Shes an amazing Doctor. Very attentive, answers any questions. The waiting time is long, but in the end its well worth it. My daughters have been patients of hers since day 1. Couldnt have a better doctor to care for them.

My kids have been with Dr. Cullen for 16+ years and she has been a very wonderful pediatrician for my kids. Though Im concerned with two of the current reviews on that is listed, either she has moved and not forwarded an address or she has completely went out of business. As of 2/16/2018 Dr Cullen office has been vacated, when ask other neighbors and medical records no one has seen or heard from Dr. Cullen since December of 2017 when she closed. I hoped this was not true but I can find Dr Cullen anywhere in Kansas City, Mo. if any one has any information on where she has moved or located please send me an email, I desperately need to get my kids medical records.

Dr Cullens is unprofessional and extremely rude. She wouldnt answer any of our questions or address our concerns. This is my childs well being and isnt to be taken lightly. I wouldnt trust her with my dog. I refuse to take my children back to her. For the love of all that is sacred, please find a better pediatrician. Do not take your children to this woman. My son ended up in the hospital with pneumonia after 3 visits to her office and being misdiagnosed. When my daughter had a seizure the school nurse gave me better advice and answers than this so-called pediatrician.... Shame on her for taking money for a job shes not doing.

Great Doctor and great staff. I have 7 children and all are being Dr. Cullenss patients from birth. She is knowledgeable and passionate. Staffs are well trained and helpful. I strongly recommend her to anyone looking for new pediatrician.

Im going to leave a much different review than the others! As a mom of 4 boys ( two who are medically complex ... one has cancer and one has been recently diagnosed with CP and is only 7 months old ) we love Dr Cullens. She isnt going to sugar coat things. Shes going to get right to the point! Ive never experienced long wait times. Shes a one woman show which is AWESOME! Shes your Dr and your nurse so you dont have to worry about repeating information!! Shes been right on top of making sure my CP kiddo has gotten in right away to OT/OT, MRI, neurology ... The only part I will agree with is her young lady who works the desk could use a few pointers or maybe just another helper if the job is to much for her. Once you get past her, everything is great!

Unprofessional doctor, staff and office. Have contacted this office numerous times regarding my daughters account and have demanded payment back for a visit that was covered by insurance. The office manager would never speak to me. Would never acknowledge receipt of messages and I have still not received payment for a visit from January. Its now September. The girl taking my message is absolutely no help as well. DO NOT waste your time going to this doctor or her office. How the office staff handles issues and how the office looks really makes you wonder if your child is receiving good care.

Dont waste your time here, just go somewhere else. The man up front at the desk is very unprofessional and rude. He does not work with you, and when he gets frustrated he will degrade you.The office itself is very tacky looking.Dr. Cullens does not talk about anything. It is her way or no way. She wont work with you, just wants to rush you out. The only positive experience Ive had here was with one of the nurses(cant remember a name) she was very sweet.

Well, I was getting on here to write a review but it looks like everyone else has already covered what I was going to say. The Doctor is ok but her husband/business office manager or whomever he is, is extremely out of line. After reading all the other reviews, doesnt look like much ahs changed since I left which is sad. You would think the doctor would be more professional and not just walk by as he is yelling at patients parents while their children are standing right there but she doesnt say a word. Dont go here!

Absolutely the worst doctors office Ive ever been too! The front desk receptionist is extremely rude and lacks communication, as well as basic office skills. So if your someone who likes to get records of everything such as immunizations , dont expect to get that here. The doctor just shows up whenever and youll be waiting an hour to 2 hours for sure every appointment. So in a nutshell I left mainly because of the receptionist and partially because of the wait, the doctor her self always helped my kids and was very nice as well as her nurses, all the way up until the day I requested my childrens records and told her because of her receptionist I wouldnt be back. She didnt even ask why and took his side completely. I strongly encourage you to pass this doctors office by. Not worth the headache and frustration.

Dr. Cullens can sometimes come off as a bit blunt, however she provides some of the best care that my daughter has ever seen. My 5 year old loves her!

The front desk man is the absolute worst. So unprofessional and rude! They almost never answer the phone and arent helpful when they do. They have a huge turn around rate of nurses and cant keep any employees. My kids have been going to this office since birth, and I have just watched it fall through the crackes. And to top it off they claim they want money to release records when told to find a new doctor.

Ive been going for 10 years and say every year that I need to change doctors and now that I have another baby I really am this time! Only one Dr in this office and she rushes, in and out, does not spend quality time at all, while you are there for an hour or more because she overbooks. This last visit I told her I thought my daughter had a milk allergy and she wrote her hives off as bug bites, I had to go back two days later and literally demand she refer me for an allergy test, to which her husband, (the receptionist everyone references) made me pay for the visit when I was just there two days prior and tried to get referred but she wouldnt do it. Test came back, my baby had two allergies! Smh that was the final straw for me...

