My office visit started with Dr Good telling me straight away that I didn’t need to make a return appointment. I found that a little strange given we had never met before and examination had not been completed but I agreed and the appointment proceeded. I told him about the symptoms I was having and how my neurologist and PCP had done extensive testing over the past 4 years to rule out everything but cardiac etiology that’s would explain the pre-syncope,fatigue, and bradycardia I was experiencing. My PCP. Had referred me for consult, echo, holter and tilt table testing. The holter was done prior to my appt and was done at home and sent back for reading. After a brief exam he said he suspected a fib but we would know more when the holter report was back. He made very clear that I was not to make a follow up appointment but their office would call me. He gave me a hand out on a fib and told me “if the holter doesn’t show a fib, then there is nothing wrong with your heart; I’d send you back to your PCP for further work up.” This was opinion was solely based on an ECG and a brief 10 minute exam. He refused to order additional testing. Seven weeks passed, without holter results or any word other than a bill from his office. I did seek another opinion from an outside cardiologist who did listen to me and has ordered additional testing to rule out physical causes for symptoms my heart rate has been as low as 39 and will run in the 50’s for extended periods of time, which makes me feel awful, and tingling in my extremities. I am so frustrated that I wasted my time going to this doctor who clearly doesn’t want to see patients when the first thing out of his mouth is don’t come back! He spent less than half hour in the room and nearly 8 weeks later has never tried to get holter results and my PCP can’t get the results I don’t know if they were lost or what. But it was over $400 completely wasted. No return calls. Don’t waste your time. Keep looking for another cardiologist.

Dr. Good is the best Cardiologist, he listens and treat me like a person not number of object, he does not rush to do a procedure or cutting me open when I could go with stents.
