And, they were great in assisting us with the administrative hurdles we had to jump through with the city in which we live in order to gain project approval and pull the necessary permit. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in solar.

I gave him four stars because of the length of time for installations and the extra star for the honest and quick response when a few road blocks came into play. Sovereign Solar USA is truly customer service oriented, and has worked beyond what was expected.When we wanted to install Solar, we did our homework and interviewed several solar companies. We decided to go with Sovereign Solar; based on how comfortable we were with Patricks (the owner) knowledge base, and experience in the industry. They also had all the other options that the national companies have, including, access to high quality equipment, and financing options, but with a local presence in this area for several years.Patrick has proven to be dedicated to his customers, by always responding to our texts and phone calls without hesitation. In addition, Sovereign Solar USA and their employees worked with us to meet an installation date before the end of the year, with only a couple of months to do so. This not only included the actual installation, but also getting our Electrical Companys application processed. This was done without losing quality workmanship in the process. The installers Nick and Kyle also impressed us with their work ethic, knowledge, and customer service.

*Update April 07, 2021*Still no word from Sovereign/Patrick, but I would recommend people that got left hanging to check out Jason over at JSunPV. No, he didnt pay me to do this, but he sure did fix my inverter problem, quick.*Update March 12, 2021*So after the recent cold snap, my inverter started to act up and systems not generating and I tried contacting Patrick about coming back and take a look. But, I havent been able to reach anyone from Sovereign and the voice mailbox is apparently full. Bad vibe. I dug through their social media accounts and found no leads on how to get in contact. So, I went on Google and looked through the reviews a bit and decided to verify the office address there. Called Country Club Plaza and they told me that there was no Sovereign Solar business there, ever (which might be a PO box or something). Really bad vibe. I want to say that they may have gone out of business? but at least let your customers know. And all the stuff below are still real but this leaves an unpleasant aftertaste. Patrick, kinda need some help here, can you contact me?Patrick and the crew from Sovereign Solar is a fantastic choice to have your solar system done with. They are very professional and knowledgeable in what they do so you can rest assure that the end product is up to snuff.Patrick will sit down and explain pretty much all the workings of the system and discuss your options. He and the crew handle pretty much all the paperwork from permitting, engineering drawings, rebate/credit applications. So, you could potentially just sit back, relax and let them do their thing.One of the remarkable things they did were ensuring that my roof was structurally sound, to handle the extra load from the panels. An engineer came an inspected my roof and recommended adding extra members to brace the weird configuration it had, in which I’m glad he pointed it out.They also document the process very well, taking pictures of pretty much anything related to the system and have all the paperwork ready to be copied over to you once they are finalized.There’s a 3rd party loan group involved if you choose the finance option and the process here was also smooth and painless, which Patrick also goes through with you.The installation went very well and could be completed on a good day, but due to some weather troubles recently, we’ve finished in two days. I recommend booking an appointment if your life is busier than usual and/or expecting bad weather. The crew is friendly and respectful but can also enjoy a joke here and there.In conclusion, I’m glad that I chose Sovereign and would recommend them to a friend going solar. If you’re thinking of going solar before the KCPL rebate is over, look no further for a trusted installer.

Patrick and his team installed solar at my residence and the Solar system came online about March of 2020. It was very good working with him and his team. Now that the system has been running for almost a year, the system developed an issue reporting to the SolarEdge monitoring system. I have made several attempts to reach Patrick to do warranty repair but cannot reach him and get no response from messages left. With that said Soverign Solar seems good about installing the systems but there seems to be no support after installation.

Patrick with sovereign solar was fantastic through out the whole process. He offers very competitive pricing allowing his clients to maximize their ROI. I had an issue with a panel under producing and his team was out the next day to replace it temporarily while we waited for the warranty panel.I truly enjoyed working with Sovereign Solar on this install and cannot be happier with the results. We saved $220 the first month after installation on our power bill.

We bought a solar energy system from sovereign solar. So far we love it and its reduced our electricity bill by hundreds of dollars each month. Our home resale value will increase with now having a power plant on our roof! We highly recommend.

Im sorry to say that my experience is not like everyone elses. Im not sure how there are so many five star reviews with the incompetence I have experienced. I signed my contract on 9/18/20 and understood it would take about a month for the materials to arrive. Without notice the workers showed up about one month later and I was estatic to have the work starting. About two weeks later the roof work was finished, or at least I thought. As it turns out, the workers quit and Patrick was trying to determine his next move. Two weeks later I received a letter from my city stating they noticed the solar installation and that NO PERMIT was pulled for the work, in direct violation of the contract I signed with Patrick and any building department requirements. Patrick was notified of the letter, but never picked up or called, only occasionally texting what the next step is. It has been a month since then and still no permit is pulled and the job isnt complete. Today was the final straw, he sent me an invoice for the final payment, even though there is still no permit and the job isnt complete. The contract specifically says that payment is due upon a passing inspection from the building department. Patrick, YOU ARE FIRED!

I am in absolute awe of your company. The guys that you sent out to install my system are absolutely out of this world. They are committed, involved, hard working, professional, innovative and proud of what they do. I watched this team work and it has made me re-think how I see this new generation. Patrick got the job because of his pricing and his knowledge. The price for the install of my solar cells was very competitive. He discussed numerous options with us and their value. We chose one of those option which shows our electric usage graph overlaid with graph of solar production. Product is an E-Gauge. Even my wife has be looking at the graphs.The folk he had installing the panels and system were young, but extremely well versed in there job. There were polite, hard working, cleaned up after each day after the job. The meters and system equipment they installed was well placed and thought out.Right now, the system has been running for a little over a week and everything is functioning great.I thank my luck stars for finding Sovereign Solar and adding them to my prospective list. Very precise and exacting to get the project done WELL!Entire TEAM was VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE and extremely hardworking individuals. Plus, they RETURNED my phone calls quickly!The other solar companies ONLY wanted to sell you what THEY wanted to sell to you,but Sovereign Solar ONLY SOLD us what we actually NEEDED and customized it to any of our particular requests.

