could take someone. Went there for a check up after a motor vehicle accident. Staff and doctors dont listen. They hate the fact an ER doctor put me on liquid oxycodone; he knew two broken vetebrae in your back are going to hurt like hell for a minimum of 6 weeks, ya need something stronger than Ibuprofen! So what happens? I can keep taking my oxy until it runs out but McCormick wants to stick me on something that is no better than over the counter Ibuprofen and is used to treat MILD PAIN. McCormick, lets break two bones in your back and watch you cry for relief from the pain. Youre going to be on the other side of the table one day doc and I wont know whether to feel sorry for you or tell you, Suck it up.

Ive been seeing Dr. Dibernardo for almost 15 years, and my wife and I feel hes an extended member of our family Ive never had a doctor with the bedside candor he displays. No matter how full his office is or how busy he may be he never acts that way. I could have a laundry list of issues or questions, and he ALWAYS listens attentively and answers all my questions. Dr. D. And Meritas Gashland are a must to consider!

Excellent office, and excellent care! There have been no changes in ownership in years. I have seen many doctors and the nurse practitioner over the past 8 years I have been using Gashland for my primary care and I have been satisfied with all of them. I have received nothing but exceptional care every time at Gashland and I am blessed to have them as my primary providers.

Bring a book to read or something to keep you distracted from the waiting time.

Aftrr being on hold for 7 minutes a rude receptionist answered the appointment phone today.

I have been a patient here since 2013 and have recently had to use the urgent care offerings in the past year a couple of times. My PCP is only there part time and has limited hours so thats a pain, but I can switch to someone else too, so thats my own issue. She has been pretty good about things, but does run late all the time and so you end up waiting a lot. Shes gotten much better the last year or two. Listening when I have something wrong, sending me to specialists to get things hammered out. I really just see her for medication management for a couple of issues. The urgent care center is really good in my opinion. I saw Dr. Krum for an issue and Dr. Debernardo for another issue and they both were great! Quick, good bedside manner, super knowledgeable, Id totally go to them again. I also see Dr. Orr and the NP Janet in Endocrinology in that building. Dr. Orr is great. She is kind but honest and some people might not want to hear honest. Very, very nice. Both of them lay diabetes complications out on the line for you and question you on what you are doing in your lifestyle to control your diabetes. I listened and changed my entire lifestyle and lost a bunch of weight so we are slowly coming down off those diabetes medications. Ive only seen Janet once so, I dont think its fair to assess her on that visit, but she was prickly when I visited with her. Didnt seem very happy. Could have been a bad day with lots of difficult people too. Overall Id highly recommend the Gashland Clinic. Nice, knowledgeable, urgent care is quick and accurate, awesome.

Got stuck with a huge bill that insurance would have covered if it was coded right, the first time.Have been misdiagnosed there so many times... Your better off symptom checking on webmd.The guys at work used to laugh at me for going to Gashland, because the doctors there are 3rd rate and rejects from real hospitals. Id be better off going to a mobile animal clinic.I will definitely be looking elsewhere.

This office has lost my business which is a shame because I really like my doctor. They sent a bill to collections and I never received a statement in the mail or received a curtesy call before they submitted it. When calling and speaking to the billing supervisor, she explained that yes my phone number was wrong in their system but it was my fault that I didnt update it even though the front desk didnt ask me. I have had my phone number for 12 years and I only started going to this doctor 1.5 years ago. Not to mention that they had the correct address which I have had for 6 years. The collection was also a very small amount but has great impact on what was a perfect credit score. Very unprofessional!

This facility has gone downhill the wait at the front desk has been 20 plus minutes every time. Then I wait again in the waiting room another 20 plus minutes. Then again in the room for 40 plus mins. They lost my paperwork and never call back. If you are in to bad customer service and standing and sitting in waiting rooms this is the office for you. The doctor was great if she moves I will move with her.

I am a new patient, having just moved into the area. Can not believe how wonderful everyone at the clinic is. Very professional but caring. Dr Haubt is the best Dr I have come in contact with and I am going on 65 years old. Thanks to all staff!! They treat me like I am a person and not just a number

Its a mixed bag. The doctors I have dealt with (2) are pretty good. God forbid that you should need to call back in and find out something about tests, xrays, or anything else. You will play phone tag for a day or two and spend several hours on hold trying to get the right person. The supporting processes are a mess. While the front desk is very helpful, polite and efficient while you are there in person, calling in to try to find out anything is a mess.Its 2015; there should be ways to automate or put information online that would be better than listening to hold messages for extended periods of time.

