If I could have left 0 stars I would have. My wife has been a patient of Dr. Nelson for 7 years and met him only once when she had a stay in the hospital just this year. Getting routine maintenance prescriptions refilled is an act of God and usually takes about a week of calling his office several times ( being hung up on, put on hold for nearly an hour,etc) before Dr. Nelson will call it in. Paid for a visit Thursday for prescription refill and my wife is without medication today (Saturday) due to not being called in. Office was open this morning and when we called we were told to call after hours at 12:15 and the answering service would text him. Followed direction and was told that they were told by the Dr. not to text or call him with prescription issues. What a joke!!! Worst Dr. and staff I have ever seen!!!!!

Dr. Nelson is a great primary care Dr for our family. We have been going to this office for several years. He also has great nurses and nurse practitioners in his office.

Worst Dr ive ever seen, I had to change primary Drs because of insurance change. Wait times are horrible, he doesnt remember amything about you from visit to visit. Ive had 6 major back surguries, fused from C2 to L4, have arteritis in my back now and arachnoiditis because of all the surguries. So i require pain medication that my prior Dr prescribed for 4 years with out any problems. Dr. Nelson acts like Im Dr shopping for drugs even though Ive been aeeing him for over a year and he has been reluctantly prescribing it. But each month i go for a refill its the same thing all over again like I just walked in off the street and he has never met me. I even had a letter from my old primary that said I have never abused my medications and would vouch for me anytime. Dr. Nelson refused to look at it or even talk to my old primary Dr. This is one Dr who is all about quantity over quality and cares very little if at all about his patients. Fired him today after he inferred once again that I was abusing drugs and was only there to get them. When I confeonted him about it his exacts words were feel free to go elsewhere, Im in no mood for it Really your in no mood?

Dr. Nelson is good doctor, his office staff on the other hand need a few lessons in courtesy.
