I have a ridiculous fear of dental procedures. I needed TWO ROOT CANALS and chose to go to Doc. Sutton because of his reviews. I had a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! Amy was my dentist and I SWEAR TO YOU having two root canals was like having a filling. I literally SLEPT THROUGH IT! The staff if very pleasant, very compassionate and sensitive to your fears. THIS IS THE ONLY DENTIST I WILL EVER USE!!!! Believe the reviews people.

Long story short, they were incredible. I was in so much tooth pain, and this office was the only dentist in the area that had an opening. Turns out, it was the best decision Ive made all year. Dr. Amy and every single member of the staff, from the nurses to the clerks, made me feel so welcome and comfortable, and the whole process of my root canal and crown were done so professionally and swiftly that it felt like I was barely there. Sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!

I would give this office 10/10 stars if I could. The second I walked through the door I immediately received a warm welcome by the receptionist. Haley, the hygienist I was seen by is fantastic! She’s extremely knowledgeable and has a gentle touch. I highly recommend going to this office.

My grandmother went in for a routine appointment last week, she’s gone there for years and hasn’t had a problem. She had breast cancer several years ago and it clearly says in her medical chart that she cannot have anymore exposure to radiation. The dentist refused to do a cleaning until she agreed to have x-rays done. She told them she couldn’t have any and explained her situation and told them to look at her chart. They still insisted she needed x-rays. She ended up having to get up and leave. I guess these dentists suddenly believe they are also oncologists.

This office definitely lived up to their great ratings at my first appointment! The staff was super friendly every step of the way, and explained things during the process which was awesome. Aside from this, they were also much more affordable when it came to out of pocket costs than any other dentist I’ve been too. Very happy I chose them!

When I came to this office I was super impressed with the service, the staff and the prices. My first appt. Plan was made on my dental care in two parts. Well the first part has been completed. I have called to continue the second part and now I all I get is excuses as to why I havent been given an appt to start my second part of a plan that was already discussed. I am now Looking for another dentist. I have no known reason why I have been treated this way. If the dentist does not want to provide service its time for me to go somewhere else. I am not impressed anymore.

This was such an awesome experience. It was my first time in, and I had completely got the date wrong. I felt awful about it, but they did everything to fit me in—all while being super nice and understanding.Haley is top-notch. It’s very clear she can do it all. She’s extremely smart, and you can just tell she’s passionate about her job.Dr. Amy is amazing. She was easy-going and found solutions that will help keep my teeth healthy for years to come. And she hummed while working! I loved that!I will be recommending this dentist to everyone. I wish I could give them more than five stars.

Dr. Brian Sutton and his staff are rock stars. While skiing in CO, I accidentally broke my front crown and Brian and his team were able to adjust their personal schedules to see me first thing on the following Monday morning. Their commitment to deliver high quality patient care is second to none. Fixing my front tooth wasn’t an easy task based on historical issues, yet the quality of Dr. Sutton’s work was incredible. I am thrilled with the results and highly recommend him and his team.

Yes, the 5 star rating from everyone is valid - they absolutely earn it. All of the staff are very polite, professional, and safe. They explain everything as theyre doing it, are very skillful in their cleaning and imaging, and are just generally very nice people. Very technologically advanced as well. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for dental work of any kind.

Beginning with scheduling an appointment online and ending with my visit this week, everything went as well as it could have. They reached out to me via text to move my appointment up by a month, they’re very mindful in regards to COVID safety, don’t get tired of being a inquisitive patient, and explained everything in detail. The only thing that could have been better is the use of something such as an Air-Flow system, like the one known by NSK. I have always had positive experiences with air prophylaxis systems, as it has superior polishing abilities. The office is clean, the staff is nice and the dental care is outstanding! Keep doing what you’re doing.

Today is my first visit and the service is excellent! The office team is friendly, professional and organized. Prior to my appointment I received the standard paperwork by email to complete as well as a COVID questionnaire. Once I arrived my temperature was taken and I only had a 2-3 minute wait before being seen. Everything went smooth.Excellent experience. I highly recommend this office.

The entire team was on point! They were running a few mins late when I arrived and were exceedingly apologetic and professional about it even though I felt like it was a typical wait time for a doc office!My cleaning was not painful at all in spite of some gum recession and having had a good chunk of time since my last cleaning. Everyone made me feel comfortable and I left with all the info I needed for my next steps for wisdom teeth removal and my next cleaning appointment. I will definitely continue to use this practice for my dental care.

Dr. Sutton’s office is a pleasure from corresponding with the admin staff, to the service provided by the hygienists and assistants, to the attention and care from the dentists. We have been well taken care of and always so pleased with our experience at this office. If you miss two appointments they will ban you from coming back. My mom scheduled one for me that I missed a year ago, and I missed one due to a flat tire. Now my mouth is in constant pain and I have to find a new dentist. Prepayed $120 for the gum treatment / cavity and the deposit is gone, I cant schedule a new visit, and no references for a new dentist. Thanks.