I contacted seven of the highest ranked solar contractors in the general Kansas City area to discuss installing solar panels on my home during the summer of 2020. I received detailed bids from 5 contractors and verbal bids from the other 2. Although Sovereign was not the lowest bidder; their proposal and a follow-up in-person interview with the Owner set them apart from the others, and we contracted with them. The installation crew worked hard on several hot and steamy August days, and they completed their work on schedule. They made sure all the roof penetrations were completely sealed; were careful to avoid any damage to my roof, my electrical panel, and the interior of my home; they checked the installation, controls and metering, and verified the solar output to insure everything was working as designed; and they did a great job of cleaning the site before they left my property. The installation looks really good; it easily passed the City inspection and the Evergy electrical inspection; and the solar plant was up and running as soon as Evergy changed out the old meter for a net meter.If you are in the market for solar, I suggest you get at least 3 bids, discuss the bids with the contractors, and compare the bids closely. At least 2 of the bidders on my project sent out salesmen who spoke very highly of their respective companies, but my bid reviews showed their cost per installed KW for a similar system (using the same Solaria panels, but lesser quality microinverters) was 20%-30% higher than Sovereigns and a couple of other bidders. I definitely recommend including Sovereign in your list of bidders.

I have an existing solar system that was installed 3 years ago by another installer. I have an issue with the inverter boxes and called the original installer only to find out that they do not troubleshoot issues after the installation.So I was put into contact with Patrick (Sovereign Solar) to troubleshoot the issue. Finding a solar provider was frustrating until I contacted Patrick at Sovereign Solar. The first four companies had me meet with a salesperson for the quote who would then hand it off to a contractor. They couldnt answer some of my questions very well and just left me feeling uneasy. This is why I looked outside our area for better providers and found Sovereign Solar based in KC (2 hours away).Patrick and his partner Jeff did a fantastic job designing a system that fit our house location and energy needs. Their ability to answer questions and explain was far superior because in addition to preparing the quote they also design and install the system.We were still waiting to meet with one more company based in our hometown prior to making a decision. Ultimately, we went with the other company. They shared similar qualities with Sovereign but had a closer location should something happen while I was traveling. If this had not happened or we lived in KC I wouldnt have hesitated to choose Patrick and his team for our Solar project.

My son, who is the owner of Sovereign Solar, installed a 6,390 watt solar power system on my house back in the summer of 2018. All my electric bills have been less than $10, and even some months the electric company has owed me money because it generated more electricity than we used! Whatever Sovereign Solar did has been working.I dont have to worry anymore when the electric company decides to raise its prices because all my electricity comes from the solar panels on my roof. The panels are expected to be functioning at 85% capacity after 25-years - WOW! And if I decide to sell and move, Im expected to sell the house quickly and at a premium because the home comes with a power plant, which will benefit the new homeowners. The project looks to be built strong enough to last those 25-years! Plus it was FREE because Im his mom.

**** NEW UPDATED REVIEW as of 10/14/2021*** I previously had rated Sovereign Solar a 5 but unfortunately have had to change my review and downgraded my review to a 1 Star. The backstory on the reason for the drastic change. Everything had been going well. I even had additional panels added to my system. Whenever I would call the owner, Patrick, he was always responsive. All that changed earlier this year (2021). I noticed one of my panels not working so I tried to call Patrick and left a message. I never heard back. I also sent Facebook messages and as well as emails, text messages and additional phone calls. I had recommended others to use Sovereign Solar so I called one of my friends who had a system put in by them to see if he had spoken to Patrick. He had not been able to get a hold of him either. I was able to find another phone number for Patrick and he answered that call. He told me he would have someone come fix my panel in the next week or so.....that was nearly 6 months ago. After no one showed up, I started calling and leaving messages on both phone numbers, I sent multiple text messages, been emailing, sending instant messaging to Patrick and Sovereign Solar, but now Patrick does not respond at all. I guess he is out of the solar business....but if not, I can no longer recommend Patrick Khosravani or Sovereign Solar.We have been considering getting solar for several years. The price point was always too far out of reach. We had several companies come out and give us bids. We had companies bid where we could lease the equipment, a bid where we could buy directly from them and install the system ourselves which was supposed to save us nearly 40%. The company where we would install it ourselves told us it would only take a day or two to install the system. Luckily, before I pulled the trigger with any of these other companies, I met Patrick with Sovereign Solar. Patrick gave us a bid that was only slightly higher then the bid where we were going to have to install the system ourselves (including the permitting process and working with the local utility company.)Patrick did an excellent job navigating through the licensing and permitting process with both the local government as well as the local utility company. I can tell you this was not an easy process and one that I had no desire to deal with.Patrick and his team (Kyle and Ray) completed our project professionally and in a timely manner. Patrick has always been very responsive to questions and any concerns. I saved enough money that as an added bonus, I had Patrick install the Sense monitoring system so we can see exactly what appliances are using electricity and how much.So basically, if you are serious about getting a solar system....stop wasting your time looking around.....I have already done all the research and Sovereign Solar should be your first and only call.