I got a certified letter from my doctor today on September 16, 2016 telling me after much consideration I need to seek medical care from another facility. He will no longer care for me after October 14 and that includes other health care providers from that office. What in the heck is wrong with these doctors. I really liked this place but now what they just did to me was totally uncalled for!!! I have a lot of health problems and giving me less than 30 days to find another doctor. Well Meritas Health Gasland you just lost my whole family because of your idiotic decision to boot me out of your medical care. You are some really sorry people. Thanks for nothing!!! You all are very uncaring and dont have enough balls to tell me what the reason is that you all will no longer give me medical care!!! So heartless!!! Dr. Todd Fox is great with my kids. Hes recently become my doctor as well. He could fit me in his schedule when I had an emergency. Thank you Dr. Fox for taking care of my family and me.

So far I only like that its near my house. If my old doctor wasnt in Belton I would surely be going there. The care is adequate... I just dont feel much of a connection; and the support staff seems like maybe they forgot why they have jobs in some cases. I get that you want to follow your process... but please remember that patient = customer.

They call and confirm your insurance then turn you away when you get there. Waste of time. They say they will pass our concerns on to the administrator sounds to me she/he is the problem. Not to mention the patient accounts rep knows nothing about insurance and has to ask 3 other people that dont know either. Unacceptable. If the doctors are good here, they have a sh**ty staff hindering business.

Dr. Ranes is great. Perfect balance of friendly and knowledgeable. If you have choice, ask to be seen by her. Under the circumstances, great experience.

Cant say I like this place at all, but a Dr finally saw daughter and had better bed side manner than the 2 before. I shouldnt of had to flip my sh** to get some help.

Lab Corp wouldnt answer the phone when i called 5 different times. So i showed up with my child and got sent away since i had my child. I tried to call. Waited on the phone thur all the teleprompter 5 different times. Waste of my time. Maybe if you would have just answered the phone......

Dont waste your time or your money here. Unprofessional and uncaring. Their idea of pain management is seeing a therapist and making it sound like its all in your head.

I had multiple people treat me like garbage I went there with pain I still have the pain and nothing for it and I have an MRI in two days. They would literally not seen me for another very important thing until I make another visit after The Visit for the mri. They truely dont care about u, you are $$$$ to them some look like this to them $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Period.

Was misdiagnosed by: Andrew J. Jurgensmeier, M.D. he told me to come back if I wasn’t better in a week after telling me my X-rays came back normal. I go to my chiropractor and he says the X-rays show a hairline fracture I go back here and they say he’s just a chiropractor and what does he know like seriously. NEVER again in life!!!! Staff was rude and unprofessional. Is so sad when you’re in the business of helping sick people and you make themfeel worse.

There are some doctors here who in my opinion carry this place which is why it is two stars instead of one. Ive switched more than once and most of them wont give you the time of day. Classic stereotype of a doctor. I know they have way more on their plate then we would like to imagine but I wish they would remember the reason they went through all that schooling in the first place.

Personnel are awesome. Been seeing Dr Luerding for 20 years. His nurses are top notch and listen. Very happy with them. However, takes an act of congress to make an appointment.

Been going to this clinic for years. Sometimes the bedside manner of doctors leaves something to be desired but I dont think thats uncommon for doctors. Ive always been completely satisfied with their care and treatment of my illness or my husbands.

Everyone’s distracted and doctors rush you out the door. Poor communication and experience.

Im a fairly new client, but I have been cared for well here! I like that they can always get me in and they listen to me before just throwing a prescription at me.

NEVER go to the urgency clinic!!!! My wife had terrible pain in her knee. Got there and got an xray. Then we sat in the exam room for 1 hour 45 mins (not exaggerating, I checked the time). They knew how much pain she was in and did not seem to care. I wheeled her out of there in her robe and no one around to even notice. Sitting in the ER now so someone can finally help her.

I love this place! Never had a problem and they get right to the point no bs.

I went to see Andrew Jerganmieser, and he was amazing! I tend to have a very good experience when I go to meritas health/north Kansas city hospital, but I am especially pleased with how I was treated by Dr. Jerganmieser. I am transgender, and he made sure to add a medical note telling doctors to call me Kyle. And when I described what happen he listened and you could tell he cared.

My family have been using this clinic for 8 years now, doctor Dibernardo is the best. we drive 45 min to see him because of the service he provides.but his nurse Nancy is a complete idiot. she cant send or receive faxes, she is lucky if she could even tie her shoes in the am. the clinic has changed since meritas bought them may have to start looking for new clinic.

I have been going to this clinic for over 30 years and have always had good care. Dr. Dibernardo and Dr Luerding always take the time to listen to you and are very nice. I can always get an appointment, usually the same day. I have never had to wait for my appointment.

I see Dr. Krumm. He takes time to get to know me and always takes his time. Dr. Krumm and his nurse do a great job. I would highly recommend.

I had an appt with Dr Lowery, was my first and last time seeing her, actually my last time ever going to this Clinic. She was SO RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND JUST PLAIN DIDNT CARE ABOUT ME AS A PATIENT. Her exact diagnosis for me.... I have no idea what is wrong with you, whatever it is... it came on its own, so hopefully it will go away on its own. After I left I called and complained to the office manager, she was just as rude and unprofessional as Dr. Lowery. Needless to say I just reported her to state and I hope something is done about it.

