The one star is for doctor Parra, my husband really enjoyed his first and only visit with him.When nurse called with results, nothing made sense regarding his visit, called back three times and assistant never called back.The lady that makes the appointment is extremely unprofessional, her attitude is like she is making us a favor extremely unprofessional. Tried to get my son to see Dr. Parra and made it impossible, give me only one option regarding date and time, event though I stated we can do it at a later time.Doctor is great, just his administration lacks of professionalism. If you want better medical care, please go elsewhere, give this office cero stars.

Doctor Michael Parra has been my mothers doctor for over 30 years thank you for being an awesome doctor

Staff and procedures are horrible. Dr. Parra had been my familys doctor for over 20 years, he delivered my brothers and even my son. I had found a lump in my breast and when I called for an appointment I was told since it had been awhile since I had been in to see the doctor I would have to register as a new patient and they didnt have my records on file and it would be two months before I could see Dr. Parra. I was scared and the idea of waiting two months to get the lump checked terrified me, I asked to leave a message for Dr. Parra and I told him the situation on his message service, never got a call back. Apparently 20 years means nothing to them, lump on the breast means nothing to them, you are just a number there. I ended up going to Planned Parenthood, they got me in under a week and were with me every step of the way. Good news the lump was benign. Providence Medical Center is in charge and I would never go to that hospital either.

(had to put one )How do you be a womans PC doctor for 30 years and not impress the importance of a yearly mammogram??On Medicare your PC doc is supposed to give you a physical every year and ask the questions,Any new symptoms or problems ? are you getting a yearly mammogram ?Are you due for a colonoscopy? Have you had a yearly pap smear?are you having yearly vision exams?? This dr NEVER did annual physicals for my friend ,NEVER expressed the importance of a annual mammogram so at 89 years old she had a lump and was diagnosed with stage 4 Metastatic breast cancer . She doesnt think I should blame him but how can you not ??She is doing ok but its taking a tole and has just metastasized to her stomach. So instead of spending her last years worry free she has to endure all the tests and treatments for the rest of her life ! Speaking as one who had very early breast cancer (watched the spot for a year)and a very minor lumpectomy. Totally could have been avoided by this jerk being a freakin doctor!!

Absolutely a horrible experience. I was running a little late getting to the appointment. 30 minutes before my appointment i called and talked with their office and told them i would be 15 or 20 minutes late and asked if that would be ok. They told me that was not a problem and to come on in, it was fine. I got there exactly 20 minutes late for my appointment.When i got there both ladies at the reception desk told me without checking with anyone that i was going to have to reschedule. I explained to her i called in and they said it would be ok. She told me very bluntly the operator may have told me that but i was going to have to reschedule . The office was almost empty. It was not close to the end of the day.they were just being very rude. We have had to wait more than 2 hours at their office in the past. I called the operator back. She was also rude telling me she always says to come on in but it is up to the discretion of the doctor and she was not going to debate this any further.. No one checked with the doctor. I drove 30 minutes, took off work, just so they could show me how little they care about us. We will find another doctor for our daughter.

The worst experience I ever had Dr. Parra didnt even exam me and certainly didnt help ,me I have 8 bulging disc, fibermyolga, degenitive bone disease with over 30 surgeries under my belt back on a walker and in alot of pain couldnt be more disgusted with a Dr. who I know gives out methadone and other narcotics to his patiants!!!!!

Was very helpful didnt just want to give me pain meds and ignore the problem Dr. King actually helped me to figure out what was wrong with my back glad I found a good doctor so close to home

This office had the worst APPOINTMENT CLERK SHE IS RUDE A LOT OF ATTITUDE THIS IS BAD BUSINESS, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