Dr. Sutton is FANTASTIC!!! Everyone in the office is kind, friendly, and so accommodating! I requested an appointment change just for convenience purposes and they said they’d let me know if anything opened up...within an hour, I got a call and they had an opening which was such a relief! Every hygienist I’ve had in my two years there has been wonderful - very thorough, and gave me great feedback. Dr. Sutton is the best - I saw him outside of the office and had a question that he took time (during his personal time) to answer! What I thought would be a quick thing took a little longer than expected but he was happy to help. He genuinely cares about his patients, his bedside manor will put any patient at ease. Parking is easy, and the office itself is so well appointed, everything is clean and updated which makes for a wonderful atmosphere! I highly recommend Dr. Sutton!

Absolutely the best dentist I’ve been too! They are so friendly and and put you at ease the moment you walk in the door. I usually have high anxiety going to the dentist and actual enjoy my six month check ups. Everyone there bends over backwards to be welcoming and kind! They want you to be apart of your dental care and work with you to make sure you teeth are healthy. Staff was friendly and office was nice. Unfortunately I asked if I owed anything before leaving and was told “No everything is being covered by your insurance” but then later received a bill. When I called to discuss they were rude and wanted to argue there was nothing wrong with them telling me I did not owe anything and then sending me a bill and that “I knew as much about what would be covered and not covered as they did”. Disappointing since simply acknowledging their mistake wouldn’t have ruined an otherwise pleasant experience.

Service was quick and polite. They do follow Covid safety protocals. Associates are polite. The office is very clean.

I feel gutted with whole experience n it’s all orchestrated. I gave my insurance member Id well before the appointment and shared scanned copy of card 10 mins prior to appointment that’s when they asked me to do. However during the appointment, when I asked if this is all covered in my insurance they said, we are checking . When I said let’s wait until it confirmed Because I don’t want to pay from my pocket. However they rushed things n quickly took X-rays before confirming Insurance part. I repeatedly asked even after that and before Doctor examined. They still said that checking with insurance provider. Once doctor examined for 5 mins they said it’s not covered and I have to pay from my pocket. When I asked they said it’s individuals responsibility to check with insurance if it’s in the network or not. However I question the professionalism here, why can’t they remind the patient at the time of appointment to do the same. Or at least wait during appointment.Please be more professional n kind. You will get money one way or the other.***After my review above, management has reached out to me and looked into the facts and refunded the money they charged earlier. Thanks to Dr Amy for taking time to talk to me, listening to my concerns and acted upon. Great experience all around. As a new patient they still got me an appointment only 2 days after I called. Very friendly staff and nice facility/equipment. Dr Sutton and his staff provided exceptional care, were very engaging, and took the time to explain their findings in detail. After my appointment they were able to schedule me back in the very same week to have the recommended procedures done. Will definitely return for all future dental needs.

The most friendly staff and doctors I have ever met. They were so patient with me even though I was incredibly overwhelmed. They took the time to explain everything they were doing, scans, procedures, tests, etc and showed videos that provided even more in depth descriptions. In addition, they provided what my bill should be after insurance coverage for my upcoming treatment, which will make it easier to finance. I really appreciated everything about this visit and look forward to my future visits!

Our family loves this office. Weve been going for years: By coincidence its near our house, but wed go even if it werent. The dentists are first-rate, the hygienists are top professionals, and the whole staff including the accounting and front-desk crew are genuinely caring people.

I needed to switch to a dentist in the area and was very reluctant about finding one. However, after my appointment I was so glad I chose Family Dentistry. Everyone was so friendly and professional. They were straightforward about each aspect of my appointment (time, cost, etc.). Dr. Amy and my hygienist were also very knowledge and took the time to share with me many ways I could specifically keep my gums and teeth in a healthier condition.

Prior to my visit, communication with scheduling whether it was via emails or follow up calls, was exceptional. I really, really hate to leave a poor review because the people are so nice as well as the facilities being state of the art.Sadly though, they’ve knocked out two (albeit old) fillings that resulted in me needing crowns. Yes, the fillings were older, but when the hygienist is poking and tugging at them and two days later they fall out, that’s not necessarily because of age.I’m down two teeth, $1000 in crowns, but mostly just in pain from it all the time. As much as I want to come back, I unfortunately don’t think it’s worked out too well so far.

I’ve been going to Brian Sutton since I moved to KC several years ago, and he and his staff are kind and accommodating as soon as you step foot in the door. It’s reassuring knowing that no matter which hygienist I see, they’re careful, diligent, and absolutely straightforward about what I need to have done that day. It almost makes me look forward to scheduling cleanings.

This is the type of relaxed office environment and service you would expect in a much smaller town, its very small and personal.