The most unprofessional clinic in Kansas City. All they know how to do is send you to a specialist after they get your co-pay, if all you got is cold than this might be the place for you but your better off going to the Minute Clinic they have a shorter wait and are more professional. Good luck getting in touch with your doctor outside of appointments.

I understand that nobody is perfect especially since I Myself work in customer service. That being said, the experience i had last week was just uncalled for, and their is absolutely no excuse.First off Dr Albers was 1hr and 20 minutes behind my appointment time: no one suggested to reschedule or anything. I had other commitments that day. The nurse was kinda rude about it when I asked her how much longer it was going to take.Dr albers then comes in franticly and does my lady part check up and it was so abrupt and she hurt me. The appointment lasted 5 minutes I had more questions but time wasn’t an option apparently for either of us.I left in tears feeling violated especially since I have been going to her since I was a preteen and she had no recollection of who I was. She then forgot to fill my prescription so I had to deal with that. And I am currently without the prescription filled. And yes! I have tried calling to get it filled and so has the pharmacy:Needless to say I am in the market for a new doctors office.

Our familys experience has been great. Dr. DiBernardo and Dr. Fox are courteous, thorough, and prompt.

Stuck me without my asthma medicine for the weekend. First person we talked to said it was a pharmacy issue. It was finally revealed that I needed a prescription renewed. It was denied, on a Friday. So here I am without for the weekend. Had the first person we talked to known what they were talking about, this could have been avoided. Lack of communication is a turn off. I won’t be back.

I started going here in 2004 and it was great. It is now a horrible place with very rude doctors. Dr Lowery borders on malpractice. They lost my familys business.

Extremely long wait times. They have a sign to go to the front desk if you have waited longer than 30 minutes. I did and front desk acted like I had no reason to be talking to them.

Would recommend Dr. DiBernardo. Ive been going to him for over 10 years.

I going there is have appointment at 9 20 they tell me the doctor cant see you .they gave me another dr on available i have no choice I have to see her .when I see a dr I was telling her I just need she gave me a refill my pill was really good when I say that she was rude and gave me a attitude and she say no she not gave me no refill .I supper up set inside so I end up to pay 110 self pay which is nothing and my friends tell me you need to fight you came there with nothing. I would never ever went there again. Nope

Have been using the clinic for a couple of years. Always get a same day appt. when I need it. I have seen Dr. Albers and Dr. Fawcett because I prefer a female doctor, both are excellent.

Took a nasty fall the doctor examined me and sent me to the ER. My injuries required preauthorization which for a doctors office can yake ours but an ER doesnt require. Refunded my copay. I have a follow up today. Very happy with this clinic.

Would NEVER return or refer any one to this place. Saw Dr.Sarah Lowery for my first and only visit. Was very rude and condescending and then referred me to a dentist and wrote a prescription without a diagnosis!

We have always received excellent care from from the staff, Dr. DiBernardo & his nurses! Id pass on Dr. Lowry & her nurse, Barbara, not the friendliest & not very thorough.

I have been going to this Clinic for many years now all the doctors are rude except for dr. Raines which is the only reason why I stay. Went in today for respiratory issues the nurse on dr. McCormick side asked if I was a smoker which I said I was unfortunately. She replies back very rudely I can smell it on you. Then I was trying to get some information about it I was contagious or not and they were more concerned about me being a smoker then my treatment. I know I need to quit smoking but to them theyre perfect because their doctors and nurses. I will probably never go back to this Clinic ever again unless Im seeing dr. Raines only rude rude rude and very unprofessional Clinic.

Big fan of my doctor and normal appointments at The Gashland clinic. The “Urgant Care” part I found lacking and ill-named. Takes forever. Even with an empty waiting room and parking lot.

Their billing department is a joke. i tried to let them know i had taken care of my bill with meritas and they would not look anything up and lied about calling them to see if i had taken care of my bill. so i was not able to see my regular doctor and had to go to a random doctor when i was sick because gashland said i owed meritas money. i will never go to gashland clinic and suggest nobody else does either

Their front office staff is horrible, they are not trained to recognize an urgent situation. They dont pass messages to the doctor, HORRIBLE!

I strongly advise any person seeking medical care go anywhere other than Gashland medical center.I have never experienced doctors with such a lack of concern for a patient, with 2 doctors that I tried to get medical care from.

One of my primary doctors sent me to this location to have test run and I had excellent service. Hes Dr. Hawa.

We always receive the best and prompt care! I would not go anywhere else.

8:35am on a Monday and the phone has been ringing with no response, no automated system. 3 minutes now.

Dr Lowery is a waste of time and money. She did not ask me any questions, and she did not listen to anything I said in response to her demeaning advice. She was unfriendly, uncaring, and insulting.

Never had a problem getting in. Cant always see my primary doctor, but each one Ive had has been great