This doctors office is by far the worst I have seen ! There are no nurses on site , 1 doctor available (dr.cullens) , and a old guy that looks like a janitor as a receptionist!?? And not to mention his communication skills are terrible!!!I took my daughter here a few days ago seeking medical advice, I really felt as if I should have read the reviews on this doctor first but I ASSUMED everything would be professional due to past encounters with saint Joseph hospital lolSo I get here, sign in , and the drs husband tells me the credit card machine is down and they only accept cash , so I agreed to go to the ATM inside of the hospital; as I come back to pay for my daughters check up the reception guy takes his own PERSONAL wallet out of his pocket to give me change , and I thought that was very strange,BUT I didnt feed too much into it...The moral to my story is this doctor (cullens) is by far one of the rudest , unprofessional, judgemental, inconsiderate ass doctors Ive ever met! First she was training a med student and kept leaving me in the room with her and when I needed to ask questions she couldnt answer them ?? It was so rude she kept stepping in and out of our visit while I was expressing my concerns about my child ...I would never.............. return back to this dump! The feeling I felt when I left my visit was uneasy and I dont dig that .. so I wanted to share this with who is ever trying to find a new doctor... I would not recommend dr. Armisa T. Cullens

I dont even have the time nor the energy to explain all the unproffessional and uncaring interactions I, my husband, my son, and even other families have (just from observation). This place is bad news in every sense of the word. Please avoid this place! The customer is not right, the children are not the priority, and they take forever to see you and then rush you out of the office once they do give you their attention. Such an awful experience and Ive gone a few times to make sure that they werent just having a bad day, each experience is worse than the one before. Dr. Cullens heard my husband talking with some other families there, they were all saying her office should be closed and my husband was saying, dont just say it, call the hospital and leave a review so that something can actually be done. Well, when Dr. Cullens brought us back to see us that day she was all smiles and giggles which she has never been before but I know she heard my husband saying he will call to complain. I try to be very understanding and gracious towards people in the work place because things get busy and there is so much going on that we dont see, but regardless of what is unseen, I dont have enough grace in the world to recommend this place to anybody! PS: This is the first review Ive ever left on Google (good or bad), thats how passionate I am about warning parents to chose a different doctor! Best wishes to you all and your kiddos.

I am extremely pissed at this Dr. Office. I asked for my grandson to see Dr. Dattel in another building (because all 3 of my kids grew up seeing him, excellent and knowledgable) and the hospital sent over this Dr. Cullins. They made my daughter pay cash out of pocket for my grandson to be seen at 4 days old and now that he has insurance, she is being told they dont take the insurance he is covered under and wont refund her money. GOOD Pediatricians do not make new parents pay cash out of pocket within the first 30-90 days of a birth, they should also make sure people are aware of what insurance is excepted and is not before seeing patients! HORRRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE as well

My 3 year old daughter has been with Dr. Cullens since birth. Dr. Cullens offered good advice over the years, but the staff has always bothered me. We put up with the staff as we felt sage medical advice was more important than friendly staff. We were very wrong.We moved away from Kansas City a few months ago, first for a few months in Dallas, Texas then to London, UK. We requested medical records from 4 doctors between the various family members. We paid all fees, filled out change of address forms, and signed records requests with each of them. We should have known something was wrong when Dr. Cullens office required double the fee of the other providers. A few weeks later we had received all records from 3 of the doctors, but the records from Dr. Cullens were still missing.We are now over two months past the initial request. After countless calls, begging, pleading, and doing everything we could to try and get theses records we have been told that we must now resubmit the request and fees with nothing more than cruel words, lies that they had not received forms that other office staff had already confirmed countless times, and no hope that they will ever remedy the situation regardless of what hoops we are willing to jump through.Our daughter is due her 3 year shots, and we have no idea what she has had to date. We will have no record of her immunizations or medical history up until the age of 3. We also have no idea what ramifications this will have in a foreign country.If you are like me and your child is the most important thing in your world, avoid this place. Ultimately, we were lucky. With the complete disregard for humanity that this office has repeatedly demonstrated over the past few months I am horrified to think that we were probably the lucky ones.

Horrible! Made me pay out of pocket cash for my daughter to be seen 4 days after she was born, advised me to call back to update insurance and they would refund me. Its been 4 MONTHS AND I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ONE CALL BACK AFTER CALLING REPEATEDLY!
